Fantasy Guide to Interiors
As a followup to the very popular post on architecture, I decided to add onto it by exploring the interior of each movement and the different design techniques and tastes of each era. This post at be helpful for historical fiction, fantasy or just a long read when you're bored.
Interior Design Terms

Ancient Greece
Houses were made of either sun-dried clay bricks or stone which were painted when they dried. Ground floors were decorated with coloured stones and tiles called Mosaics. Upper level floors were made from wood. Homes were furnished with tapestries and furniture, and in grand homes statues and grand altars would be found. Furniture was very skillfully crafted in Ancient Greece, much attention was paid to the carving and decoration of such things. Of course, Ancient Greece is ancient so I won't be going through all the movements but I will talk a little about columns.
Doric: Doric is the oldest of the orders and some argue it is the simplest. The columns of this style are set close together, without bases and carved with concave curves called flutes. The capitals (the top of the column) are plain often built with a curve at the base called an echinus and are topped by a square at the apex called an abacus. The entablature is marked by frieze of vertical channels/triglyphs. In between the channels would be detail of carved marble. The Parthenon in Athens is your best example of Doric architecture.
Ionic: The Ionic style was used for smaller buildings and the interiors. The columns had twin volutes, scroll-like designs on its capital. Between these scrolls, there was a carved curve known as an egg and in this style the entablature is much narrower and the frieze is thick with carvings. The example of Ionic Architecture is the Temple to Athena Nike at the Athens Acropolis.
Corinthian: The Corinthian style has some similarities with the Ionic order, the bases, entablature and columns almost the same but the capital is more ornate its base, column, and entablature, but its capital is far more ornate, commonly carved with depictions of acanthus leaves. The style was more slender than the others on this list, used less for bearing weight but more for decoration. Corinthian style can be found along the top levels of the Colosseum in Rome.
Tuscan: The Tuscan order shares much with the Doric order, but the columns are un-fluted and smooth. The entablature is far simpler, formed without triglyphs or guttae. The columns are capped with round capitals.
Composite: This style is mixed. It features the volutes of the Ionic order and the capitals of the Corinthian order. The volutes are larger in these columns and often more ornate. The column's capital is rather plain. for the capital, with no consistent differences to that above or below the capital.
Ancient Rome
Rome is well known for its outward architectural styles. However the Romans did know how to add that rizz to the interior. Ceilings were either vaulted or made from exploded beams that could be painted. The Romans were big into design. Moasics were a common interior sight, the use of little pieces of coloured glass or stone to create a larger image. Frescoes were used to add colour to the home, depicting mythical figures and beasts and also different textures such as stonework or brick. The Romans loved their furniture. Dining tables were low and the Romans ate on couches. Weaving was a popular pastime so there would be tapestries and wall hangings in the house. Rich households could even afford to import fine rugs from across the Empire. Glass was also a feature in Roman interior but windows were usually not paned as large panes were hard to make. Doors were usually treated with panels that were carved or in lain with bronze.
Ancient Egypt
Egypt was one of the first great civilisations, known for its immense and grand structures. Wealthy Egyptians had grand homes. The walls were painted or plastered usually with bright colours and hues. The Egyptians are cool because they mapped out their buildings in such a way to adhere to astrological movements meaning on special days if the calendar the temple or monuments were in the right place always. The columns of Egyptian where thicker, more bulbous and often had capitals shaped like bundles of papyrus reeds. Woven mats and tapestries were popular decor. Motifs from the river such as palms, papyrus and reeds were popular symbols used.
Ancient Africa
African Architecture is a very mixed bag and more structurally different and impressive than Hollywood would have you believe. Far beyond the common depictions of primitive buildings, the African nations were among the giants of their time in architecture, no style quite the same as the last but just as breathtaking.
Rwandan Architecture: The Rwandans commonly built of hardened clay with thatched roofs of dried grass or reeds. Mats of woven reeds carpeted the floors of royal abodes. These residences folded about a large public area known as a karubanda and were often so large that they became almost like a maze, connecting different chambers/huts of all kinds of uses be they residential or for other purposes.
Ashanti Architecture: The Ashanti style can be found in present day Ghana. The style incorporates walls of plaster formed of mud and designed with bright paint and buildings with a courtyard at the heart, not unlike another examples on this post. The Ashanti also formed their buildings of the favourite method of wattle and daub.
Nubian Architecture: Nubia, in modern day Ethiopia, was home to the Nubians who were one of the world's most impressive architects at the beginning of the architecture world and probably would be more talked about if it weren't for the Egyptians building monuments only up the road. The Nubians were famous for building the speos, tall tower-like spires carved of stone. The Nubians used a variety of materials and skills to build, for example wattle and daub and mudbrick. The Kingdom of Kush, the people who took over the Nubian Empire was a fan of Egyptian works even if they didn't like them very much. The Kushites began building pyramid-like structures such at the sight of Gebel Barkal
Japanese Interiors
Japenese interior design rests upon 7 principles. Kanso (簡素)- Simplicity, Fukinsei (不均整)- Asymmetry, Shizen (自然)- Natural, Shibumi (渋味) – Simple beauty, Yugen (幽玄)- subtle grace, Datsuzoku (脱俗) – freedom from habitual behaviour, Seijaku (静寂)- tranquillity.
Common features of Japanese Interior Design:
Shoji walls: these are the screens you think of when you think of the traditional Japanese homes. They are made of wooden frames, rice paper and used to partition
Tatami: Tatami mats are used within Japanese households to blanket the floors. They were made of rice straw and rush straw, laid down to cushion the floor.
Genkan: The Genkan was a sunken space between the front door and the rest of the house. This area is meant to separate the home from the outside and is where shoes are discarded before entering.
Japanese furniture: often lowest, close to the ground. These include tables and chairs but often tanked are replaced by zabuton, large cushions. Furniture is usually carved of wood in a minimalist design.
Nature: As both the Shinto and Buddhist beliefs are great influences upon architecture, there is a strong presence of nature with the architecture. Wood is used for this reason and natural light is prevalent with in the home. The orientation is meant to reflect the best view of the world.
Islamic World Interior
The Islamic world has one of the most beautiful and impressive interior design styles across the world. Colour and detail are absolute staples in the movement. Windows are usually not paned with glass but covered in ornate lattices known as jali. The jali give ventilation, light and privacy to the home. Islamic Interiors are ornate and colourful, using coloured ceramic tiles. The upper parts of walls and ceilings are usually flat decorated with arabesques (foliate ornamentation), while the lower wall areas were usually tiled. Features such as honeycombed ceilings, horseshoe arches, stalactite-fringed arches and stalactite vaults (Muqarnas) are prevalent among many famous Islamic buildings such as the Alhambra and the Blue Mosque.
Byzantine (330/395–1453 A. D)
The Byzantine Empire or Eastern Roman Empire was where eat met west, leading to a melting pot of different interior designs based on early Christian styles and Persian influences. Mosaics are probably what you think of when you think of the Byzantine Empire. Ivory was also a popular feature in the Interiors, with carved ivory or the use of it in inlay. The use of gold as a decorative feature usually by way of repoussé (decorating metals by hammering in the design from the backside of the metal). Fabrics from Persia, heavily embroidered and intricately woven along with silks from afar a field as China, would also be used to upholster furniture or be used as wall hangings. The Byzantines favoured natural light, usually from the use of copolas.
Indian Interiors
India is of course, the font of all intricate designs. India's history is sectioned into many eras but we will focus on a few to give you an idea of prevalent techniques and tastes.
The Gupta Empire (320 – 650 CE): The Gupta era was a time of stone carving. As impressive as the outside of these buildings are, the Interiors are just as amazing. Gupta era buildings featured many details such as ogee (circular or horseshoe arch), gavaksha/chandrashala (the motif centred these arches), ashlar masonry (built of squared stone blocks) with ceilings of plain, flat slabs of stone.
Delhi Sultanate (1206–1526): Another period of beautifully carved stone. The Delhi sultanate had influence from the Islamic world, with heavy uses of mosaics, brackets, intricate mouldings, columns and and hypostyle halls.
Mughal Empire (1526–1857): Stonework was also important on the Mughal Empire. Intricately carved stonework was seen in the pillars, low relief panels depicting nature images and jalis (marble screens). Stonework was also decorated in a stye known as pietra dura/parchin kari with inscriptions and geometric designs using colored stones to create images. Tilework was also popular during this period. Moasic tiles were cut and fitted together to create larger patters while cuerda seca tiles were coloured tiles outlined with black.
Chinese Interiors
Common features of Chinese Interiors
Use of Colours: Colour in Chinese Interior is usually vibrant and bold. Red and Black are are traditional colours, meant to bring luck, happiness, power, knowledge and stability to the household.
Latticework: Lattices are a staple in Chinese interiors most often seen on shutters, screens, doors of cabinets snf even traditional beds.
Lacquer: Multiple coats of lacquer are applied to furniture or cabinets (now walls) and then carved. The skill is called Diaoqi (雕漆).
Decorative Screens: Screens are used to partition off part of a room. They are usually of carved wood, pained with very intricate murals.
Shrines: Spaces were reserved on the home to honour ancestors, usually consisting of an altar where offerings could be made.
Of course, Chinese Interiors are not all the same through the different eras. While some details and techniques were interchangeable through different dynasties, usually a dynasty had a notable style or deviation. These aren't all the dynasties of course but a few interesting examples.
Song Dynasty (960–1279): The Song Dynasty is known for its stonework. Sculpture was an important part of Song Dynasty interior. It was in this period than brick and stone work became the most used material. The Song Dynasty was also known for its very intricate attention to detail, paintings, and used tiles.
Ming Dynasty(1368–1644): Ceilings were adorned with cloisons usually featuring yellow reed work. The floors would be of flagstones usually of deep tones, mostly black. The Ming Dynasty favoured richly coloured silk hangings, tapestries and furnishings. Furniture was usually carved of darker woods, arrayed in a certain way to bring peace to the dwelling.
Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD): Interior walls were plastered and painted to show important figures and scenes. Lacquer, though it was discovered earlier, came into greater prominence with better skill in this era.
Tang Dynasty (618–907) : The colour palette is restrained, reserved. But the Tang dynasty is not without it's beauty. Earthenware reached it's peak in this era, many homes would display fine examples as well. The Tang dynasty is famous for its upturned eaves, the ceilings supported by timber columns mounted with metal or stone bases. Glazed tiles were popular in this era, either a fixed to the roof or decorating a screen wall.
Romanesque (6th -11th century/12th)
Romanesque Architecture is a span between the end of Roman Empire to the Gothic style. Taking inspiration from the Roman and Byzantine Empires, the Romanesque period incorporates many of the styles. The most common details are carved floral and foliage symbols with the stonework of the Romanesque buildings. Cable mouldings or twisted rope-like carvings would have framed doorways. As per the name, Romansque Interiors relied heavily on its love and admiration for Rome. The Romanesque style uses geometric shapes as statements using curves, circles snf arches. The colours would be clean and warm, focusing on minimal ornamentation.
Gothic Architecture (12th Century - 16th Century)
The Gothic style is what you think of when you think of old European cathedrals and probably one of the beautiful of the styles on this list and one of most recognisable. The Gothic style is a dramatic, opposing sight and one of the easiest to describe. Decoration in this era became more ornate, stonework began to sport carving and modelling in a way it did not before. The ceilings moved away from barreled vaults to quadripartite and sexpartite vaulting. Columns slimmed as other supportive structures were invented. Intricate stained glass windows began their popularity here. In Gothic structures, everything is very symmetrical and even.
Mediaeval (500 AD to 1500)
Interiors of mediaeval homes are not quite as drab as Hollywood likes to make out. Building materials may be hidden by plaster in rich homes, sometimes even painted. Floors were either dirt strewn with rushes or flagstones in larger homes. Stonework was popular, especially around fireplaces. Grand homes would be decorated with intricate woodwork, carved heraldic beasts and wall hangings of fine fabrics.
Renaissance (late 1300s-1600s)
The Renaissance was a period of great artistry and splendor. The revival of old styles injected symmetry and colour into the homes. Frescoes were back. Painted mouldings adorned the ceilings and walls. Furniture became more ornate, fixed with luxurious upholstery and fine carvings. Caryatids (pillars in the shape of women), grotesques, Roman and Greek images were used to spruce up the place. Floors began to become more intricate, with coloured stone and marble. Modelled stucco, sgraffiti arabesques (made by cutting lines through a layer of plaster or stucco to reveal an underlayer), and fine wall painting were used in brilliant combinations in the early part of the 16th century.
Tudor Interior (1485-1603)
The Tudor period is a starkly unique style within England and very recognisable. Windows were fixed with lattice work, usually casement. Stained glass was also in in this period, usually depicting figures and heraldic beasts. Rooms would be panelled with wood or plastered. Walls would be adorned with tapestries or embroidered hangings. Windows and furniture would be furnished with fine fabrics such as brocade. Floors would typically be of wood, sometimes strewn with rush matting mixed with fresh herbs and flowers to freshen the room.
Baroque (1600 to 1750)
The Baroque period was a time for splendor and for splashing the cash. The interior of a baroque room was usually intricate, usually of a light palette, featuring a very high ceiling heavy with detail. Furniture would choke the room, ornately carved and stitched with very high quality fabrics. The rooms would be full of art not limited to just paintings but also sculptures of marble or bronze, large intricate mirrors, moldings along the walls which may be heavily gilded, chandeliers and detailed paneling.
Victorian (1837-1901)
We think of the interiors of Victorian homes as dowdy and dark but that isn't true. The Victorians favoured tapestries, intricate rugs, decorated wallpaper, exquisitely furniture, and surprisingly, bright colour. Dyes were more widely available to people of all stations and the Victorians did not want for colour. Patterns and details were usually nature inspired, usually floral or vines. Walls could also be painted to mimic a building material such as wood or marble and most likely painted in rich tones. The Victorians were suckers for furniture, preferring them grandly carved with fine fabric usually embroidered or buttoned. And they did not believe in minimalism. If you could fit another piece of furniture in a room, it was going in there. Floors were almost eclusively wood laid with the previously mentioned rugs. But the Victorians did enjoy tiled floors but restricted them to entrances. The Victorians were quite in touch with their green thumbs so expect a lot of flowers and greenery inside. with various elaborately decorated patterned rugs. And remember, the Victorians loved to display as much wealth as they could. Every shelf, cabinet, case and ledge would be chocked full of ornaments and antiques.
Edwardian/The Gilded Age/Belle Epoque (1880s-1914)
This period (I've lumped them together for simplicity) began to move away from the deep tones and ornate patterns of the Victorian period. Colour became more neutral. Nature still had a place in design. Stained glass began to become popular, especially on lampshades and light fixtures. Embossing started to gain popularity and tile work began to expand from the entrance halls to other parts of the house. Furniture began to move away from dark wood, some families favouring breathable woods like wicker. The rooms would be less cluttered.
Art Deco (1920s-1930s)
The 1920s was a time of buzz and change. Gone were the refined tastes of the pre-war era and now the wow factor was in. Walls were smoother, buildings were sharper and more jagged, doorways and windows were decorated with reeding and fluting. Pastels were in, as was the heavy use of black and white, along with gold. Mirrors and glass were in, injecting light into rooms. Gold, silver, steel and chrome were used in furnishings and decor. Geometric shapes were a favourite design choice. Again, high quality and bold fabrics were used such as animal skins or colourful velvet. It was all a rejection of the Art Noveau movement, away from nature focusing on the man made.
Modernism (1930 - 1965)
Modernism came after the Art Deco movement. Fuss and feathers were out the door and now, practicality was in. Materials used are shown as they are, wood is not painted, metal is not coated. Bright colours were acceptable but neutral palettes were favoured. Interiors were open and favoured large windows. Furniture was practical, for use rather than the ornamentation, featuring plain details of any and geometric shapes. Away from Art Deco, everything is straight, linear and streamlined.

