#not art (yet!!!!)#preddy good kristen I got goin on in this piece #for some reason my brain isnt letting me do this one. been stalling on it for a good few days. but I intend to break thru it #I need to put this on paper at least once #(its space sweepers. I think it would be funny if the kids are in that universe too but theyre just like off to the side doing their own #thing pretty much unrelated to the main plot. theyre delivery people. theyre all still teens. they get up to shenanigans and then #one day they look up like huh the guy who founded eden fucking died?? when #kristen specifically I got a decent amount hashed out in my brain somehow. she's like an engineered messiah with a grafted engine #along her upper body skeleton that'd let her spontaneously rearrange objects on a molecular level #so she can theoretically knit wounds or cure diseases by thinking abt it very hard #sadly the engine of course takes enormous amount of energy to power. so most of the time in practice she just #has a half-metal skeleton that doesn't do anything. so she's buff as shit on the upper side and one of her punches can break your neck #but her mobility is limited and she sprains her ankles like every other week. her shins have broken like a few times #I genuinely love the way her shoes n braces look in this one its very fun #there are a lot of choices I made in this one that are so fun and also just like. a result of putting them in space sweepers #and thinking to myself here and there hey this would be cool if it harkens back to their canon designs #not riz tho other than being human he is fully exactly like how he looks in canon. hes just like that #hes the navigator and he charts their courses by hand with a school calculator #(also technically their legal counselor since he's sorta responsible for not putting them in traffic control's hands)#drawing this does make me realise a lot of these dynamics are really fun lol. idk if Im gonna ever do anything like proper for this but #at the very least if I draw this the idea will be out there)

common problem i have w/ a lot of fanon is that people tend to heavily overestimate how attentive dean is to sam's issues/needs. dean is often fucking clueless abt what sam is going thru lol. outside of the immediate strain it places on their relationship and their ability to do their Job.

#he doesnt ask too many questions. for a reason. he is not equipped to handle the answers #like dean doesnt know jack shit abt sam's possession trauma which is 1 of the reasons he did what he did w/ gadreel #hes aware that 'sam would rather die' but what does that actually mean. how does it tangibly affect sam. in th short term and the long term #like no dean wouldnt actually be angry w/ meg or lucifer or gadreel for violating sam's agency #dean violates sam's agency himself like it's his life's purpose #he's primarily angry w/ them for Fucking With his marriage lmao. or for giving dean personally a hard time #same reason he hated soulless. not (primarily) bc it meant sam's soul was being flayed alive in the cage still #but bc soulless made his life difficult and confusing.#im being a bit uncharitable towards dean w/ this one But come on. #Okay to put it into better words:#Veritas having once being a prince wanted to give everyone the prosperity of knowledge and became a civil god in the pursuit of it.#Sadly this backfires in people using that knowledge for their own greed and creating civil wars within it as well as unleashing far more #Destruction upon the land. And the other gods didn't help Veritas in stopping that bc see that's what happens when people overshare info!!#So the aftermath is just pure chaos plus banishment from being a civil god and thrown as this god of war and plague.#800 years passes and he is seen to just still be doing the same things but I a simple term. Teaching people to read and count.#Often times taking up mission and doing research on new pathogens to help cure the sick that can't afford and somehow during a reading #Lecture he gets ascended back to godhood and everyone is like ??? And even he is like ???#Well he doesn't care much about it and just continues to do what he's always done. Except that once in a while he has to take a detour #Mission to deal with ghosts and other malignant spirits. One of which had struck his sister. He liked the prince and wanted to #Follow in giving and protecting the prosperity of the former kingdom. But the good things did not last and his family was struck in between #The many wars that took place. No matter how much refuge Kakavasha and his sister sought no place was ever #Safe enough for them.#He watched the entire world go up in flames yet somehow he could hate the prince-god for it. But rather the people who had started to #Create weapons in his name. The rest of his years he spent it as a warrior slave and then when death reached him he couldn't even go to #The afterlife since he still held so much vigor and wanted revenge to all the people who had turned his land into ashes and his family #Into bones. It’s recently come to my attention that I haven’t said a word about my London & Macbeth trip (that’s a blatant lie, I’ve just been lazy), so here goes: MACBETH WAS EVEN MORE AMAZING THAT I THOUGHT POSSIBLE. In truth I still had my doubts about the headphones but those disappeared probably as soon as the lights went out, the music came on and DT first flashed those magnificent hairy knees at me. There’s so much spit flying past and towards you (shout out to my man not born of woman, Macduff), no wonder the whole company was ill the other week.

