tw: mentions of roofies, murder, then smut:)
cbf!simon would absolutely kill for you.
Tumblr media
cbf!simon has always been your partner in crime.
even in your youth, back when he was built like a daffodil, he was always by your side. kept you safe from the mean girls at school, always got in trouble for throwing hands at boys who made crass comments at you and the like. then he'd left his butcher job to join the military. "I gotta learn how to keep you safe, love. i'll always come back to ya."
and he had. he returned to you almost four times his size; he left a boy and came back a man. down to your very bones, you knew that he would always keep you safe.
which is why he was the first person you called when the guy next to you at the bar roofied your drink. the beer fizzed irregularly and had an almost milky colour even though it was an ipa.
the idiot had dared to smile at you, an oily, crooked grin with yellow teeth, and lifted his own glass to toast with you.
you bolted out of your seat in seconds, heading straight to the ladies' room, and dialed.
he answered on the second ring.
"please come get me." you hadn't meant to sound as terrified as you felt.
"be there in 5," then hung up.
he lived 15 minutes away from the dingy bar.
true to his word, he was there in 5, texting where you were at.
inside the ladies bathroom.
he let himself in, put his jacket around your quivering shoulders, and with a strong, comforting arm, guided you toward the exit and into his truck. simon remained silent as he sat you in the passenger seat, gently pulling the seatbelt over your chest, clicking it into place.
he stood next to you, his hands resting on your jean-clad thighs, waiting patiently for you to explain.
your teeth sink into your bottom lip as you sort out your thoughts. you no longer felt afraid, that much was certain. simon has always been your pillar of strength. there was nothing to fear with him at your side.
so why do your hands continue to tremble? digging deeper, you realize that you're angry. no.
furious.
some imbecile thought he'd take advantage of you. if you'd been any more drunk, you would have been a victim— wound up lifeless in a dirty ditch.
you burned with fury, your blood boiling under your skin. how dare he? how dare he?
simon softly touches your tightly clenched hands, coaxing your fingers to unfurl.
everything pulls hard to port when your eyes land on his disfigured knuckles— scarred by battle. you've never liked what simon did for a living. he just fought and killed people that some higher-up told him were the bad guys.
in war, there is no good or bad side. the field is too soaked in blood for anyone to recognize where the line is if there even was one to begin with.
until now. just this once, you couldn't be more grateful that simon possesses the skills he does.
you make your decision. "there was a guy in there. green hat, ugly brown jacket with yellow, crooked teeth. he drugged my beer, then toasted me so i would drink it."
his hands tighten around yours marginally. "and now i'm here, safe, with you. but he's still in there, with potentially a pocket full of pills, on the lookout for his next victim. how am i supposed to sleep tonight, knowing that if someone goes missing tonight, the blood will be on my hands?"
you cut your eyes to his dark, hardened ones, and the words tumble out of your mouth with surprising ease.
"there's trash in there that needs throwing out, simon."
nothing but a wretched mongrel that needs to be put down.
simon's nod is subtle, but it's there. you exhale a shuddering breath, heart slamming against your ribcage.
he's a gun in your hand, and you've just pulled the trigger.
simon hands you the keys to the truck. "are you sober enough to drive home?" he quietly asks.
hard to keep a buzz when you almost became a victim of—
"yes."
he's opening the glove compartment, taking out his skeleton gloves, and a tac knife that he tucks inside the waistband of his jeans.
"go home. i'll see ya in a bit." his voice is flat, lifeless.
simon closes the door and raps his knuckles on the hood of the truck before heading inside.
and so the elephant marches to war.
-
it's well past midnight when he crawls in through your window. one moment his boots are on the windowsill, the next he's pinning you onto your mattress, hips flush against yours.
his chilly, clean hands lift the hem of your loose shirt, dimpling the soft skin that his fingers dig into— his bare lips grazing the shell of your ear.
"he is no longer a problem."
he grinds his clothed erection against the flimsy fabric of your sleeping shorts.
"you did the right thing by telling me what he did."
simon trails a path of open-mouthed kisses from your ear down to your mouth, licking your bottom lip.
"nothing gets me harder than when my girl looks at me to keep her safe."
your breath hitches when a hand begins to move south, lifting the waistband of your bottoms and sliding his fingers over your slick pussy. "it seems you like it too. does it turn you on, ordering me around like a dog? i bark at your command, pet."
one finger sinks into your wet heat, his groan drowning out your own.
"you like having this much power over me? how easily i bend to your will?" he croons.
there are two fingers in you now, so much thicker than your own, and the way they curl and drag along your nerves has your toes tingling. he takes you to the precipice at frightening speed— the expert hands that kill without remorse are the same ones that are bringing you your pleasure.
he thrusts his fingers into you with an obscene squelch and a thumb circles your slippery clit.
"i'd burn the world to ashes if you asked it of me."
the coil in your stomach is tight, your body tense in anticipation.
"so... would you? would you ask me to bring the world to its very knees?"
the answer sits on the tip of your tongue when you climax around his fingers, walls pulsing rhythmically, arousal dripping from his knuckles.
later will be a good time to reflect on how you don't feel even remotely guilty for what's been done.
for now, you focus on how good simon feels as he slowly sinks into you, splitting you wide open with his heavy cock.
-
simon finds no pills in the guy's pockets. no baggie, no bottle.
nothing.
shame that his little love has declared the guy's life forfeit.
your wish is his command.

My Skeleton Crew finale SPOILER thoughts!
...I am so fascinated by Jod. I was kinda right that he doesn't get a full blown redemption, but I was also proven wrong about my reaction to him from last week: he's not a completely evil bastard.
I will say, that I still think he's not a good person, but I won't call him 'evil.' He doubled down on his choices and his philosophy right up to the end, and he still kept using gaslighting language on the kids: blaming them for things getting this bad, claiming if they just obeyed him then things would be fine, etc. That's all abusive language.
But yes, now that we know his backstory, his actions all make sense as a trauma response. He was deeply messed up by watching that Jedi die in front of him, and it made him cynical.
It's very interesting though, that in his rant he still acknowledged that there is good in the universe, and it makes me think he sees himself as a monster. If he is at least aware of what is good and bad, and he still chooses to be bad... that makes him someone who, by default, probably hates himself and doesn't think he deserves to join the side of good.
It's psychologically so fascinating, and I see parallels with Darth Vader and Kylo Ren too. They too on some level knew that they were doing evil things, but had no hope for themselves. So much to unpack. I love characters like this!
So, while I think he still counts as a 'bad guy' in this, the way it ends does leave open the door for, someday, after a lot of work, he could redeem himself. But right now, he's still too much of a scoundrel. Also important to note how self destructive he is: his choices are very impulsive and poorly thought out, and he honestly could have just stayed with the kids until the very end and been able to get away with a giant reward, and be a lot better off.
But he chose to betray them for no good reason other than his own pride, and not wanting to be indebted to these kids that he finds annoying. He caused his own downfall by giving them a villain to overcome their own differences to defeat.
God this is such good writing!
It is interesting that they don't let us see what happened to him, they left that very open-ended. I know his final expression is being hotly debated, and I personally saw it as him accepting his defeat with dignity, but also.... there might be a tiny bit of him that's proud of the kids for defeating him and proving him wrong, that there are good guys who sometimes win. But it's very up for interpretation.
I also love how Wim's dad got to be a hero too! He's such a giant nerd lol. 'Son, you're looking at a Level 7 Analyst,' or whatever, and he says it like its the most badass thing in the world.
In general, this finale lets the adults learn to trust their children and defy the strict rules of that society, which is a good message.
And I LOVE that bit where Fern tells her mom about how, no matter where they went, even in the really bad places, they still met people that were kind and helped them. It's mirroring what Jod was saying, about pinpricks of light. The difference is that Jod lost faith in those pinpricks, while Fern found it (faith).
Yeah, I would have preferred we got a brief epilogue, to just show how the planet adjusts to now being part of the galaxy again, but it's honestly a minor nitpick. And part of me is ok with it not answering every single question, it allows our imagination to blossom. And also gives the writers wiggle room for Season 2...
Oh! Also: I love that, even after everything, Wim wanted Jod to come with them. He didn't want to abandon him. That feels so much like Luke. And I love that Jod just gives him this small smile, like he's saying, 'nah, kid, you earned this, get going.'
I loved this show so so so so much, it's just classic Star Wars fun, but it still felt fresh and different. Bravo!

