So I got this idea about a Zosan Soulmate AU and just had to write a little bit about it. I don't know how fast I can update this, but its a start and I’m going to keep writing it 😊
My Name on your tongue
Part 1
Paring: Zosan (maybe Sanzo, too)
Soulmate AU
Triggers: Child abuse, swear words, death
Six years old
“In our world, you get something very special when you turn 18. You get to summon a familiar - an animal, mythical or natural - that will be your companion throughout your whole life. The animal you summon is based on what you need in life and what fits you. No one knows who’s assigning the animal to you, but it always fits.
Now, if you are very passionate and loving toward your familiar and it returns that feeling, there is a chance that it will turn into a human and become your soulmate. But this only happens when there exists such a strong bond that both of you would endure the greatest pain imaginable for the other. The bond has to be so strong that you’d die for each other.
Most people don't put in the effort because why go to that length for an animal? Also, there is no greater need to be with your soulmate unless your familiar turns into it. You can perfectly live without ever getting your soulmate.”
“Is father your soulmate?” Sanji wanted to know, looking up at his mum.
Sora shook her head, her expression somewhat painful, but her son didn't pick up on that fact.
“But…you don't have a familiar around.”
“I know,” Sora swallowed drily. “She…she died. She wanted to protect me and got badly injured. I couldn't help her.”
Sanji looked shocked at her.
“I’m sorry…”
He snuggled against his mother to comfort her. She smiled sadly and brushed a hand through his blond hair.
“When you get your familiar, make sure to protect them. It’s a really bad feeling to lose them forever.”
“I promise. And I will love them so much! I can't wait to meet them!”
Sanji was so different from his siblings, and Sora was thankful for that, but she knew that he would have it worse than them. While pregnant with him and his three brothers, her husband genetically modified them - against Sora’s will. He made them stronger, more durable - as he called it - faster and better in anything. He got rid of their emotions and made sure they would become his best soldiers. In doing this, he also hoped to influence the familiar they’d get. He wanted them to have big, brutal animals - monsters to make their enemies shake in fear. Sora had watched him silently get rid of the emotions and feelings of their oldest child, their daughter Rejiu. He somehow managed to manipulate her into an obedient, emotionless kid, strong and fast, and an expert in poisons despite her young age. She was his first perfect soldier.
But Sora wasn't standing by as he tried to corrupt her other children! So, after learning about Judges doing, Sora took a poison to destroy the modifications. Unfortunately, it only worked on Sanji. On the one hand, she was happy for him; on the other, she was sad and devastated. Sanji would never have any worth for his father; he’d always be the failure, and she was the reason why.
Although Sanji always smiled when he came to visit, she saw the bruises and cuts. She saw the pain behind his young eyes. She knew what his siblings and father were doing to him, and she could do nothing to stop them. So she always tried to give him the best times when he came to visit her. Unfortunately, the poison she took destroyed her body and made her bedbound.
Hugging Sanji tightly, she did her best not to start to cry. She knew that her days were counted…and it would be the end of the night when she would leave Sanji behind to deal with everything all by himself. The only ray of light was that at least on his eighteenth birthday, he would get a familiar that surely would protect him. That was why she told him all about familiars! She wanted him to know as much as possible, as much as humanity found out about them. Sanji sucked everything up like a sponge!
The only thing she wasn't allowed to tell him was how to summon his familiar. Because if a familiar was summoned before the eighteenth birthday, there were terrible side effects. Sometimes, the familiar wasn't fully developed….like the child. Other times, the child couldn't hold the image of the familiar (which was important), and it would turn out deformed. And then there were times when the familiar was an adult and got really protective and possessive of the child - sometimes so much it had to be put down because no one could touch the child without getting attacked, even when the kid was hurt, starving or anything else putting its life in danger. So she wouldn't tell Sanji - even if a protective familiar wouldn't be the worst…she wanted them to have a chance at getting real friends, and Sora hoped Sanji would be allowed to find his soulmate. She hoped he could experience this purest kind of love in the world.
“You need to go,” Sora mumbled into Sanji’s hair. “It’s past visiting time.”
“I don't want to…”
“I know, love. I know. But your father will get mad if you stay, and you know that.”
Sanji nodded, suppressing sobs, as he pulled away from his mother. He lifted his head and smiled at her.
“I’ll come again tomorrow.”
“Yeah, do that. I can't wait to see you again, my little angel.”
Sora hugged him tight and placed a kiss on top of his head. Why should she tell him that she wouldn't be there in the morning? It would only upset him and make him sad and guilty. She felt her spirits leave her body slowly but surely. At the end of the night, she’d be dead, and Sanji would be alone. Before she let him go, she brushed a hand through his hair and made him look up into her eyes.
“Remember that I will always love you, my little sunshine. Regardless of what will happen in your future. I’ll love you every day of your life and after it.”
Sanji looked a bit confused, but as soon as Sora smiled, he smiled back, placed a quick, wet kiss on her cheek and ran out - so his father wouldn't punish him.
~
“Useless!”
“I’m trying…” Sanji sobbed, holding the side of his face - it pulsed with pain, and he was sure his lip was bleeding.
“That's the point!” His father yelled. “You are trying! You shouldn't have to try! You should be able just to do it!”
“But I…” another blow, and Sanji flew backward against a pillar of the training room - he groaned in pain when he hit the stone with full force.
“You are weak! A false experiment! A fucking failure! I should just get rid of you!”
Judge was towering over his son like death himself. And Sanji couldn't do anything different than feel fear and hurt and disgust at his own body. The poison from his father's lips seeped into his mind and planted a dangerous seed. He cried when Judge grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and held him up to his face.
“And that's why you don't have a familiar. You will never get one! Never! I took that ability from you because it would be as weak as you are, and I don't have use for two failures in my kingdom!”
Sanji sobbed uncontrollably. Ever since he asked his father about his own familiar - which was a big, dragon-like creature always lurking behind his throne - he left no chance unused to point out that Sanji would never have one. Sanji didn't understand why he would rip this opportunity from him, why he was such a mistake in his father's eyes. Just because he wasn't as strong as his siblings? Because his skin started to bleed when cut or punched hard enough? Because he cried when he got hurt?
“Get out of my sight before I start losing my temper,” Judge growled and tossed him aside like a back of garbage.
Sanji scrambled to his feet and ran from the training room, hoping his brothers wouldn't wait outside like they did most of the time. His hopes crashed when he closed the door, and laughter sounded behind him.
“Look at that,” Yonji said.
“The weakling is back out,” Ichiji grinned.
“Seems like he still can't handle a punch,” Niji snickered.
His brothers gathered around him, laughing and pointing at him. Sanji felt tears in his eyes but tried to swallow them. He hated to cry in front of his brothers, just as much as he hated to do so in front of his father. His eyes searched for pink hair, and surely, he found his sister, standing in the background but grinning as evil as the rest of them.
“Leave me alone,” he sobbed - knowing very well it would turn in the opposite of what he wanted…but he couldn’t stop himself from saying it.
“What?”
“We couldn’t hear you over all your whining.”
“I think he said we should show him how to fight.”
And a blink of an eye later, he crashed against the wall and slid down to the floor. Lying there, he curled up into a ball to at least try and shield his stomach and face from the kicks and blows that rained down on him like a hailstorm.
In the end, he was beaten bloody, and they left him where he was lying. His eyes stared into nothingness while his tears mixed with the blood and formed little puddles on the floor.
Hours later, he was able to drag himself to his bedroom. Curling up in his bed, Sanji felt tears in his eyes again.
“Why?” He cried into his pillow. “Why am I not like them? Why do I have to be this way?”
He knew why, his mother had told him, but still…There were moments when he hated his emotions, and he would give them up just to see the same smile on his father's face, pointed at him like he was giving his siblings.
He was worthless, and that's also why he would never have a familiar, which made him cry even more. Since his mother died two months ago, he always comforted himself with the knowledge that he’d get a chance to meet his soulmate. But because he was weak, because of his emotions, Judge took this ability, this gift from him. The first time he mentioned it to Sanji, his whole world was shattered. He didn't even feel the hits his father was dealing. He was numb…almost lifeless. The only thing he was looking forward to - the only thing that made his little heart and mind strong enough to survive and not give up - was the reassuring thought of meeting his familiar.
After his breakdown, he thought maybe, if he got better, if he could prove to his father that he was worth keeping around…maybe he would give him the ability to get his familiar back.
“I have to…get stronger…” Sanji sobbed while drifting to sleep.
All he wanted was to be loved and be part of this family…

Okay, we all know being a demigod is a shit position. Its scary and gets you killed in really nasty ways. But I feel like being a Big Three Kid has to be the shitiest position in all the shit positions.
Like, imagine being Thalia Grace. Your dad is king of the gods, lord of the skies. Led a war to get rid of a tyrant. And the only thing you get is his scorned wife AND brother, who both try to kill you (with one technically succeeding), a drunk of a mother, and brother who you thought was dead. Oh, wait, he’s not dead! No instead he was used as an offering to appease your dad’s wife and help fight in a war and prevent mass destruction.
Or maybe you can imagine being Percy. Son of the sea god, the stormbringer, the earthshaker. You get to live with a disgusting, abusive man for around 6 years. Who smells like literal shit. All because your scent as a demigod is too strong, BECAUSE of who your father is. You see things that you aren’t supposed to see and do things that people can’t do and go years thinking something is wrong with you. That your the problem. Then you get to the one place where you’re supposed to be save. But! Here is the kicker! You’re not! Your uncles hate you and you’ve been accused of stealing a symbol of power. A series of events that will kick off a war, and guess what. You’re a center point for it. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood.
Mhm, but then there’s Hazel. Daughter Pluto, god of the underworld and riches. But that doesn’t really change anything does it? She’s still living in 1930s America, in a red state. One where confederate flags still hang if you go deep enough into the city. She go to a school where the kids are supposed to be just like her! They still don’t like her tho. She’s got no idea who your father is, only that he left her with a parting gift. Only it’s not really a gift. Sure, she can pull rubies and diamonds from the earth, all worth millions. But anyone who’s ever gonna touch it will die. She lives with her mother, a woman gone so mad with greed it kills her. And Hazel, by the way. Laying dead Alaska, inhaling oil. But it doesn’t end there! She can’t have her mother suffering for eternity, can she? The answer is no. Hazel gets to spend the next 70 years in the Fields of Asphodel. It still doesn’t end! Because when she’s brought back to life, she gets to fight in a war against giants, her sad story seemingly never ending.
Nico’s a son of one of the Big Three, one of the most ancient and most powerful. But most people look at him as something bad, something not worth taking a second glance at. Something too look away from, mostly. He’s from the 30s, spent years in a magical time casino with only his sister at his side. She doesn’t stay for long though, she dies soon after they discover their heritage. And he doesn’t remember his mother much, a name without a face. A face without a name. He survived an attempted assassination at 2, though it wouldn’t be the only time his was life was threatened. He clings to his sister, even though she’s dead. He’s the son of the god of the underworld, is he not? There had to be a way, and there is. Only she won’t talk to him, she seems more concerned with communicating with the guy who got her killed instead. She chooses rebirth, and he decides to lay it to rest. She’s not coming back, and he has a war to fight in. (He gets stuck in a jar and forcibly outed a few years later, but that’s a lot to get into for now.)
