I saw this question posed on tiktok, but I think Tumblr would really enjoy it too.

If a fae creature offered to give one million dollars for a bone FROM YOUR BODY chosen at random, how many bones would you allow them to take?

Light clarifications; The fae is not the one choosing the bones. The bone is taken at random. Each bone, no matter the size or importance, is worth a full million dollars. You must also declare the exact number first, you can't go bone-by-bone. You either say 2 or you say 10, you can't work your way up to a higher number. The bones are removed instantaneously, and the money is given immediately as well. You will not get in government trouble for acquiring the money.

Tell me in the tags/replies how many bones you'd let the fae take. And as always, reblog for bigger sample size.

The trolley problem: Here you are, at the scene of a disaster that someone set off long before you arrived. You could help, you could take action, but that would mean you also take on responsibility for the outcome.

Would you rather act to save people, knowing that by choosing who to help you are implicitly choosing who to let die? Or would you rather keep your hands clean by letting the disaster unfold on its own, regardless of how much worse it will be because you didn't act?

Half the people on this fucking site: the second, absolutely the second. How dare you ask me to compromise my shining moral purity for pointless complications like 'who's in charge of the government' or 'harm mitigation'.

As a trans man who has had to put painstaking work into body positivity, body neutrality, and my own sense of manhood, I can't help but feel so bad for men who have, seemingly, never felt permission to have any positive feelings about their body and their manhood.

Yes, body positivity and body neutrality are for you, men. You owe nobody washboard abs, or beautiful facial hair, or clear skin, or unblemished skin, or "masculine" features. Genuinely, you are under no obligation to perform any of it. The weight of those expectations is genuinely suffocating. Let yourself remove that yoke from your shoulders and actually live.
