I'm bored:
Do you remember I mentioned Hunter!Boulder, Heatwave, Blades and Bee and also made reference to Chase in the crossover-multiverse thing I made? Well, I just talk a bit on that weird crossover I made, let's talk seriously of Hunters of the Cosmos Au:
👇
IRL Context: Like all the Au's I've made this far, I don't remember when or how I exactly thought of the idea, but I remember I was hearing "Voracity" or "Clattanoia" (the Amalee's covers because I don't know a thing about Overlord but FREACKING GOD, THOSE COVERS ARE SO AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH) because I'm obssesed with those two covers, I don't remember which one was, but now that I remember, there's this guy, the creator or Pixie and Brutus webcomic who also does comedy mini comics and one of them was about this little girl with a huge dad that was being asked by the principal why she would kill aliens if they come to Earth (she asked back "why would an advance species want to be friends") and time later she became a soldier who kick alien asses in such a cool way, but all those factors made me think "what and how it would be if the Transformers, counting the rescue team, never were on Earth to protect or to hide, but to conquer..." and here we are, also, due to the anime's context and because I watched Heavenly Delusion relative close in time when I started to hear the covers, I took also the topic of them being strange and monster beings and freacking God, it worked, now we have this strange Au about them akajlskajs also, I made it mostly to do some Earthspark ansgt and the best part GENERAL ANGST, now, the true context:
In-Context-Story: After the terrible war between Unicron and the 13 Primes, only Quintus and Onyx survived the tragedy, compared to other universes, nonetheless, they could take the other relics
Because of this, Quintus wanted to make something to remember their siblings, creautures that could take different forms like Amalgamous, who were compassionate like Prima and Alchemist, strong like Megatronus and Solus, smart like Alpha and Liege, wise like Vector and Alchemist, and over everything: kind like Thirtheen, but also, had Onyx's physical form and as Quintus, were capable of create life. They called themselves Predacons
Time later, those creatures started to use Cybertron and made them their home, thanks to their remaining primes, they learned to live peacefully and use the land correctly, which lead them to various communities that could live properly, thanks to Black Swan and their father, Onyx Prime
Nonetheless, Quintus was curious, and a bit avaricious, his mission of create went to far and ended up creating maybe the most dangerous being he could make: the Quintessons, conquerors and malicious, they took over Cybertron when they could, killing their rulers and controlling the people like slaves, their culture finally was lost and all the wisdom they collected was destroyed, which led to fear and chaos over the planet
The people at some point rised up against their slavers, but the collective memory was so distortionated that when the Quintessons went away, the Cybertronians imitated their system, becoming disrespectful and also slavers like theirs
Time passed again, and with time, chaos, a young miner named D-16 rised up against the government and all the planet sudenlly fell in a war that almost destroyed their species
They started to see their own citizens as war machines, if they could fly, dig or bite was more important than their compassion to them, and when it was almost too late, the self-named Megatron and the now Prime, Optimus, decided it was time to stop, but the planet was dried, so, they took all they could, including ancient knowledge they discovered on Cybertron's heart, and go away
The autobots and decepticons that remained passed some time on space, searching for a planet with enough resources for them to live, finding on the travel a floating ship that saved four predacons, rescue cons who went out of the planet before the war started and missed a lot, they kept them and continued with their travel, finding this planet: Earth. It had a lot of things that they could use for living, water, good soil, an atmosphere, the only problem was it's big plage problem, they tried to talk with them, and they answered with guns and bombs, which, due to the predacons desperate condition and no fuel to support the ships anymore, didn't let them other but to take the planet for the ugly ways...
Kade wasn't even born yet to remember but Charlie does clearly, when the first ship landed, there it was who his fellows called "The Gorilla" because when it transformed, it looked like one, and "Dino" to the next, because looked like one, after some time of losing comrades, Charlie got scared, his island and family was on danger, and himself, and due to that fear, he made a strange decision, one the predacons wouldn't take in mind of it if it wasn't for Optimus' compassionate side, decision that at some point still haunts him but tries to convice himself was the correct
...
