Eddie obviously knows how to sew (hes not only dirt-poor living off of a single consistent paycheck and whatever he earns selling drugs, but hes also a punk- theres no way he DOESNT know how to sew), but steve most definitely does. not. one of his shirts get a hole and he throws it out.
When eddie first witnesses this, hes fucking MORTIFIED and ends up digging a t-shirt out of the trash and sewing the hole closed and fixing the loose stitching on the hem and gives steve a lecture about not wasting fabric and money.
And from then on, steve just shows up at the munson household every now and then with various clothes in his arms, asking eddie to fix them for him.

This episode has so much going on but it's a great season start#I adore how the juniors bicker in the opening scene....especially jin ling#I know there's more to him wanting to help out than just the jingle jangle of the clarity bell but also#from the outside it really does look like wwx jingled a little bell in front of him and made him go from 'not helping' to 'fine I'll help'#I also have failed to capitalize on the fact little jin ling has a bell on him. It has meaning and emotional weight. However.#JC really said: 'this little boy keeps getting underfoot and lost in crowds. I'll put a bell on him'.#Its stated that *all* the yunmeng jiang disciples had a clarity bell. Which is 1) funny to think they all wander off at times 2) owwww#Also extra 'Owww' the audio drama adds with this scene is the weight on how wwx never got to give baby JL the bell he carved as a gift#That little bell can hold so much significance to so many aspects of these character's lives.#'Clarity' as an adjective here is also pulling some fun weight. JL slowly coming to truly see myx/wwx as someone more than the rumours#have made him out to be. Teen discovers that you should make your own decisions about someone! Good for him!#JL is a great character and I like him more than my silly little comic design implies.

So have the group processed what using a rite of resurrection might’ve meant for Xingqiu or was there too much from the info dump to process
there was too much from the info dump yeah
the only one that did process it was chongyun, but only like- as he was telling xingqiu. and xingqiu was a bit too caught up on morax being dead to really get it, so as chongyun was like- consoling him, he was in his head like 'oh my god. he died. he- nearly died. we couldve lost him. we couldve lost him.'
#when xingqiu calmed down and chongyun still hadn't let go he was like uh im fine now thank you#and chongyun was like give me a minute holy shit#and xingqiu decided not to look a gifted horse in the mouth so he just let the poor guy squeeze him for like an extra five minutes