Jason Grace is a pillar of New Rome, their golden boy, their American boy. He’s a son of Jupiter, a natural born leader. He’s been at camp for as long as he can remember, he wants to be praetor soon. He’s had a rocky start, but maybe he’ll be one of the lucky ones. Retire a veteran and live a long life with Reyna in New Rome. Only that never happened. He has no idea where he is, there’s a girl holding his hand, and she’s cute but it feels wrong. They get attacked and people come in and call him a Greek demigod, familiar, yes, but still wrong. It doesn’t feel right. It doesn’t put things into perspective the way it does for Piper and Leo. He’s goes to a quest to rescue Hera, the name sounds wrong. He nearly dies but at least he remembers who he is. He spends the next 6 months trying to get back home, even though he isn’t too sure on where or what home is. He gets there, eventually, but it doesn’t stop there. He’s dragged on quests and battles and fights in the war but at least he survives it, he’s still there. Apollo needs help, he and Piper give him aid. He gets dumped. He doesn’t get to he a veteran in New Rome. Not with Reyna, not with Piper, not with anybody. He doesn’t get kids or grandkids. No, he gets shot down, another demigod buried.
You could be any one of them, really. Pick your poison, but I guarantee you won’t like any of them. Spending years trying to find a place where you belong, where you feel safe. Only for it to never come.
Percy, who, if you really look at the books, isn’t really all that well liked until he’s at least 2 years into camp. Only to then be sidelined because the courages, brave, fearless daughter of Zeus is back from the dead. Nico, the son of one of the most feared and hated gods. Who has death written all over him, who excludes it so much animals can smell it and humans can sense it, who’s been ostracized and pushed off to the side since he was 10. Hazel, who was treated like disease as soon as she stepped foot on camp soil. Who’s gone her whole life looked as something that’s cursed, that will only bring misfortune, a bad omen.
Shit positions, all of them.

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 51 (Unflirty Heather Said 'No More Free Love!')
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Brindleton Pawspital was always a hotbed for local gossip. More than once, Heather caught her employees and her customers cheating on their spouses in the lobby - sometimes even in the exam rooms!
Heather was so unflirty, the town's hands-off approach to extramarital romance had started to get a little disturbing. And now she had a boyfriend in town, so the last thing she wanted to think about was "free love."
None of it should have been any of her business, but she could get drawn into salacious rumours as much as the next person - especially if they were making out right under her nose!
But she had a hunch one such rumour would interest her mother, and called her one morning to pass on what she'd learned.
"I heard a rumour about the old creature keeper and grocer from Henford. You remember Hayes Harms and Abby Goldbloom, don't you?"
"Of course! They moved to Brindleton Bay and had three children together! It was a lovely happy ending to all those years of pining."
"Apparently it wasn't always happy ever after once they got here. Do you remember that old vet tech who used to work here when I was in high school? Our pets loved her, but then she left town without a trace and no one ever heard from her again."
Tumblr media
"Emi Kudo! She was so sweet. I always wondered what happened to her!"
"I overheard someone at the clinic say she left town pregnant with Hayes' baby when he chose his wife over his mistress!"
(She had twins, and she lives in world. I know where she is and she will be back. Less so for her and moreso because one of those twins is evil and I've earmarked them to be hated by all of us for good reason in the future, so that'll be fun!)
Daisy gasped. "You're kidding? He did that to his wife?! He was always so quiet and unassuming."
"It might not be true. I'm not about to talk to the Harms, but if it is true, he might've been influenced by the free love action plan. It makes people flirty with people they barely know, or know are married. They're practically possessed. And all for influence! I can't imagine seeing someone else flirt with Conrad!"
"So maybe you should try to repeal it," suggested her mother. "Your father spearheaded a couple campaigns to get rid of things like public fighting here in Henford, and with how popular you and your clinic are, you should be able to get enough signatures in no time."
Taking her mother's advice, Heather started working to convince the locals to repeal the provision and replace it with something less scandalous, like support for performing arts.
Tumblr media
Campaigning was going well, and she was happy to see Cassandra's brother Alexander one morning when he arrived with one of the Goth family cats. "Al, hi! How was the honeymoon in Sulani?"
"It was incredible. Lydia didn't want to leave."
"I hear it's beautiful there. But I expected to see your mother with Frankie today. Is she alright?"
"Oh, she'll be fine. She's just packing up Diego's things and she'll either be throwing them into the bay or taking them over to the Chopra place down the road. I don't think she's decided yet."
"What do you mean? What happened?"
"She found Diego in bed with Rahul Chopra. She broke up with him on the spot and I heard Diego and Rahul ran down to the courthouse to get married the same day."
"I'm stunned," said Heather. "Who gets left by their partner for another man twice but your poor mother? I'm so sorry."
Tumblr media
"Don't be. She was fine after my father left and she knows she'll be fine again. She has no intention of being anything less than fabulous this time around, too. She's already talking about taking a trip to Ciudad Enamorada to test out the singles scene."
Heather chuckled. "I believe it." She grabbed the clipboard next to her espresso machine. "I'm not sure if you checked the community board on your way in, but I'm actually sponsoring a repeal of the free love action plan this weekend. It won't stop everyone from unnecessary public displays of affection, but it might be nice if your mother's next partner is a little less focused on scoring romantic influence points around town."
Alexander reached for her pen. "I know my mother can take care of herself, but I'm happy to sign it. Lydia's the only one for me as it is."
Once Alexander signed the petition, she had enough signatures for it to pass. Though a few of the town's randier residents were unhappy, most Brindletonians appreciated that their marriages were now much less under threat.
Tumblr media
Heather returned home to find her son and Conrad laughing and playing helicopter upstairs, and she smiled with gratitude. ->
<- Previous Chapter | Gen 2 Start | Gen 1 Summary | Gen 1 Start
NOTE: Diego really did this and I was so annoyed. I went out of my way to hook up this randomly generated townie spawn with THE Bella Goth after she thought he was handsome, and spent way too much of my time during Cassandra and River's wedding building up their friendship and flirting. The one thing I didn't do was get them married because it felt way too soon. And he repaid me like this!
One might say it was the final straw in the Watcher's tolerance for the Romantic Aura neighbourhood action plan that had been on by default since Heather moved, and set my unflirty sim in motion. 😂 Although I'm big on control over sims in-world and that's the real reason I don't like this action plan, Heather's negative moodlets from catching the cheaters messed with her work so it had to go. When she was upset she couldn't be warm with animals, so she couldn't start exams unless she was rude, which meant exams were taken by her less-skilled vet techs and didn't help the rating I'm already struggling to raise!
FUN(?) FACT: I never got any good screenshots of the cheating because it always happened out of nowhere with sims I had no control over, so I tried to stage some to set up this post (AFTER the repeal because I'm so good at this!) and Liberty (Lee) Huntington understood the assignment just enough, but this is how Brant Hecking reacted to getting hit on by Mitchell Kalani 🙉 😂:

Hi hello! I have some questions Do u have any thoughts/hcs bout mother of alberto's son? if i remember correctly u mentioned one hc that mother could be eleonore, Henry's mother. Also do u have thoughts about the son itself? Like i think he's in sicily bc clemente is paranoid and its like. To protect his son? But like do u think that his son also had involved in the criminal? Or clemente kept him away from it? Also interesting that he decided to keep the kid, like uh men more often abandon children w mothers and it's vice versa here Sorry for many questions, ure the n1 clemente enjoyer and im genuinely interested in ur thoughts bout this (n maybe smth related that i didn't mention?) And hope u're doin well 💓🙏
first of all thank you sm for the title, even if it is undeserved. also im doing as well as one can be, and i shall wish good being on anyone who is reading this at the moment too 👍
also like i do think about this really often and it’s like been on my mind many times, so im prepared (i hope)
i think i did mention one time it might be his mother but actually i like to move to it being like some kind of relative to henry, most likely an aunt or a cousin. someone close to the family but not closely related to henry. cause like, if they did have a child and were unmarried, not to mention young since it happened what clemente was still in sicily (i like to think that their son was conceived before clemente went and had to hide for killing the police captain, with fabiano being born after he went into hiding - part of why he’s still in sicily ((i like to think that the tomasinos took care of him since he was a child of their whatever she could be). clemente is probably leaving him there because a) it’s better for him and b) the kid doesn’t even know him properly), they were both in trouble. and with alberto not really caring about the rules of mafia (he breaks them left and right), i feel like there must be more to this than just knowing henry’s father and being in debt (otherwise why would clemente accept henry, especially if the guy seems like he fucks up everything he touches. he would’ve at least get rid of him later after henry’s father’s death).
i also like to believe that clemente actually loved her, because idk, it feels right, especially since he doesn’t seem to have anyone else after, not in america at least (could mean nothing but i am getting attached to this nonexistent girl). got a feeling like she might’ve died in childbirth, leaving clemente even more in debt to the tomasinos — not only did he have a child with her but she died during delivery of said child and he even ditched before the boy was born. probably why the fbi even knows about the kid, he’s like sentimental and fabiano is the only reminder he has of his late whatever she was. the kid probably has his surname, by his own wish.
to be completely honest i feel like fabiano would be interested in crime but not really allowed. like when he stayed with the tomasinos he was so young that silvio wouldn’t let him do anything and to be honest after his death idk what would’ve happened to the kid. most likely got into states too with some of henry’s brothers. maybe despises his father who left him (even if it was the best thing to do and fabiano knows this, he’s just not ready to accept it). probably staying under some different name. wanted to put him into new bordeaux just for the fun of it, like that he might be a bartender there or something. living normal life away from the shit his father does for a living.
as to the girl i think she might’ve been a bit naive to believe everything clemente told her about their future. then again, they were young and i love so who can blame her for believing and him for telling lies :(. she was probably some nice girl, very familiar to how i imagine betty was. just a girl that fell for the wrong guy and ended up paying for it, even if not really because of the criminal aspect but still.
sorry for the long ass text and stuff, got tiny bit excited i’m afraid. either way don’t take this too seriously pls cause i’m not a good thinker like the rest of my very talented fandom folks, so it’s probably really bad 😭 also i do not want to grammar check this so plz ignore the mistakes in this 🙏

How did Wolfgang get along with the bethels, rosens, and darrows? I'd imagine he'd be an outsider of some kind (he has no surname) but hung around the clowders enough to be friendly with the darrows, at least to sire a child with one of them. Which would make kind of a funny situation where the darrows would look at Rook and go 😶😶.
I wonder if Rook's parentage is an open secret of sorts because they take after their father the most and that clowders are aware that Darcy and Wolfgang had a kid. Or if the bethels/rosens didn't know that the killer darrow had a kid or even knew Wolfgang well enough where he basically dropped his kid on the rosens' hypothetical firestation entrance (as you do with kids you don't want lmao) without bringing suspicion to him. I say that without including the darrows because maybe they do know that Darcy had a kid but chose to keep it a secret in order to like. Not mystify a serial killer and make her seem more mysterious and """cool""" in that creepy true crime obsession way.