It has passed almost 30 years since the Predacons landed on Earth, and the humans that remain still have divided opinions on it, they came to conquer, to kill and to take, nonetheless, Earth is maybe better now that when humans ruled, no matter how was or how would it be, things would be easier for Dorothea if her six and four year-old kids didn't found those eggs, one night hided on the farm and they hatched, five small creatures that didn't knew how to mantain or how much, but it was too late, two already were attached to her and the other three demostrated be strong, she kept them at frst for necesity but maybe she and her family got too much attached to these predacons, not knowing this present was the curse that others brought
M.E.C.H they call themselves, a paramilitar group that first fought against the predacons, and now dedicate to do buisnesses with the humans that remain to keep control over what's left (which is not much but still can deal with it), Silas directs them, and as part of his job he developed their way to fight against predacons, which is the maybe efficient and ugly way, but nature does, why they wouldn't? And the pups are easy prey, and the people who was protected by the two predacons on that island? Traitors, they deserved not to be trusted by the enemy, they're alright now, but it was still a good idea, and the other five eggs that still have on their power after losing the other five of the ten they had...? What if the best way to keep the enemy on place is by taking and using them...?

Masterpost of AUs
As promised, here's the (wip) masterpost of all my AUs. In alphabetical order with a short synopsis, and the tags are all on this post so you can easily search them up :) if there's any I missed, please send them to me so I can get them added! If the last tags aren't alphabetized that means I need to get on my laptop and move them around lmao
Bittersweet Reunion AU
TFA AU wherein the jet twins are Starscream's offspring specifically produced by the autobot government, and their finding out kicks off an entire domino effect storyline
Blitzbee Baby AU
Exactly what it sounds like. TFA Bumblebee gets Blitzwing sparked up and neither of them realize until he enters emergence
Cross Dimensional Shenanigans
- Umbrella tag for anything that involves more than one iteration of transformers interacting with each other
Cross Dimensional Starblitz
- How the CDS started. Focuses solely on TFP Starscream and TFA Blitzwing’s weird friendship
Cryptid Seekers AU
- Everything is the same except seekers are terrifying cryptids. Nuff said
Cybermorphs AU
- An AU in which a group of warframes working off planet accidentally stumble into an ancient, buried xenomorph nests, and come back to Cybertron bearing what becomes the first generation of cybertronian-xenomorph hybrids, aka the Cybermorphs. Features a lot of world building, Cybermorph Queen Megatron, a lot of fun alien biology, and some angsty MegOP among other ships
Cybertronians Are An Invasive Species
- No war AU wherein cybertronians are an invasive pest species that have moved onto earth and cause the most havoc
Cybertronians Are An Invasive Species: The Soap Opera
- Takes place in the invasive species AU, but specifically is about a goofy soap opera created by humans with the bots as the inspiration
De-Extinction AU
TFA, the autobots have finally run out of stored Allspark energy and, seeing as the artificially created population is completely sterile, are now an officially endangered species. Their only chance at salvation lies with the decepticons and their ability to produce "sparklings"... whatever those are 🤭
Hindsight AU
- Aligned continuity. Arcee goes back in time in an attempt to stop the war with the help of Vector Prime, accidentally creates a much worse world. Goes through several crazy timelines, currently on the Self Imposed Exodus.
OS×BB AU
A TFA storyline wherein Omega Supreme wakes much much earlier than canon, becoming truly self-aware and sentient. He and Bumblebee form a connection and Things Happen
Shadows House AU
- Exactly what it sounds like. All of our favorite bots and cons are parasitic fae members of the Shadows Family. Megatronus is plotting to bring it down from the inside. Lots of secrets and spooky stuff
Subnautica AU
- Starscream and Skyfire (and sometimes the other seekers) stranded on the terrifying hell planet, 4546B
Terran Task Force
- An angsty AU that involves GHOST getting their slimy hands on the Emberstone and making legions of their own little terran warriors
The Repopulation Project
- A dystopian future AU wherein the autobots won the war, and in an effort to save their species from extinction, implemented the repopulation project. It warped and twisted over time til the war frames are kept as nothing but livestock to be bought, traded, and harvested. In an attempt to change the horrific conditions of their present society, Optimus gambles by having decepticon high command reborn in the hopes that they'll be able to overturn the huge mess he made
Unicron Reborn AU
- Technically an AU/what-if of the 5th timeline of Hindsight. Unicron is killed and later reborn as a sparkling on Cybertron; Megatron adopts him. Later gives rise to The Spawn

Darkness Rising Part 4 Commentary
And here we are again. Part Four, lets get started!