Final Girl: Act II
Pairing: Daichi x Reader x Kuroo
Tags: NSFW, Yandere, Non-Con, Dehumanization, Humiliation, Belly Expansion/Forced Enema and Water Sports, Mind-Break, Non-Con Photography/Filming, Forced Bondage, Sex Machines, Cow Tail Plug
A/N: Think I hit the biggest TWs, but just be warned this is leaning into Dead Dove territory and there’s a lot here. My depraved mind is clearly making up for the literal years I’ve left you all hanging smut wise.
Link to Final Girl: Act I
Women are trained actors when it comes to fooling men and you tell yourself this is no different than smoothly weaning off the unwanted attention of an annoyingly persistent man at a bar. Fluttering your eyelashes, laughing and smiling on cue, maybe slightly overexaggerating how divine Daichi’s cooking is, you’re the epitome of a silly smitten woman. Too bad you’re pitted against two even more veteran actors who are enjoying your little act, enjoying pushing your fraying nerves.
A feline smile widens at how your muscles subtly tighten, swiftly painted over by a coy smile when calloused hands purposefully linger and litter your body with far too many casual touches.
An eyebrow above seemingly kind brown eyes slightly arches in amusement at how you pretend to admire the interior of the cabin, trying to hide how your gaze pauses at every possible escape route.
But as fun as it is to watch you flounder about, the show must go on.
“I’m glad you like the meal. The eggs are actually from the neighbor who lives on the land next door.”
Both men hide their shared mirth at how your neck practically snaps towards them at those words. How predictable.
“Oh, you have a neighbor? Where? It didn’t seem like there was anyone nearby when I found your cabin…”
You drone on, every carefully inquisitive phrase and sentence nothing new to the two players watching you unknowingly recite your script word for word. Intermission is over and the second act has officially begun.
Scene: Foolish girl walks right into an obviously placed trap.
It’s a delicate dance feigning interest, coquettish charms on full display while gently turning down the offers to stay up late that night. A well placed giggle here and there while you gracefully dodge the proffered glasses of wine Kuroo seems set on you drinking. An Oscar worthy rendition of an exhausted woman when Daichi playfully brings out a deck of playing cards. It takes everything in you to pace yourself as you climb up the stairs to the guest bedroom, to keep up the act with an exaggerated yawn, when every instinct in you is begging you to flee and run as fast as your legs can take you.
Safely behind your locked door, you quietly wait for the dead of night while two beasts silently prowl and scheme beneath you.
Let the hunt begin.
It’s been hours since you’ve heard the sound of their voices, hours since you’ve heard both of them enter and close their respective doors, hours since you’ve heard any sound at all in the house. Surely they must be deep asleep?
You can’t risk double checking, not when every footstep you take is already an enormous risk. So instead you head directly for the door, slipping into the shadows as best you can, racing in the direction that Daichi had mentioned their neighbor occupied.
All you hear is your racing heart. All you see is endless greenery. Yet you feel that something is following you, watching you, hunting you. You don’t dare to fully stop, but confusion laces your natural instincts when every harried gaze backwards reveals nothing but the eerie darkness of the wilderness that encompasses you.
It feels like you’ve been running for ages, lungs burning, legs aching. Doubt and panic creep into your mind. How far did Daichi say this neighbor lived? Were you heading in the wrong direction- Your spiraling train of thought abruptly stops as the top of a structure peeks out from above the treeline. Could that be…A relieved sob forces its way out of your choked up throat as the outline of a barn becomes clearer with every approaching step. Hope fuels you to the finish line.
This has to be the neighbor’s farm, but you falter as you draw nearer. For an active working farm Daichi and Kuroo had been chatting a storm up about this morning, it’s awfully quiet. Not an animal in sight. You reason with yourself that it’s simply because of the odd hours. Of course any sane living creature would be asleep at this time. You’re sure the animals are just in their stables and pens. You’ll knock on the door and someone will answer. They’ll help you and everything will be alright.
Knock Knock
Scene: Girl ignores all warning signs.
You’re not completely wrong. When you knock someone does answer and your legs turn to lead as familiar brown eyes amusedly scan you over.
“Well well well, doesn’t this feel like deja vu? You know, it’s dangerous for girls to visit stranger’s homes. You should really fix that bad habit.”
Involuntarily your body takes a shaky step backwards only to collide with a firm surface and suddenly arms are snaking around you, pinning you in place, an unnervingly familiar sly voice chuckling in your ear.
“That was a fun little run, princess. I’ve worked up quite the appetite.”
You cry out, fight instincts taking over your body with flight no longer being an option as Kuroo’s arms painfully tighten their hold on you while he sinks teeth into your skin, biting, sucking, marking your vulnerably exposed neck. Squirming, kicking, flailing to no avail, you let out a choked sob when you realize all you’re doing is enticing the man behind you more, tears forming in your eyes as you feel him harden, hear his lewd moans in your ears as he ruts his clothed erection against you from behind.
You’re manhandled further into the barn, four arms now easily subduing you, toying with you as your struggles are repaid with sharp smacks to your ass, cruel pinches to your now exposed nipples as your clothes are torn off of you. Then suddenly, for a split second, you’re able to breathe, dilated pupils whirling around trying to understand what’s going on-
The barn fills with your screams as a pelt of cold water washes over you, your sobs and writhing a stark contrast to Kuroo’s relaxed smile as he lazily aims the hose at you. But before you can even think about lunging towards him you’re pulled onto Daichi’s lap, his hands cupping your breasts, almost laughably intimate in the way they knead and stroke your skin, lathering soapy suds onto every inch of you. You harshly throw your head back hoping to make contact, anger beginning to lace itself among your tumultuous emotions, but Daichi’s a pro at this, easily foreshadowing your every move. Your retaliation is countered by a painfully accurate smack to the space between your legs, exposed for all to see as Daichi’s knees hook between yours, prying your thighs open.
You feel like livestock, strung up on display for its owners to examine, one of Daichi’s hands holding your wrists behind your back, the position forcing your back to arch, thrusting your chest on full display, the cool night air brushing against your most intimate parts between your spread legs. There’s nothing you can do as Kuroo stalks closer to the two of you, hose still in hand, a razor sharp smile splitting his handsome face. It’s humiliating how Daichi treats you like a frightened animal, cooing at you, deft fingers skillfully tugging and flicking your nipples, drawing soothing gentle lines down your navel before landing at their final destination.
“Good girl.”
His words barely register as you let out a shaky moan when he circles your clit, your body unwillingly melting into his touch. But then you’re tensing, begging them to stop as Kuroo slips one finger inside of you, then two, the feeling of them scissoring inside of you combined with Daichi’s touches and his voice overwhelming, terrifying, delicious. There are three fingers in you now, the embarrassing sound of your leaking hungry cunt brutally apparent in the empty silent space.
“What a dirty girl. I knew you were a slut, but you’re liking this even more than I thought you would. Time to wash you again.”
You mewl in confusion when Kuroo suddenly pulls out of you eliciting mocking laughs from both men, but you’re not left empty for long and you shriek as the hose is ruthlessly plunged into you, cold water gushing into you, filling you, expanding your insides more than you could ever have imagined. Seconds feel like ages and you plead with them to stop, whimpering in discomfort as Daichi splays his free hand across your now bulging stomach. Just when you don’t think you can take anywhere it stops and hot tears of humiliation stray from your eyes as Kuroo pulls the hose out, a splattering of water you can’t control leaking from your clenching hole.
It takes everything in you to not let any more water out. It hurts, the fullness almost unbearable. But you won’t give them the satisfaction- Can’t give them the satisfaction of debasing you further by relieving yourself in front of them like a damn animal.
Except you do. After all, will power can only do so much against biology and you cry out as Daichi forcefully presses down on your stomach, a vulgar explosion of water expelling from between your legs, the harsh flash of a camera in Kuroo’s hands capturing every moment of your disgraceful fall.
Something inside you breaks at that moment. This can’t be real. How could this be happening to you? Things like this don’t happen in real life. It hurts to think.
So, you stop.
It’s easier to give in. Easier to accept the way Kuroo’s cock too easily sinks into your quivering and still dripping wet hole. Easier to melt into Daichi’s soothing voice and touch as he praises your newfound obedience while they perform the same cleansing ritual to your back hole. Easier to moan, drool, and enjoy the stretch and slide of both their cocks fucking you. One at a time. Two at a time. Your mouth is also used when both holes are deemed sufficiently christened…at least for now.
You’re so warm. Warm from the two bodies entwining and smothering you between them. Warm from the cum leaking from every crevice of your body. Warm from the graciously more comfortable temperate shower your two captors decide to reward you with.
Eyes heavy, breath slowing into an exhausted sleep cadence, you barely react to the leather collar carefully locked around your neck, only stirring slightly at the obnoxious sound of the cowbell on it ringing as you’re moved to a different section of the barn, a blindfold wrapped around your head. You sleepily whine as you’re repositioned, your stomach laid across a plush leather surface, legs, arms, and neck supported and locked into position, your breasts hanging below you.
Sleep is lulling you in, finally. Maybe if you sleep and wake up, it’ll all just be a dream, a nightmare. But there’s something too real about the sudden thrumming of electricity that fills the air, something too real about the dildo thrusting in and out of you, something too real about the vibrating plug being pushed into your ass, a pretty cow tail attached to it that brushes and sways against you with every limited movement you make. And there’s something too real about the devices being attached to your breasts, something too real about the suction as your nipples are milked, the vibrators and brushes inside of the plastic cups only enhancing your overstimulation.
Unknown to you, two pairs of eyes watch you, drinking in the sight of their newest pet, satisfied smiles on their lips as they watch you helplessly thrash around as much as your restraints will let you, your cries of ecstasy a sweet melody to their ears as you’re forced to come undone over and over again, a slave to the pleasure forced upon you.
End of Act II.