Forbidden romance, mayhaps, with the mysterious outsider falling in love with the curious yet off-putting hunting shack cat? OR even that Wolfgang was a part of the clowders but got rid of his surname after all was said and done to cut himself off from everything. But then there's the question of little Rook again and his parents because if Wolfgang was a bethel/rosen/darrow and left, they would wonder who the other parent was and might even start speculate that the infamous Darcy Darrow was the other parent since the timeline of events lines up perfectly. Interesting stuff to ponder, and I did not expect to write this much :o. Kudos for setting such a good plot/lore for readers to speculate. 👍👍
i can probably explain most of this but there are a couple crucial details missing because i don’t want to spoil anything, lol!
wolfgang was a “wanderer” - a cat with no clowder/colony. he appeared one day in town and never met the bethels or the rosens and actually most of the darrows! he and darcy had a very private relationship and only milk witnessed their first meeting. when he met darcy it was a “love at first sight” kind of deal and he tried to visit her as often as he could even if it infuriated her mother. eventually, darcy left with him after she killed shiver.
wolfgang is such a mysterious figure that his reputation in the clowders varies from cat to cat. he’s either darcy’s partner in crime, a sad victim manipulated by his partner, OR the cat who manipulated her. no one knows the truth. milk blames him for coercing darcy onto a darker path, even though she believed darcy was destined for bloodshed from the start.
as for what happened with rook, milk found and took them after darcy passed. she did not want to keep them so she left them at the rosens. wolfgang was nowhere to be found. milk says she smelled him nearby when darcy died, which means he likely witnessed her killing. maybe he was too overcome with horror and grief over his loss, to the point where he forgot about his tiny child, or maybe he figured his work was finished and left to corrupt another cat (as milk would say). who knows!
the clowders know about rook’s parents. darcy’s pregnancy was never a secret because milk just told everyone. i mean, darcy thought it was a secret. she thought she was doing great keeping a low profile. milk kept tabs on her daughter while she was still alive and killing, and therefore knew most of what was going on. darcy and wolfgang figured their inner world was hidden, but milk watched and waited.

Cricket is a 100% dead by the time their Kid is looking into things, but not sure on Asa...
Scenario 1: Asa is also dead by this point (Arkin's doing or someone else?), so the kid has to piece the situation together on their own.
Scenario 2: Asa is alive, but in jail and refuses to talk to anybody or answer any questions, until this person who looks like him, but has Cricket's eyes comes to pay him a visit.
Scenario: Asa is alive and free, but more isolated (very much still killing, but the satisfaction he got from it has dulled since Cricket died) and somebody actually found out where he is and he's about to get rid of them when he sees Cricket's eyes in somebody else's face and stops dead in his tracks.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anon. Anon. Your beautiful mind hath bewitched me.
In Scenario 1, I wonder what the kid would feel when they found the answers they went looking for? Probably many things all at once: Regret they never got to meet their real parents. Relief they never HAD to meet their real parents. Gratitude for the life they got instead of the life that could have been. Sadness for their mother and what she endured. Hate for their father and what he did to their mother and all the others. Confusion and conflict when they piece together all the little clues that prove their father really did love their mother in the only way he knew how.
In Scenarios 2 and 3, can you imagine the weight of the emotions that crush Asa when he looks into those familiar eyes?? All those feels he’s been fighting since she died would take his breath away. He almost asks who this kid is, but stops himself because it’s absolutely obvious who it is. Would he give them the answers they seek? Would he refuse to say a word because talking about Cricket is just too hard?
Would he collect them, in Scenario 3?? Would having this little piece of Cricket be a small relief? Or, would keeping them around be too painful?
Imagine if this kid inherited a few of Cricket’s mannerisms. The way they hold a cup or the way they blink when they are surprised—just like she did—would be like a punch in the gut to Asa.

Absolute Justice.
On Ao3.
The massive destruction will take weeks or months to repair. But of course, for the World Government the cost has never mattered. They will make Marineford even bigger; recruit new soldiers for their war, make the walls stronger and higher than ever. To show to the world that the navy had everything under control and the pirates will never be able to have a triumph over them.
Absolute Justice.
Those words made him wanted to vomit.
Every criminal will be punished for its guilt. Rightfully punished.
What an easy, and childish thought.
Absolute Justice.
'I'm gonna be a father!'
As he turned down on a corner his fist thudded into the wall, the impact made a new hole, and the falling rocks echoed on the corridor. He failed to get a hold of his anger.
Even up here, at the offices level, there were a few cracks and broken windows. Whitebeard didn't hold back, and neither of the marines.
'Take care of my child!'
That word, he could still hear that damned pirate's voice in his head ever since. He couldn't get rid of it for months, or years. It stayed with him, mocked him for every mistake, but sometimes… On rare occasions it made him to look back at the old times, when everything was familiar and easier.
But now, everything has changed; mostly for the worse.
'...but our unborn child is innocent.'
He hated Roger, hated how well that man knew him.
Those words, they were enough. They got under his skin, crawled inside his brain, made him see and think all kind of cold thoughts. They didn't let him rest, not until he finally made his way to that island. Met that woman. For a first glance she seemed almost fragile, like the first stronger wind could knock her to the ground. But as his eyes met hers, he knew, and even understood the Pirate King.
And then, the reality was uglier than anything he could imagine. Children died, by the hundreds. They had to be killed because of an order. Because of one man.
Absolute justice.
Justice.
The wall cracked and crumbled under his fist. He didn't even look at where his punch landed. It wasn't important.
He just wanted to forget, and stop his racing mind. But of course, he couldn't. He couldn't get rid of the picture of Ace's body falling to the ground. He couldn't numb Luffy's desperate scream. He couldn't even kill Sakazuki.
And at the same time, he felt the tiny baby in his arms, the new born that made the World Government panic so much. The demon-child cooed and looked around with his big eyes, and smiled, not at him, but for a second, he liked to think that kid somehow knew he was safe.
'Save my child!'
No, he didn't promise anything to that man. He couldn't have, even if he wanted to. He saved the kid, because a child was innocent. He went to that island to make sure that child and his mother can have a life. But he was only able to leave with the tiny life. Already cursed, already hunted.
'Save my child!'
Roger should have dealt with his own family.
Whitebeard should have saved him.
Luffy should have helped him.
As a marine he had nothing to do with pirates. His duty was to capture them. He was a Vice-Admiral, a Hero of the marines. He wanted to make a marine out of them, but they chose a different road to walk on.
'Save my child!'
And yet, he couldn't. There was that silent that voice in his head. He failed as a marine.
"Garp?"
And failed as a man, a friend, and a grandfather.
"Oi, Garp!"
'Save my child!'
His arm swung, but the blow didn't reach the wall.
"Stop this!"
"Leave me alone, Sengoku!" His voice was harsh and choked.
"So, you could destroy those few walls that left standing?"
"I don't give a damn about this place!" He freed his arm from Sengoku’s grip.
They stood there. Staring at each other. Neither of them knew what to say or do. However, both of them was aware what the other one thought, but they couldn't act on it. Not yet, it was too early. The weight of their actions and mistakes were already heavy, but it didn't settle truly on them yet.
"Garp, you need to stop this. You're a vice-admiral."
"Not for long." His words came out without any thinking.
"You want to retire?" Sengoku didn't sound as surprised as he wanted to.
"Right now, I want you and all the gods damn World Government to leave me alone. Right now, I couldn't care less about the fucking Absolute Justice, or the nobles!" He turned around to leave. Maybe he acted like a coward, but right now he couldn't handle anyone around him.
A hand on his shoulder stopped him.
"I'm sorry for your loss."
He started to walk again without looking back. His hands sunk in his pockets. His fingernails dug deep into his palm. He tried to do everything to get rid of the tears in his eyes.
But he failed again.

uhhhh could u pls pls tell me ur hcs (if u have them) about the batfamilys hairstyles thru the years. do u believe in long hair discowing?? whats jasons hair like as robin vs red hood? give me a whole timeline if u want
you know what? hell yeah.
long post so here’s a cut
bruce. bruce, in his childhood, had the same haircut the whole time!! then his mother died and she cut it for him so for about a year and a half (nearing 10 years old) he had this steadily growing mop of hair that was not cleaned or brushed. occasionally alfred would attempt to get it clean but bruce would hiss like a feral cat so it didn’t get very far
THEN he shaved most of his hair off because it was unsalvageable to a nearly ten year old
then he had a FUCK TON of teenage mistakes. including bleached slightly long hair, although he kept it short at the back because bruce in my head never wants to revisit his Grief Hair phase <33 there were a lot more mistakes but i don’t have those pinpointed but i haven’t decided on them yet! know that he had frosted tips at one point though. it’s important to me.
as an adult he has the regular ass haircut he has in every comic lmao. as bruce it’s just neatly combed, as brucie it’s always sleep-mussed or sex-mussed, and as matches malone his hair is slicked back with so much gel it fucking drips. as matches malone he is a slimy little disgusting rat by design. in his secret drag persona he wears a wig like a coward.
dick. as a kid, dick has the same haircut as his father, whatever that might be!! he’s a baby mimicry and it’s adorable. he also briefly copied his mother’s hair only to discover it took way too much work
the father part also applies to bruce! although i don’t believe dick saw bruce as his father until he was well on his way into adulthood i do believe that he copied his haircut. i will not explain this clash with anything other than imagining dick as a tiny bruce clone is hilarious
discowing era dick had a mullet and bruce hated every second of it.
after that i think dick had short hair but quite floppy round the front? like lotta fringe <33
baby jason is continually fascinated w dick’s hair <33333
jason. jason had relatively short hair when bruce found him but it was growing longer (did not have money for a haircut) but he got it cut when he got adopted. unfortunately he now also has bruce hair because he didn’t care what his hair looked like because he was busy being excited about robin
after he died his hair grew out a bit because when he was comatose nobody was looking after him :(
w the league they shaved his hair because it was kinda gross tbh. he had shaved hair for a while
he grew it back out to what he generally looks like in comic panels, fuck if i know what that’s called. unfortunately the fucker shaved it again at the beginning of being red hood. jason your hair is pretty stop doing this
he then did a whole lot of things to get rid of his white streak from shaving to dying to threatening to colouring it in with sharpie. jokes on him it takes less than 12h to come off <333
tim. tim has had one haircut his entire life! it’s your average white boy haircut.
damian. damian is baby and has only had one haircut. he vaguely resembles a spiky hedgehog.
steph. not batfamily (unless by marriage <3) but including here because my hcs for cass and duke are also “they have had one haircut their whole life” mainly because my brain broke when i tried to picture anything else :/ i’ll leave my brain to marinate on cass and duke and get back to you because i also love them and this feels so bland
ANYWAY steph has long blonde hair then she cuts it into a bob then grows it out again. the cycle continues unless she cuts her hair a lot shorter! which she keeps for longer because she doesn’t like the half grown in half grown out look! then it’s back to the cycle <333
alfred has never had different hair ever. my brain also broke trying to picture it

ooooh how will Jason get his dragon? and how will Joker and Ethiopia go down??
from this
So, I'm not gonna make the Batfam a one to one comparison to Targs, so who knows if this would be a family where dragonriding would prevalent with the cradle hatchlings and whatnot. But I'd imagine similar to something we saw with Vhagar and Aemond, or Sheepstealer and Nettles. A resourceful kid has the planning and the determination to win a dragon to them (also in HOTD when Aemond has his little moment of whooping for joy as he's flying Vhagar, it's giving big "Robin gives me magic" and also is another reason why I love Aemond and think Luke got off easy with getting munched) and thus has that dragon bonded to them for life. It's something that works for Jason as a character, since he in the comics is very resourceful, and he's always had his moments of taking life by the horns and deciding to forge his own path. Hell, he died, and then he said "nah" and came back.
