When River Song says that the TARDIS makes the trademark noise because the Doctor leaves the parking brake on, it implies one of two possibilities:

1. The writer hasn't watched any Classic Who, and was unaware every single TARDIS we see - including the Master's and a Timelord who's name I forget whose BODY makes the noise as he's popping in to talk to the Doctor - makes that trademark noise

2. The writer has seen Classic Who and all timelords as a collective drive their TARDISes with the parking brake on because they like the noise, which says some hilarious things about Time Lord society

there was a room in the old family farmhouse that was technically my uncle’s office but we just called it ‘the clown room’ because it was decorated floor to ceiling with clownery. clown paintings and posters. piles of clown magazines. clown statues. and even worse is the house was burnt down at one point and when they finished fixing it up they put the clown room back together with the same decorations, now all at least somewhat damaged in the fire, the worst of which were the horrific partially melted clown statues

#real ‘we dont have a kid take our clown statue and get out’ type of family #the fire was started by a disgruntled handyman who broke into a safe stole the family jewels and burnt down the farm on his way out #then he moved in next door to one of my cousins #and put our aunt’s horse trailer (which he had also stolen lol)#for sale in his front yard lmao #self #text
