Though deep down, he actually enjoyed it when you flirted with him..

One day you and him are having a discussion on work related things, and even during that you're throwing in some little flirts and it obviously is bugging Kiji as he's trying to be serious

"Can you please focus on the discussion at hand, Y/N?!"

You just smirk and poke him in the shoulder, saying the famous phrase. His eyes widen and he's clearly flustered

He grunts and grabs your chin, furrowing his brows as he growls out, voice low and almost menacing,

Honey seemed to hate you as much as he hated Uno, always getting grouchy and his hair pointing out arrows whenever you so little as looked at him

If it's okay could you do another one, but different, Y/N's animal companion is a Pheasant (and its personality similar to Kiji).

Supervisor Kiji, and Guards and Inmates from building 3. Can be romatic/platonic

-Your partner, as he wasn’t your pet, a Japanese Green Pheasent named Emerald, was perched on your shoulder, wearing a mini guard hat, that you made for him, as you were walking down the halls of Building 3, holding a stack of paperwork that you had to deliver to your supervisor, Kiji.

-Emerald was your ‘watch dog’ to put it simply, watching all around you as you were a bit oblivious at times, not paying attention to where you were going.

-Kiji, waiting for your reports, heard you let out a yelp down the hall, followed by a crash before Emerald started squawking while you were comically crying.

-Kiji sighed softly, you were really too much sometimes as he stood, rushing out of his office to see Emerald before you, squawking like he was scolding you as you were picking up the paperwork, sniffling softly.

-He came over to you both, “Did you trip on that first step again?” you couldn’t lie to him, seeing the bandaged lump on your head, again, as you looked like a kicked puppy, “Yes~~”

-He pinched the bridge between his eyes, looking exasperated as both him and Emerald started scolding you, in their own ways, as they led you back to the office. Kiji attended to your wounds, “You need to take care of yourself Y/N- if your lovely skin gets damaged it will lower your stunning beauty!”

-You apologized to him, but he wasn’t really upset with you, as you always seemed to mis that first step leading down into his office.

-Emerald was looking at himself in Kiji’s floor length mirror, posing dramatically, acting so much like Kiji, who openly welcomed it, finding it endearing as your supervisor stood, giving you a small pat on your head before he took the paperwork from you.

-You took Honey and Trois to their doctor’s appointment, the two of them holding your hands, which you allowed since they behaved so well for you, as Emerald was on your head, still nagging at you while you looked like a kicked puppy, which the two inmates thought was rather cute.

-Trois was sympathetic to you, “Did you fall on that first step again?” you nodded, pouting only slightly as the two inmates hugged you in a sandwich hug, lamenting their bad luck, which did make you feel a bit better.

-Despite being spacy and kind of clumsy, you had the four of them, Honey, Trois, Kiji, and Emerald all looking out for you, and you couldn’t help but smile, feeling so cared for.

To be honest, Hajime didn't even deserve to be here

He was just minding his business when all of a sudden, some drunk guy came to him and punched him

And that's how he somehow ended up here, in Nanba

Nanba as itself was nice, but the inmates as well as the guards there were a bit stupid

For example there was one building, where apparently two "handsome" guards, aka Trois and Honey, went to events for who was the most pretty person, along with their "handsome" inmate, Kiji Mitsuba

why were there even events for handsome prisoners and guards??

Or when he saw a blue haired woman who glared at him?

Hajime always shuddered when he thought about her glare.

Then there was his old friend, Mitsuru Hitokoe who was way too loud, and even though Hajime held him somwhat dear to him, he was glad he didn't have to share a cell with him.

but when looking at his own guards?

No thanks

Hajime didn't like this. One. Bit.

Why couldn't he just chill in his own cell? He could've been more productive. He'd even share a cell with the monkey inmate, Samon Gokuu. At least he could fight against him...

But here? In cell 13?

Nah, everything was shit.

He had to share his precious cell with the crybaby Seitaro Tanabata, who got bullied by the four guards who were supervising this building. The other cellmate was Yamato Godai, who was eerily fond of training his body and tormented his it with a sunshine face.

Yeah, Hajime didn't get why or how these two guys could end up doing a crime that they'd end up here in Nanba, but oh well.

"Hajime~!", Uno's voice echoed, and Hajime 'Tsk!'ed only at the approaching footsteps of the young guard. "Did ya miss us~?"