Just a thought here with Ratchet's comment about Megatron desecrating the resting place of their ancestors, it is too bad that all of the zombies are just generic Cybertronians and that we don't get any big names from past incarnations. Sentinel Prime or Liege Maximo would have been great.
Then we cut to Bulkhead, Jack, Raf and Miko and I just have to wonder, what did Jack think his shielding Raf was going to do? The blasts from the Vehicons could probably kill them both with one shot.
I just love Bulkhead's voice when he opens up his chest and Miko pops up. It is just so hilarious.
Well, guess Bulkhead is going to a... car wash? I don't own a car, I walk or take public transit. Whatever it is, he'll need that vomit cleaned up.
Arcee and Bumblebee to the rescue!
Even after receiving multiple shocks, Fowler still has the guts to mess with Starscream. Good man.
It's not all fun and games when you are a human.
Megatron's comment about Optimus still be at the top of his game just brings me back to the question of how old some of these characters are in terms of a human lifespan.
It is a nice tender moment of Jack and Miko dropping everything to assure Raf everything will be alright, but Raf brings up a good point when he asks how they know. They are in the middle of the enemy base, Arcee, Bumblebee and Bulkhead are kind of on a suicide mission, they really don't know for certain if they'll be getting out of there.
And Drunk Fowler has arrived!
It is funny, because Drunk Fowler really is a distraction. Starscream just looks at him as if thinking "What?" It is a hilarious non sequitur.
Miko on one brain cell apparently. What is taking the Vehicon's picture going to do?
I mean, they sort of found Fowler. They just didn't find Sober Fowler.
Is it weird that I am suddenly thinking of the subject of energon transfusions?
Miko whipping out her phone is another thing I find hilarious. The screen is small enough as it is, but for someone of Optimus' size I'm surprised he didn't ask: "What am I supposed to be looking at?"
Yeah, like anyone has simply walked away from something like this.
Just something that came to my mind, but with G1 Starscream having a mutant spark that allowed for him to become a ghost, imagine how much worse the abuse Starscream faced here would be if that was also the case. Unless his body was disintegrated, he couldn't die, so Megatron, if he already knew, would probably be going all out on him.
I just love the scene of Miko coming to see Jack to give him his pep talk. First we have the fact that her cats are named "Chi Chi" and "Ding Dong", the former being Japanese slang for "breasts" and the latter American for "penis" and I just have the head canon that her parents are unfamiliar with a lot of slang and that Miko was aware of this and so named the cats that just to mess with her parents. Then we get to learn more about her and to put things in a different sort of a manner, she was a living ghost, alive and yet at the same time not, a reality and at the same time a fiction. Now, while I do ship Jack and Miko, her giving Jack a pep talk is not when I started shipping them, but in hindsight, it feels a little bit different than if it was Raf that came to see him, since it would have been very little brother coming to encourage his big brother. There might be a little bit of an attraction on Miko's part, but at this point I just think she saw more in Jack than he saw in himself and while he might not see it, he does look up when she leaves, thinking maybe she's right before returning to fixing his bike.
And that is Part Four of the pilot. Very good, I'll get to Part 5 sometime in the next week.

@deliicacymercy made this amazing fanart for the fic snip-it I posted of Rory, so who am I to deny them the full chapter.
Here's the first chapter of "The Knack," my Transformers OC fic.
Notes: its a Knockout-Centric Fic with a human OC. Breakdown is alive and well. Optimus is alive and well. Set in the Prime Universe: Post Predacons Rising, Pre-RID15 (or disregarding RID15 in general)
Chapter 1: Never Happened
“Knockout. Are you coming back soon?” Breakdown asked through his radio.
“Soon enough.” He replied. Even though he was in vehicle mode, it sounded as if he was gritting his dentaplates. “I have a human watching me.”
His partner laughed through the intercom. “What? Afraid to blow you’re cover? You’ve never cared about that slag before. Where are you?”
“Sending my coordinates. I was on my way home but ran into some… trouble. I’m trying to keep a low profile. This human looks like a screamer.”
“Speeding again?”
“Bingo, BD. This area is flooded with human law enforcement vehicles. I swear it’s like there’s one on every corner… Prime said we’re supposed to be ‘robots in disguise.’ If I make another scene Ratchet will make me do hotspot duty. Again.”
“Right. Well-”
“Finally! The human is leaving. Knockout; Out.” He ended the transmission quickly as the human in question walked closer to the car. Instead of continuing down the sidewalk, they stopped next to Knockout’s side mirror. They pulled a piece of paper off the thing they had been fiddling with, then flipped it over and scribbled something on the back.