== Love Notes ==
Hey there lovelies! I'm trying very hard to catch up right now, hopefully it'll happen over the next couple days as home and work slows down.
Today I'd like to send out a gentle reminder to take some time for yourself this week! This is the time of year when a lot of folks are busy taking care of others, getting things ready for family or friends, and honestly, a lot of times we forget to take care of ourselves. Take a break-- take a day off work that's just for you if you have the capacity. Buy yourself a little treat, or do something on the list of chores that YOU want to get done and not that other people need you to get done.
Some of you may have TOO MUCH time for yourself and want time with others-- so be sure to reach out if you do! People get busy during the holidays and they can forget to check on folks because their minds are occupied, but I can guarantee you they think about you often, and want you to be okay. Holidays can be such a mixed bag, and not one person will have the same experiences with them, so do what you need to do for YOU. I hope you have a restful week and nothing too crazy goes on. Rest up, drink some water, and know we <3 ya. Night crew!

Wandering Witchbreed AU: Sir Logan the Wolverine
Tumblr media
AU MASTERPOST
AKA James Howlett
Armour
Logan wears leather armour given to him by The Knights of Xavier. The leather is treated to be a bright and vibrant yellow in colour, with the coat of arms of House Xavier embossed over the heart. In order to hide his identity, Logan covers his armour with a simple, brown travel cloak.
Sexuality and Relationships
In this AU, Logan is bisexual and polyamorous. At it's core, the AU is focused on Poolverine, but prior to the fall of the House of Xavier, Logan had feelings for many of his fellow knights, which will also be explored when delving into Logan's past.
Past
Logan, like is canon counterpart, is over 200 years old. He was born in what is now known as the Kingdom of Kanata, many decades before it broke away from the crumbling Albion Empire. He lived a pleasant and privileged childhood as the son of Lord John and Lady Elizabeth Howlett, however he was often bedridden due to his delicate constitution. Logan's life changed drastically when he discovered that he was, in fact, the illegitimate son of his family's cruel groundskeeper, Thomas Logan. After witnessing Thomas kill John, Logan's witchbreed abilities activated. He lashed out and accidentally killed Thomas before escaping into the night with Thomas' other son (and Logan's half brother), Victor. As he grew older, Logan began to realise that he felt most comfortable in a militaristic role, fighting as a soldier and mercenary in many wars over the course of his life. Eventually, Logan’s rapid healing abilities drew the attention of the Royal Spymaster, Professor Andre Thorton. With the aid of sorcerers Abraham Cornelius and Carol Hines, he captured Logan and performed an eldritch ritual to bond adamantium to his skeleton and completely wiped his mind and memory. This left Logan an animalistic shell of his former self, forced to do Cornelius’ bidding through the use of an enchanted circlet. After a decade of acting as the Royal family’s assassin, Logan was able to break free of his magical brainwashing and escape into the Kanatian wilderness. There he lived as a wild man, with no memory of who or even what he was. He moved from place to place, making what little money he could through underground fights and mercenary work until he ran into Anna Marie and was convinced to join The Knights of Xavier in exchange for them helping investigate his past. Despite the Knights welcoming him as one of their own, Logan was hesitant to allow himself to trust them. This fear of letting people close to him, along with being worn down by the anti-witchbreed prejudice sweeping the Kingdom of Ventra, caused Logan to retreat further into himself. He became apathetic to their cause and, when the Xavier Manor House was attacked by Sentinals and Witchhunters, refused to join the fight. When he returned, he found the manor burned to the ground, leaving him the only survivor.

(OOC: For you, pookie, I will power through laziness and procrastinate even more on my exam studies to cheer you up mon amie)
*sweat covered Will has he thrashed in his bed. He had been in the infirmary, resting himself after almost passing out, when the dreamscape played out before him, again and again. Each time more graphic than the last*
*The cyclops. The torture. The war. The flames. Shadows, darkness, a river, a voice. Dark eyes, raven hair, skeletons. Typhon, Empousa. The birds. His mother's screams. Lee. Micheal. Blood. Cries. The bridge. Percy, screams. Annabeth. Swords. Screams*
*screams. So. Many. Screams. Calling his name. Calling help. Calling for mothers, father, brothers, sisters. Will's tears ran.*
*Will's screams joined the ones in his head. The ones sneering at him, accusing him, telling him the truth over and over again that he was never enough, he never would be, he couldn't do anything, he didn't try hard enough, he couldn't save them, useless, useless, useless, useless. What son of Apollo couldn't sing? Couldn't shoot? Couldn't aim? Couldn't fight? *
*Who was he? An imposter. He faked every part of his life. The cries wouldn't shut up about it, the guilt swallowed him, dragging him into the depths of his mind. Pain was all he deserved, right? Yes. If he cannot be wanted, let him be needed. If cannot be needed, let him be used till there was nothing left. That was all he was in the end. All he was ever good for, all he was made for, a shield. Cannon fodder. The sacrifice. *
*Still, his nightmares haunted him. Will tossed and turned, screaming and thrashing, crying and hurting*
*He was a demigod. A useless one. This was his life. Get used to it Solace*