"Hell no. Now leave me alone.", he only grumbled, facing the door with his back.

Uno only chuckled before he started speaking again. "A special inmate would like to speak to youuuuu!"

Hajime only had a vague idea of who it might be.

Samon? Maybe. Or that dog like guy...what was his name?

Yakuza...yokai...Ah! Yozakura Kenshirou!

"Who is it?", he only asked impatiently before he got dragged out. Uno was humming happily ahead while Hajime was thinking of a way to escape or at least go back to his cell, but Uno's grip was terrifyingly strong.

"Say...where's the rest of you? You know, Jyugo, Nico and Rock?"

"They are speaking to her. That's why I'm dragging you there as well, you know? To be honest, it should've been one of the others to take you there. She was so pretty!"

All Hajime heard was Uno's annoyingly high pitched voice as the guard described the girl to him. Hajime had a feeling that he knew that girl all too well.

When they finally arrived the cell, tick marks appeared on Hajime's temple and neck.

"What the hell are you doing here?!", the inmate yelled, but got hit by Rock.

"Hello Hajime!", the person on the other end of the visiting room greeted.

The guards looked back and forth between the blonde and the bald one.

"So what gives? You said you didn't have a girlfriend Haji-"

"Don't change the subject!", the inmate yelled.

"That's his girl? Ah, there's no way.", Rock said.

"Out of his league.", Uno stated.

"You catch her at a low point?", Nico asked.

"You freaking punks-", Hajime started, but got interrupted by the blonde.

"Big brother, who are all these boys?", the relative asked, and the guards repeated the words "big brother" in an asking manner.

"Oh so are these your friends?"

"Like hell they are!"

The blonde haired person then looked at the guards with a smile. "Everyone, please take care of my brother."

and they answered with blushing faces. "Sure~!"

However, Jyugo had a question. "What's the deal Hajime? You never told us you had a sister."

Undo chimed in, again with his high pitched voice. "It's also kinda rude that you haven't untroduced us yet!"

"Her dress is adorable!", Nico complimented the blonde.

"Almost as cute as her.", Rock said while averting his eyes.

"He's my brother.", Hajime only said.

"Huh?"

"This is my little bro-ther.", Hajime pronounced.

His brother smiled. "Hitoshi Sugoroku."

And then the guards lost it. They all screamed and Uno asked Jyugo something weird. "You said you liked boys too, right, Jyugo?!"

And he just nodded. "Yep, I did."

Hajime just couldn't with these idiot guards.

Nanbaka Idol AU

I know I posted these a long time ago, but I can't find the old post and @enemyoflactose asked to see my old idol sketches (2017). The outfits are all from either B-Project or UtaPri. I really cannot draw hands.

I organized them into sub units like in B-Project.

omfg I just realized how little honey and trois wanted anything to do with the plot. And yet every arc they are dragged into the action against their will.

New Year's Eve? They got assigned by chance. Building Five fiasco?? Sent under duress by their supervisor. Building Six incident??? Here for training workshop, not warned about the pre-planned nonsense. Building One??? Bitch they're there, too!!

Well, at least it was made clear that they were NOT in the second new year festival. RIGHT???

Could you write something, you’re allowed to choose the format, of Namba going through a zombie apocalypse?

Of course I can! Thank you for sending this in, since I mentioned having a lot of ideas for this that I never thought I'd get the chance to rant about and now I can! I hope you'll all enjoy the ranting!

So, the zombie apocalypse comes to Nanba Prison. There's a couple ways I could see it happening. One way it could go is that a visitor, or even one of the prison staff or guards, could unknowingly have gotten infected on the mainland. Maybe they had a random and bizarre experience with someone already zombified and they blamed the encounter on someone just being high on bath salts. Maybe the food they ate carried the virus needed to create zombies. Whatever way it happened, they unwittingly got exposed to whatever makes people turn into zombies and then, when they did get onto the island, the virus really took hold and they went full zombie and started attacking. While that initial zombie was probably put down and put down relatively quickly, they managed to do some damage and spread the virus to at least a couple more people, who then spread it to a couple more before they could be killed and so on and so forth until it's getting more and more difficult to keep up with putting them out of their misery.