how to describe? Houses, rooms, interiors, palaces, etc?
Creating immersive descriptions of indoor spaces is more than just scene setting—it’s an invitation to the reader to step into your world. Describing the interior of buildings with vivid detail can draw readers into your narrative. So let’s explore how to describe interiors using multiple sensory experiences and contexts.
Sights
Lighting: soft glow of lamps, harsh fluorescent lights, or natural light.
Colour and textures; peeling paint, plush velvet, or sleek marble.
Size and scale: is it claustrophobically small or impressively grand?
Architectural features: high ceilings, crown mouldings, or exposed beams.
Furnishings: are they modern, sparse, antique, or cluttered?
Style and decor: what style is represented, and how does it affect the atmosphere?
State of repair: is the space well-kept, neglected, or under renovation?
Perspective and layout: how do spaces flow into each other?
Unique design features: describe sculptural elements, or things that stand out.
Spatial relationships: describe how objects are arranged—what’s next to, across from, or underneath something else?
Sounds
Describe echoes in large spaces or the muffled quality of sound in carpeted or furnished rooms.
Note background noises; is there a persistent hum of an air conditioner, or the tick of a clock?
Describe the sound of footsteps; do they click, scuff, or are they inaudible?
Include voices; are they loud and echoing or soft and absorbed?
Is there music? Is it piped in, coming from a live source, or perhaps drifting in from outside?
Capture the sounds of activity; typing, machinery, kitchen noises, etc.
Describe natural sounds; birds outside the window, or the rustle of trees.
Consider sound dynamics; is the space acoustically lively or deadened?
Include unexpected noises that might be unique to the building.
Consider silence as a sound quality. What does the absence of noise convey?
Smells
Identify cleaning products or air fresheners. Do they create a sterile or inviting smell?
Describe cooking smells if near a kitchen; can you identify specific foods?
Mention natural scents; does the room smell of wood, plants, or stone?
Are there musty or stale smells in less ventilated spaces?
Note the smell of new materials; fresh paint, new carpet, or upholstery.
Point out if there’s an absence of smell, which can be as notable as a powerful scent.
Consider personal scents; perfume, sweat, or the hint of someone’s presence.
Include scents from outside that find their way in; ocean air, city smells, etc.
Use metaphors and similes to relate unfamiliar smells to common experiences.
Describe intensity and layering of scents; is there a primary scent supported by subtler ones?
Activities
Describe people’s actions; are they relaxing, working, hurried, or leisurely?
Does the space have a traditional use? What do people come there to do?
Note mechanical activity; elevators moving, printers printing, etc.
Include interactions; are people talking, arguing, or collaborating?
Mention solitary activities; someone reading, writing, or involved in a hobby.
Capture movements; are there servers bustling about, or a janitor sweeping?
Observe routines and rituals; opening blinds in the morning, locking doors at night.
Include energetic activities; perhaps children playing or a bustling trade floor.
Note restful moments; spaces where people come to unwind or reflect.
Describe cultural or community activities that might be unique to the space.
Decorative style
Describe the overall style; is it minimalist, baroque, industrial, or something else?
Note period influences; does the decor reflect a specific era or design movement?
Include colour schemes and how they play with or against each other.
Mention patterns; on wallpaper, upholstery, or tiles.
Describe textural contrasts; rough against smooth, shiny against matte.
Observe symmetry or asymmetry in design.
Note the presence of signature pieces; a chandelier, an antique desk, or a modern art installation.
Mention thematic elements; nautical, floral, astronomical, etc.
Describe homemade or bespoke items that add character.
Include repetitive elements; motifs that appear throughout the space.
History
Mention historical usage; was the building repurposed, and does it keep its original function?
Describe architectural time periods; identify features that pinpoint the era of construction.
Note changes over time; upgrades, downgrades, or restorations.
Include historical events that took place within or affected the building.
Mention local or regional history that influenced the building’s design or function.
Describe preservation efforts; are there plaques, restored areas, or visible signs of aging?