It took everything Knockout had not to smack them away as they lifted up one of his windshield wipers and tucked the paper neatly under it. He was trying to be a better bot. If he kept causing issues, the Autobots might have second thoughts about giving him so much freedom. He remained tense as the human placed their hand on his hood.
“Don’t see many beauties like you around here.” They said under their breath. “Thanks for letting me draw you. Love the sticker thing.” Then, they patted his hood and walked away.
Knockout sat there for a moment stunned. First, yes, he was quite beautiful. More humans should be like this one and notice that. Second, they had spoken to him. Not at him. Not to some fake driver. Him. Third, they had touched him. Their grubby little human fingerprints were no doubt on his hood now. He was going to have to pull over and fix that before returning to base. Not to mention whatever it was that they stuck under his window wiper. It was terribly itchy.
Still, he watched them turn the corner down the street. He had many questions. Were any of them worth pursuing? The blinking missed message from Breakdown on his dash told him no.
“Stay out of trouble, Speedster.” The text read.
He turned on his engine then rolled out. He would stay out of trouble… for now.
Knockout pulled over at an abandoned gas station far outside the city. He ran a quick scan and found no incoming vehicles in the immediate proximity. He was far enough from the highway to be out of sight as long as he remained under the canopy. He took a ‘running’ start and flipped into robot mode inches before ducking under cover.
First thing first; he pulled the thin sheet from between his plating. It had ended up in his abdomen under his central chest plate but it was easy enough to remove. Really, it was remarkable the little thing didn’t tear.
He was about to toss it aside but a streak of cherry red caught his attention. On the paper was a loose render of his alt. mode. It looked like the concept cars he’d seen in automobile enthusiast magazines. Knockout stared at the little image for a long moment.
It was beautiful, in a sort of imperfect way. Even the stray lines worked in its favor.
Artistry was not foreign to him. While he didn’t exactly consider himself an artist, he knew artistry well. When someone is passionate about something, it shows in their work. Which is how his finish looked the way it looked; Breakdown was always incredibly meticulous and careful. This had a similar level of care.
Why would the human leave this for him?
He turned it over to the back and found a short message. “Love the paint job. - @ky-ltd.”
“Kai L-T-D?” He repeated aloud incredulously.
Was this some kind of bribe? If they knew he was sentient, then was this some passive way of sucking up to him? Was he that obvious?
He shook the thought away. Maybe it was something he could ask Fowler about at a later date. Though, the agent was skeptical, at best, of the former Decepticon. Who’s to say he would answer him honestly.
Next problem: the smudge on his now chest plate. It was extremely tiny. Barely visible. But ‘barely’ might not cut it. If the Autobots thought he’d been hanging out with a human, he’d never hear the end of it.
He chuckled to himself at the thought.
Humans were disgusting.
Knockout pulled a microfiber cloth from his glovebox, which was now a small compartment in his chest. The graphite smear came off with a single swipe.
“There.” He sighed as he tucked the cloth away. “It never happened.” He paused to look at the little piece of paper between his digits. “It never…” Before he completed his thought, he shoved the paper in his glove box and flipped into vehicle mode.

Description:
19 characters and 1 person from the real world were transported at the world filled with quirks, where here heroes, villains, and vigilante exist but before we get to the main story let's see how they got to this world.
Tumblr media
Castlevania
"It's your home. " Dracula said as the realization hit him. They were at the childhood room of his son and all of a sudden memories started to come back in Dracula's head.
"My boy. I'm- I...I'm killing my boy. " Dracula said. He went to the right where the portrait of him, his son, and his wife, they were a happy family once but the church ruined their happiness as they killed Lisa for being a witch, which was not true.
"Lisa, I'm killing our boy. We painted this room. We...made this toys. It's our boy, Lisa. " Dracula said. He look down to face his pale hands as he clench them. He could feel the regret and remorse started to crawl onto him.
"Your greatest gift to me...and I'm killing him. " Dracula said as he covered his face with his hands while Alucard approached his father with a stake in hand, he stopped when he got closer to his father.
Dracula raised his head as he faced his son with an emotionless expression on his face.