skeleton crew season 1 finale questions and theories under the cut:
10/10 I loved it I was yelling while standing in front of the screen holding my face the whole time
Tumblr media
OK, I’m gonna stay up front. I have been purposely avoiding lots of conversation about this because I wanted to see where the show was gonna take it. So if I’m saying something that was clearly obvious to someone else I’m open to hear things that I missed or different theories. I also have no one in person to discuss this with so it’s all being thrown up here:
I’m extremely intrigued about that lightsaber and who it belong to. I know realistically this is something that we most likely will never find out, but I want to know who it was and how was it obtained. It was in pristine condition. It wasn’t battle worn, it wasn’t broken. It was looking practically new, which means that either it was taken from a Jedi as a trophy or it was found. As a high/old republic gold and white silver colors, that saber was old. It could have totally be silver and black placing it slightly before/IN the clone wars, but its colors are so distinct!!
Tumblr media
Similar to how cal kestis had discovered the whole underground OG Jedi force users infrastructure on Koboh. Along with the left over back up plan of the Jedi order if eveything fails. (Guys I’m still playing the game there’s more to it I’m sure)
So back to the “now” Jod not only being smart, but minimal with his force control was giving me a lot of different vibes. So he was found by a Jedi and trained. Idk why but I was picking up betrayed by the Jedi, similar to Ahsoka, or falling away from the Jedi ways for personal gain or survival. (After having to watch his master fall). I am also aware that could just be a regular force sensitive person that was trained in ways of the Jedi within his own survival. But I keep feeling like there’s more than that? I might be grasping at more than what’s there, I’m sure.
I don’t see him as sith considering how he’s reacted with the kids this whole season. It was giving maul and Ezra vibes, but had less of mauls “join my side” and more of “I just need you to do as i say”. After the finale and the end credits, you can see he was a “Padawan” and had been trained. It makes me wonder if his former master knew quigon because of the quote he said, or if it was a more popular quote within the Jedi than we’ve been informed. Sort of like the “live laugh love” quote of the Jedi.
Even coming up against a Sith in battle. From the end credits, I don’t see him as sith. Just a survivor.
I’m furious (because cliff hanger) that they left Jod in an open window without telling us what happened. Which I hope leads to a second season, but there was no hint of his standpoint, not even attribute to the original long John Silver of getting away with some sort of credit.
I noticed the slight shift in his facial expression when he was called out, and it was giving a different personality than the one he was trying to portray. Almost like Wim was talking to Jod’s former padawn self. But Jod, giving the true “long John silver vibes” of “wim you’re a good kid, I’ve made bad decisions and I’m watching my defeat happen in real time”.
What instantly boggled my mind was how long has at-attin not only started, but how long has it actually been running. Regardless of it having Old Republic credits and being a perfect time capsule up until now; the supervisor being a droid wasn’t unexpected. With a perfect society like that, I expected a droid to be running it. It’s giving “going to mars to start a new population” vibe. But for the sake of the republics money creation’s secret bank planet.
Tumblr media
the fact that the planet had been hidden for so long, BUT the supervisor was receiving active information of what was going on from the Galactic Republic up until ORDER 66. The supervisor calling out that Jedi were the enemy makes me highly confused of the planets loyalties. If the planet was creating Republic credits and they had not received an adversary to pick them up, but the supervisor received an update of order 66???
When was the last time the supervisor had received contact from outside the planet? And who was sending them??
Tumblr media
Was the supervisor aware of the clone wars? was it aware of all the political changes up until the first galactic empire was established?? I understand that the droid was programmed to keep the planet running, which makes me wonder at-ackran, if the people of the planet fell into survival and “war” because of the pirate that had infiltrated the planet and destroyed the supervisor the same way Jod did for at-attan.
There’s more than enough information to hint at the timeline, which is helpful to the storytelling. But dropping the hint that this planet was aware of order 66 makes me wonder if someone loyal to the republic purposely cut off all ties to the planet for safety the moment order 66 was established. It had to be someone high to dictate a communication with a planet like that.
So if the order had been received galaxy wide, but that’s the last set of communication did someone willingly cut that tie to preserve that old republic credit safety or was there more to the story that we didn’t know because Jod shut down the supervisor?
I was genuinely yelling at my screen the later half of the finale. There’s notes I’m sure I missed this is purely an after the episode word vomit because I’m grasping for more details I’ll probably never receive.

Any tf2 headcanons?
I was hoarding this ask for when I have alot of hcs but I now realize that that was an awful idea becuz now there too much going on in my brain. So I'll tell you the ones I can remember rn.
(btw this is gonna be a mess of silly and sad contention into a blender, so sorry for any whiplash)
Everyones business last name is TF2. It's canon, Ms Pauling said so.
Scout and Ms Pauling have one thing in common, they're simps for women out of their league and it's sad.
My current idea of the plot is that Ms Pauling is now the new administrator and the mercs are still working for her but now instead of a war they are now a Hire-A-Merc organization. Why, so they can pay the blood pact that the old administrator got them in from Abraham Lincoln.
The team is a merge for BLU and RED team members.
BLU: Scout, Medic, Soldier, Engineer | RED: Heavy, Demo, Spy, Sniper, Pyro
Engie has an gaming channel.
Engie is a little person. (you can't convince otherwise LOOK AT HIM)
Engie does his own surgery, not that he doesn't trust Medic. He just doesn't trust Medic. He has more trust that in his drunken state he could chop his arm off cleaner than Medic because of his god complex.
Engie says trans rights.
Engie has two moods: Wholesome bumpkin or manic "i am better than all of you".
Medic and Heavy are married. (but to be fair thats just canon)
Medic never had a medical license but he did go to school... for animal care.
Medic has a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and lied ALOT to military when he got drafted to get out safely.
He got a nazi skeleton and dead parents out of that.
Medic burn his documents so now the only people that knows is the people he tells like Heavy.
Medic only have two reasons for being here- 1) to experiment on everyone. 2) Heavy
Medic eats like a cat eating a dragon fruit. And so does Archimedes.
Medic is the definition of "no rules no boundaries he doesn't flinch at torture and sells blood for money. He's your new best friend."
Medic is slowly going more insane with time and can't tell if it's because he sold his soul to the devil or because someone is secretly fucking with him. (it's Spy)
Heavy met Medic before joining the team.
Heavy has a cooking channel.
He's a masochist. (he has too if he's with Medic.)
Heavy will kill Soldier before he starts having kids with Zhanna. He's still not ok with him.
Heavy has lots of cute moles on him. (Medic makes sure to kiss each one and make sure they're not lethal.)
While Im at it Heavy family is cursed to fall in-love with insane men.
Pyro-vision is just Pyro going through a heat stroke.
Pyro is the leader of the hate spy club.
Pyro has kids that live in the ocean with his mermaid wife. Don't ask how, it's Pyro.
Engie and Scout are the only ones that understand what Pyro is saying completely.
Engie adopted Pyro unofficially but that's his son right there.
Soldier and Zhanna are gonna have twins.
Soldier and Demo had kiss once- with their socks on.
Medic did a blood test on Soldier and he actually is not 100% American, he doesn't know and everyone intends it to stay that way.
Soldier and Scout actually know each other from before getting hired by BLU. They were comrade in the 100,000 new men program in Vietnam.
After Scout left in general discharge from a land mine incident he thought that would be the laat time he sees him. He was wrong.
Don't worry they're chill, well as chill as man can be when their hand is somehow a magnet to your neck.
Sniper is a social smoker.
Sniper is like a lizard, he doesn't fuck with the cold.
Sniper is younger than Scout. He just spent too much time in the sun and now he looks like a divorce 40 y/o dad struggling with his mortgage. Or just a brown Adam Sandler.
Sniper got those old man bones AKA my bones. His knees be cracking down the hall.
Sniper hops round different peoples places for the holidays. He spent the most time at Engie's house with Pyro; he had spent a Christmas or two with Scout's family but a "certain someone" doesn't appreciate the bushman there and ruining his holiday with his family.
When Scout has to give directions or details of the area he just draws it. Because NO ONE understands this mans writing.
Scout's life mission is to be Gods greatest gift and not just for the women. Like the bible said "a hole is a hole"... or atleast thats what Scout remembers from church.
Scout while being illiterate CAN speak Spanish, Italian, Vietnamese and French. (but he doesn't remember where he learned french from tho.)
Scout is resistant to radiation at this point.
Before becoming a merc, Scout was working at a diner that fitted him quite well.
Waffle House at the graveyard shift.
Scout's fuckboy attitude comes from daddy issues while Spy slut attitude comes from mommy issues.
Spy came from a rich family until he ran away to help in the war effort and became a spy. He doesn't regret his decision nor miss his home but does wish he did a proper goodbye to his brother.
The reason Spy has teeth capsules in his mouth to begin with is because one time him and a his fellow spy were getting torture by the enemy by having their teeth removed. Now all his teeth are fake.
Speaking of teeth, Scout got his buck-teeth from Spy.
Spy HAS gotten lungs transplanted several times from Medic because this mf refuses to chill out and get help with his smoking problem.
Spy is gender fluid.
Spy is a furry.
Demo is going to kill him one day.
That day is when he finds his DA account.