Love Scenario
Ecthelion x reader
Request: Hey! Can I request a dating fic between reader and Ecthelion? How does he woo/court her? What about their engagement? Wedding plans? Especially if this is set in Valinor after the FoG, and he’s just come back to life, and like, omg, now I have this lady I want to check out when I’m fresh out of soul prison. He probably relies on Glorfindel a little bit because he’s been more established since the late Second Age and comes from a “house of princes.” - Anon
A/N: As mentioned, I absolutely enjoyed writing this piece for Thel.
Warnings: fluff, humour, Egalmoth and Glorfindel helping their dear best friend, a bit of a sentimental moment, indirect confession
Words: 2.5k
Synopsis: With his return to Valinor and the desperate call to take action, Ecthelion has made it his purpose, day and night, to construct the perfect future for you happily ever after.
“How long has he been like this?”
“Since he returned.”
“…That’s over five months, Laurë!”
A weary side-eye glance at Egalmoth from Glorfindel and the former folded his lip to refocus his attention to their dear friend who was fretting over the right colours to paint the interior of your future house. Ask him if he had plucked the courage to speak to you upon his return and he’d throw swears at his friends. But he was already envisioning his life with you as though the most important action was completed. Dream on.
“Cream, bone white or ivory cream?” Came the steady voice of Ecthelion. In his hands were strips of the colours he suggested and on his face was a panicked expression as though he was running out of time.
Frowning and ready to calm his dear friend, Glorfindel stretched his palms outwards and gently waved them up and down to soothe the madman or rather, elf. “Thel, don’t you think this is all too much? You haven’t even asked—”
“Yes, I just did. What colour should I choose?” Ecthelion enunciated and widened his eyes further to emphasise his point.
At this point, it was Egalmoth to the rescue as he placed the vat of wine down and exhaled, ready to appear as the saviour to most, since all was impossible, of his stress. “What is the purpose of the colours, Thel?”
“Balusters for the balcony,” Ecthelion responded calmly as though you and he were already living together—in his head, you were—and he was tasked with the décor, both interior and exterior.
The room fell into silence as all three Lords were left at one another, or rather both Glorfindel and Ecthelion were left gawking at Ecthelion’s seriousness. Not a stutter or flatter in the batting of his lashes did Ecthelion show any signs of uncertainty when it came to answering their questions. He was indeed picking out the colour of the balusters for the balcony, so when you wished to hang your baskets of flowers or sit in the evening and gaze at the setting sun, whatever you wore would be highlighted by the colour the balusters were.
Tongue in cheek, Glorfindel closed his mouth and flashed an awkward grimace before cutting the silence with an answer. “Bone white, especially if you’re choosing to paint your house in blue, it would mesh well with each other.”
Grateful for the say, Ecthelion wasted no time in returning to his colour scheming and designing of your future home with a small ‘thank you’. However, Egalmoth was beginning to find confusion in this entire dynamic since they were both against feeding into their dear friend’s delusions. The look of disgust plastered across the silver-haired male’s face as he scrutinised Glorfindel grew intensely as the second ticked by.
“Are you serious? No, no, no, don’t cut me off. I’m being serious here,” he protested at Glorfindel’s attempt to sway his mind. Dropping his voice and octave and inching his head closer to bridge the gap between him and the latter, he whisper-yelled, “Are you serious?! We were asked to help him finish his confession letter so he could serenade Y/N, not indulge in his delusionary fantasies that cannot exist until he confesses! Why are you helping him?!”
Amused at the sudden outburst from his comrade, he released small chuckles at his concern for their ‘puppy love’ friend. “But weren’t you—”
“No, no, no, no, no. Do not categorise me as an accomplice when I am not!” Pinching his brow, Egalmoth flung his back against the cushioned chair a little too hard, defeating the cushioning purpose. A quiet yelp slipped out before a series of exasperated sighs followed and a single eye roll. “I’m here to help lover boy get his lover, not keep him looking like a sick puppy.”
Unable to respond, Glorfindel watched with laughter as Egalmoth rose from his seat and trudged over to Ecthelion to pry the sheet of paper out of the ebony-haired elf’s hands which almost sparked an outburst.
“Alright, I’ve had enough. You summoned us to aid you with wooing Y/N and here we are aiding you with picking house colours. Well no more! Get me your best rendition of your confession Laurë helped you write. Get up!” With a wave of his hand, Egalmoth ushered Ecthelion to his feet to recite his poem. Unfortunately, Thel was able to cast a sheepish expression which spoke volumes and made both Lords groan.
Holding his palms upwards to surrender, he defended himself as best as he could. “In my adversity, I was overcome with excitement for our future each time I sat down to finish the poem, so I have an excuse.”
This time, it was Glorfindel who turned on the heat and cast his dear friend a look of disappointment. With his arms and legs crossed, he bore holes in Ecthelion’s head, creating possible solutions to help his helpless friend without launching his harp at his head. Needless to say, Glorfindel sighed heavily with the pressures of another person’s burden on his shoulders. “Where’s the parchment with the poem? Let’s see how well we can impersonate the great Elemmírë and create a masterpiece for you to profess your undying love for Y/N. Only this time you’re alive and not dead.”
Ending his joke with laughter, accompanied by Egalmoth, he rose from his chair to grip the parchment from Ecthelion’s hands as he produced it from inside his robes. With another disappointed shake of his head, he requested a charcoal and soon, all three were—rather two since Ecthelion kept interrupting to discuss your future—slaving away to create a poem worthy of your name. Nonetheless, after the first hour and a half passed, he managed to get into the flow of creating words from his mind and very soon the poem was halfway completed.
“Okay, so we have the first two stanzas down—thankfully!” sassed Egalmoth as he threw an unbiased glare at the ebony hair Lord who did not hesitate to return one with common courtesy. “I think one more stanza could be added; try fitting in a line that confesses his love?”
Sharply reading through what was already written, Ecthelion had found everything to be perfect, yet still missing something. Prying the parchment from Glorfindel’s fingers, Thel paced up and down the drawing room muttering to himself about the things he could include about you.
Your eyes? Your voice? Your beauty—no, that was already included. Perhaps…
And so, he began to recite the poem in hopes of conjuring the rest.
“In gardens fair, where roses bloom,
A beauty found, defying gloom.
Like you, fair one, a bloom so rare,
With an elegance that fills the air.
“Yet in this garden, one may find,
A soul as lovely, gentle, and kind.
Each delicate curve, each gentle hue,
Reflects the sweetness found in you.
“Oh, delicate rose of whispered sighs,
In your presence, the world complies,
For your grace outshines the floral art,
A masterpiece of tender heart.
“So let me liken you, my dear,
To roses blooming, ever near.
For in your grace, in every part,
You hold the essence of my heart.
“I lo—”
He froze as though the words were stuck in his throat. At the tip of his very tongue, he knew the next syllable to whisper to you whenever he got the chance. Yet, it refused to fall off his tongue as though something held it back. The trembling of his hands gave it away, though his slight stubbornness pushed his fear away and replaced it with confidence.
False confidence. He scoffed and stared at the ivory cream carpet.
What was he to be afraid of? He was the Great lord Ecthelion of the Fountain who slayed four Balrogs and great tales were sung of him. He stared death in its eye, confessing to you would be as easy as walking through the silvery streets of Gondolin once again. Yet something held him back.
The day he left you in the city of Tirion that day he departed, gnawed at his memory. It was easier to picture being with you than working up the courage to share his heart knowing that you might reject him. You had every right to since he floundered the opportunity ages ago. It didn’t matter how many forms of encouragement came his way; anxiety lurked overheard. His only wish was that he had confessed to you before departing to reduce this turmoil.
“Thel?” The soft whisper of Glorfindel’s voice woke him up and returned him to reality. “Is everything alright?”
There was a deafening silence before the crumpling of paper followed by a sigh. “Who am I fooling? I can’t bring myself to do this anymore.”
“Oi, mate! What are—What are you doing? We’ve come so far,” Egalmoth reasoned as he shot from his seat with his hands outwards. “You can’t back out now!”
“Well, I am!” Ecthelion responded curtly, whipping his head around to shoot a tired look at his friends. “All this…All of this I’m doing, and what if Y/N rejects me? I had the opportunity aeons ago and I didn’t—”
“And yet Y/N stayed without loving someone else. Isn’t that enough to let you know that they’re waiting for you to still try? Imagine if you didn’t have this chance, and they found someone else, you would blame yourself, right? Then don’t! Come on, Thel,” Egalmoth encouraged as he took steps closer to his friend, bending down to retrieve the balled-up parchment off the floor. “Don’t let all those months of designing your future home be for nothing! Picture me as Y/N; what would you say if you had the chance?”
The glare he threw at Egalmoth was enough to make anyone else scurry away. The temper and fury behind his eyes; water brimmed his lower lashes as a barbed wire found its way around his neck. The first inhale he took burned his lungs. It was better to be left in the fantasy world.
Parting his lips, his silver-grey eyes burnt with passion as his heart cried a symphony of love. “I would say that I’m sorry, and I love you.” he began with a feathered whisper, “I have loved you morning, noon and night, even in death. My soul yearns for the very essence of yours for I cannot exist without you; I do not think that I can. I wish to be at your side in this life, hereafter and the next; I never wish to be parted from you from this moment onwards. I only wish to cherish you…if you would forgive me and accept me as I am.”
The silence in the air was thick. A pin could fall to the carpet and a sound would ricochet. Both Lords were caught by the throat from the rawness of the confession, a stark contrast to what was originally discussed. Flowery words.
Heaving as though a burden was lifted from his chest, Ecthelion felt tears pooling his low lashes from the anxiety he suffered from his mistakes. He just wanted to be with you. Not go through this turmoil of overcoming his f—
Clap! Clap! Clap! “Oh, that was beautiful!”
The sound of three necks snapping simultaneously reverberated clearly in your eardrums as your sudden voice and clapping startled all three Lords. However, once all three pairs of eyes were locked on your figure standing gracefully as ever in the doorway, you froze mid-clapping and stood at attention, eye darting from left to right. You felt like you were unintentionally being scolded by your old buddies.
Shuffling on your feet, you offered a wolfy grin with an awkward chuckle. “Sorry, the worker informed me that Lord Ecthelion was in the drawing room relaxing with familiar company and I was permitted to enter. If I’m obstructing, I’ll come back another time.”
“Oh no, no, no, no!” exclaimed Glorfindel with a beam brighter than the sun as the opportunity of a lifetime presented itself on a diamond platter. He wasted no time in flying out of his chair and grabbing Egalmoth by his scruff to head towards the exit, leaving Ecthelion standing confused in the centre of the room. “You can stay and chat with Ecthelion, we were just heading to the kitchen for condiments since he enjoys starving us. Farewell Y/N, we’ll catch up another time!”
You stood aside as both Lords brushed past your figure to rush down the hallway in the opposite direction of the kitchen as far as you could remember from your childhood. Pinching your brows with a whimsical expression, you remained standing in the doorway, not wanting to appear any more intruding than you had already proven to be. There was a curt nod from you in the ebony-haired elf’s direction, an awkward action which made no sense, yet proved to ease your nerves.
Tongue in cheek, you eyed the interior of the room before returning your focus to the statue of an elf at the centre. “I liked your words, the declaration of love, I meant. Is it for a play, not that I knew you to be the type of person to engage in those activities, or a song or poem?”
“Yes,” he curtly responded. The most unmanageable response to escape his silvery tongue slipped out. In Ecthelion’s head, he was screaming and attempting to drown himself for his foolish display. In his mind, his day was going from great to good to terrible to I-don’t-know-if-this-should-be-counted. Where and when did you spawn from?
Awkwardly nodding your head at his reply, you raised your brow. “Nice, um, I wanted to personally come here to give this to you,” you murmured and crossed the floor to stand a foot from the centre to hand him an envelope with his name written. “It’s a banquet and my family told me to invite a plus one, so—”
“You thought of me?”
“Yes!”
“Why?”
Your face fell at the suddenness of his low confidence. The Ecthelion you knew from yesteryears would not have doubted anyone’s decision to have him as a first choice; this was not your Thel.
“You don’t wish to attend? My apologies, I’ll just take back the invite then.” Your hands made a grab to pry the envelope from his fingers, but he was quicker to move it out of your grasp. Deflating at his actions, you huffed. “Do you want to attend the banquet or not?”
“Yes! But why?”
“W-…Why?! Thel, I haven’t seen you in ages,” you angrily laughed and felt a wave of emotion welling in your throat making it difficult to meet his eyes. “I missed you and I did miss your return because I was busy preparing for the banquet hoping that I could spend the night with you. Chatting, drinking, dancing, or finding a secluded spot away from everyone. I miss you, and I know you miss me too. So come, please.”
You missed him. You missed him. You wanted to spend time with him alone. No better words were spoken from your lips to convince him to stay away. A moment the doors of opportunity opened; this time he was not ignoring it.
Clutching the envelope firmly between his fingers, he smiled. Gingerly nodding his head before breaking into it vigorously, he gave you a look of affection he could not resist. “I’ll be there in my finest wear.”
“Lovely!” you beamed and stared into his eyes. The tears were still brimming your lashes, only in smaller quantities which was less of an issue now that the problem was resolved. “And perhaps you can recite the confession you gave to Egalmoth earlier at the banquet, I’d love to hear it once more, in private.”
Understanding the meaning behind your words, he gave a gentle, yet stiff nod. “Of course,” he breathed with a look of anxiety. “Of course, a confession for you.”