"I must already be dead. "
Alucard's eyes widened when he heard his father said those words. He close his eyes and he replaced his shock expression to a determined and serious expression. He went even closer to his father's chest and then stabbed him at the heart by the wooden stake.
Dracula felt the pain as the stake went deeper in his chest as blood began to come out of his mouth. He gasp as blood began to filling up at his mouth.
"S-Son. " Dracula manage to say those words.
"Father. " Alucard answered. He close his eyes tight as he pushes the stake even deeper. Dracula gasp as he look up, his face, his entire body began to decay while Dracula's heartbeat echo in the room.
Alucard was terrified when he comes face to face with his father's decaying body. Alucard backed away while Dracula walk towards his son.
In reality, Dracula wanted to hug his son before he died but unfortunately Trevor walked in and cut Dracula's head.
"Alucard. Step back. Let me finish this. " Sypha said. She began casting a fire spell in order to burn Dracula's body. While burning the body, they didn't know that a portal opened and Dracula's body was transported to another dimension, to another world.
Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters Predacons Rising
In Cybertron, a group if Cybertronian who they call themselves Autobots, were standing at the Well of Cybertron. There, the leader of the Autobots named Optimus Prime stood tall and mighty in front of his Autobots.
"In order to both protect the Allspark and secure Unicron's defeat it was necessary for me to empty the vessels contents. "Optimus explained to his fellow Autobots.
"Into where? " The then scout and now warrior named Bumblebee asked.
"The Matrix of Leadership as such my own spark can no longer be separated from the multitude of others within me. "
"Are you telling us that you are now one with the Allspark? " The medic of the group named Ratchet asked, shocked by this revelation.
"That's what you say someone kicks the... " The new member of the Autobots named Smokescreen trailed off when he came to the realization that Optimus is serious.
"Do not return the Allspark to the Well would be to prevent future generations of new life from existing on Cybertron, my quest must be completed. " Optimus explained it even further.
"Optimus, I didn't return to save a life. Only to lose the one I care most about. " Ratchet said. He was completely in disbelief. Bulkhead placed a hand on Ratchet's shoulder and said:
"Ratchet restored planets he'll find a way to save you. "
"We can return to Vector Sigma just like we did before. " The only femme Autobot named Arcee joined in.
"Because the Matrix must now be relinquished with the Allspark. It cannot be restored or passed down to another but while this may very well mark the end of the age of Primes. Leadership can be earned with or without the Matrix and in my view you have each acted as a Prime. "
"Well I never really had the best role models. " The former member of the Decepticon and now new member of the Autobots named Knockout said as he was flattered by Optimus' words.
"As even Megatron is demonstrated on this day, every sentient being possesses the capacity for change. " Optimus said as he look at the sun and then his jet packs. He turned to face his fellow Autobots, his family.
"I asked only this for you fellow Autobots, keep fighting the noblest of fights. "
"You can count on us to keep the peace. " Bumblebee reassured him.
Optimus turned away and flew in the sky and went inside of the Well. He opened his chest to reveal his Matrix of Leadership as he flew deeper in the Well. As Optimus flew closer and closer to the light he close his optics and accepted his destiny.
But little did he know that he is being transported to another dimension, to another world.
Steven Universe
It was a normal and shinning morning in Beach City. It's been a year since Steven left and the gems miss him dearly. Steven left Beach City to do a road trip but Steven send pictures and send it to his dad or video call his dad and talk about his road trip adventures.
As for the Crystal Gems, they were doing great. Amethyst is still playing Steven's old video games, Pearl uses Steven's ukelele as she practice, and Garnet is still writing on Steven's wedding plan notebook to plan Steven and Connie's wedding.
But this particular day, a gem has entered Beach City and her name is Spinel. Spinel is a gem that used to be Pink Diamond's, Steven's mom, playmate but after playing with her and gain a colony, Pink Diamond left Spinel by disguising a game for her, Spinel waited for her for thousand of years but Pink Diamond never return, it was only then that she realize that Pink Diamond was now that Steven replace her spot.
But things have changed, she made amends with Steven after almost killing him and Earth. But today, she went to beach City to relax and have fun with other crystal gems.
Spinel lays on the grassy ground at the hill top of Beach City. Her hands are behind her head with her eyes closed and a smile on her face. She's at peace.
"You seemed to like this spot. " Someone spoke making Spinel opened her eyes to find a Crystal Gem, it was Garnet.
"Hey Garnet. " Spinel greeted her as she sat up.