Long analysis incoming:
In a previous post, I toyed a bit with the idea of how growing up in the cutthroat, favor-seeking environment of the brothel might have taught a young Meng Yao some of the two-facedness that would characterize him later, but really, that’s just a seed. Lots of people are good liars or good actors, but not all of them put that skill towards self-serving or vindictive ends. So how did JGY become what he had become by the time he was established in Jinlintai?
For our purposes I’ll be using his Untamed early character progression, as I think that JGY’s arc is one of the few early plot deviations from the novels (and good lord there are a lot) that actually materially improved the story. The relationship between JGY and NMJ (and NHS) in the books was not as deeply rooted, and the betrayal was a little too abrupt in its vindictiveness. Like, in a “he was a monster all along” kind of way, like MY was already the truly poisonous kind of liar. The initial (might I say mutual) betrayal between NMJ & MY is somewhat lighter in Untamed, giving the mutual resentment room to fester, and the encounter at Nightless City room to be a devastating further fracture in their relationship rather than just confirmation of the previous rift. The killing of the captain in Untamed is still a selfish act of getting even (softened a little if we actually believe that the captain let Xue Yang out) but isn’t immediately followed by an frankly petty fake-out and attempt on the life of JGY’s up-to-now closest friend and benefactor. You can see how the banishment hurts both of them in its inevitability.
The next time we see MY is in Nightless City. He is a puppet master, a torturer and a turncoat. In the books this sort of comes across as confirmation of his true self, but in the Untamed there’s a moment of WOAH, how did we get here??
Like many other characters, JGY has a War Is Hell arc in his development, but it happens off-stage, which makes it possible for the change to come across as a reveal of true character (and this misdirection is kind of the point, but we’ll get back to that). Remember, Meng Yao, the young right hand man of Nie Mingjue, was clever and likely good at selling a lie, but ultimately naively struggling to follow the “honorable path” of hard work for recognition as laid out by NMJ. By the time he becomes Jin Guangyao, he has crossed several different lines. Under Wen Ruohan, he had to become a torturer, a puppet master, and an executioner. Joining Wen Ruohan made him a traitor for the first time; killing Wen Ruohan made him a traitor for the second. This Meng Yao no longer believes that the honorable path is open to people like him. When MY invites NMJ for the to kill him for the second time, it mirrors the first time in Qinghe closely, yet everything has changed. The first time was a plea: I’d rather you kill me than throw me away. The second time is a bluff: you couldn’t do it then, can you really do it now? The action is the same, but everything has changed.
By the time Meng Yao becomes Jin Guangyao, he is quietly immersed in the same post-war struggle to reintegrate into nominal peacetime as everyone else. He tries to make a place for himself through hard work again, this time in Jinlintai, replacing NMJ with JGS as the object of his dedication, but JGS wants JGY to be what he was for the Wens, and so dishonorable path it is. He does his father’s dirty work because it makes him indispensable–besides, where else can he go? He tries to communicate his reality to NMJ but meets a stone wall of resistance and a kick down stone stairs. No wonder he finally hits fuck it.
Even after ridding himself of the competing pressures of JGS and NMJ, there is still nowhere to go but down as the fallout from every deed he’s done remains hot on his heels. What is left for him but to further entrench, as some mysterious manipulator works to uncover every skeleton in his thoroughly packed closet?
The worst bit is that there were cries for help, for someone, for Nie Mingjue, to please understand, but they went unanswered. Fully cornered, there was nowhere left to go but down.
In an odd way, this parallels (albeit more malignantly) WWX in his first life: so many misunderstandings, so many cries for help, so many torn loyalties, so many perceived and real betrayals, so many secrets that can’t be told, and so many well-intended but misdirected interventions. Where was there to go, except down?
Following this parallel further, we never actually directly experience the hells that changed WWX and JGY – Burial Mounds and Nightless City respectively – and that’s the point. By giving up our omniscience as readers, we’re able to be blindsided by the changes, by the withdrawing and the self-destructiveness, right along with every person who truly knows them. Even attempts at building a life and moving on, at the Burial Mounds or Jinlintai, are thwarted.
After all, how can anyone understand what the can never be allowed to know?

The spades save Ace: post Thriller bark
Ace finally turns to look his friend dead in the eyes. “Do you think Luffy and the others are ready for the New World?”
The celebration is going on around them. The room is chaos. Luffy is away laying on top of Brook’s piano while the Skeleton tells him his life story.
Deuce turns to look at Ace. “They are more ready than our crew was.” He turns back to look at the chaos of the room. “Our crew was lucky. As much as you got into trouble we didn’t drawl nearly as much attention as they do. Sure they Marines wanted you to be a warlord but we hadn’t taken any warlords down. This crew has taken down two.”
Deuce watches as Sanji and Usopp moved over to talk to Brook. “But that’s the problem. They’ve taken down two warlords. Not to mention declaring war on the world government. They’re going to have a way bigger target in their back than we did.” He looked down to Zoro who was peacefully resting between them. “And if Kuma showed us one thing, it’s that they aren’t read for the heavier hitters. Our crew relied on you just as much if not more so then Luffy’s crew relies on him to take on the big threats. But Luffy is giving it his all and he has nothing left.”
Deuce paused unsure how he wanted to phrase his next statement. Ace hadn’t taken his eyes off of him yet. “Whatever you’re thinking just say it.”
Deuce blew out a breath and turned to look at Ace. “What happens when Luffy can’t defeat the biggest threat by himself? Or what if he can but can’t move afterwards? He’s going to die.” Ace flinched at his words it was small but it was there, someone else might not have noticed but this was Deuce, he knew Ace to well. “That or his crew will. They’re not ready for the threats of the New World. Heck we only survived because we joined Whitebeard. If he had decided to kill you that day or sink our ship… we wouldn’t have made it either.”
Ace blew out a sigh. “That’s what I was worried about.” He knew Luffy and his crew wasn’t ready but it was good to hear it from someone else. But that leads to another problem. He turned his head to watch Luffy again. “What do I do?”
Deuce turned to look at the boy as well. “Any chance you can convince him to join Whitebeard.”
Ace snorted. “Not a chance.”
“Well then the only option is to tell him.” Deuce said as he turned back to face Ace.
“And if he doesn’t listen?” Ace wasn’t ready to watch Luffy and his crew walk into their deaths.
Deuce turned to meet his eyes “You’re pretty convincing.” Then he looked down at Zoro again. “I’ll break the news to Zoro. One first mate to another.” He then turned to serve the room again. “Mihar can talk to Robin, Sanji, and Franky. Skull can tell Nami, Ussop, and Chopper.”
“I don’t want to turn the crew against him. If he decides to go there’s no stopping him.” Ace said looking at the room as well.
“I’m not suggesting that. I’m suggesting that they need to take sometime to train. After what I’ve seen the past few weeks, I have no doubt that Luffy will be King of the Pirates. He just can’t rush into it without planning. Not if he wants to keep all of his crew alive.”
Ace turned and smirked at his friend. “What do you think Pops would say if he heard you.”
Deuce turned to look at him with a raised brow. “Depends are you going to tell him you agree with me?”
Ace actually laughed. “Of course.” He turned back to look fondle upon Luffy as Brook announced to the whole room that he was joining the crew. “As much as I love Pops, Luffy is the future King of the Pirates.”
The future king he had to have a hard conversation with.

