Malec College Roommates Headcanons

To kinda lift the mood a bit after that new trailer, I thought I'd post a couple of headcanons I came up with yesterday. I might add some more later, though. • I'm not sure what their majors would be. My initial ideas were law for Magnus and maybe psychology for Alec, but that might change later. • Alec at first is kinda awkward and almost prickly around Magnus, because he doesn't know him and isn't really sure what to do around him. • Various complications meant that neither of them got the roommate they'd wanted- Alec had wanted to share with Jace, and Magnus had wanted to share with Raphael. However, they end up making friends. • Magnus is a social butterfly, but Alec prefers to keep to himself with the exception of a couple of clubs, including an archery club. • Alec tends to stay in the library when he doesn't have class. Sometimes Magnus joins him, it depends. • Magnus tries to talk Alec into getting a fake ID and going out a bit more, neither of which he has much success with. • At one point, he smuggles a stray cat into the dorm, and whilst this doesn't last long, he manages to get another one the following year, when they and their friends move out of the dorms. • They do get together, of course, it just takes a while.