As for how an ASOIAF equivalent to ADitF would go down, likely somewhat different. The circumstances that led up to Jason's death are very specific. 1. Willis was murdered in prison by Harvey Dent 2. Bruce did not tell Jason about this, leading to an erosion of trust between them as a result 3. Jason is then heavily affected by the Felipe Garzonas serial rapist case which only gets worse when Gloria, who he'd promised to keep safe, hangs herself as a result of Garzonas getting off without consequence and Jason is the one to find her body, leading him to confront Garzonas with Murky results 4. Bruce believes for at least a certain period of time that Jason might have murdered Garzonas which further erodes the trust between them 5. Bruce benches Robin as he believes that Jason has not had the space to grieve both his father and his mother and that this is leading him to be dangerous to himself (he literally says that, benching Robin was far more Bruce being worried that Jason was being careless with himself due to his trauma manifesting in some form of self-harm than it was about Jason being "bad") 6. Jason overhears part of a conversation about this between Bruce and Alfred and becomes convinced that he's going to be fired, 7. Jason goes to his old home in Park Row (presumably out of a concern he might be kicked out as well as benched) and meets an old neighbor who gives him some things belonging to his parents 8. Through this Jason finds out that Catherine Todd was not his birth mother, and uses Bruce's resources to find three potential candidates, including Sheila Haywood, who is currently committing financial crimes and being blackmailed by the Joker about it 9. Jason runs away from home to try and find his birth mother, presumably so that he has a backup option in case he is kicked out 10. This leads him to the relative same area as where both Sheila Haywood and the Joker are, which is where Batman also is due to him trying to stop the Joker 11. Jason and Bruce work together as Batman and Robin to stop the Joker at the same time as Jason meets Sheila, which goes well enough that Bruce is comfortable leaving Jason in her care while he goes off to stop a part of the Joker's plan that needs to be dealt with immediately, even though the Joker is close by 12. Jason, knowing Sheila is being blackmailed, reveals that he's Robin and that he can help her if she tells him everything that's going on 13. Sheila decides to use this as a way out of her blackmail by giving Joker someone he's wanted dead for some time (cuz he's crazy) and lies to Jason that the Joker is no longer in the area that he actually still is to lead him into a trap 14. In spite of Jason's attempts to fight his way out, he's defeated and very severely tortured by a crowbar by the Joker, to the point where everyone in the warehouse they're in believes that he's been killed 15. The Joker, upon remembering that Batman won't take kindly to his son having been full on murdered, decides to get rid of any loose ends by leaving Sheila tied up in the warehouse and rigging it to blow up 16. The building blows up just as Bruce arrives on the scene, and in spite of Bruce's best efforts to find him in the rubble, Jason is killed whilst lying in the wreckage due to smoke inhalation injuries/asphyxiation/likely the aggravated severity of injuries from the beating and the explosion.
These are not circumstances that can be repeated in Westeros. Westeros doesn't have explosives that you can time to go off at set moments, it doesn't have the concept of medical malpractice or insurance fraud or international criminal arms deals, it's impossible to prove that someone is or is not related to someone else unless there are glaring physical hints (Jon is able to pass as Ned's son because he inherited all of Lyanna's Northern looks and none of Rhaegar's Targaryen ones, the Strongs are very obviously Rhaenyra's children by Harwin rather than Laenor as they are lily-white and very dark haired/dark eyed like him, whereas Rhaenyra and Laenor are both blond with two blond parents and Laenor is Black). And again, vigilantism likely wouldn't be something the Batfam would partake in due to, like I mentioned before, the circumstances that created it not existing.
If Jason has a dragon (hell yeah, as he should), then I'd imagine something similar to what I've theorized happened to Rhaenys the Conqueror. Her dragon got shot down, and she was presumed to have died in the fall, though we know that it's somewhat survivable given that Aegon II and Baela Targaryen both manage it in the same fight, so my view is that she survived but, given that the Ullers (the ones who shot her down) were kinda crazy people, she was either taken captive and further tortured, or just taken captive but not given the best quality care for extensive injuries (until the Martells found out and took custody of her and sent her back to Dragonstone which is why the letter affected Aegon as bad as it did and why he left for Dragonstone for a day and why he was on good terms with the Martells afterwards because he was able to, if not say goodbye, at least bury her in their ancestral home, but this isn't an ASOIAF theory post). Given that Jason would be considered nearly an adult in Westeros at the time he died (he died the year he would turn sixteen, but was still fifteen because he was an August baby), you could have something like that. Jason gets involved in a conflict, as the son of a lord/king, his dragon is either injured or outright killed at some point with a fall that leaves his family thinking he was dead, even though what happened was that he survives but gets taken captive by whatever enemy he was fighting, our Joker figure, who absolutely does torture him and do the vile shit he does in the comics. And then at some point Jason would either get away on his own and be taken in by Talia, or Talia just rescues him herself (and doesn't tell Bruce for whatever dumb reasons she didn't tell Bruce in the comics, I love Talia dearly but the fact that it never apparently crossed her mind to tell her literally suicidal ex that his dead child is alive and "relatively" safe in her care is not only ridiculous but borderline cruel) and helps him recover.
You could maybe have a Joker figure kidnap him for ransom, maybe, but this might just be me as the child of a good father, but I can't imagine a Bruce Wayne who wouldn't immediately pay the ransom if some psychopathic nutball literally kidnapped his fucking kid. And if anyone's wondering "how can you have Jason lose his dragon by being shot down" 1) it's thematically appropriate, Jason lost everything in Ethiopia including his own life, any equivalent needs to come with heavy losses even beyond his personal safety and comfort 2) Dany has three dragons, Daemon and Rhaenyra have two or smth with whatever's gonna go on with Vermithor in season 2, Jason can have more than one dragon somehow, he can have ten I don't care he deserves them because he's my boy.

I've seen people posting about their Tavs and I wanted to join in soooo
Tumblr media
This is Scoria Doesnthavealastnameyet! She's not really a Tav as much as an OC because my computer cannot run BG3 but oh well.
She's a water genasi sorceress and princess of a human kingdom.
My initial idea was to have a basic spoiled mermaid-like princess but then I found out genasi are rare and often ignored or disliked by their parents so I had to give her a tragic backstory, poor me (I love handing out trauma to characters)
Scoria of Stillbay (random city name I got from random name generator for her kingdom) born to the king and queen (They don't have names either, basically no one relevant in this story does yet) or so everyone expected. So you can imagine the surprise on everyone's face when the human couple's kid was born blue, with gills and finned ears. Everyone came to the reasonable conclusion that the queen had committed adultery with some sort of magical being or perhaps a monster. Why she would engage in such an affair right after her marriage, compromising the royal family and bloodline while doing so, and with a magical creature no less, knowing magic is looked down upon in her husband's kingdom slipped everyone's mind. As many questions as everyone had, the queen didn't get the chance to answer them as she died in childbirth.
The child's name (Scoria, meaning scum) was chosen by the king. The option of killing her was heavily considered but some members of the court called for grace for the kid, since being born wasn't really her fault. The child was given to an orphanage and not talked about. It wasn't unusual for the palace to hold information from it's citizens so why stop now?
The kingdom still didn't have an heir so the king remarried. And didn't have children with his new wife. So he remarried. But she didn't get pregnant either. After a year of sleeping with two wives and as many lovers he could find no children was born so in a last attempt to have some sort of heir, even if it was just a backup plan, Scoria was picked up from the orphanage and brought back to the castle.
She was introduced as her mother's kid to the people with excuses of wanting a big celebration, grief, other compromises that stopped the palace from giving her the proper introduction. She kept her name and was forced to disguise her appearance. Her hair and ears were concealed under a wig, her gills hid under clothing and her skin was painted a natural skin tone.
Meanwhile, the king kept marrying and trying to produce an actual heir so he could get rid of Scoria as soon as possible. But this never happened. So Scoria grew up a princess. Always disguised as long as she wanted to take a step out of the palace. Not allowed to look out of windows too closely or to go out on the balconies.
She was a sheltered kid. She didn't know anyone asides from palace staff, her father and spouses and the occasional noble she met at parties.
Since there wasn't much to do she occupied her time learning. What? Anything. She read all the time. She became proficient in any art that she was allowed to try. She knew every word of her etiquette books. She was never one for sports since practising inside was quite difficult. This lead her to be very smart and polite in controlled, predictable noble environments but God knows if she had to survive on her own she wouldn't last a day.
This was her life until one day, when she was around 18, another woman came into her life. A witch. She knew the king was always changing wives and wanted another heir (she didn't know of Scoria's identity since no one outside the palace did). Magic *was* looked down upon but the king had come to terms with his infertility. This was his only chance to get rid of the bastard. So he agreed to marry her. One last royal wedding for him. They got married and soon enough the woman was with child. A miracle? A spell? No one cared. The king had what he wanted and as soon as that child was born he could finally live peacefully.
So, the new prince was born. And the next day Scoria received a message.
"Get dressed. Your father wants to see you." A maid told her when she woke her up. Scoria sprung up from her bed. The king had never been one to request time with her. He was always distant and uncaring. So she was elated. She put on her disguise as quickly as she could and got dressed, running downstairs to meet up with her father.
He looked happy. Calm. He greeted her with a smile and took her arm, leading her towards the outside of the palace to the ports. They rode on a boat, just the two of them; had tea and watched the landscape. Scoria didn't know what she should pay attention to with how overwhelmed she felt. Did she care more about her father's conversation or the beautiful river she had never been allowed to visit?
Soon enough the king stood up, getting near the edge of the deck. Scoria stood up to continue the conversation besides him. And then everything turned somber. He started explaining everything. Her mother, her affair, her looks, his disdain for her. He admitted he did not know what she was and that he didn't care. That he wanted nothing to do with her. As Scoria's heartbeat sped up so did the river's corrent, nearing a bifurcation. One of the paths calmed down quickly, the other was quick and some sharp rocks where visible. A morbid smile formed on the King's face "And now I have an actual kid. Someone to take over my kingdom. I also have no use for you." As he said this his hands went to Scoria's shoulders and pushed her overboard.
She tried to float. She gasped for air. She had never swam, she wasn't ready for this. She didn't have time to worry though. Soon after she hit a rock and was knocked out.
Minutes? Hours? Days? Later she woke up on an unknown house. She was laying on the couch as a woman made tea. The woman turned around and started asking questions "Are you okay?" "What happened to you?" "What's your name?". Scoria didn't want to answer. She was scared and traumatized. Her disguise was no longer. She had always been told she was a monstrosity. How could she expect anything except fear and rejection? But that wasn't what she got. The woman gave her food and drink. Allowed her to keep to herself and insisted she take some food with her when Scoria told her she had no choice but to leave.
She left the kingdom, knowing if she was seen alive she would be killed.
And this is where her adventure would begin in a DND campaign. Meeting the party and having to decide what backstory to make up for herself. In my mind she keeps the princess part since it explains her personality and knowledge but she makes up her family and her kingdom. If she still has her disguise this is even more plausible.
When talking about BG3 instead of meeting the party she would get kidnapped by the Elithids and then they'd meet the party.
If literally a single person likes this I will do another post about what I think her questline would be. I might even if no one cares just to have it written down somewhere.
Some more drawings just cause:

It was something he didn’t have too much time to ponder on. Most of the questions that Riku had vanished when he heard someone moving around inside. “Da-?” The words died on his lips as he froze, staring at a face that was identical to his.
Nearly identical.
Maybe he was imagining things, but their eyes didn’t seem to be quite the same shade, and the hair was just a bit off, with his own being shorter. Beyond that, though…
There was a hot spark of something that felt like an electrical fire that ripped through his skull, but the pain felt strangely… dulled as his body shifted into auto-pilot. Forget fight or flight; dissociation and going numb was the real way to handle threatening situations. The stranger clearly was on guard - or had been, before collapsing back into the sofa. Riku just eyed him flatly as he took a few steps forward, stepping not quite up to the stranger and more around him, clearly intending to circle around the sofa to get behind where he was sitting.
“I feel like I should be the one asking you that. You’re in my dad’s house.” That they looked alike was…
Oh.