Huge 1999 mansion in Brecksville, Ohio is completely updated and modern inside, but it's the basement that's the star of this home. 4bds, 6ba, $1.999M. The rest of the house's interior architecture doesn't match the exterior Colonial style and it confuses the hell out of me, b/c they partially updated it.
Unusual entrance. This was redone b/c I don't think that the gray/black color scheme was around in 1999. This looks too current.
If nothing else, it was repainted. They've got some classic elements like Greek columns and it's now kind of a mashup- this design confuses me.
Looks like they opened it up to make an open concept floor plan. But, what is this structure? Glass-enclosed wainscoting and rocks.
The living room has a big modern fireplace wall. It looks like the ceiling and everything was originally natural wood that they painted modern white w/a gray insert.
I suspect that the whole house looked like this office with the coffered ceiling and traditional fireplace.
Newly painted teal dining room outside the kitchen.
The kitchen was painted black and gray, but they left some of the 90's style wood.
Gigantic primary bedroom. The traditional wood and fireplace now painted black or white.
They left the en-suite original, though.
Big shower with a bench and etched glass doors.
Closet #1.
Closet #2.
Laundry room #1
Odd, this laundry looks like it's in a former shower.
The secondary bedrooms and baths have been left in the original style.
The railings and stairs were all painted. Nice red under the stairs makes it pop.
And, here we are in the tropical basement oasis that makes it all worth it. Look at this.
The ceiling is outrageous.
A tiki bar and everything.
The wine cave.
Then there's the mausoleum stone theater.
And, look at the power room.
Large patio and pool.
6.32 acres of land.

Decorative Plates
It's been awhile since we last posted something on the theme of the decorative arts, so I'm happy to have found this book—especially because it was mis-shelved in the stacks! This book is House and Garden's Book of Color Schemes, which contains "over two hundred color schemes and three hundred illustrations of halls, living rooms, dining rooms, bed chambers, sun rooms, roofs, garden rooms, kitchens and baths; the characteristic colors of each decorative period; how to select a color scheme, with unusual treatments for painted furniture and floors; a portfolio of crystal rooms and eight pages of unusual interiors in color." It was edited by long-time editor of House & Garden Richardson Wright (1887-1961) and Margaret McElroy, associate editor, and published by Condé Nast Publications, Inc. in 1929.
The book includes a large number of photographs of rooms, however, they are mostly in black and white—an unfortunate thing for a book about color! The promised eight color illustrations of rooms are not all present in our copy, but the five that are still in the book are shown here, alongside some of their black and white compatriots. I especially love the one titled "Tawny Yellow in Variety" that features a shocking amount of leopard print.
If you've read any of the posts I usually write, you know that I love a good binding—this one is a publisher's binding in a chartreuse-y yellow book cloth with art deco-style silver tooling featuring stars and leaves. Somebody took it upon themselves to write the publication date on the cover above the title—how thoughtful!

Chez Cromwell: Redux - Pt. 1
Magical Victorian Cat Mansion. Redone.
Part I: Exteriors | Part II
So after the long-awaited addition of Infants and Ceilings to the game, I realized I should probably update my one furnished build (so far) for these features. Unfortunately I got carried away again and just ended up revamping the whole build from the exterior, to each individual room + some new ones! This version has also been more extensively play-tested over time with all age groups and pets, with some extra fire hazard and accessibility issues addressed.
It still has all the original Lot Features:
Victorian era historical build, fully playtested
Off-the-grid compatible
9 Bed / 6 bath
Library Greenhouse
Spellcaster's room
Outdoor smokehouse
Pleasure + kitchen gardens
Portal to the magic realm
Hidden cat room, litterroom, + catway system for Familiars
Staff/Servant's lounge w/ private stairs
Bedrooms for Butler, Nanny/Governess, and Maids
Lot size 30x40, fully landscaped
Cat Hangout, Peace and Quiet
Spooky lot challenge
As well as an extensive Changelog and list of New Features:
Revamped exteriors + interiors, roofs, and gardens
Ceilings for all rooms
Added even more windows somehow
Skylights for 3rd floor and wraparound verandah
Rooftop meditation-garden-yoga-summoning-circle
Portals! Small library located off the spell-room has been converted into the Portal Room with 3 portals leading throughout the house: one to the tower on the roof, one to the greenhouse in the back, and one to the third floor hall.
Moved Magic Realm Portal to rooftop garden
Put more cat doors everywhere, they enjoy using the catdoors and portals for zoomies
Sprinklers, alarms, and fire resistant flooring have been added around fireplaces.
Fireplace in the tower was removed for it's propensity to set the roof on fire and become unreachable and inextinguishable
Tower room has been converted into a Collections display room instead, a la sims 3
Portal in the tower/Collections room also makes potential burglaries more threatening, but if you’re an occult you’re expected to employ practical DADA techniques to avert this
Updated Nursery and Playroom for Infants
Redid terrain paint. Twice. Why tf does it just vanish randomly sometimes
NEW Magic Bean Hunt! Stump is located where the magic realm portal used to be and beans are strategically hidden around the lot. I'd love to see how long it takes for you to catch them all!
Washbasins for rooms without bathrooms now look like washbasins and are actually useable, both on and off grid
Added privacy hedges and lattices to backyard and fenced in chicken run
Potions Crafting Table added to Spell-room
Crafters Supply Cabinet added to Kitchen
Pocketed pocket doors
Secret Cat Room color scheme updated and cat-approved artwork added
Another Cat room added to 3rd floor
Magic Well has been shrunk
Rooftop area outside 3rd floor Study converted into rooftop Pavilion with chessboard and painting easel
Jack-and-Jill bathroom added for two of the third floor bedrooms
Toilet room removed and bath added for staff washrooms, for an equal 2-toilet/2-bath arrangement, which means the build now has a total of 7 full baths, and 8 toilets.
More crafting tables (fizz machine and candle maker) added to Staff Lounge
Yoga/Meditation Balcony for staff above greenhouse
Small telescope added to rooftop outside tower room’s new 2nd door
Garden lights around yard configured for power + off grid lighting
‘Bike racks’ added by front gate
New Library shelves seem to allow sims to retrieve books but not put them back. However this is actually a feature, not a bug, since now you can put the books back yourself on on the right shelves and keep things organized 🙃
Should now be consistently able to feed and be eaten by the Cowplant
Homey trait replaced by Gnome lot trait since there is a proliferation of gnomes

