News: I am doing an art raffle so that my friend @safaamq10 can get to safety with her family. Safaa has also been vetted here.

If you donate a minimum of $5 USD to Safaa and show proof of your donation to her gofundme, then you will be entered in to win a fully colored, full background, fully rendered art piece (such as the examples you see above) from me featuring whatever you want (within the set rules). Safaa is also vetted by Ahmed here on her previous blog that was deleted by staff.

The Raffle will go from now until October 31, 2024.

New illustrations and merchandise released for Kujibikido's online lottery!

From Kujibikido comes a new line of merchandise called "Let's Eat's Together"! The new illustrations will come in products of mugs, can badges, standees, bromides, and paper illustrations! It seems the only way to obtain these is through a lottery ticket system where you can purchase a ticket that will be entered through a raffle. If you are one of the winners of the raffle, then you will be allowed to purchase these. Ticket sales period will range from May 9th to May 20th, 4:59 PM JST. The selling price will start at ¥770 yen and even if you order multiple items, the flat rate will be ¥550 yen for nationwide shipping. It will ship from late July to August and there will be no overseas orders allowed. It seems to be that there will be different probabilities of winning depending on the product:

Stand panels: 1/100

Mugs: 3/100

Acrylic stand figures: 22/100

Paper illustration: 33/100

Can badges: 41/100

There is also another raffle being held through the Kujibikido official account. If you retweet their twitter post, 3 winners will be randomly selected to receive the can badges set! You must enter by May 30th, 4:59 PM JST in order to qualify. Customers who also purchase about 10 sets will receive a set of bromides! The set that will be received is selected at random.

How to enter the lottery (according to Kujibikido):

When ticket sales are open, click the purchase button.

Choose your quantity of tickets that you would like to purchase. A one-time shipping fee will be charged.

A KADOKAWA-ID will be required to enter the lottery. If you do not have an account, you must make one.

Select your payment method.

The lottery will be held immediately after your payment. No refunds or cancellations are allowed.

If you win a product, it will be delivered to the according delivery address. You will need to check the lottery summary for estimated time.

You can learn more about the products through the Kujibikido website!! Note: Not all stores ship internationally. A proxy or forwarding service may have to be utilized. Please keep this in mind and do your own research when buying Hetalia goods from Japan!

Just spent all morning tagging all my 16 years worth of works as "Not authorized for inclusion in third-party AI datasets", thanks for that deviantArt. And that "third-party" part is suspicious, I don't want to authorise my art to be used for first-party AI datasets either. And I'm not sure how much use this endeavour was; I wouldn't be surprised if they already included everything uploaded on dA and this would only prevent any new datasets. dA just keeps getting more hateable and it's not the first time I'm considering just stopping using it, but it is the place where I've catalogued all my fandom history, and what alternatives are there? I really wish there was an ao3 for art.

Still a trip down the memory line every now and then isn't an awful idea, and it was fun to see what kind of stuff I've drawn over the years. Especially the dress ups I did for advent calendars some decade ago based on follower requests a decade ago (goodness gracious it's been long), many of them were raffle winners picked randomly so I had no relationship with the source material. So now I'm running into dress ups I have no memory making, like I've drawn Hetalia, Ace Attorney, Harley Quinn, Fairy Tail, Adventure Time, Pretty Rhythm, Final Fantasy, Prince of Tennis, and Resident Evil??? I do vaguely remember researching a wiki for the Homestuck ones...

You guys have probably noticed a lack of posts in the last couple of days...

And that’s because it’s time for preparations on the 200 follower special! We’re not quite there yet, but if the growth of this blog in the past is anything to go by, we’ll hit it fast.

So! For 200 followers, I’ll be doing a raffle. To enter, you just need to like this post and I’ll add your username. This is also for followers only, but new followers are welcome! If you want a second you can receive them by reblogging this post with the tag “200follower raffle”, or for those of you who don’t want to reblog, sending an ask telling me what you’d like to see more of in the future. (By that I mean what kind of headcanons and scenarios, not just “more answered asks”)

The winner will receive a fully customizable scenario. Characters, plot, genre, you name it. It’s all your choice. (You could even request a set of short ficlets if you want.)

Of course, there are characters and genres I’m better at, so when we get to that, the winner and I can discuss. That doesn’t mean anything (except yandere) is off the table, however! Yandere is the only thing off the table, due to events in the last few months I just can’t write it anymore.

It will run until the 5th of January, so a little bit over two weeks, though I might extend the time a little bit if needed. You can enter either by liking or reblogging this post.