Another way it could happen? It could definitely be an experiment the Otogi's were working on together that went terribly, terribly wrong. I think I prefer the first one a little better, just because in this kind of scenario, the Otogi's would either become some of the first to go zombie or just straight up get killed and that really puts Nanba in a real tight spot as to whether anyone survives because they really need their healers and researchers.

Now, in a way, Nanba is the perfect place for the zombie apocalypse to really break out. It's not only inescapable but it's pretty impenetrable, not only with the high walls and security feature but by the simple fact that it is an island. There's only one way on, one way off really. I think that's something that was banked upon during the first initial outbreak, when things were getting bad but still seemed to be under control. Momo ordered all forms of transportation to the island to cease temporarily but overall, the guards figured their strength and diligence alone could prevent it from spreading.

When things started to spin and the zombies started getting more plentiful in number, too much to easily control and take down, Nanba goes into full lockdown mode. Each building is quarantined, much like how we saw Building 5 during the Enki arc. Travel between different buildings is forbidden and the guards are given the orders. Squash this zombie uprising, protect your prisoners, and prevent any prisoners from trying to escape.

In headquarters, Momoko is in charge, overseeing everything, and really tries to keep a handle on the situation. She plans and oversees this as the commanding chief of an army would and believe me, she puts her army to good use.

Of course, she's only able to do that because Mitsuru is also locked safely in headquarters with her. If it wasn't for Mitsuru's communications and technological skills keeping all the different buildings connected and updates kept coming at hourly intervals, Nanba would likely have fallen completely.

Of course, the Otogi's and KAGU-8 are also within headquarters, commanding their teams in a joint effort operation to figure out what the hell is causing all this, to find a cure for it, and to figure the best way to get that cure out to everyone who might need it.

KAGU-8 actually comes in incredibly useful as well because, as a robot, she is immune to becoming a zombie. She goes out of the building whenever it's deemed safe (as in, she won't let anything in and they know she can't transmit the virus back to them as it's not anything skin to skin contact), acting in a variety of manners. Not only can she give them a better view of the actual situation outside of their building, but she can act as a go-between and aid various buildings in need of support.

Because animals also seem to be completely immune to being turned zombie, Kyakuya, Hiiragi, Tsubaki, Sazanka, and Kikiyou also help KAGU-8 in those kind of roles and they're also a valuable source of intel for Building 4.

And Building 4? It makes itself useful. Not only is Yozakura exceptionally strong and more than capable of taking down a single zombie, but he is a very smart man and knows how to research and investigate. Musashi actually is allowed out of his cell, though he must still be closely supervised every minute, under the orders of the Warden, to help as that is something Musashi excels at as well. Building 4 really dedicates itself to helping Headquarters' research and investigation team as much as they possibly can. Even though Hitoshi isn't really the most skilled at research, they help by taking care of the others, rationing out food while still making sure everyone is fed, and really taking over the supervising of the other guards and the overseeing of the prisoners.

Speaking of food, it becomes clear after the first week or so that travel must be established between the different buildings so that rations and provisions can be shared. Not only that, but after the first building or two fell due to zombies, it became apparent that staff needed to have a way for backup to reach them in case things did start to go bad inside a building.

While Momoko and Hajime will definitely need to have a meeting after this whole thing is over, it's really Building 13's time to shine when it comes to finding ways for the Buildings to safely travel between each other. While Jyugo and the others normally keep their travelling within Building 13, Jyugo has probably snuck around to other buildings without Hajime or the boys noticing, just because he could. And with the inmates of Building 13 really being given a little leniency, and the blueprints to Nanba, it's a walk in the park for them to figure out, test, and secure safe passage between the various buildings. Anyone going between the buildings must be accompanied by a Guard, and honestly Building 13's supervisors and guards have the best reputation and everyone wants them to accompany them. The pure amount of just stupid levels of strength and combat that both Yamato and Hajime have make them more than capable of taking on any zombies that come their way. Seitarou and Tsukumo, meanwhile, actually have really fast reflexes and a kind of stealth that makes them really talented at going safely in between the different buildings and at leading groups between buildings.