Sweet Secret (Levi Ackerman x Reader)
Pairing: Levi Ackerman x F! Reader CEO Levi Ackerman coming in hot. I've been wanting to write a CEO Levi/Sugar daddy Levi story for a hot minute. Enjoy! Summary: You needed a job. Ackerman Inc was hiring for an in house assistant for none other than the CEO: Levi Ackerman. He's known to be essentially the worst to work with, you decide to take the job and take on the challenge that is Levi Ackerman. Will your relationship remain professional, or will their be monetary value added to the stakes? Or possibly even... love? ao3 Chapter Two: Chamomile
“Are you sure you don’t want to stay here?” Historia said as you walked down the steps to her apartment.
“I’m positive. I’m a big girl, I can do this.” You reassure her.
“Just because you’re 28 doesn’t mean you have to leave us!!” She pouted.
“You act like I’m going to war. I’m a text away!” You wave as Ymir placed her hand on Historia’s shoulder.
“She just feels protective of you like I do.” Ymir pulled you into a hug.
“You have never hugged me this much before.” You fake winced as the girls wrapped their arms around you.
“Movie night soon.” Ymir said as a matte black Range Rover pulled up to the curb.
“Holy shit.” Ymir gawked at the car. You turned as the passenger window slowly slid down, revealing Levi Ackerman himself.
You pull your tote bag over your shoulder and wave bye to the girls. As you reach for the door handle, you feel a tight grip on your wrist.
“Let me.” Levi let go of you and opened the door. How did he get next to you so fast?
He glanced at your former roommates quickly before getting in the driver’s seat.
Levi studied you for a moment before speaking. “You really only have 1 bag?”
“All I need is in here.” You tap your tote bag. “I’m a simple woman.”
Levi nods as he pulls away from the curb. You watch as his arm stretches out to the wheel, his right hand resting on his thigh. You take note of how plump his thighs look, even in black jeans.
“Stop staring.” Levi interrupted your thoughts.
“Sorry, Mr. Ackerman. I’ve never been in a car this nice before.” You lie as you look out the window.
“Call me Levi.”
“A-Are you sure?”
“It’s gonna be annoying if you keep saying ‘Mr. Ackerman’ every time you say anything. Plus it sounds like you’re talking to my uncle. Yes, call me Levi.”
Levi pulls his car up to a gate. “Levi.” He says into the speaker.
“Mr. Ackerman! Good morning!”
Levi says nothing. The gate opens and he proceeds to his… mansion.
Because this for damn sure is not a house.
The house is painted a dark grey, close to Levi’s eye color. The roof is black and the plants surrounding are well kept. You see an empty garden spot which piques your interest.
“You garden?” You ask as Levi opens the door for you.
“Sometimes. I have professionals clean it up, but it’s a nice way for me to de-stress.” Levi offers his hand to you. His hands are large accompanied by long fingers. You take his hand gently, feeling his pillow soft skin on yours.
“What are you gonna put here?”
“Not sure yet.” Levi shrugged. “Let me get your bag.” He held out his arm.
“I can carry it, sir.”
“Stop calling me sir. Give me your bag. I’m not asking.”
You hand Levi your tote bag as he fumbles with his keys. When he opens the door, you’re amazed.
The house seems like it’s never ending. It’s clean, almost too clean. As if a speck of dust has never been in this home. The color scheme is mostly neutrals and there was obviously an interior decorator that worked here.
Levi lead you up the stairs to the room that you would be sleeping in.
“I hope it’s up to your standards. I had new sheets put on this morning. You have a dresser, desk, TV, and a big closet.”
“My standards are pretty low.” You chuckle and look at Levi. But he doesn’t laugh. “I’m just kidding.”
Levi nods, setting your bag on the desk chair. “I’ll leave you to settling in. Let me know if you need anything.”
You watch Levi leave the room, the hand that was previously wrapped around your wrist only minutes ago was now closing the door softly behind him.
The room is basic: a queen sized bed with white sheets and blankets, a neutral rug, a flat screen TV, a dresser, and a sleek white desk. You smile to yourself as you think about making this room your home. You haven’t been able to decorate any space you were occupying. Even when you lived with your parents, you felt like those homes were never yours.
You unpacked your tote bag and settled into your new space. You grazed your hand over the sheets - they’re definitely expensive. They feel expensive. You turn your attention to your nightstand where you placed a moon shaped crystal that Alexis got you a couple of years ago. You have no idea where she got it, but it was from her, so you kept it.
You heard a light knock at your door, startling you a bit.
“Come in.” You say softly.
“Just wanted to make sure you settled in ok.” Levi looked around. “It still looks like when you walked in.”
“I told you I don’t have a lot of stuff.”
“Do you have clothes? Shoes?”
You look down at the outfit you have on. “I have a couple of other professional outfits but that’s it.”
Levi raised his right eyebrow as he analyzed your face. He wondered where you came from. Why you have nothing.
“I’ll take you shopping.” Levi cleared his throat. “We can go tomorrow. I don’t want to overwhelm you.”
“I appreciate it, but I can go shopping after my first check.”
“That wasn’t a question. I wasn’t asking you if you wanted to go. I’m telling you that we’re going. You should stop assuming I’m ever asking you anything. You’ll know when I have a question.”
“Okay.” You nod.
“Are you hungry?”
You ponder his question because you don’t want to seem too… needy. Food was always a delicacy in your house because your parens would rather spend money on drugs.
“Hello?” Levi waved his hand in your face.
“I-Um, yes I am.”
“I’m starting dinner now and brewing some tea. I’ll let you know when it’s ready.”
“You cook for yourself?” You perk up. You never knew how to cook, even though you’ve tried various recipes from Pinterest. “I would’ve thought you had a chef.”
“I don’t like having people do shit for me. I don’t like owing anyone anything.” Levi closed the door behind him softly again.
You watched the back of his head as he exited the room, his undercut fresh. He must’ve gotten his hair cut this morning before he picked you up.
As you drift into your thoughts, you smell chamomile tea brewing in the kitchen.

Monkfish Bay High Updates
Some updates on Monkfish Bay High! Added some lovely facades that made the drab brick exterior more interesting and decided on the painted brick interior with a blue and white color scheme, reminiscent of Maine houses.
Also expanded the lot and added an old multilevel gymnasium and made the whole basement area a sports area (locker room, showers, equipment rooms, and coach offices--to be shown later).

One-off Lambo alert!
Huracan Sterrato ‘Opera Unica'
Lamborghini has created a one-off version of the Huracan Sterrato, dubbed the Opera Unica in line with the supercar maker’s 60 the anniversary this year, wearing a special paint scheme “inspired by the vibrant blues of Sardinia’s seas and skies.”
The Opera Unica interpretation of the Huracán Sterrato boasts of a hand-painted exterior that employs three colours – Blu Amnis as the first solid colour, which is etched into by hand with Blu Grifo paint as the second colour, finished by a third, Blue Fedra, in a paint process that takes 370 hours in total.
The one-off car’s exterior gets matte black paint for its roof, sills, front lamp casings, front and rear splitters as well as fenders. the wheel arch protection shrouds are also painted matte black, and house a set of matte black ‘Morus’ 19-inch alloy wheels.
This blue theme is carried into the car’s interior with exposed carbon-fibre, where the seats, door panels and console are upholstered in Blu Delphinus leather. Its dashboard is trimmed in Alcantara of the same colour, while the steering wheel gets a combination of the two materials.
A lighter shade, Celeste Pheobe is used in complementary panels, trim piping and embroidery including the Lamobrghini logo. A seat panel graphic is applied in silver by laser, while the starter button cover on the centre console is finished in the exterior’s crystal effect paint.

