The tightness is constricting and I am on day 2 of re-introducing the block to focus on this area. The stomach, hips, and lower back were finally letting up after tension build up from the move and getting back into more vigorous exercise routine. (Part 2/2) So, this holiday break isn’t going exactly as planned. Turns out, that super tired feeling I had during the very last class was an intense sinus cold waiting to strike me down! 🤧😵 . When a cold is wreaking havoc on your muscles and joints and you can’t be as mobile as you’d like to be, it can be just as fatiguing as the cold itself. I’m so happy to have #pilates in my back pocket, ready to ease the aches and pains. Made these vids for a client so thought I'd share them. These stretches take only minutes and help unlock the hips. I constantly deal with tight hips resulting in waddling instead of a fluid gait. I always do these after a workout and immediately feel myself walking more aligned.
