Hello, I'm Vanessa From Prismatic Skies

I am Vanessa. I currently live in New Hampshire with my husband, our three dogs (Lita, Daisy, & Juno), and 1 cat, Mimsy.

I make strong scented wax melts...you might of heard of me from Magpie Designs. That was me! I have changed my appearance and theme and decided it would be a good idea to have a new name to associate with the new look. Welcome Prismatic Skies.

Moonwater Apothecary Shop

Sadly, all the MUJI locations in California closed in 2020. It was nice to see one during our trip to Vancouver. Plus, the MUJI in downtown Vancouver is a larger shop that seems very popular (we visited more than once).

The Japanese retail shop feels like a mini department store, with home décor (wood and ceramic dishes, bedding, kitchen utensils, kitchen linens, storage), snacks, furniture, luggage, clothing and accessories (hats, scarves, gloves, shoes, bags, underwear, socks, slippers), home fragrance, stationery (notebooks, pens, staplers), and clothing for men, women, and children.

There’s a simple, clean, no frills look to their designs. The design is also thoughtful and the clothing comfortable. The embroidery service can help personalize some of the products. Rubber stamps can be used to customize notebooks.

The café is staffed by a robot barista that serves coffee and tea drinks, made to order.