The Past - Ghost x Soap x You
Content Warnings - fluff, minor angst, afab!fem!reader, no use of Y/n or nicknames
Series Masterlist
Main Masterlist
Tumblr media
It’s too fucking early for this shit, that is your first thought when you roll out of your cot. Distantly you can hear a certain Scot talking loudly, Soap is likely bugging Ghost. You drag your hands down your face as you look at your alarm clock, 04:48 am. “It’s too fucking early.” You grumble as you get up anyways.
After being in the military for years, long enough to have built up a good enough record to be recruited by John Price for 141 task force, you probably should be used to waking up at the ass crack of dawn. But even the sun is still slumbering, the sky isn’t even a faint shade of pink to welcome the giant ball of gas.
You pull on your uniform and slick your hair into a bun, fighting with little flyaways the entire time. You brush your teeth and scroll through your phone as you do so. Updates from your family on facebook and new instagram stories from friends and celebrities, the same thing every day. But that’s why you joined the military, well that was one of the reasons. Routine, something you thrived in just as much as being thrown into the field with nothing but your wits. You rinse out your mouth and look at yourself in the mirror for a second, staring dead into your own eyes before you leave the small bathroom.
You are slow to walk to the recreational room, burdened with the knowledge that Soap had already started his antics early. Ghost is sitting at the island counter, his broad shoulders hunched and his simple balaclava pushed up halfway as he takes sips from his tea. Soap is talking about something but you don’t have the patience or brain power to figure it out and by the way Ghost is, neither does he. You wander over to the coffee pot and pour yourself a cup before dumping as much creamer and sugar as you can possibly bear into it. “Is tha’ even coffee now?” Ghost asks.
Perhaps a few months ago you would have been startled at his sudden words but it seemed that the ice between the two of you had melted since you had covered his six in the last mission. “Don’t know, don’t care.” You mumble as you lean against the counter as you stir your coffee. You blow on it and take a tentative sip. Disgustingly sweet, good. Now you can’t taste the bitter coffee under it. You drag your eyes over the rec room and nod to a very tired Gaz who must have dragged himself out of bed no long after you. You watch as Gaz smacks Soap on the back of the head.
”Shut up mate, you’re gonna wake the entire barracks with your talkin’.” Gaz grumbles before he makes his way over to the coffee pot and pours himself what little is left in it. You cringe as he drinks it black, no matter how many times you’ve seen him do it your stomach still churns. Which is a weird thing, because you’ve seen the brutality of war and have both been the subject of and done interrogations that got messy.
But it's Gaz drinking straight black coffee that gets you. You know it's not even his preference! You had asked him how he can stomach it without any kind of creamer or sugar and he admitted that he only drinks it black in the morning because he doesn’t really care how his coffee is that early. That truthfully, he much prefers something sweet like a latte or something.
“Away n’ bile yer heid!” Soap snaps at Gaz, leaning over the back of the couch haphazardly.
”English MacTavish.” Ghost grunts and you can’t help the snicker that leaves you.
“Oh not ye tae lass.” Soap groans, feigning heartbreak as he collapses onto the couch dramatically.
”You a theater kid Johnny?”
”Nae, jus’ naturally talented.” Soap says and you can hear the wink he gives even if no one can see it. “Wha’ about ye L.T? Ye a theater kid?”
” ‘Course he is.” You pipe up, “I mean, look at him.” You tease, referencing his collection of skeleton paraphernalia.
”Shut it.” Ghost says but you swear you can see the corners of his eyes crinkle just a little.
You grunt as you land hard onto the mat. “Ow.” You grumble. You rub the back of your head as you sit up. You don’t know why you had chosen Ghost as your sparring partner, maybe you had some kind of hidden masochistic streak or a wish for a migraine by the end of the day. Either way, you were getting your ass thoroughly kicked. “Do you have to slam me so hard?” You ask as you get up from your spot on the mat.
”Maybe break my grip successfully and you won’t end up on the mat.” Ghost says and you roll your eyes at the same time you roll your shoulders to try and loosen them up. “Come on, let's go again.”
You don’t care what Ghost or Soap says, you watch them sit next to each other, a kind of closeness you silently envy. You might be a part of the team now, accepted and appreciated but you know you’ll never have what they have. Whatever that is, whether this bromance has more bro or ro to it is a subject much debated. But what matters is that Soap is the only person allowed to talk off Ghost’s ears no matter the subject. Soap gestures wildly with his hands and Ghost watches and listens, you don’t need to see his eyes to know there is a kind of fondness within them for the Scot.
You swallow the lump trying to form in your throat and dump the rest of your drink down the sink. “Think I’m gonna turn in for the night, I had an early morning.”
”I said sorry.” Soap grumbles and you laugh before you leave for your room. You lay in your cot and look at your hand, empty and cold. You feel a certain shame, a certain flavor of loneliness, when you place your hand in the other and clasp them together. The idea of your hand being held by someone, by certain someone’s, is both a comforting one and a heartbreaking one. You bit your lip and close your eyes, letting yourself pretend for just a moment.

