SO I DREW SORA’S MOM A LOT FOR NO GOTDAMN REASON AT ALL IDK I JUST WANTED TO SHUT UP OK 

So anyway some of you all might remember the design I came up with for Sora’s mom, Himari (of course I kinda had to invent both that name and her design seeing as how we’ll likely never see her in canon and if we do then I’m boutta look stupid as fuck for this but whatever). Some of you might also remember that little drabble I wrote a few weeks back bout a Keys to the Kingdom AU of a fucking AU in which Sora’s dad, Tsuki, survives Terranort’s attempt at killing him. Long story short in that AU is that Sora’s parents end up heavily involved in the events of KH1, KH2, and Keys as a result and I thought it would be cute/cool if in that AU, Himari traveled with the Trinity Trio for the events of KH2 because I’m a sap for some mother/son sweetness. We were talking about all this over on the Discord when I realized Himari would get to take part in all the cool world transformations in Keys and I was like “Welp I gotta draw the mom a ton” soooo here we are. 

With that long-winded explanation out of the way, lemme run through each of these beautiful ladies! Up top we have what would be her standard adventuring outfit for KH2, then ya got a good Lion Mom carrying her incredibly embarrassed cub who swears he’s too old to be babied like that but Himari does not care in the slightest ahaha, then you got a BEAUTIFUL Mermaid Mom who is 100% here for Musical Time in Atlantica (Himari would have a LOVELY singing voice, I imagine, she’s nowhere near as unfortunately tone deaf as Sora sort of is XD), and then a cute Cartoon Mom for Timeless River!

After that, we get ourselves a Hot Witch Mom for Halloween Town, as well as a bonus doodle of her hanging with an awfully familiar looking bat... hm... wonder who that could be...? ;3, followed by an adorable Elf Mom for Christmas Town. I didn’t feel like doing a Space Paranoids design because hhhhh who cares so instead I decided to do some fun Prom Shenanigans from the Castle of Dreams chapter of Keys. Himari looks absolutely lovely, thinks her son looks soooo cute in his little suit (she’s embarrassing him again but he allows it this time ahaha) and she gets to share a nice dance or two with her dashing husband. Anyway this fuckin description is way too long, hopefully you all enjoy these INCREDIBLY self indulgent drawings I did that are so stupidly niche like why did I waste two days on this oh well it was fun and I liked it so whatever bye

oh my GOD Settle! is officially my favorite fic ever. i’ve read it multiple times by now, i can’t get enough of it 🤧 may i ask some questions? when did oikawa start to fall for the reader/devise a plan to get her pregnant and his forever? also, im assuming Oiks forces you to live with him and his son after everything goes down. Does he take months off work to stay with you at home to take care of you while you’re pregnant? How will he make sure you don’t try to do anything stupid? 🤭 anyways, BRILLIANT work as always ❤️

it’s kind of a slow burn thing. he never hired her with the intention of breeding her - it was just so that he could have somebody watch hatori while he was busy. but he sees how good she is with him, how naturally she seem to fit into their little life - it’s the little things, the way hatori clings to her, how sweet she is when he comes home. she plays the role of mother/wife so perfectly, is it his fault that he starts imagining how it would feel to make that a reality?

and if she fell pregnant during the off season he’d absolutely spend every second hovering over her, but he can’t afford to take the time off if it’s during the volleyball season - he’ll just have to fiddle with his home security system. it’s top of the line, the very best at keeping people out, it shouldn’t be too hard to alter it so that nobody gets in or out. and thank you!!

Settle was sooo good! i can’t verbalize how fantastic it is. When Hatori grows up, will Oikawa convince him that you’re his real mom? next, I’m guessing darling will hate Oikawa for forcing her to become his wife and bear his kids, but how does she feel about your kid (or kids in the future)? will she love them and pretend like youre a normal family? or will she try to run away post birth?

i actually think that oikawa would be honest with hatori (at least about who his birth mother is) you’re his mum, the one who raised him, who loves him, the only one who really matters, but if he asked oikawa would tell him about the fling, about how he was abandoned, how she didn’t want anything to do with him. 