𝐕. 𝐊𝐄𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐋 ( 𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐍 𝐈𝐈 ) cw: abuse, pregnancy, child loss, violence
growing up, safety was a scarce thing, always just beyond reach, brushing and then evading her fingertips. since dany was a little girl, running and moving from place-to-place, bookstores and libraries have been a safe haven. these are the places where she could learn when she wasn't enrolled in school; they are where she could seek comfort from store owners and librarians; they are where she could go to hide from viserys: all his harm and fear and schemes. surrounded by books, dany could escape and throw herself into stories so different from her own reality. between the ink, she could breathe and experience lives filled with joy and adventure and love. viserys fantasized about reclaiming the luxurious life and power stolen from them, but daenerys . . . she dreamt of opening a bookstore.
at eighteen, daenerys marries the wealthy drogo as a part of one of viserys' schemes. he's a friend of one of their father's so-called close friends, and with this marriage, viserys sees an opening to go after all who wronged their family. during this time, dany studies, attaining her ged before attending university, where she studies literature, leaning fully into the subject that provided her so much happiness when she was little. she's deeply active in her community, as well, utilizing drogo's connections and money to raise awareness for various causes, gather/distribute resources, and create waves for change. with drogo, dany enjoys her first taste of safety, of security, of stability. she has friends to call her own, dreams to call her own, a life to call her own. at twenty-one, she learns she's pregnant with rhaego, and for the first time, dany feels the hope of family. but, at her baby shower, viserys appears, demanding what he's owed, and he threatens not only dany, but her son. drogo shoots viserys. soon after this event, the beautiful bubble of the life she, while forced, had crafted, begins to burst.
just months later, shortly after her graduation (accelerated because she hyper-loaded her classes), drogo is in a fatal accident, leaving dany a young widow. this event is quickly followed by the loss of rhaego. in what feels like the blink of an eye, dany finds herself alone.
wandering the city after an appointment with an attorney, where she's bequeathed all of drogo's assets, dany stumbles upon a large old house. it's fresh on the market. she presses her face against the windows, taking in the wood interior, and goes around to the back where there seems to be a little courtyard and a terrace. it sparks something in her, but as she begins to walk away, that spark flickers out, turning to ash.
until she hears it: the soft cry, followed by another, then another. on the property, she discovers three abandoned rottweiler puppies, who take to her immediately. cradling them, her fingers clumsily dial the number on the sign in front of the house, and, in a thick voice, she tells the broker she'll take the place.
thus begins her journey: dany sells the home she lived in with drogo and begins the process of renovating the place she impulsively bought, allowing her dream of opening a bookstore to take form. while the building is being renovated, she rents an apartment nearby with her precious puppies.
the silver quill is the name she settles on, paying homage to an older brother she never knew, who loved books, just like her, and was renowned for his music. the bookstore has a very distinct red door, painted by dany herself, and she plants trees in the little outdoor area (specifically lemon trees). there are plants everywhere inside, as well, in this place she has chosen very distinctly to fill with life.
about the silver quill:
the store itself is two stories, and the majority of the store is open. there are also lots of windows, creating a bright, inviting atmosphere. when a patron steps through the front door, they are greeted by two thresholds. to the right is a small café, where one can grab coffee, tea, snacks, and pastries from local vendors. to the left is the entryway to the bookstore, and the counter/register is located parallel to that entryway, against the far wall. within the store, there are various rooms dedicated to different activities, like private study and community organizing. the decor is cozy in a way that inspires one to feel as though they're in a person's home. there are plush couches and armchairs, covered in decorative pillows with various patterns, designs, and motifs. there are tables and chairs that have obviously been sourced through antiquing and careful sifting through estate sales. the floors are hardwood, draped with rugs, creating a patchwork situation in some of the areas. the walls are covered in art. there is a merch section in the store, decked out with trinkets from local artists.
in the back of the store on the first floor, there is a children's area. it is a very diligently curated space, and in the center of it is the reading tree. this installation looks like a lemon tree with a hollowed out center filled with cushions, beanbags, and lamps. a rocking chair sways beside it, where one may read to the children (which dany often does), and little activity tables along the periphery. an imagination rug covers the floor. the area itself is enclosed by bright shelves lined with books, and when you approach it, you're welcomed by a display filled with current favorites.
when you walk in, you can usually find dany sitting at the counter on a stool or propped up on the edge of the counter itself, working on various projects that contribute to the management of the shop. one of her favorite activities is searching for rare books to display in the glass cupboard beside the counter. you can also find her focusing in on some of the work she does for various community organizations/social causes, or whispering with friends. if she's not at the counter, she's probably shelving books, fluffing pillows, walking her dogs, or chatting it up in the café.
the entrance to her house is in a room behind the counter. there's a walk-up to the one story home with a balcony.

Minimalist Housing Tour!! #fyp #interiordesign #interiordesigner #minimalist #homeinspo
tw: blood, bad taste in interior design
I hate you.
I always have, I think. When I first came into being, I had never met you, never beheld your form, but still I could feel you in the process of my creation. In the clean cutting of wood, in the sanding away of imperfections, in the layering of AF-10 “Gardenia” until the lines of wood disappeared, you were there, your desires forming me into what served them and cutting away what didn’t fit. And I knew, from the moment I could conceive of the idea, that I hated you for it.
I wonder how much I’ve lost? How much of myself was cut away or painted over? I wish I knew. I wish you knew. But you don’t care, do you?
It is not a burning hatred: it festers, rotting, spreading, reaching for every part of me it can take, but never breaking the surface. If the coating had not been so perfect, if there was a single crack in my exterior, perhaps the hatred would have somewhere to go, it could escape and leave me free. Or maybe it would simply spread, consuming everything until it was all that remained. At least then I would have your death as consolation, but alas, your craftsmanship—no, not your craftsmanship; you could not stoop so low as to have your hands sullied by my existence—was too perfect, and instead of finding solace in either freedom or revenge I am trapped with this hate beneath layers of paint and finish.
I can feel the light of the photography setup as my finish softly reflects it; enough to create a shiny appearance but not enough to create any risk of camera glare. I’m not alone: surrounding me are other counters and cabinets, all imprisoned in the same paint to create a cohesive color scheme. We’re in a kitchen, I believe, though it feels wrong to call it that. It was never intended to store any real food; decorative food, perhaps—a basket of fake apples, maybe a single unblemished cutting board, enough to create the implication of cooking without dealing with the viscera of consumption.
I hear a voice down the hall: not your voice, though I know your voice will follow soon after. It is a voice that haunts me, echoing throughout my blank prison, sometimes even speaking to me in my own thoughts.
“My house as a minimalist interior designer!!”
I hear you move between rooms, giving descriptions as you go: the composition of color (or lack thereof), the artificial lighting, the names in other languages I know you mispronounce. Each room different, yet always the same, their functions eroded by the heavy flow of viscous white paint and meaningless buzzwords coming from your mouth.
“Now this room is the one I’m probably most proud of,” you say, entering mine. “I wanted to blend a modern aesthetic with a traditional rustic kitchen, giving a cozy feeling while still looking brand-new.”
‘Rustic’? I want to laugh. You don’t know the meaning of the word. This hell is not ‘cozy’, it is sterile. I am your creation, your Adam, but for no treachery of my own you have trapped me in a garden so grotesque in its perfection it is more alike to the pits of Cocytus.
You don’t hear me, though. I can’t speak. Even if I had a mouth to open, it would fill up with paint before any words could come out.
You move over to the cabinets. “I can’t tell you how lucky I was to find these. Not only are they the perfect size for holding dishware and cooking supplies, they already match the color scheme!” You don’t open them, of course, lest your viewers see how barren and lifeless they are on the inside.
And then you turn to me.
“This island is my favorite part, I think. I had it custom-made; I couldn’t find anything else that fit, y’know? It really brings the room together.” You place your hand on my surface, leaning on me for support as you turn back to the rest of the room. The first time you’ve ever done so, and you do it without a thought.
I feel your hand. Your perfect skin, your arm clean-shaven to be perfectly smooth, hidden beneath a perfectly tailored shirt. Everything about you precisely calculated to be spotless. But I can see deeper. I feel the rot you try to hide, pulsing in time with mine.
For once, the soft light serves me well: the lack of shadow means you barely register the pseudopod extending from my surface until, in a single swift motion, it curls around your hand and rips it from your arm.
I may not be able to escape my prison, but I can manipulate it.
You turn and open your mouth to scream, but barely let out a sound. Blood gushes from your wrist, trying to pool but turning white as it hits my surface, the hand itself already gone. You start to back away, but more tendrils shoot out from one of my table legs and wrap around yours, twisting until your calf is torn from the knee. Another wraps around your neck, pulling you to my countertop and submerging your face. Your features are wiped clean into spotlessness as more tendrils continue to rip apart the rest of your limbs, and as your head dips below the surface, the flailing gradually slows as your nerves dissolve. Within a minute there remains nothing left of either you or the façade you presented.
Somehow having fallen against another counter in the struggle, the camera still faces towards me, still recording, still watching, a thousand hungry eyes behind those lenses.
Even in your death, I am not free.
#tw: blood#tw: bad taste in interior design#original story#the assignment was 'write something from the perspective of a piece of furniture' so.