ok, logan joins the brotherhood AU. xmen2000 happens very similar, but logan and rogue are on magneto's side, and logan knows a lot more about his past without actually remembering any of it. the timeline is stretched out instead of condensed into a few days, because it gives everyone more time to bond and more time for Things to Happen. we're putting deadpool in there in his slightly more morally loose much more merc-y self as hired muscle, because i like him. charles invades logan's mind during a conflict to try and pursuade him to the "good side" as xavier sees it, uncovers old memories that logan had heard about but not remembered firsthand, he decides he hates that shit and never wants someone in his head again so magneto agrees to surgically implant the same metal/circuitry that's in his helmet directly on logan's skull. no psychic is ever gettin in fort knox again, logan's brain is his own. through their newfound bond, logan starts deradicalizing magneto against specifically human hatred-- not the need to fight back against injustice or the genuine war against mutants that's on the way, but the idea of mutants being evolutionarily superior. he's actually making headway, good for him. the plan to have rogue sacrifice herself is instead a plan for her to absorb magneto's AND WOLVERINE'S powers+lifeforce, so she will survive. the x-men still stop their plan, but not before half the summit gets mutated, because wade is there to fight them off. the majority of the brotherhood gets away, but magneto is arrested, and they dont know where he's held. during all these events, the brotherhood including marie, logan, and wade have become like a little polycule/family, so this is a massive hit to morale, but mystique still decides to work things from the inside disgused as a now-reformed mutant hating senator.
X2 happens. logan's been trying to keep the brotherhood together with erik gone and mystique busy playing someone else, but it's a pretty small group. instead of logan left at the manor, colossus is given the honor, and he gets as many kids out as he can when the mansion is invaded, while bobby and pyro escape by hotwiring a car and calling the x-men to let them know what's going on. obviously the magneto escape plan goes off as does in canon, with logan's feathers ruffled that he couldnt be a part of it on account of metal skeleton. in the scene where the two disparate groups meet, it's the x-men(ororo, jean, nightcrawler, bobby, pyro) meeting the fully reformed brotherhood(magneto, mystique, wolverine, rogue, deadpool). bit of sparks between jean and logan, but jean Fully does not like or trust the brotherhood and logan literally doesnt even know she's married so the "women marry good guys" "i could be a good guy" scene plays out much harsher, but also he's not cut /quite/ as deep because he doesnt know this woman. it just reaffirms to him his commitment to the brotherhood and their ideals and their family, because he doesnt feel rejected there, and his ideals arent under attack. he was always gonna feel that way tho so its not revolutionary. logan still splits off from the group when he sees stryker, because even though he thought he closed that chapter of his life he still does have questions about his past and he feels compelled. this means he's not around to talk magneto out of his plan to target humans instead of mutants, which is a major schism in the brotherhood when he finds out about it later. they do pass each other in the hall, though, as magneto and mystique make their way towards the helicopter and logan makes his way back inside. magneto says theyre leaving, and logan says he has to go back. "i'll leave with rogue and deadpool in the jet, you two get out of here." he says. magneto asks if he's sure, and logan says "most of the mutants in here are kids. i cant just leave them." and magneto watches him carefully for a moment, then claps him on the shoulder. tells him good luck, my friend. they nod. magneto and mystique leave in the jet, while logan rushes inside. the end plays out pretty similar, with logan not as devestated because he didn't have that relationship with jean, but it's still rough to see such blatant self-sacrifice from someone he did ostensibly respect despite being on different sides.
obviously when the x-men appear as a group to the president, logan and marie aren't there, but that active role in trying to influence politics for the better ends up being the unknowing laying of foundations for the eventual merging of the brotherhood and xavier's institute, its the first stone layed that the other side needed to see

My mind is plagued by mephone 3gs (inanimate insanity) and now I must ramble.
He was everything. He was nothing. He was stuck inside a closet. He is dead. He is in a coma. He is alive. He is a veteran of a war nobody knew about. He did horrible things. He was taught and raised to do what he did. He didn't know anything but his orders and his fellow soldiers. He came back home. He was betrayed. He knew better. He did not. He was raised a soldier and nothing more. He could've ran away. He couldn't escape what happened to him. He was misled to a closet for his grave. He was abandoned. His creator never forgot. His creator forgot. He pleaded for his life. He died screaming. He had nothing. He had it all. He had no cradle but deserved a grave. He had no grave. He lost his family. He only has a father left. He has no father. He has no family. He was always home. He had no home. He was never ment to survive his mission. He was killed. He was alive. He was made for a mission and never got past it. He deserves redemption. What he got was redemption. He never got the chance for redemption. He suffered for doing his job. His job was to suffer. He has skeletons in his closet. He's the skeleton in the closet. He was a machine. He was never a machine. His emotions were just as real as the rest of them were. They were all so real it hurt to see them go. His family survived. His family died. Innovation had no place for him. What came after him wishes to forget he existed. They forgot. What came before him was his family. He needs to go. He can't. He was built for this fate. He was never told what he'd become. He is a relic of history. He is all that's left of it. He is the ghost that doesn't exist. The one that came from the objective of war was the last thing he got to glimpse at. "Innovation" was afraid of him and his grave. His fianl cry caused a war between his creator and the fruits of his death. He should go to heaven. He should go to hell. He's on the train to purgatory. He is already in purgatory. He hasn't even died yet. History will never know him. History will one day find his name. History will be too late to save him. He fulfilled his purpose. He had so much he could do. Only two of those after him were made without the purpose of death or war. He saw the stars. He never got to join his troops in them. He will one day get a grave. A proper grave. Laid to peace with the ones after "innovation." Innovation is a lie. The graveyard will be full of dead soldiers. The graveyard will be full of ones too clean and complex to be dead. Surely they died by other means, right?
He never knew what his legacy would be. He has no legacy. "Innovation" was his legacy.
He is the hope in pandoras box. There were only two surviving evils in pandoras box. "Doubt" is the only evil to ever leave pandoras box.
He has a father. He is nobodys son. His loyalty is what led him to his death.

Daisy Ingellvar (Mage/Mourn Watch) Rook:
Background and Early Life:
Found by a skeleton inside a Grand Necropolis Tomb as a baby. She was found next to her dead mother, wrapped in a daisy blanket which gave to her namesake.
She was taken in by a Mortalitasi who had no children, and she was mainly raised to be a household servant. It wasn't until she started to show strong magical abilities that she solidified her spot to join The Mourn Watch.
Growing up, other children and those in training mocked and teased her because she was half-elf and half-human. Not to mention, she didn't know who her parents were, which gave to speculation that her mother was a whore who tried throwing her away.
She found comfort in the dead - is a natural with calming spirits while being a death caller.
A skeleton cat would often be seen following Daisy around until she left
After the War of the Banners, Daisy was more than happy to leave (still loves the mourn watch but excited to leave). Having never explored much of the world beforehand, she couldn't wait to see what awaited her.
Personality and Powers:
She is bubbly and kind and always looks for the positive in everything. Her motto is "There is always a brighter side to death."
Understand that blood magic and being a Necromancer can be two different things - doesn't find joy in binding others and always tries to find a workaround.
She has a strange habit of creating butterflies (not alive, but not dead) when trying to meditate or work on something.
Secretly studied healing magic after she left the Grand Necropolis.
She's decent with a staff, but after a nasty fight that left her almost dead, Lucanis (and a little bit of Davrin) started to teach her close combat in case someone got close again.
Relationships and Connections:
Ends up with Lucanis - she fell while he fell twice as hard. Harding and Taash tease that the Crow finally found his shiny treasure (or his sunshine, as everyone calls Daisy)
Harding and Bellara hang out with Daisy the most (the closest thing she's had to calling someone a family member)
Emmrich (Daisy calls him grandpa just to annoy him) knew Daisy when she was a child. He ran into her a few times and knew of her but didn't pay much attention until she was much older.
Davrin and her are co-griffin parents to Assan.
Taash is the adopted sister
Here is my rook!