I haven’t anything else intelligible to say that hasn’t already been said, but I’ve got a curtain call video to call my own and I’m so happy about that (I fumbled with the phone due to heightened emotions or something so of course I took a photo first).

Annoyingly, there’s a 10-photo limit on these posts? What travesty.

Met up with @theeminentlyimpractical at the infinitely gorgeous Painted Hall in Greenwich, got flirted at by our tour guide at The Globe in front of everyone else, embarrassingly enough (or was it just friendly banter? well, we shall never know now; hey, Tyler, if you’re reading this, Meghan sends her love), so all in all, excellent times were had by all.

#My art #Original #Cure #Still not her name but y'know #Got the very strong urge to colour her digitally to try and capture some of her candypop colour design #These still wouldn't count as her ''canon'' design since she doesn't have one but it's A version of her at least #Like for instance the light parts of her paws belly and face could be fully brown and be just as canon #Or her eyes could be more subdued - lack of claws - different brows - lack of stitches #She's still an extremely fluid design when it comes to the details #As long as she's a brown plush bear she's herself #Though the more I think about it - when she's Eyes like this she probably is a bit fuzzier #Like Maybe visible stitching but probably even a thicker fur than minkie - 2cm maybe? But of that tight curl fluff #The hearts in her ears (which may or may not be there lol) - the crisp shape would probably be muddled by the fuzz hmm #Just gives me more reason to fully render her lol - how many equally un-canon versions of her can I make!#The different colour mixing was a lot of fun :) Picking what goes where even in the muddier colours haha #Fun to have a gradient shine on her nails! Just saying if Harry IS Venom's true host in SM2 then I really hope that they don't have Harry himself become a villain. Because from the little we've seen of him in the first game he seems to be a sweet guy who genuinely cares about the environment and wants to follow in his mom's footsteps. He's so vastly different to Norman with how much he actually cares about making a difference, it's what makes him stand out from most Harry's in Spider-Man adaptations to me.

Also not to mention, we've seen the “sick guy becomes desperate to live and becomes corrupted by whatever helps him and turns into a villain” plot before with Doc Ock so. Surely they can't repeat that, right?

Anyway yeah, if Harry is Venom, I just want him to still be Harry, not twisted and changed into a completely different character with such a big personality switch.

I'm like oh I don't know if I should post pics from last night on Tumblr....fuck it, you guys are my weird little internet friends and it's not like I have put my face up here before.

Last night I went to the Cure show in Houston. Very happy with my outfit. The dress I made from a vintage 1960 pattern and Halloween skull floral fabric.

Our seats were Great, worth all the many, many pennies. This was my 7th Cure show, best seats I've ever had dead center 16th row.

They sounded great, better than last tour, great energy, though the show was a little shorter than their typical marathon length show. (2hr 40 minutes rather than 3+hrs, but we're all getting older)

There's something so damn magical, healing, and spiritual about singing along at the top of your lungs to your favorite band, along with thousands of other people singing along at the top of their lungs. Like so many people around me were there for their favorite band too. The lady next to me was like almost in tears when they started.

Worth every penny and also the fact I feel like I've been beaten with a baseball bat today. I could barely walk out of the arena after how much I danced, despite, yanno my infirmities.

Anyway, if I have a message to send it's spend money on experiences, don't miss out on things you love, life is for living.

i want them to be involuntary friends. I want it to look like a huge 8ft tall straight* guy calling his obviously gay best friend a wretched bitch and everyone is a little uncomfortable about it except for duvall, who may or may not be behind lyke's bizarrely bad luck when it comes to flies landing in his drinks.

(*i don't think lyke is straight but i do think he's the type of bisexual man that people assume is straight)

soulless sam was at his best when he was still being written as a version of sam, to accentuate parts of him that normally get held back, and not as 'guess he's evil now'. soulless sam when he's reflecting sam's tendency to lose sight of everything else in pursuit of a goal. soulless sam when he's just kind of rude without thinking about it without his filter on. soulless sam when he's equal parts intent on keeping dean with him and also happy to lie to him and keep him shut out of the things he knows dean won't like so that dean won't leave. soulless sam when he equally recognizes that he is a better hunter now, and also that he probably can't continue to exist without his soul. (you know. before they went along with making him just kind of evil.)

...soulless sam when he's begging for literally anyone to acknowledge his autonomy in this situation and not force him to take his soul back without knowing how much it could damage him and being ignored.