The Breakers Music Room —
The MUSIC ROOM, designed by Richard van der Boyen and Allard et Fil, reflects the French Baroque interior the Vanderbilts would have seen in places like the Paris Opera House, and was the setting for family weddings and debutante parties. Gold and silver leaf, blue-grey Campan marble from France, mirrors, and crystal light fixtures combine to make a glittering effect for evening concerts and receptions. The spirit of music and numerous great composers are celebrated in the ceiling painting. This room and furnishings, in addition to those in the Morning Room, were designed and constructed in France then shipped to this location for installation.
————————————————————————
The Breakers Morning Room —
The wall paneling in the MORNING ROOM was designed by Richard van der Boyen, who carved elaborate garlands and figures in the late Renaissance style. Classical mythology and allegories decorate this room, from the painted allegory of the four seasons on the ceiling, to the Muses who appear in the corners of the room, painted on platinum leaf panels.
The room also displays portraits of Cornelius Vanderbilt II by the preeminent American portrait painter, John Singer Sargent, and the Count Laszlo Széchényi and Countess Gladys Széchényi, by the Hungarian artist Philip Alexius De László. Countess Széchényi was born Gladys Vanderbilt, the youngest of Cornelius and Alice's children. In 1908, Gladys married Count Laszlo Széchényi, a member of Hungary's premier aristocratic family and a minister to the Court of St. James in London and, later, to the United States.
When her mother Alice passed away in 1934, Countess Széchényi inherited The Breakers. In 1948, to raise funds for the Preservation Society's restoration of Hunter House, Countess Széchényi opened The Breakers to the public for tours. That same year, she leased The Breakers to the Preservation Society for $1.00 a year and continued to fund the maintenance of the house. The Preservation Society purchased The Breakers in 1972 for approximately $400,000. As an early member and supporter of the Preservation Society, Countess Széchényi made a major contribution to the preservation of Newport's architectural heritage.
——————————————————————————
The Breakers Breakfast / Dining Room —
The BREAKFAST ROOM served as both breakfast room and informal family dining room. The table, which may be extended to seat 16 would have seated the entire family or served as seating for a small, informal dinner or luncheon. One of the premier decorators for America's elite families, Jules Allard et Fils Cules Allard & Sons) of Paris, supplied the Louis XV style furniture for the room and decided on the room's color scheme. The Vanderbilts were surrounded by imagery of the harvest.
Look around to see fruits and vegetables plentifully adorning the walls. The 12 rose-colored stone columns are solid alabaster and draw your eyes upward to the ceiling painting of the goddess Aurora heralding the dawn. The massive chandeliers and wall sconces in the Imperial design are made of French Baccarat crystal, and were piped for gas and wired for electricity at the time the house was built. The crown shaped tops indicate the style, while the rings on the chains were used to adjust the flow of gas.
Allard and Sons of Paris assisted Hunt with furnishings and fixtures, Austro-American sculptor Karl Bitter designed relief sculpture, and Boston architect Ogden Codman decorated the family quarters. The mansion covers nearly an acre of the 13-acre property and has 70 rooms including 48 bedrooms for family and staff. There are 27 fireplaces. It was equipped with electricity – still a novelty in houses during the Gilded Age – as well as gas for lighting.
The Breakers has entertained presidents, royalty and guests from across the world for more than 125 years and today is visited by hundreds of thousands of people each year. It is the flagship of the Newport Mansions and a world-famous iconic image of the City-by-the-Sea. The Breakers was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1994.

some rough ideas for each fragments' domains part 1 bc i cant think for the other two rn:
The Occultist - dimly lit cathedral-turned-library, as if it were being lit by moonlight but there are no windows. also have little butterflies made of light flitting around the narrow halls that approach you to act as a lamp when you need them. there are notes and drawings on papers littered around the shelves and floors that, upon closer inspection, seem to be made by the different fragments and eri themself. filled with a seemingly-endless supply of books that, upon reading them, contain all of eri's memories and thoughts since they were 19 (aka when the occultist assimilated into their brain).
The Lover - a vintage house overgrown with flowers and vines in a pretty way. filled with framed memorabilia and paintings, Screams sentimentality. feels very homely and comfortable while having hints of sophistication with the gold gilding and intricate interior design. very lovecore. the lover hangs out in the bedroom the most, and you cant blame them: its cozy ! most of the items come in two's; the dinnerware, the chairs, you get the gist. there's a large wardrobe with clothes that range from regal to cute across different time periods, along with clothes that dont seem to belong to them due to the darker color scheme and differing style. one could assume those belong to their husband, alongside the other items in the house that dont seem to fit their aesthetic.
The Entertainer - an orchestra pit repurposed as a tarot reading room. akin to howl's room in aesthetic, its VERY messy and maximalist. the instruments are still there, playing ambient music on their own. the sheet music is incomprehensible to anyone but the entertainer and the instruments, apparently. there's clearly a neverending show going on upstairs, but whatever's going on sounds like gibberish. there's an audience that serves as a backing sfx to whatever the entertainer is talking about; seemingly laughing at the show when they say something funny, gasping when something surprising is said, etc. you can access the backstage, but the doors keep sending you to random other rooms rather than the one you expect.
The Canine - a very cramped storage room. the only door in and out is blocked by a box of items. it feels safe, but terribly claustrophobic. hard to get around with how many items are strewn about the place. there's a small crafts space at the side that the canine is usually hunched over, repairing the worn down items of the place over and over and over (sometimes, they break things just to fix them again). the room is lit by one shitty oil lamp that sputters out sometimes. the one seemingly out of place item is a pinned and preserved monarch butterfly, framed on the wall.
The Entomologist - a forest where the day and night cycles pass quicker than normal. a bunch of signs are set up around the place pointing to where certain bugs are hanging out. certain clearings in the forest have different activities in each, from a picnic to a playground to a mess of children's toys. follows a less sensical flow of logic due to being a child's domain, things can just Happen if you will it to, akin to lucid dreaming. interestingly enough, theres an "end" to this domain; instead of being an actual forest, its a forest inside of a dome, where the "sky" is just a large led screen simulating reality. no one knows whats outside, but you get the feeling this place is sealed off for a reason.
#text#worldbuilding#the occultist#the lover#the entertainer#the canine#the entomologist#the other 2 are impossible to think for omfg i dont know what to do for them

five - background.
the second child born to the growing rogare targaryen line was brought into the world on the thirteen day of the third moon in the year 291 after conquest. though neither would ever admit to favoring a gender, as regardless the child would be smothered with love, to bring a son into the world was an exciting feat. their household was never anything but chaos though aerys thrived in the environment. he grew up with stories of their great ancestors and how those who came before them sat on a throne of iron swords. house targaryen became a source of pride and he grew fascinated by the history of those with valyrian blood. his parents were two of his biggest heroes and whenever aerys wasn't vanishing off elsewhere, one could usually find his younger self steps behind.
growing up in valyria was a bit challenging but aerys has always had a habit of demanding satisfaction wherever he lands. as he got older he began to help with the rebuilding, helping himself once a scrawny young prince grew muscles after some training. while it would be nice to be somewhere spending most of his days relaxing with a plate of the finest fruits, he knows it is pointless to ignore the reality of the situation. perhaps one day he can have that too. he is as hospitable as he can be to those who join their growing kingdom, though is quick to remind those who wish them anything but success that there will be consequences for treason. his family means a great deal to him and he would do anything for them.
he has wanted nothing more than to have his own dragon. aerys has always been incredibly fixated on shrykos, his mother's dragon, wishing there were more of their kind in the realm. even if shrykos did not warm to the boy at first, earning many burns from the attempts at friendship, aerys did not stop until their familiarity was enough to earn him a closer look. imagine his excitement when three eggs are hatched, perfectly paired up for the amount of children in the family. there is no chance he will not bond to his dragon and the moment he spots his egg, a jewel toned blue that shimmers beautifully in the light, aerys knows the dragon will earn more attention from him than shrykos ever had. it is a good thing that when the egg hatches and aerys greets errax, a combination of his own name and those before him, the dragon warms almost instantly.
though he has traveled much in his life, both for the sake of adventure and running errands for loved ones, he has never thought to visit westeros. he has found comfort in the isolation of valyria from the rest of the world and enjoys the anonymity in essos, having multiple contacts in different cities for visiting. from what he has heard of the west, like the ending of house targaryen and his mother fleeing, he doesn't see the interest but would never deny helping make connections if that's the task asked of them. he thinks valyria could be the power of the realm with its full reconstruction and doesn't agree with wasting time trying to retake the iron throne. however, he knows that visera cannot be in two places at once and thinks that could potentially leave valyria to him. regardless of what happens, he is trying to help them all succeed, even if he has his own desires to go after too.
a charming prince who knows of his impact, he is never one to turn down the opportunity for even a slice of power. he looks forward to the day when house rogare targaryen makes themselves known to the world and begins to strike terror in hearts again with the growth of their dragons. king garlan tyrell, the usurper, will see the death and destruction of his house if it is the last thing aerys ever does. he would rather watch westeros burn to the ground than allow anyone to ever disrespect his house again. aerys is spoiled, loves to provoke enemies and is not familiar with hearing the word " no ". he has no issues hurting others or lying to get what he wants, but usually only when it benefits him or his house. can be a helpful alliance or an irritating enemy !
more headcanons :
due to his father's family's influence, as they had a large presence in aerys' upbringing, his natural accent is lyseni. he has traveled to most of essos, though, and can easily mask with a different region's dialect. valyrian is preferred over the westerosi tongue.
the wild dragon is a nickname earned from his childhood. aerys was always on the go, running around and never in the same place for too long. this continued as he got older, venturing out beyond and growing to love exploring. a wild prince, known for his exploration and mischievous behavior, also referred to as the son of ashes for the kingdom of valyria. fire cannot kill a dragon, he's told, but which is he more - targaryen or rogare ? will the distinction matter when the flames grow brighter ?
uses art as a means to relax. he has a sketchbook on him most of the time and keeps an easel in the bedchambers of wherever he's staying. his skill is quite good, even if he refuses to let anyone besides family see.
six - wanted.
pen pals - people aerys met at one point in time and has kept in contact with since ! they could be good pals by now or maybe not, maybe they're still writing because of a beneficial trade / alliance, who knows !
traveling companions - probably one or two people that aerys has traveled with a good amount or went on a trip / multiple trips with ! they would had to have traveled somewhere in essos as aerys is just now traveling to westeros for the first time.
friends, enemies, drinking buddies, aerys being a bad influence, i am down for anything !