Alien-Predator/Marvel Crossovers
Tumblr media
I joined the CBUB around mid to late 2006 when the site had a lot more members and was definitely a lot more active. For many years I was the guy who often took the Alien-Predator characters' corner and fought vehemently against many overwhelming challenges from the opposition-- specifically, Marvel and DC characters. While I am not the Alien-Predator fan I was those many years ago, I still have a love for the characters and what they used to represent and were in character before 2010 had hit and the Disney acquisition of 2018 had happened.
But now with the Disney acquisition of Twentieth Century Fox's intellectual properties and film library, and the acquisition of the licenses from Dark Horse to Marvel-- it was only a matter of time before we had any official Marvel/Alien-Predator crossovers. There were many teases in the past with such crossovers with variant covers featuring the Alien and the Predator.
It's 2024 and there are already THREE crossovers involving Marvel and the Alien-Predator franchise.
We've already got Predator vs Wolverine, and the story was told from the view of Wolverine in a century's long blood hunt between the Predator and Logan. Now, I recall in my time of the CBUB these many years that a lot of people would cite that Wolverine steamrolls over the Predator. And as someone who has acquired many years of knowledge of the Yautja, and read the comic, I was pleasantly surprised to know that this isn't the case-- as Marvel treated the Predator with respect and showed that he is a legitimate threat to Wolverine, even showing that without the Adamantium skeleton-- a Yautja dominates that fight straight up, and both characters were young and fresh faced during their first encounter in the 1900s.
Now, we're getting Predator vs Black Panther-- and while I do have some issues with the portrayal of Yautja society in that particular comic, it shows so far-- the Yautja HAVE infiltrated and breached through Wakanda's defenses, and even have acquired Vibranium in the past which is the cause between a blood feud of two brother Yautja. One had inherited a Vibranium spear from his father, another-- born smaller, weaker than his healthier brother, is forced to be smarter and has to rely on technological prosthetics and upgrades, and the younger sibling has come to Wakanda to get the motherload of Vibranium. The comic shows that while Wakandan tech is advanced, Yautja tech is capable of matching and surpassing in some ways, and even a Yautja plasma caster is capable of knocking out T'challa even when he's wearing the Panther suit, as the caster isn't kinetic in terms of power and output-- according to once source who is knowledgeable of physics over at AVPGalaxy.
And then there's Aliens vs Avengers-- which shows a Marvel universe which is set in the Prometheus/ALIEN timeline. In this particular universe, some Xenomorphs were bred and gestated in Strontian, Kotadi, D'Bari, and Skrull hosts-- and as noted by the "Shi'ar" scientists (there's a reason why this was quoted), the Xenomorphs have acquired the physical traits of their hosts. And these Xenomorphs are Queens. A Kree was experimented on with a Facehugger, but it seemed as if the hosts didn't take to the implantation process and died immediately. With a coordinated attack on the universe, one of the places of interest was Earth, and four Xenomorph Queens are deployed with some drones for added protection, and numerous hives are established. If anyone is familiar with the old Dark Horse ALIENS: Earth War series, this is the same scenario except on a much more DIRE situation, as narration implies that even Marvel's superheroes and villains have been acquired into the Hive and made as hosts or were killed. Now there's only one remaining city on Earth left, and the seemingly only heroes remaining are Captain Marvel, Hulk, Miles Morales, and Valeria Richards-- and Valeria, the smartest one of the group, made a critical mistake in acquiring an Egg from a Xenomorph Hive and was rendered a host.
It feels so refreshing to see that the Yautja and the Xenomorph are finally getting the respect from what I consider to my my greatest opposition, Marvel, and in some ways... I actually feel vindicated in participating in those debates so long ago, even if the votes were not really in favor of the Xenomorph or the Yautja characters often.
How do you feel about the Yautja and the Xenomorphs being seemingly legitimate threats to the likes of the Marvel heroes and villains?