as far as the reader’s feelings regarding hatori and her own future kids go, it’s hard to say. i don’t think she’d ever outright hate or resent them, even if she never wanted them, but they are what ties her to oikawa, so it’s complicated. i don’t think she’d ever be able to hold it against them, and with oikawa manipulating and isolating her, they’re all she has. they’re family, after all

oikawa has absolutely no feelings (at least not positive ones) towards hatori’s birth mother. if she ever showed up wanting to be involved in his life, oikawa’d kick her to the curb. she had her chance, she gave him up and walked away, he won’t let her stroll back into the picture and fuck with the picture perfect family he has. and yes, oikawa genuinely loves the reader - not in a healthy way, but it’s selfishness that drives him to take her

she definitely took it to be more of a teasing thing than anything else - caught in a compromising - albeit kinda cute - position by her employer. of course he’d want to embarrass her by making the pic his lock screen. if anything, she likely thought that he’d delete it later, or crop it so that it was just hatori. and thank you, bby!!

Stories I Want To Write

i was tagged by @omgkalyppso and i’ve been wanting to get back into writing for a while now, but it’s been real hard because my mental health is in the terlet~ so here’s stuff i’m workin on atm or want to work on

1. My vaguely planned novel that pretty much only has Main Characters and a vague plot at this point that involves a Dragon Dad and his terrible adopted merc son

2. The Widomauk fic my friend commissioned from me like a billion years ago. Thankfully, that friend has not Hunted Me For Sport.... yet. It’s like??? almost 5000 words at this point. they still haven’t boned. rip me.

3. A cutesy/fun flashback to the time my gunslinger, Brahm, went to a fancy ball with his late husband, and he let his husband dress him up in a “disguise” so he wouldn’t be anxious in that sort of environment. I’ve started it, but it’s not much more than the two of them being schmoopy idiots.

4. Brahm having (potentially???) naughty~ dreams about his current flame... again, another thing i’ve only done intro for?

5. Some Pyre/Astarion stuff to fill the void of the fact that i can’t afford the game, and even if i could, the chances of being able to play it on my 5 year old laptop are slim. I’ve got a few ideas. One is a rewrite of the feeding scene, and the other is just. Smut. it’s cold out here, y’all.

6. Plans for the end of Arc 2 of my homebrew campaign (on hiatus while I fish myself out of the terlet) which includes a whole ass dungeon 😵

7. Some personal stuff wrt two of the NPCs from my campaign Bein Gay~

8. A separate novel with urban fantasy elements so i can repurpose a Fandom OC who deserves so much more than the world he was initially born into, but that would require so much work hfakjhdkjh

PRESENTING. RANDOM DEEP DIVE WITH INDIGO-MUN AT 2AM ;

FIRST NAME Good fucking question… It’s (sort-of) currently Dylann! I was Kieran before that, though; it’s still used as one of my first names and I’m not used to Dylann quite yet bc I’ve just started using it. 

Indigo is one of my middle names though, and I’ve used it as an online handle elsewhere forever so I use it here now!  [ Fun etymology facts: Dylan(n) is a mythology name generally meaning “born of the wave” (aspiring diver & a water witch at heart). Kieran means “little dark one” bc of my love for horror, && I chose Indigo bc as a kid to be it was neither boy (blue) or purple (girl) and was both and neither as well as my absolute favorite color as this vibrant ass mystical color. ]

STRANGE FACT ABOUT YOURSELF hmmmmm…. I’m a horror lover at heart, so as a child (I wanna say 12), I was walking through an antique store (I have a few cool finds, I considered putting my other one as the fact tbh) and I turned the corner and I saw these two dolls staring back at me at the foot of the stairs of this antique building. my blood froze, and i felt my stomach drop. i got actual, physical goosebumps stumbling across these two creepy dolls staring back at me in the corner, and i couldn’t leave the store without them. perhaps the little painted porcelain boy would be somewhat spooky by himself if it wasn’t for the terrifying lidded gaze of the porcelain girl with the hairline fractures and slightly open lips. i cant look at her. i dont really find dolls scary, I like to find the spookier ones ones, and she makes me paranoid as hell. i keep her face covered and her up in my closet except for when i bring her out to show her off proudly as the spookiest thing I have but……. i dont really collect dolls anymore.  even thinking about her brings a fearful tear to my eye.  i don’t like to think about her for very long, but that’s why I’m so fucking proud to own her. ( YES — I’m THAT white person in the horror film )

FAVORITE BOOK White Fang by Jack London. Have I actually ever finished it? No. Do I still own a copy I’ve had since childhood thru multiple dogs eating it, taking it to and from school, and highlighting and circling all the best parts of chapter one ever since I was a kid and it was too hard of a book for me to read? You bet your ass. If I ever need inspiration I just reread chapter 1. Although one of my other favorites was Broken Monsters by Lauren Beukes. But White Fang is like, a weirdly personal text. We stan London’s writing in this household.

