i am posting this a couple days late EEK but i drew some of niko's (@du-buk) characters for his birthday the other day :D yay mortis!

Two questions!!!

1- How did post-Eye go? Did everyone (hatchy included) wake up as if it was a new loop, just in a new universe and the sun… didn’t explode.

2- What was the state of the Hearth after being sent to the new universe given… everyone just saw the sun explode?

So, here's a simplified explanation of this AU: Just like the game's ending (SPOILERS LOL), the sun goes supernova as the Hatchling was exploring the Eye. Hatchy enters the Eye, gets to the ancient Glade, and witnessed the Big Bang... Then, either because the Eye is a sentient being, or just because it's the rules of the new universe (undetermined, those are just theories), the Hearthians are given a second chance at life. Their solar system reappears in a brand new universe. Also since the new universe has been created based on the Hatchling's mind, certain things are acting based on their wishes: They reappeared on Timber Hearth instead of the Eye (in the Quantum Grove), Solanum is alive and woke up at their side, the Prisoner is still dead, but the Stranger is back in the solar system with its dam intact.

Every Hearthian wakes up like they all collectively passed out at the same time. They all clearly remember the supernova, and their own deaths. This means that they were in a state of absolute panic when they all woke up, all very confiused by the situation and very afraid that it's going to happen again. All the character present in the Ancient Glade also get very vague memories of the last campfire. But if you want an accurate reaction about all of this, here's a sketch of Slate and Mica just a few minutes after they woke up from their deaths.

I'm planning to draw more reactions like this! :D