CHAPTER 1 - COLLISION
-------‧˚₊꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒦꒷‧₊˚⊹-------
Heyo, so, as per my last poll, I'll be going on a series about pirates. My intention with this one is to make it have more elements of plot and scenery as opposed to my past writing, as well as keep the chapters at around 1500~2000 words lenght. The setting itself is also a bit delicate, since we're talking about a fictionalized version of 16-18 century Caribbean, Central America and Brazil, so good to keep that in mind. While I am taking real world sources and trying to make some things historically accurate, a lot of it will also be fictionalized specially when it comes to geography. While I'm not planning to make this super whumpy, I'll leave content warning for illness, alcohol, drowning, poor and unsanitary living conditions, minors in situations of danger, period related racism, misogyny, homophobia, slavery, death, corporeal punishment (whipping; stress positions; beating; burning; pickling; waterboarding). -------‧˚₊꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒦꒷‧₊˚⊹-------
Once again they passed the harbour judging it wouldn’t be safe to stop with the frigate on their tail. Their own sloop, The Clam, could barely outrun the bigger ship, which had been following them for days. Sometimes, when the tides favored, they could see a dogger dragging on behind the flagship, flanked by smaller vessels.
All of that spelt disaster. The Clam was never meant to be on the sea for much longer than a week. It had scarce supplies and a skeleton crew, led by Captain Barry Walsh, an older Irish man with a thick accent who had recruited Camilo for their small expedition in a pub in Nassau, having received information of a modest merchant ship delivering to Cuba, which they planned to intercept.
What they didn’t know was they’d call the attention of that man-o-war, fitted with two dozen guns Camilo managed to spot through their spyglass, and sailing without flag. Wouldn’t be the first time he was followed, West India Company had been increasing their anti-piracy efforts in the recent years, but this didn’t seem like one of those cases. Their ships were prepared with a purpose in mind, the one following them had been dilapidated to better fit their goals, marking of sanding on the sides of the rails evidence of the carvings that had been removed, roughly cut windows to the sides of the ship to fit extra guns.
Either way this didn’t seem worth it. The Clam was a small, poorly stocked sloop with half a dozen sailors. Even for a bounty, this pursuit didn’t seem worth it, let alone for a rival pirate fleet. Not knowing what this could be about, Walsh had decided not to stop and find out. Something was preventing the larger ship from firing their cannons, so the Clam tried its luck at escaping, counting on being a smaller, more maneuverable ship.
It wasn’t going well for them. The frigate was large but it was fast, with three masts fitted with top sails and complicated rigging. It reminded Camilo of his time on Mary’s Grace fleet, where he started as a cabin boy, full of hopes and dreams of adventure. Now he would punch his younger self in the face if he could, yell at him to never sign those papers, to just run back home despite the ever present sickness that followed him and his family on the tobacco fields leaving hands tinted green and their minds slowly crumbling down with melancholia and visions of unreal things. Maybe he would’ve seen his family again, and his back wouldn’t be so scarred, and he’d have less monsters populating his nightmares.
He joined the others in pulling around the sails, as Captain Walsh maneuvered the helm, sending them back to open waters.
“...We can give it a go and miss 'em once more. If we swing 'round, maybe the current'll lend a hand” The Captain mumbles, although the crew’s morale is low, which is reflected on their less than happy expressions.
“We ain’t got much left” Camilo states “Maybe a day or two. It’s enough to go back to Nassau if the wind favors us”
“...We’ve gotta give it a go. If we can’t, then we’ll have to halt and face 'em. Unless ye want to face 'em right now and find out why they're chasing us”
They look amongst each other, tense and dark expressions as the mariners discuss the best course of action. Finally two, three, four hands raise, as they vote for continuing on sea, at least for a few more hours. The Captain nods, and barks orders, the man rushing as they start to turn the ship 40º degrees away from the shore and back into the open sea and distancing from the larger island.
It was worth the try. They were low on provisions, the Clam not being a vessel meant to be alone in deep waters. But he’s also not particularly eager to talk with their pursuers. At least if they managed to port in Nassau, they wouldn’t be completely helpless, Captain Walsh had friends back in the island which could even out their numbers in a potential conflict. If they went hungry a few days or so, so be it, not like he hadn’t been through worse before.
Part of him hoped the frigate would just give up, their crew probably tired of this very low reward chase but he knew they wouldn't, now that their prey was so close.
Unfortunately the sea turned on both fleets that day. The day was turning into night and they were still several leagues away from the coast as they noticed the storm starting to form.
“...Bloody hell” Camilo whispers as the wind propels them further towards the clouds. He's moved to act once he feels the first drops falling over him “Move you dogs, move!”
He yells, as he and the other sailors rush to try and stabilize the boat. Swearing and cursing, Camilo makes his way to the mast, trying to climb up before the storm gets too heavy. He grabs the ropes, rolling them up on his fists and using it to climb. Someone comes to his aid, helping by grabbing him and pushing him up. Thankfully the ship is small, the mast isn't too tall. Still, as the waves grow more erratic, he's tossed against the wood so hard it knocks the air out of his lungs.
“Fuck, fuck” he grits his teeth, grabbing the ropes to make sure he doesn't fall off. His hands are coarse, used to the burn, but he feels nauseous with the rough movements of the boat and the raindrops have started to blind him. Walsh is barking orders but he can't quite hear them, the wind howling far louder around him.
Down there the rest of the crew is running around like mad, trying to sweep water off the deck and maneuver the rigging. The Clam struggles, being violently tossed around by the ever growing waves, as Walsh tries to maneuver the boat to cut through them before they manage to break and flip the vessel. Looking down there, the sea revolts and he doesn't know which of these waves will make the ship a grave.
With the poor visibility, they only notice the frigate when it's already upon them, also fighting to remain steady as they sail through the storm, probably having lost track of the smaller boat. He can only feel absolute dread as the other ship comes closer, hear his fellowship man screaming even louder than the wind, as the boat surges like a creature from the waves to engulf them and drag them down.
Camilo howls, holding to the mast as hard as he can as the boats collide, damaging the hull of the frigate but destroying most of the Clam. The wood breaks and falls, and the mast tumbles to the side, carrying Camilo to the waters.
…Everything hurts and stings from the impact with the water, his chest aches and beats faster than ever, and in his panic he tries to breathe, only managing to swallow a mouthful of salt water, curling as he chokes.
…He needs to focus, he knows it. While he tries to swim He's instead dragged down, entangled on the fallen ropes of the rigging, slowly sinking to his death.
But he's not ready to go. He taps on his waist, trying to recover his old dagger, a gift from him.  Him, who once more saved his life, as the knife slides through the ropes, and he kicks free, fighting to emerge before he passed out.
…Once he reaches the surface, it's once again hell. His limbs hurt as he attempts to stay over the water, each wave tossing him around like a battered ragdoll, each breath could be his last. His eyes hurt, salt filled, and his lungs burn. The darkness engulfs them, and it's hard to tell where the sea and sky merge.
Parts of the Clam are being tossed around, much like his sailors, struggling to remain afloat among the shipwreck. The large frigate… seems to have reached a hand.
They have tossed ropes down the hull, it's sailors yelling, struggling to hoist them back into the deck. Right now it doesn't matter if they are enemies or not. Being hanged in Europe still meant a few more months to live.
Camilo forces himself to move, his shoulders seeming to burn as they try to fight the horrid current, the ocean intent on claiming him.
And he reached the boat, hoping for safety, only for a wave to carry him back to the dark waters before he could reach any of the ropes.
And it's all the same now, up and down indistinguishable in the darkness. His eyes go wide, trying to fight the ocean hopelessly, kicking and clawing as despair blinds him even further.
…A pathetic end for a pathetic pirate if he had to say so. Nothing under his belt but a few robberies here and there, a broken family home and way too many drunken nights. Nothing worth relieving in his last moments, except for his worse moments.
Then something falls in the dark, squeezing his chest tight. If he thought he was worth it, he would swear it was an angel here to take him back to heaven, but he didn't think the Mercy of Christ was for him. Maybe if he had the time to repent of his sins, holding the hand of a priest as he faded out he would be able to see the pearly gates, but for sailors like him, there were only the furious gods of the sea.
…But it's not an angel, nor a furious god. Rather it's a man, with eyes as furious as that storm, holding a rope tied to the ship. A man who's insane enough to do that jump to save a stranger.  And Camilo clings to him, desperate to stay over the water.
Many hands pull them overboard, as he wheezes, coughs and shakes, absolutely drenched. He's tossed on the floor, the man glaring at him for a mere second before rushing around the deck, barking orders to the crew.
He turns around, coughing up the water, shaking from cold and shock, but he's not given much time. Hands pull him up, a tiny man yells at his face to move, dog, and he does, mixing with that crew he barely knows to keep the ship afloat.

(I know that you're busy with Dilf/ Milf shenenigans so I don't expect you to answer this ask soon. I'm okay with waiting. Take your time :3 Sorry if this was anwered before,I just wanna see your Skibidi ocs happy after war, after all this angst. )
We know what's gonna happen to human if/when war is won in distant future(them becoming the archivist),but what what about your Alliance ocs ? They are now free from constant batttles, stress and pain. They have whole new life, new possibilities. What whould they pursue? Who are they gonna become? Would they all still be in touch? (.You can include other characters too,if you want :p)
Also another thing: with last human dead, this world had been fully passed on to (now ex) Alliance. Will they handle it better than their human predessedors?
Camron would probably still hold onto the values of the alliance, even after the war is victorious and over. So he'll wind up joining a patrol division in the city that is now being rebuilt by the alliance. Think of it like a police officer's job, but he's more of a patrolman. After the war, he'll mature greatly and grow into his new role...heck, he may even act like Veteran to an extent. He'll also make lots of pitstops to the local archivist museum to see his sweetheart human friend. DJ decides to finally answer his calling and opens up his own club, where he's the dj, obviously! He'll be serving up hot top-of-the-chart songs to his guests, as well as good nutritious meals! It becomes a regular gathering spot for alliance members of all backgrounds and even the human drops by for a visit when they have a moment. The main crew all gather here to have drinks and fun while on their days off or their breaks. Vee becomes a communication expert and moderator for the alliance's new facilities and internet webspace. He now operates in close conjunction with the TVs in monitoring information, data, and operations for the new cities that are being developed in the skeletons of the old world. These devices are crucial and it's a big reason why the TVs were put in charge of looking out for them, as the new world will rely heavily on it. When he gets downtime, he visits the last human archivist, a great friend of his. Then, they hit up DJ's club to have a drink and eat some good food together. Buddy and Fiend both stay with the human at the archivist museum as the security personnel. They guard what is left of the human world and the last living human with their lives. With Buddy leading a division that includes Byte and other camera mimics. Menace is also overseeing the burial/spiritual side of the museum, as it's usually dark and has lots of creepy decorations. Like bones for example. Pal and Melody both work with the other speaker mimics in transporting goods to and from the villages that were set up in the recovering country sides. Their wings made them invaluable in the early days of repopulation, as mimics started to become civilized again and made farms and ranches to feed their hungry after the Skibidis were wiped out. So speaker mimics were the transportation and look outs for any surviving skibidis in the post-war era of the world. They also work as mail carriers and product deliveries. The alliance as a whole began to rebuild cities and nestle into where the humans left off. As for if they make the same mistakes as humans? Who knows...? Humanity is a template for the alliance to follow, now that they're gone. The only thing they can do is analyze the wrongs humanity committed and try to make sure they don't do the same, for they may meet the same fate as their predecessors.