Death to the American Dream: MM #7

Sooo while writing this I came the closest to crying whilst writing than I have in a looog time. God. Excuse me hhhhh Inspired by the following lyrics from Crooked Still’s Undone in Sorrow:

Words: 483 Content warnings: Mentions of war & divorce, heavily implied/described mental health issues (anxiety). Also vague 1940’s divorce proceedings, which were bullshit!

It had been a year since they moved to Port Cassandra, California, together, when Emily made an unusual request of Alistair. An unusual, heartbreaking request. A request that, had it been made in another century, would have been visible on the horizon for a while now.

Emily wanted a divorce. She said so, with shoulders drawn and brows strung together. She needed him to make it work, and it crushed him.

It wasn’t her desire to leave, the sense of abandonment, that hurt the most, really. It was knowing that he was no longer the kind of man who could keep her, and that was what had pushed her so far as to ask for something so difficult for her, something she required his cooperation so fully to go through with.

But who was he to trap her with him?

Who was he to tell her she could not go? To tie her down in a miserable existence with him for the rest of her life. To force her to carry him, as he seemed unable to catch his footing. He could not, he would not, trap her with a husband she did not want.

A husband who balked at the mere idea of going to a social event, a party, a dance hall, tea at her newest friend’s house. Who occasionally promised his attendance and later spun into an anxious breakdown just before leaving. Who now spent more time hiding and worrying and fearing than living like they once had, out and visible and social.

So he agreed, without looking her in the face and with his fingers knitted together between his knees. In court he limply agreed that he had been unfaithful, multiple times, and so her claim to divorce was valid.

She kept the house, and he found an apartment closer to the heart of the city, closer to the police department where he worked.

He mourned the collapse of his marriage, which felt closer to being the collapse of his entire life. He was ashamed to admit he had never cried so much in his life, when nobody was there to witness it. His father would not be proud, that was for sure.

Before the war, he and Emily had had plans. Real, solid plans. They would have children, at least two. He would have his own vehicular repair shop, one day. They would have a house, and a yard, perhaps a dog and a cat. They would raise their children until they left to lead their own lives, and they would grow old together.

All that was impossible now. Gone. A future dashed, at least for him. Many of those things were things Emily could have with another man.

At times, often times then, he felt as if there were a large man sitting on his chest and God conjuring dark, heavy rain clouds behind his tired eyes.

Do you have any experiences with a famous person?i doooo actually, ive met some people around here who were like holding a free promo event or something so ive talked to some peeps. my fave story that i still like telling to people tho was how i met one of the biggest popstars in the country in a similar free promo event where he was holding a short show and doing a signing afterwards and i was so nervous about meeting him (i wasnt. even a fan LMAO i was there mainly cause my sister loves him soso much and she didnt want to go alone) so i just kinda. went into a panic mode when it was my time to get his signature and i just looked at him when he asked how i was doing and blurted out “I REALLY LOVE YOUR SHOES” cause honestly? his boots were flipping amazing. and he just smiled at me so sweetly and went “oh, really? thank you so much! i just bought these last weekend and they are my favorite shoes, im so glad you like them! i hope you have a great weekend!” and i still constantly think about this cause he was so nice and i was so nervous and everything but asdnkajsnd it was fun tho

What's the best dream you've had?man i dont. even know tbh lol. i dont really have super great dreams that i remember, most of my dreams are just super bizarre and weird cause of my medication but mmmm. immediately one that comes to mind (even tho it had a lot of questionable elements in it tho) was the one where i was forced to ride a rollercoaster with cryaotic and we bonded over hating rollercoasters. even tho i dont actually hate rollercoasters but how can you tell him no in that situation?