The pain was still there, but it melted into a sudden burst of anger that felt like it was burning through his veins. Oh. Oh. So many things seemed to click together at once. Why his father always seemed to hate Riku so much, why he wanted to get rid of him as soon as possible, why they had left the islands after his mother died-
“Holy shit. You have to be some bastard affair baby, huh.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“The fuck’s your problem?” He barely managed to grind out the question as soon as he heard the other person (himself?) call him a ‘bastard affair baby’. His head still ached and screamed at him, but he braved the pain to glare at the stranger. Why was he getting closer? He got to his feet and backed away from him.
“I’m... I’m me,” he said. Now that he was looking at the other person again, he was getting flickers of images... memories? Bright lights. Resignation, and yet... resolve. And love. So much love that it hurt. There was also the sense of wrongness. Like he wasn’t meant to remember this. He grit his teeth. Whoever this person was, he seemed pretty upset about his being here. Not only that, but he also appeared to be related to Dad. The stranger maybe even knew Dad better than he could. And there was something so off about him... he couldn’t place his finger on it. He crossed his arms. “I’m nobody’s bastard kid. I barely know Dad beyond the fact he owns this house. I don’t have any memory of anything before this morning... I don’t even know how I got here.”
Why was he telling him this? He had no reason to trust this person... but his heart told him that he could. He could trust this person with his very life. Why did he feel this way? He bent down to pick up the remote and turned off the TV. It helped to alleviate the headache a little. He still placed a hand on his head, groaning a bit at the pain. Maybe making direct eye contact with the inexplicable source of your pain wasn’t the brightest idea.
“Who the hell are you, anyway?” he asked, looking down at the stranger’s shoes. At least staring at those didn’t make his head explode. “I’m... My name is... It’s Riku... I think.”
It felt wrong on his lips somehow, despite being the only name he could link to himself. He shook his head.
Tumblr media
The past twenty-four hours were hazy. He didn't know how he wound up in this house and in the clothes he was wearing now, but he didn't have the power to question it. It was a roof over his head and clothing on his back. His brain felt like it was filled with cotton. He felt... like a doll. The thought bothered him, and he didn't know why.
Dad was distant, but... wasn't he always distant? He didn't think he knew Dad very well, but that's who the man who owned this house was. Looking at the man only exacerbated the cotton feeling in his brain, so he merely kept his gaze on the floor and nodded when spoken to. He was meant to stay home and not leave. Easy enough. The cotton feeling seemed to fade when Dad left, but it never went away. Trying to think about anything that happened before this morning yielded a foggy static. He knew who he was, he thought, but he didn't know how he knew it. He didn't know where he came from, or have any memories of being in this house before this morning. Trying to think about it made his head hurt, so he gave up and turned on the TV, curling up on the couch and letting himself get absorbed in whatever was playing on the screen.
He was halfway through a news broadcast when he heard the knocking at the door. He ignored it at first--Dad's instructions were not to open the door for anyone--but what he couldn't ignore was the sound of the doorknob turning. Slowly, he got to his feet. Whoever was intruding on the house wasn't Dad--he was calling for Dad.
As soon as the intruder was in the doorway of the living room, he stood upright, TV remote raised above his head like a weapon with his left arm outstretched in front of him. Taking this stance made his head ache dully, but that was nothing compared to how his brain felt the moment he made direct eye contact with the intruder. That was his face... The intruder looked identical to him. And the moment they looked at each other, his head seemed to explode with a feeling he could only describe as microphone feedback. He faltered in his battle stance to place his free hand on his head and he grimaced, falling back onto the couch. The remote was dropped and he gripped at his head. What was happening..?
"Who... who are you? Why do you look like..."
Why do you look like me?

I'm so sorry this took longer than expected T_T
(Yes Ik it's longer than the others I do, and that's cuz I usually end up mixing the headcanons into drabbles/one-shots, but this time, I kept it as bullet points and I got carried away. Oops. And yes, it's easier to write headcanons this way but it'll end up being long af)
When Cain first met you, he overheard and was curious about this new SCP during a test, so he decided to come and watch, from afar of course.
When Cain first met you, he overheard and was curious about this new SCP during a test, so he decided to come and watch, from afar of course.
Anyways, the little test was just a plain and boring one and little (Y/N) was taken back to her containment cell after 10 minutes. Cain had requested to see you as he remembered seeing in your file that you can breathe fire and cry lava among other things due to your dragon abilities.
It's not like he didn't believe them since he's been in the foundation for many years, but he was just curious about a hybrid child like you and wanted to see if you were doing well. You being a shy child was quiet at first and when Cain went to visit you every so often, you both became close and he was a father figure to you, even though you were abandoned by your father since birth and your mother died not long later.
He took good care of you and made sure you were well fed. You were rather polite to the guards and staff so Cain wouldn't need to worry too much about you intentionally killing them. But only for a short period of time as who knows what you'll be like when you're older.
Luckily for Cain, you were also carnivorous, so he didn't have to worry about you eating your 5 a day (not that you wanted to anyways you ungrateful meat-eating child).
Whenever there's a containment breach, the first thing he does is to look for you
Aside from some side effects, he isn't worried too much as he wouldn't receive any wounds anyways so hell just charge towards anyone who looks/sound like you
He's basically your new dad ok?
SCP 076 (Abel)
Abel first came into contact with you during a containment breach
He just saw you casually flying around and occasionally lending the guards a hand by breathing fire just to burn some holes for easier access (how professional)
He saw you again moments later when you were alone and you decided to approach this hulk of a man to ask for some help, thinking he worked there. Abel had abandoned you (like your hopes and dreams left you a millennium years ago) but you insisted on going with him so he took you in
Later his rage in the facility had vanished as he had cared for you for the short period of time he had met you and handed you over to the guards, much to their surprise
He then ran away as he's not totally scared of kids or anything and hid in his box
You insisted on visiting 076-2 and so the researchers did, realising much later that you both had bonded. Abel was a parental figure to you.
A very overbearing protective guardian I must say.
Even more so when there's a containment breach
Like imagine 610 and 682 mashed up together to form an extremely hostile entity and that's Abel for you
But that's only if you were hurt, if you weren't or fit was just a normal containment breach, had be extremely worried
SCP 049 (Plague Doctor) (Guy's pls don't be mistaken, I don't have any beef with 049 ok? XD If I make any characters a little OC then 049 will gladly rid the pestilence from you without consent)
This sassy MF so-called doctor right here met you when for some reason, the doctors had decided to put you both into a testing room (no, it wasn't Bright's idea).
049 was just doing his thing as you just sat on a really high chair (cuz you do be short so ofc you wouldn't be sitting on a lower chair which is lower than your taste in men/women) and watched curiously. The doctor thought it was somewhat cute and laughed slightly from your curiosity.
Sensing that you didn't have the pestilence, he allowed you to scooch closer just to see. After the test was done, the guards took you back out with slight aggression, but you, for some reason, were still polite to the guards despite their aggression which made 049's heart swell due to your pureness.
You yawned slightly and accidentally blew out fire from your mouth which almost caused a containment breach if it weren't for 049's quick thinking
Later on, the researchers had decided to put you both in the testing room again, and you both began to bond as 049 requested you to burn the bodies he performed surgery on
Needless to say, you both had a great time and the researchers were mildly amused
If you somehow knew another friend (*ahem* 035), he'd probs ask him/her to care/loof for you if there were a containment breach
Or he would just sigh and look after you himself if you were closer to 035 and he asked so nicely
SCP 035 (Possessive Mask) (Right about 049 being sassy.... I'll take that back, 035 is the sassiest, right next to a certain sculpture in the foundation)
Anyhow, 035 was actually the reason you were stuck in the foundation anyways
God knows how, but you met this guy wearing this theatre mask and you ended up here in the foundation
Now everyone thought you were either a Keter or Euclid
I mean, you were so close to being put into the Euclid class but ended up in safe since you were so polite to the researchers as well as shy and relatively easy to contain... For now
Whenever they used you in a test, you were rewarded with whatever you wanted, within reason ofc, whenever you behaved well which was like 98% of the time minus minor accidents since you weren't entirely in control of your powers
Sometimes instead of a reward, you'd request to see 035 as he would perform to you and that was only granted when its safe to do so and when that hideous mask would do as he/she/it is told
035 would be that somewhat overprotective yet goofy uncle that everyone loved and he was totally wrapped around your fingers unless you were hurt or if he urgently needed something or someone
If there was a containment breach, he'd look for you, if not he'll call out his 'friend' to look out for you (*cough* 049 *cough*)
When 035 finds you, he'd most likely ask you to fly around to see the nearest exit or he'd just carry you when there's someone chasing you
If 035 were to kill anyone, you'd cry and tell him no to which did end up in burning the floor but oh wells, they're rich enough to contain him so why not use the extra money to rebuild the floor right?
Anyways, 035 loves you no matter what and he'd do anything to make sure you're doing well
SCP 999 (Tickle Monster)
Ok so, when you and 999 first met each other, you were kind of just wandering around the facility minding your own business
999 just casually slithered up to your leg and offered you some sweets and a hug since you looked upset and so you accepted it
You both found a place to sit and just talk bout stuff and what life was like before you were captured
But you were cheery just like 999 and rarely attacked anyone, and if you ever did, it was either that you were hella pissed or you accidentally breathed fire/teared up some lava which burnt some stuff
The researchers would secretly take in some notes bout your interactions and just continued on with their day and left you both alone, but would sometimes keep a stern eye on you
They say it's for everyone's safety, and that's true to an extent, but the main reason they do it is to monitor your progress of you controlling your powers
Anyways, sometimes when it gets busy in the cafe or down the hallway, you just fly across the room, and sometimes, you'll be extra cheeky and play hide and seek with the researchers
999 would occasionally join in but he's more like a worried older brother to you
During containment breaches, 999 would run around looking for you and when he did, he would check if you had any injuries
When you say you didn't, he was relieved but not for long since you mentioned bout making new SCP friends and he just died right there and then (not really)
SCP 682 (Hard to Destroy Reptile)
Similarly to Able, he'd be wary of you at first
Like, he can sense that you weren't just an ordinary child when you just appeared behind him
He was somewhat irritated when you followed him around, but you reminded him of 053, so he just let it slide and let you show some affection towards him
It's not like he didn't like it, he was just embarrassed
Anyhow, the researchers wanted to test how 682 would bond with you, so they made you meet up with him again but in his cell
You were both chatting like father and daughter and soon, everyone had found out that not only could you fly, you could also cry lava, which yes did burn a small hole on the ground and you could somehow breathe fire
You were also immune to the fire and lava so they decided to have a full-on body check and discovered that you were built similar to the komodo dragon with a side of 682 (XD Don't ask)
682 was left stunned, but luckily he didn't feel the need to run up the wall like that bunny
Like who tf invented a self-eating bunny?
Anyways, research shows that just like Abel, the giant lizard was very protective of you
The theory has it that you were somehow related to the lizard, perhaps he laid an egg before containment and some guy took it in and froze it then decided to hatch the egg
During containment breaches, he would basically rampage around the facility, killing anyone and everyone until he found you
And when he did, he would check on you like the amazing father he is and then carry on killing but was then stopped by you
So he would just carry you around until you fell asleep
SCP 105 (Iris)
I think Iris would be a good mother/sister figure when it comes to kids
It kinda came from the fact that Iris hangs out with Abel and Cain a lot, so it kinda just rubs off her
Her motherly/sisterly instinct just heightened when she first found you on a mission and she just took you in
It took a while to bribe the foundation that she kinda had custody
Not exactly custody, but she had a say when it came to your safety, especially the fact that you weren't exactly human and your appearance would cause a disturbance to others
I feel like Iris would be a stern yet kind guardian towards you, leaning towards the stern part since you're a child SCP and has fire breath and lava tears
Iris wouldn't be entirely bothered by you flying around, but she had to bribe the researchers and some SCPs to help you fly better
She would murder anyone who had to cry because they made you cry and cleaning up after your tears is such a mess considering that you have little control over them
Your fire breath on the other hand is slightly more controllable, but if you were hella happy or mad you'd breathe the fire and burn anyone/anything
Most of the time, its unintentional and you're usually sweet and kind towards anyone, so manners aren't a big thing for Iris to teach you
She'd even teach you some of the stuff she learnt/discovered and you'd just sit there being nosy and curious about everything
Like that one time, you almost caused a breach cus you were so curious and friendly that 682 was about to snap off your head and rampage out of the foundation
And don't even get me started with the brothers and 096, OML
Other than that, you both were like a family you never had :,) (You're welcome!!!)
