Holy Crow. Gee Whiz.

I do not believe I have ever heard "holy crow" in my life. Search engines indicate it shares a different meaning than this use as synonym for "Holy Cow".

But I guess it popped up in early 50s Archie Comics. And Marvel Comics in 1970. So maybe it was out there. How Archie came to knock it out by 1961 but Marvel had it in 1970 -- Who knows?

I finished all of my coursework for my degree last term and now I never write anymore except like. a date in my planner. I just did almost three chapters of genki in one evening and I can’t feel my fingers.

I got the anniversary email and I've had this blog for three years.

3 years!

And of course, there have been ups and downs. Positives and negatives. And so much has happened.

If it wasn't for this fandom, I don't think I would have made friends in more ways than just obsessing over a musical about dancing cats and how it can be interpreted in different ways and how a commonly despised musical is actually about family, fitting in, and more.

And how can we forget about the fantastic artists, writers, headcanon makers, oc creators, and all-around some of the nicest people I think I have ever met in fandom.

Oh and before I forget! I love you guys! 😁

the solo rerecording of "Masquerade Butterfly" has SUCH a different vibe than the Ecthelion recording??

they're both so interesting, and from two totally different auditory / music theory perspectives!! the different instrumentation and layering in both recordings, the different vocal performances, the noise and distortion in each...

some of y’all just don’t like musical steve cause he’s black and you need to just get it over with and say it. like i’ll concede on some things like yes steve has a smaller role in the musical and two-bit has a bigger one whatever. but like movie steve doesn’t get a magical lore dump mixed into the movie that musical steve is lacking. you can use his book lore and add onto it using the lore renni has given us through his costume and similar things. part of being in a fandom is putting in the work. grow up and get over your own biases and realize the value in different interpretations.