IVE BEEN EORKING ON THIS ACTUALLy

I’m currently planning a campaign of my own and like half of it takes place at a university so I sort of just need a pile of characters I can pull from for social interactions, and I’m going to try and make a bunch of fun referential characters from different media to see if anyone can recognize them!

Quackity is a bard, case closed, Wilbur too. I’m thinking changeling for Quackity cause of his impressions and characters he plays, Wilbur I had down tentatively as a half elf.

I can’t figure out what I wanna do with techno ;_; so many classes fit him!!! I’m thinking of going zealot barbarian with a fighter multiclass of some sort, just this big ol dude who hangs around the library, maybe runs a book club. But I’m also incredibly tempted by working Paladin in there somewhere hhhhh!!!

And I added a secondary type of Orcs I half-homebrewed cause tbh Orcs get the short end of the stick in all lore so I just thought I’d do it myself, it’s basically the same except they’re red and the stat bonuses swap around and there’s a weird rule with movement in difficult terrain I’d have to go find and I don’t want to right now, they’re called Highland Orcs and they live in high elevations and cold climates, and I figured that’s where I’d shove Techno cause red+cold weather, but I do also like the hobgoblin idea.

Two of my critical NPC’s are a guy who just got a degree to teach literature and his husband who is in the town guard, so Techno is probably gonna be one of their friends.

Tubbo is absolutely a swarmkeeper ranger, that’s not up for debate, I already drew him and everything. Tubbo like a da bee, but da bee don’t like you. He’s an aasimar in my universe cause of the backstory I’m working on for my big crossover au thing. It also makes a cool dictionary with Schlatt

I also had Tommy down as a human rogue, swashbuckler is cool but I had that down for Puffy, so I was thinking Thief for Tommy. Obviously Tommy and Tubbo just run around causing problems on purpose.

Your Phil call makes sense, I had him down tentatively as Druid for some reason, probably cause he reminds me of the archdruid npc from a different campaign I’m in. But I’ll probably just run with that, if I put him in at all. Maybe he works for the college. Head of the history department? Yeah that tracks.

tiefling Schlatt lives in my head rent free, he was the second one I drew, he’s an arcane trickster who sells bootleg textbooks behind the cafeteria, I’m not taking any other options.

I have no idea what I’m doing with Ranboo but my immediate race pick was Drow just cause I have a HUGE soft spot for it and it was the closest thing I could think of to an enderman (black skin, tall, skinny, easy to piss off) and idk what I was gonna do about the whole half white thing idk he has a skin condition. I also had him down as a horizon walker ranger cause A. Rangers need more love and B. Teleportation

I can’t remember why but for some reason I had Niki marked down as an artificer??? I’m leaning Cleric now, but I’m thinking having her make potions might be cool too.

I am literally so desperate to talk about dnd versions of dsmp characters it’s not even funny. Wilbur would be some sort of bard for sure... lore bard is funny but I actually think his character fits a college of whispers bard more maybe? Half elf, definitely!

And Techno could definitely fit a couple different classes, but I’d bet he’d be a battlemaster/zealot barbarian multiclass. Battle tactics + raging out in the name of a god? Oh yeah, baby. But for race, does he fit orc or hobgoblin more 🤔

Tommy is such a little thief in the SMP that he has to be a rogue. He’s not very subtle, but I do I think the Swashbuckler rogue subclass could totally fit lol! I mean, it literally says “your confidence propels you into battle” which screams Tommy to me haha. He could also possibly be a berserker barbarian... I feel like his race might fit human best, as boring as that is lol

Phil is a way of the long death monk and I stand by that lmao! I’d say Aasimar for race, but I want the immortal feel for him (and to be related to Wilbur) so maybe Avariel Elf instead?

Ranboo is some sort of tiefling, but I have noooo idea what his class would be. Maybe some sort of sorcerer?

Dream... hmmm... Oath of Glory or Oath of Conquest Paladin? Eldritch Knight? Sorcadin or Palock optimized multiclass? Idk but he’d be some sort of min-maxed sword and board for sure. And it would be SO funny if he was a changling... (pale white, no one knows what he looks like? Oh yeah)