During containment breaches, Iris would literally pick you up and run
Unless you weren't with her for whatever reason (Yes, you're attached to each other's hips... Don't lie, you love it!), she'd do anything to find you
If you were hurt, shed tend to your injuries immediately and lecture you about safety
If you weren't hurt, shed still give you a lecture, then pick you up and run
If you made friends on the way, she may or may not approve and bite of anyone head
And the foundation wouldn't want an Angry!Iris around
SCP 106 (Old Man)
This old man here is basically the definition of a cool uncle/granddad
Without a doubt, he'd go into his pocket dimension and comes back with a teddy bear or some sweets
He'd spoil you a lot and the foundation had enough of this cuz by the time you become an adult, you wouldn't be independent enough
Anyways, 106 would let you go into his dimension and practice your abilities there for the safety of others
The researchers would occasionally ask you to carry a camera with you just so they know what it's like in his pocket dimension
106 rarely gets mad, and even if he was, it'll be about someone trying to hurt you since you're too kind and shy to make him mad
You're even kind to the researchers and guards which is worrying to 106 as they might take advantage of your kindness (which may be true for some, but most of them are just glad you're kind since it makes their jobs so much easier)
Sometimes, you'd make things levitate which was a shock to anyone who walked by and witnessed this
But only for a few seconds though, so it's not much
106 would encourage you to use your telekineses and he'd attempt to train you
Which didn't work so well, so that sucks
During containment breaches, he'd use his pocket dimension to his advantage
He'd hide you in there just so you don't have to get hurt
If you weren't there with him, he'd kill and hunt down anyone who might know where you are
He'd make sure you weren't hurt otherwise he would go into scary uncle mode
If you weren't hurt, he would just hug you which stops you from crying lava
SCP 096 (Shy Guy)
Now what makes you and 096 a unique pairing is that you're both shy
The only difference is that you can speak but 096 kinda doesn't
But that's not a problem since you both just understood each other since day 1
I'd say 096 is that introverted uncle/cousin but he's kinda chill and sweet with you
As for containment breaches, the only difference with this tall guy is that not only will he kill anyone who sees his face, he'd also hunt down anyone who'd hurt you
096 has a newfound ability for this and the researchers were shocked when they first found out
A certain chainsaw loving doctor wanted to test it out himself but was stopped rather quickly by the other researchers
Anyways, one time you almost burnt down the foundation because 096 crept up behind you which scared you to tears
And you screamed as well which didn't help at all since you could breathe fire
Also, when you're not with 096, you'd use your levitating powers to grab lighter objects which did result in the objects falling onto your head
And this is why you need to train more, so then objects wouldn't be yeeted onto your tiny head and knock the nonexistent brain cells out of your nonexistent brain - Sorry not sorry (Ok so at least pretend to laugh)
If anyone bullied you and you didn't say a word, 096 would know and even if you tried to stop him, it wouldn't work
Unless you're in a life-threatening situation, but even then, he'd kill the guy
Dr. Simon Glass
Unlike the others on the list, you're the one who approached the doctor
Mainly because you were lost, but you were curious as well
Simon would probably be the best person to run into, other than Kondraki, but still
It's because he's a psychologist and still very much human (I mean, Kondraki's a normal human I guess, but he has those butterfly thingys)
Anyways, when he first saw you, you were in his office flying about and crying lava
Simon saw you and was shocked but attempted to calm you down and get you you sit with him for a bit, then call the others
But boy did that not work out, because this poor innocent boi was boutta get killed by your firey breath cuz he startled you too much
Bright, Kondraki and Clef just strolled in and saw the mess and even attempted to get you to chill, but this didn't work either
So poor Simon Glass had to find his way to get you to stop being so scared which obviously worked
You sat down with him and he let you doodle on a blank piece of paper
And being a good psychologist he is, he used psychological methods to get you to feel comfortable and to start talking to which you did
You were so polite he gave it to a chocolate bar, but instead of taking it off his hands, you used your telekineses to levitate it in your direction
Simon recorded what he had seen before letting the other researchers take you and offered to take you under his wing on the condition that you were you have a check-up every now and again
That wasn't much of a problem since you were so polite and chill - Usually
During containment breaches, he would make sure that you were safe first and it wasn't so difficult to deal with you since you were with him most of the time
When you're not with him, he'd be extremely worried like a mother hen and run in any direction that would take him to you
He'd be relieved to see you and if you were hurt, he'd bandage you up and try to not cry
If you've made new friends, he would be very happy about it - Unless it's a Keter or Euclid class
They'll be on his watchlist
Anyhow, Simon Glass is basically your mother and mentor
He'd teach you all the basics you'll need and help train you if he can (he'd most likely have to ask the other doctors and SCPs with some bribery)
Dr. Jack Bright
Our favourite doctor here would be that goofy uncle/dad
I feel that he'd sympathise with you since he's also an SCP (sorta) and he feels kind of trapped in the foundation
If you're lucky enough, Jack might be able to take you out for an hour for some fresh air
You'll automatically be under his wing and nobody will ever question it. Ever.
Although he may be goofy and does stupid things, he would be surprisingly protective and his fatherly instincts kick in right away since he first met you
He would allow you to use your powers to an extent and teach you how to use your power properly
You are well aware of his anomalous abilities with his neckless, so whenever Bright had to change bodies, you'd automatically know where he is (other than the obvious neckless thingy)
If there were to have a containment breach, Bright would panic but quickly become calm as that's the only way he could find you and keep you safe
When he finds you he would give you that lecture while finding any scratches on you
If you were to grow, he would give most guys the dad glare of the century and all those guys would run tf away cuz nobody messes with Bright's newfound daughter
I have high doubts that he would let anyone do tests with you when he's not there and even if he was, they would need his approval, so most of the time, you don't even need to worry much
Dr. Alto Clef
(OML Why do I keep adding new characters?! There's so much to write T_T)
Right, so when Clef found you, it was like as if his long lost (well... not so lost) memory came back to him
For some reason, you reminded him of 166 (OML I'm so lost for this SCP, like boi she had a rewrite)
So he took you in the foundation like he did with his daughter and took care of you Since he works for the foundation, he's not remotely terrified or anything, but he's curious about your abilities
And of course, you managed to use some of your abilities because of some SCPs and Bright Clef took you to meet 166 and you both showed your abilities and since 166 is older than you, she's probably trying to help you control your powers more
Which, of course, makes Clef a proud dad
If there were any containment breaches, he'd panicked but once he found you with his other daughter, he was relieved
166 made sure that you weren't hurt and if you were, you'd be bandaged up so Clef doesn't have to worry too much
Anyhow, if Clef decides to introduce you to the tiger doctors, he'd make sure Glass is the first since he's the most sensible person (but let's face it, he wouldn't admit it)
Then it'll be Iceberg, Coggs (that's his name right), Light and a couple others Bright and Kondraki would be last since they would be somewhat chaotic (mainly Bright) even though they're the fun uncle
Whenever Clef has a mission, he'd shove you to either 166 or Glass, if he's free, if not then it'll most likely be Light (and if she's also busy, then yall screwed)
And bless the guy who takes an interest in you when you become a teen cuz our messy boi would make sure that guy would suffer
Dr. Benjamin Kondraki
Ok let's face it, Kondraki would definitely be the mother hen of the dad world in the SCP Foundation
He's literally your mother, kinda like Glass but kinda not, ya know what I'm saying?
Like he'll feed your curiosity since many people around you wouldn't and you're an SCP so you're trapped in the foundation anyways
I'd say he's quite cautious and caring, obviously, but if he's out and about, he'd definitely let you go with him
Unless he's going out for a mission, then that's a definite no-no
He would let you hang out with the safer SCPs like 999 and maybe 166 if Clef is chill, but he has to let you hang out with her cuz she's the only other SCP who could help you get a grasp with your powers
Like how to not burn the bloody floor when you cry and stop breathing fire inconsistently by accident
An attempt was made when they try to train your telekineses but they'll have to wait till you're older
Since most of the time you're stuck with Kondraki, I don't think he'd be all too worried bout breaches, of course, he'd be worried about your safety, but you're there with him
If not then god knows what Kondraki would do
Like that one time, he begged Clef and Bright to look for you in which they did but then they made him do something for them in return
Let's just say, it wasn't pleasant at all, but it could be worse since Clef had a shred of sympathy left for the man and Bright just wanted chainsaws

A random headcanon I have is that Thomas is the 2nd oldest of five children. He took full advantage of the fact that most of the family responsibilities fell on his older brother to pursue a career in the arts, without being a disappointment to his family.
I’m that vein, do you have any headcanons about the ghosts’ families (other than the ones we already know like Kitty and Lady Button)?
Oh, I like that. I tend to imagine him either as an only child or the youngest of however with his spoilt brat energy, but him not directly being the youngest could actually work better as it would take a lot more eyes off him and, as you said, give him less responisiblity.
And oh, do I ever:
So, Pat – by virtue of the fact you only see his mum’s name in his article on the ghost board (I know that his dad’s name is probably on there and just blocked out by the posit note with his name but shhh), I tend to imagine Pat was raised just by his mother Maureen, his father walking on the family when Pat was young. Pat was, if my maths is right, born the year ww2 ended, so maybe Mauren and his dad got together in a 'well we might die so why not' panic, only for the war to end and for him to realise he had no interest in a family whatsoever. Maureen was Welsh but ended up staying in Yorkshire even after Mr Butcher walked out in hopes of more job opportunities. The rest of Mr Butcher’s, very large, family were not happy with him for walking out and were made an effort to be really proactive in Maureen’s life because of that, so Pat grew up surrounded by cousins and uncle and aunt’s taking care of him. My only other notes are that he had a twin sister called Gabrielle (the eldest of the two by like three minutes) who he was very close to, and that his mum was a Guide leader :)
Julian – Mumsy and Daddy were two upper class conservatives from Cheltenham, both big players in local politics though they never got the fame they really wanted. Julian had one older brother Charles who was seen as the golden child as he was a lot less wild than Julian, but in exchange he was like, incredibly boring and he never got into politics. He and Julian did not get along. Julian didn’t get along with most of his family honestly, though he did have one aunt who spoiled him rotten, and by the time he was twelve he basically moved in with her
Robin – The third of four children, raised by their dad after their mum died. I think his entire family would live together- like grandparents and aunts uncle, and when his siblings found someone and had kids, they’d stick around too so he was just constantly surrounded by people which makes it all the worse when he’s killed and left all alone anyway, just a very chill family unit with everyone working together to keep each other alive
Mary – Raised by very strict parents who she never felt connected with. And being the eldest, having four younger brothers, she was essentially treated less as a daughter by them and more like a live-in nanny. She didn’t have any other family to really turn to and support her. I tend to imagine she did get married though she didn’t care all that much about her husband, and had two kids. Like her parents though, she never really ended up connected with them, always busy working to keep them alive. I also think her husband was the one who accused her of witchcraft- not to get rid of her like with George, but because he genuinely believed she was
Captain – The son of two Catholics, his father a banker and a former army captain himself, his mother a dressmaker. He wasn’t close to his father at all, who was deeply affected from the first world war and insisted on keeping a distance from his kids and wife, worried that he accidentally lash out and hurt them. He was very close to his mother though, and I like to think she figured out early on he was gay and did her best to subtly hint she’d be accepting, though he never caught on. He also had a younger sister who was close with as a child, but the older the got and the more repressed he became, the further they drifted away from each other.