Building 3 finds their purpose during the apocalypse in several ways. Not only do Honey and Trois team up but they also team up with Ruka under the supervision of Kiji and start to produce various weapons and battle plans and tactics. Honey often collaborates with Building 4, Uno, and even the Warden herself on one occasion when it comes to tactics and plans. But they also do something else that proves useful as the apocalypse wears on. The communications channel gets turned over to Building 3 once a day, where Kiji or other staff from Building 3 just spread positivity, remind everyone of why they're fighting, assure them that things will return to normal, and remind everyone that they also need to take care of themselves. Shower as often as you can, make sure you get your beauty rest, don't forget good skin-care and little mindfulness breaks, just to keep yourself looking and feeling the best you can. After all, if you look and feel good, you can conquer anything, even a horde of zombies.

Building 5 tends to be the building most everyone counts on to actually go out and put those plans and tactics into action. They're really the front-line soldiers of this battle and not without very good reason. Not only are the guards of Building 5 exceptionally physically and mentally strong, but it's inmates are normally quite physically strong and talented fighters in their own rights. Even Qi gets drafted, becoming a sort of combat medic and he's the one to test the zombie antidote, each time the Research Team thinks they have perfected it, out in the field. Other inmates and guards from different buildings do back them up whenever possible, but they are really the ones in charge down on the ground.

🍑 Liang 🍑

Liang had a rough day of training, nothing seeming to go his way. First he failed to beat Samon, then he tripped up while pulling tires, then he pulled a muscle..

He was beyond upset and stressed. What was with him today? He's better than this mess he's been!

When you offer to help him calm down, he's hesitant, but agrees-- anything to help him feel better, he guesses

You lay his head on your lap and start to quietly sing, and he finds himself quickly relaxing

His eyes fall shut and he practically melts into your lap, starting to doze off as he feels the stress melting away with each note of your song

When he wakes up, you have him settled on the bed, and for a moment he misses laying on your lap

He makes a mental note to turn to you for assistance when he's stressed the next time around.. and every time after that

🎱 Trois 🎱

Trois had a bit of a headache from stress and irritation; there was a big argument at the mess hall between a few bickering inmates and he got caught in the crossfire of thrown food

His perfectly good, freshly cleaned outfit was soiled with gravy, rice grains and other mystery stains

Kiji got on his case about it, complaining about how many things he'd have to do to prevent the stains from being permanent

When you offered to help him de-stress, his only reply was a sullen nod and a soft "Please."

You pulled him against you, letting his head rest on your shoulder, and as you started to sing, you could feel him relax against you, going almost bonelessly limp

It didn't take long for him to pass out, almost falling down as he did, so you carefully moved him to be laying on the bed, though he muttered a little objection as you moved him

He may or may not lie about headaches and stress in the future when he feels like cuddling up to you and falling asleep to your singing voice

🎯 Honey 🎯

After losing several games with Uno in the game room, and being the victim of some pointed teasing and taunts, he was practically ripping his beautiful purple hair out

Before you offered to calm him down, he was stomping around your cell, muttering under his breath and huffing out curses and bad will on Uno

You end up grabbing him by the wrist to snap him out of his rage and calmly tell him to relax, before leading him to the bunk so you can sit down with him

As you start singing, his breathing slows slowly but surely, and he crease in his brows soften

Eventually he sags a bit, and leans to rest against your shoulder, finding it hard to stay infuriated under such a soothing song that had him feeling drowsy

As he dozes further, you move him to be resting against your lap, and you run your fingers through his hair, only making him more sleepy with each drag of your fingers

Even as he sleeps, he has a hold on your wrist as you go to move away, pretty much forcing you to stay by him as he slept off his irritation

🦚 Kiji 🦚

Hajime had gotten himself suspended again after he broke an inmate's teeth for getting sassy with him, leaving Kiji and some of his fellow supervisors to pick up the slack

Kiji was sat at his desk as he filled out paperwork, a hand in his hair as he sighed wearily; this was the 3rd stack he'd gone through.

You were known amongst the guards as a "song bird", being able to sooth anyone's worries with your singing, so Kiji had no hesitation to ring you up to his office

You pulled up a chair to sit next to him, and while he worked, you worked your own magic; singing to him quietly while rubbing his shoulder in a comforting manner

What Kiji didn't expect though was to be so enamored by your voice that as you sang to him, he'd start to drift off, his eyes getting heavy

Eventually he ends up letting his eyes fall shut, resulting in him slumping over his desk and starting to snore

Not wanting to bother him when he very clearly needed a power nap, you take the paperwork out from under his chin and work on it yourself, getting the majority of it done to save Kiji anymore trouble