Humphrey (sorry mate I almost forgot you yet again) – Uh, idk about him…I think he lost his parents when he was young – which meant he had no one to turn to with regards to his marriage with Sophie – and was taken in by his uncle who did his best to care for Humphrey and his own two children. But he ended up passing away when Humphrey was in his early twenties, which he took very hard. He was very close with his cousins, they were both girls who were significantly younger than him, and he always saw them as his sisters, and likewise they say him as an older brother.

Hello, I just saw that you opened your request. I'm the one who ended up writing a whole prompt! Imagine this for each member from La Squadra: they had an one-night stand with a random woman, she accidentally got pregnant and decided to have the baby without telling them. After a while, the woman got ill and passed away, but not without before sending her child with their father (let's imagine she has the direction of their hideout even if it's ooc, or she knew where they hang out). So, one day someone knocks the door and introduces themselves as the kid of one of the members/if it's too young, someone left them on the door with a explainatory note... How do you think each member would react by discovering that they have a child and they're supposed to take care of them from now? You can make each kid with different ages if you want, it would be funny to see Prosciutto or Ghiaccio dealing with a rebellious teenage son or Risotto trying to take care of a toddler, but I guess not all of them would want to keep their children. Sorry if it's a lot, haha.
La Squadra did a Diavolo
La Squadra x Reader, Platonic/Familial, SFW
A/N: your idea about mixing up the ages got me thinking, and I ended up using randomisers for the children’s ages (though I did consciously change some of them) and genders. It added a fun bit of chance to this prompt.
Formaggio, with an 8 year old daughter
The whole thing feels surreal to him. There's a little girl on his doorstep calling herself his daughter and by all evidence, it's true. He doesn't really know how to feel about it at first. On one hand it's kind of cool he had a kid all this time and you're clearly a lovely girl, but on the other hand, what the fuck? Still, not being the practical sort, his sense of sentiment far outweighs any question of how he's actually going to look after a child, so without much deliberation, Formaggio agrees to let you stay.
Formaggio isn't too experienced with kids but he doesn't exactly dislike them either, so he figures he knows what to do. At your age you can at least do the basics of looking after yourself, so he isn't too worried. The only problem is that if you ask him to cook for you or help clean your room, his eyes go very wide. He never quite picked up those skills himself, he's afraid, so you're going to have to ask someone else for that one.
The good news is that Formaggio is a very easy-going, fun sort of dad, who is a natural at playing with you and lets you do what you want when he can't be around. He quickly gets used to showing affection to you, letting you cuddle up to him on the sofa in front of the squad and even carrying you around once in a while. He gives amazing piggy back rides.
The bad news (or more good news, depending on how you are) is that you have to leave school. Risotto says that at your age you can't be trusted not to tell anyone your new family is a bunch of assassins, and taking you to and from school each day would be too much of a hassle. Nonetheless, you're welcome to continue your education from home, though Formaggio will hardly push you if you don't keep up with it. Melone is much better on that front.
Despite the risk, Formaggio can't bring himself to force you to lose all your friends, so he lets you keep meeting with them. Furthermore, he knows a few guys in other squads who have kids about your age, so he's happy to introduce you to them if you want a friend you can be more honest about your home life with. Formaggio might not have a clue what he's doing, but he's doing pretty good.
Illuso, with a 3 year old daughter
He's been fearing this day would come for years. A small child knocking on the door of the hideout, holding a note in hand addressed to him, just as a shady looking car drives away. Yeah, Illuso remembers your mother pretty well and he remembers the distinct lack of precautions they took during their encounter. Now, the consequences of his actions are here at his house, and Risotto is currently standing in the doorway of the office looking ready to give him the biggest dressing-down of his life.
After his tongue-lashing, Illuso frantically agrees to take responsibility for what he's done and see to it that you're well cared for, and begins the task of looking for relatives who might take you. Unfortunately, none of your mother's family can be traced, and Illuso can't exactly call up his own right now. Leaving you on the door of an orphanage isn't an option because you're old enough to say where you've come from, so it looks like for the time being, Illuso is stuck with you.
Initially, Illuso is not thrilled. He pawns you off on Melone, Sorbet and Gelato whenever possible and tries to live his life as before. But increasingly, he can't help finding himself visiting your room whenever he's stressed or has had a bad mission. There's something so pure about gently stroking your hair as you sleep. He can't help but feel... attachment, as he rubs his thumb against your tiny palm.
From then on, Illuso starts to make a point of spending more time with you. You're at the age where you just want to touch and explore everything you're given, so letting you make a mess with his makeup and beauty creams is an easy way for him to observe and learn about you. He even starts doing the more practical things like washing and feeding you every so often.
Eventually, Illuso becomes an actual father to you. He loves you as a father should and puts his time into making you happy. Illuso is glad he didn't give you away, as you've opened his eyes to so many things. For the first time in many years, he feels human. He feels redeemable.
Prosciutto, with a 13 year old son
As you tell him your story Prosciutto racks his brains. He didn't have many one-night-stands in his youth but the ones he did have were so far back he barely remembers them, so your mother's name doesn't immediately ring any bells. If it weren't for the striking resemblance between you, Prosciutto probably would have thrown you out for a liar there and then. But as you are, it's clear you're being honest. He lets you in.
After a short interrogation by Risotto to make certain you aren't acting on behalf of some third party looking to infiltrate the squad, it's agreed you can stay, so long as you keep quiet about it to your friends. At your age you can largely look after yourself and all you really needed was a roof over your head, so there's no problem with you moving into the spare room as long as you stay out of the others' way.
Education isn't much of an issue either, since you're likely well settled in your current school and can get yourself there and back. Just whatever you do, don't go telling anyone you live with a bunch of gangsters now. Prosciutto means it, you could seriously put yourself in danger if you do that.
Much to your father's ire, you end up befriending several members of the squad, especially the younger ones like Melone, Ghiaccio and Pesci who have some generational overlap with how you were raised. Prosciutto would rather you didn't do this but at the end of the day, he can't really stop you. God forbid you call him an old boomer again.
Your relationship is overall positive- Prosciutto makes a point of taking you on outings when he has the time, and giving you parental advice when you need it. However that doesn't stop you from making fun of his stuffy, old habits, and playing the moral high ground in regards to his work.
On that note, the problem comes when you develop an interest in the squad's work. It's only inevitable, given how pervasive the topic is in conversations around the house, and the fact you're more than old enough to know what a gang is, but the day you first ask him about it is no less welcome. What's scary is that you're about the same age as Passione's youngest recruits and, well, if you ended up joining them because of him, Prosciutto might never forgive himself.
Pesci, with a 6 month old son
He knew it had been a mistake. Not long after his 18th birthday he'd given in to the squad's pestering about his virginity and finally gotten rid of it just to shut them up. Now he's ridden with guilt. Not only did the poor woman get pregnant because of him but now she's died. He can't help but wonder, the letter attached to the basket you came in was very vague after all, was your mother's death at all related to your birth? If so, Pesci doesn't know how he'll forgive himself.
Pesci immediately panics and stumbles into his Fra's bedroom crying louder than you are. Prosciutto remains calm, advising him to first make sure this actually is his baby through Melone, in case this is somebody trying to trick him, and to then think through his options rationally. As far as Prosciutto sees it, he has two. He can either see to it that you're taken in by a caring, reliable individual, or he can keep you for himself. Surprisingly, Prosciutto's actually okay with the second one, since in his eyes duty to one's family is absolute.
Pesci stammers a bit and asks if he can wait a few days to make his mind up, which Prosciutto permits. But it isn't long at all until Pesci is far too attached to you to ever let you go, and it becomes clear you'll be staying for the long-run. Risotto is hardly happy about this but agrees with Prosciutto's sentiment of family, so he doesn't try to insist you be sent away.
Pesci is an incredibly loving father. He'll dash from the other side of the house at a moment's notice if he hears you crying. That said, being so young himself it's inevitable he requires some help with raising you. Sorbet and Gelato chip in quite regularly, as does Melone when Pesci is desperate enough to fall on using him. Prosciutto helps out too, being your uncle, and occasionally you've even had Risotto answer your cries.
La Squadra can only hope their situation improves somehow in the coming years, since Pesci has no idea how he's going to deal with an older child in a house full of assassins. At very least, being so young it's a long time before he has to worry about things like school. For now, what's important is that you are loved very dearly. Pesci has discovered a new protective streak in himself, something he discovers every time he looks in your eyes.
Melone, with a 4 year old son
When you arrived you were frightened and confused. You struggled to babble out the story you were told to tell as the strange men crowded around you in the front room of the house. Then, a bizarre looking man with purple hair pushed to the front of the crowd, insisting he knew what to do in a situation like this. He carried you somewhere quiet, and gently asked you to repeat your story again. You told him you were looking for your father, Melone.
Melone is elated. He's always wanted a child, but getting into a relationship stable enough to produce one has never been an option with the life he lives. Now the happy accident he never new he had has come home to him! Carrying you back to the living room, Melone introduces you as his son and announces to the team that he will be keeping you.
This is met with some protest. Not only are you of the age where you'll need constant supervision, but quite frankly, nobody trusts Melone to take care of a kid. Melone refutes their accusations harshly, making it absolutely clear he will not be giving you up without a fight. Finally, Risotto surrenders, on the terms that if he catches any signs of abuse or neglect, he will see to it personally that you are re-homed elsewhere.
Melone's parenting style is relatively laid-back. He believes parents should be a 'safe base' from which children should explore the world, coming back when they need advice but ultimately following their own whims within reason. He encourages you to play as you wish and does not stop you from bonding with the rest of the squad. Finding supervision for you while he's on missions proves to be a non-issue, since his stand's massive range means he can often do most of a mission's work at home.
When the time comes to educate you, Melone decides against the risks of enrolling you in school. He is an amazing teacher and can teach you everything you'd need in half the hours of a typical curriculum. Beyond the essentials of literacy and simple maths, Melone largely encourages you to follow you own interests rather than stick to some boring, arbitrary list of useless things a normal curriculum for some reason expects you to learn.
That said, he knows the importance of making friends, so he frequently takes you out to meet with neighbourhood children. All-in-all, the squad is surprised at his sensible parenting choices, and the happy child you are turning out to be.
Ghiaccio, with a 2 year old son
It's almost comedic the lengths Ghiaccio goes to to avoid the problem. As the others crowd around you in Melone's lap, Ghiaccio cowers in the corner insisting that you absolutely cannot be his. It's very obvious you are, of course. You look almost exactly like him, and have a cry to match. You've even inherited the same, mild visual impairments that earned him his glasses. There's no getting away from the truth.
After accepting the truth, Ghiaccio takes you away to his room to 'clear his head' before deciding where to send you in the morning, but when morning comes, that deliberation time quickly turns into a few more days, then a month, then never. It's clear Ghiaccio's become attached to you, and he cannot bring himself to give you away.
Unfortunately, he doesn't have the foggiest clue in hell how to look after a toddler. He has a hard enough time understanding what it is adults want from him, let alone small children. There are times he even considers giving you away again, but they never last long enough for him to go through with it. Bit by bit, he slowly learns how to be a father.
Melone is his primary co-parent. As cautious as Ghiaccio is about letting him around his baby, it soon becomes clear Melone can understand your needs far better than he can. The pair have many sessions together teaching Ghiaccio how to do things like wash you or cook your food. It's honestly a massive help, and probably the main reason Ghiaccio doesn't completely melt down within a month of having you.
These issues aside, Ghiaccio is a person who is very genuine in his affections. He would break the shins of anyone who even looked at you threateningly, and every fibre of his being wants you to be happy. He even learns to control his temper, as he knows from experience just how damaging an angry parent can be for a child. He's going to give you a better childhood than what his parents gave him, and that's a promise.
Risotto, with a 6 year old daughter
Well, perhaps this ought to have been expected. In his early 20s Risotto was really far less careful than he ought to be in regards to his encounters, so he probably had this coming. You are at a difficult age, old enough to understand your father is a criminal but young enough to still need his care. If he takes you in, there will be many challenges. And yet he cannot bring himself to turn you away. Looking at you he feels... obligation.
In the early days he tries his best to shelter you. He keeps you in his room and tells the others not to talk to you. But that's no way for you to live, and he knows it. Eventually, he swallows his fears and lets you explore your new home, even taking you out to the park a few minutes each day so you can run around. He talks to Melone about continuing your education, and asks Sorbet and Gelato if they'd let the spare room next to them be turned into a bedroom for you. He's going to make sure he raises you right.
Risotto may be quiet and introverted, but do not mistake that for emotionally distant. He does not underestimate his vital role in your emotional well-being, and is quick to pick up on when you are feeling sad or lonely. He makes sure to pick you up in his arms and ask what's wrong when that happens.
Though he didn't know her well, he mourns your mother with you, and is very watchful for the signs of attachment issues that may result from losing a parent at such a tender age. Being all you have left, Risotto gains a new instinct of self-preservation. For the first time in years, his life has meaning.
In terms of bonding, he prefers calm activities that allow him to passively observe your interests, such as watching movies or reading you books. When he's working in his office and doesn't need his camera on, he's happy for you to sit in his lap as long as you're quiet. He would ask if you don't read what's on his screen, though, at least not while you're so young. He'll give you a better explanation of what he's doing some day, but not just yet.
Sorbet and Gelato, with a 12 year old daughter
First of all, let's make clear that regardless of which one is biologically your father, they both feel equal responsibility for you. No doubt they were both present for your conception anyway, so as far as they're concerned, if one of them has a secret kid from a hookup, they both have a secret kid from a hookup.
Having always wanted children, they are happy when you appear on the doorstep and introduce yourself as their daughter. Though they don't say it out loud to avoid upsetting you, they kind of wish your mum had kicked it sooner so they could have raised you from a younger age, but they're more than happy to make do with what they've got. There's no hesitation in welcoming you to live with them permanently, and anyone who has a problem with this isn't brave enough to say it.
Right from the get-go they are very permitting parents, awarding you a generous helping of their cash each week and having a rule list that pretty much starts and ends with "don't talk to the police." Despite your age they don't expect you to be independent, and are happy to cook for you and help you out with other things when you ask. It seems parenthood was made for them.
Despite all this, there is one problem in your relationship that is making things difficult. That of your fathers' work. You're 12 years old and you aren't stupid. You know they kill for a living and you know they enjoy it. When you stumble into the bathroom at 1am to find them covered in blood and laughing together, there's no making excuses. No matter how good they are with you, this is going to make you afraid of them.
Sorbet and Gelato are incredibly stringent in solving these early issues. After all these years they've finally got the family they wanted, and they aren't going to let it slip away from their own cruelty. They are honest with you about their occupation, since they want you to know you can trust them, and make absolutely clear it won't affect their care for you. You are welcome to ask questions and receive honest answers, but other than that Sorbet and Gelato will make a point of not accidentally causing you to witness something you shouldn't.
With them, you are welcome to continue your old life in terms of school and friends. They want to spend time with you, but they don't want to overtake your existence completely. When you are up for it, they are keen to take you on outings that interest you so you can spend time together as a family. They hope you know how happy you make them.

Copy and pasted from elsewhere. My attempt to summarize Roman Holiday!
Roman's story follows him as a young man in Mistral, getting into trouble with a pair of Spider goons (Brick and Mortar). They attack him for mugging someone on their turf, so he beats them up and steals the protection money they were carrying. A week later, the Spiders pick him up and bring him to meet Lil' Miss herself. (Roman likes milfs.) He convinces her that he can do better than her current people, and eventually rises to become her right-hand man over the years.
But he's overly-ambitious, taking the Twins on a raid of a gang's base of operations. Paul Parrot has a "treasure" in the basement, which turns out to be a Rat Grimm he imported from Menagerie that he feeds people to. Roman manages to outwit him by injuring the Grimm with the twins' help, then provokes Paul until he flips out and his rage makes him the more desirable target for the Grimm. They escape, but Lil' Miss is pissed about him moving on his own AND putting her daughters' at risk. This was all according to his plan, as he wanted to get out of having to play bodyguard to the twins.
Eventually, he's caught taking an extra protection payment for himself. His old partner, Cammie (very similar to Ilia) warns him and lets him escape after a fight. He flees Mistral, going over his options — Vacuo has a strong criminal element, but it's hard to break into. Atlas is...well...Mantle has nothing worthwhile and trying in Atlas itself is too risky. So he heads for Vale.
Roman's first criminal act is holding up a bank, which goes comically. Literally no one believes its happening, because Vale doesn't HAVE major criminal stuff happening. A pair of incompetent Huntsmen (Roch and Kandi) try to stop him, but end up beaten while Roman escapes. They end up in hot water of their behavior, with Ozpin being interviewed about it briefly. Roman begins building a name for himself, coming to the attention of Hei Xiong. He's threatened, but walks away alive and decides to further reinvent himself by having his Spiders tattoo covered.
Meanwhile, young Trivia begins to rebel against her parents. They keep her in isolation, forcing her to wear a brown contact to hide her mismatched eyes in photos and whenever guests come over. Her father is a prominent City Manager working for the Vale council, and they make a big fuss over her "overactive imagination" and "refusal" to speak. She has a private tutor, a former Huntress that was fired from Signal Combat School after getting a student killed. I THOUGHT it might be Gretchen, but it doesn't match what we know — it was Signal, not Beacon, so Ozpin wasn't involved. Trivia drugs her teacher and sneaks out using her Semblance. She goes into the city and gets bullied by a gang of girls, ending with the police picking her up. One of the officers suspects abuse, but their hands are tied. There's a party going on, and Trivia rampages through it using her Semblance to cause trouble.
As the years go on, Trivia keeps sneaking out and rebelling. She goes on a stealing spree in town, coming home with a ton of new stuff. Her father catches her and notes that he paid everyone off to cover up her antics. In a rage, she throws her new parasol at him. This leads to her parents locking her in her room, using increasingly complex locks. She studies tutorials and manuals to learn to pick locks, but eventually has one too complex. With "Neo"'s encouragement, she tries to damage the lock with hairspray and a candle. Instead, she starts a fire and is forced to leap from her window to escape. In doing so, she discovers she can make her illusions more solid temporarily — reinforcing her parasol to break her fall, and being caught by "Neo". Her parents are furious, and her mother smashes "Neo" in front of her. Trivia finds she can no longer make "Neo", but realizes it was simply her own wishes being expressed by her Semblance.
Trivia is sent to Lady Browning's private finishing school, a school her mother graduated from. It has incredibly strict rules, uniforms, and a bunch of mean girls led by the Malachite Twins. Trivia is relentlessly bullied, until one night she sneaks out to follow the twins. She witnesses them attack Roman, and helps him escape. Afterwards, Lady Browning offers her a spot in her "advanced" program and asks her to help capture Roman. This advanced program trains...well....basically Black Widows, for lack of a better way to describe it. Advanced combat lessons, espionage training, lessons in deception and reading other people, ect. Trivia excels, but also makes contact with Roman. She introduces herself as Neo, because she doesn't want to be connected to her father. She also begins dying her hair and altering her uniform, beginning to create the persona we all know.
They immediately form a strong partnership, with Roman training her further in combat and criminal stuff. He has the Schemes Board from Chibi, and they plot together before pulling off their first big heist. They hit up the warehouse supplying most of the city's coffee, and steal what they can. Roch shows up, having lost his license and out for revenge. Neo hits him with a truck to save Roman, and they end up destroying the warehouse leaving them with the only supply of coffee to fence. Roman gifts Neo with Hush, while she gives him his signature hat and makes matching outfits for them.
They carry out various wacky crimes, making a profit while putting Xiong in an awkward position. He controls crime in Vale, and has the police under his thumb. But he doesn't want to claim he's involved with these wacky crimes, nor does he want to admit he's got competition. His conflict with Lil' Miss starts heating up, with both parties starting to gun for Roman.
Neo discovers Lady Beat's server room, and realizes the school is a way not only to train agents but to basically have hidden cameras on all the prominent families/businesses in Vale. She steals the hard drive, fights off the Twins when they come for her, and realizes Lil' Miss and Lady Beat are working together. Honey Wine, Roman's old friend from Mistral, helps the Spiders capture him to pay off her loan to Lil' Miss for her Vale nightclub. In desperation, Neo approaches a pair of cops parked outside Roman's apartment — they take her to Xiong, who calls himself her "uncle". He explains that her father owes him a lot of money, and he intends to use her as a hostage to get his money. Even so, he wishes he had a smart kid like her instead of his idiot son Junior. Neo knocks him out and assumes his appearance, joining his forces as they go after Lil' Miss and her gang.
Neo hijacks the Bullhead, rescues Roman, and then they decide to lie low at her parents' for lack of anywhere else to go. Cue a nod to Blake and Sun visiting Menagerie, with Roman shocked when she points out that the big mansion is her house. Her parents are furious, but let them in. Her parents drug them with tea, intending to trade Roman and the hard drive to Lil' Miss to get out from under Xiong. They've both been hoping to take over Xiong's empire, but Roman faked being drugged and takes them both out. He finds Neo, and they devise a plan to get everyone off their backs and get rid of the hard drive. Roman sends the data to Lisa Lavender, while Neo plays decoy and discovers her father in her old room. She realizes he was stealing Dust from Xiong, and hiding the cache UNDER her room. This was the reason he was so angry about the fire. She's furious to realize he basically had her locked in a prison over a bomb, and locks him in her old room.
She disguises herself and Roman as her parents, then tricks Lil' Miss into firing on her old room. The Dust explodes, killing everyone still inside the mansion — her father, and likely her mother, Lady Beat, and Hei Xiong. Roman asks if she's okay, but Neo is kind of...shrugs and not sure how she feels. They ride off into the sunset together.
So basically, Roman and Neo are best buddies. Roman was QUITE LITERALLY Neo’s first and only friend, after a lifetime of isolation and bullying. Also the first person to not give a shit about her being mute, or about her “weird eyes”. He just accepted her without question, and encouraged her to never settle for less than  she could take.
Junior is a pathetic crime boss because he’s the idiot son of the ACTUAL crime boss, who Neo ended up killing. He seems to have submitted to Lil’ Miss Malachite after his father died.
Neo is a Black Widow highly-trained spy and assassin, as well as a Savant that learns rapidly through observation and a shit-ton of tutorial videos. She loved Fairy Tales growing up, with her favorite being “The Girl in the Tower”. (lol)