"How are things in Little Homeschool? " Spinel asked. Little Homeworld is a place on Earth where Gems from all over the universe can come learn how to live together peacefully.
"The other gems were doing good. Their skills and abilities were improving. " Garnet answered. She sat down right next to Spinel and admire the sunny and windy.
"How are things in Homeworld? " Garnet asked.
"Homeworld has changed. " Spinel answered, looking down with a smile across her face. "Gems can finally fuse to different gems. yellow Diamond is a reconstructing gems that she hurt thousand years ago, Blue Diamond is still giving joy to other gems who were down using her clouds, and White Diamond let gems control her to find their self-worth. " Spinel explained.
They both sat down together in silence, admiring the scenery but there peaceful moment is interrupted when clouds suddenly covered the sun and thunder can be heard.
"Huh? Where did the sun go? " Spinel asked, looking up to find the clouds completely as if no lights were there, not even one light.
"The weather news didn't mentioned cloudy in the forecast. " Garnet said.
"Garnet, mind if you use your future vision? " Spinel asked. Garnet adjusted her tinted shades to see the future. Spinel watched as Garnet's expression darkened.
"Garnet? "
"I...I... " Garnet tried to process her words. Trying to gather her words to what she saw but suddenly a loud thunder can be heard causing Spinel got scared and hug Garnet very tight.
"What was that? " Spinel asked.
"It's not a storm. " Garnet said, concluding to what she saw to her future vision.
"Then what is it? " Spinel asked. Before Garnet could open her mouth they heard a scream coming from Little Homeschool.
Garnet and Spinel looked at each other with worry and then they started running at Little Homeschool to investigate what just happened.
At Little Homeschool, everyone was panicking and there are gems who were helping people and gems.
"Pearl! " Garnet yelled. Pearl, who is helping the other gems and civilian, turned around to find Garnet and Spinel.
"Garnet, Spinel, thank the Stars you two have arrived. " Pearl said as she let out a sigh of relief that her fellow Crystal Gem is here.
"Pearl, what happened? " Spinel asked but she let out a gasp when she saw the Warp Pad and in the middle of the Warp Pad had a portal causing a strong wind. The portal was glowing teal, magenta, crimson, and green.
"What is that? " Spinel asked, pointing at the portal that was in the middle of the Warp Pad.
"A thunder strike at the Warp Pad and all of a sudden this portal just appeared. " Pearl explained. Garnet placed a hand on Pearl.
"Pearl, I need to tell you something importa- "
"AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! " Spinel screamed at the top of her lungs.
"SPINEL! " Garnet yelled out as she went to Spinel, who is being dragged at the portal like a magnet, Garnet got her hand who is stretching like a elastic rubbed band. Half of Spinel's body is at the portal but Garnet suddenly felt a magnetic force that was also pulling her at the portal.
Pearl notice this and try to grab Garnet's hand but it's too late. Both Garnet and Spinel went through the portal bringing them to another dimension, to another world.
Persona 5: Strikers
Kyoto, Japan. Kyoto was known as Japan's third largest city and also one its oldest. It was originally founded as Heian in 794, and had it's older age during the count's heyday from 794-1185. It is also a home for 17 UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites and over 2,000 temples and shrines. It was a peaceful city but it will soon be interrupted by worry and confusion.
"Zenkichi, where are you right now? " The woman by the name Miyako Kuburagi, the commissioner in the Public Security Police and Zenkichi's boss.
Zenkichi Hasegawa is an inspector and law enforcer in Kyoto Prefectural Police and the Public Security Intelligence Agency.
They received a call from an employee from TechMeds about suspicions at the company. TechMeds is a company that has so many controversies since 2019. Zenkichi tried to investigate the company but to no avail, that's why receiving a call about the company's suspicious activity caught them in surprise.
"I'm on my way to the company. " Zenkichi answered. He was driving his car to the TechMeds. Zenkichi hold the steering wheel very tightly as he felt somethin was up when his boss received the call from the employee. Could this be a trap? Is this a set up? Is this true, that the employee at TechMeds is exposing the very company that they are working?
"Only one way to find out. " Zenkichi muttered as he drives into the road late at night.
Zenkichi arrived at the company to find many police cars already parked outside of the company. Zenkichi could see police officers were blocking everyone, preventing them from entering the company.
Zenkichi parked the car right next to one of the police cars. He turned the car off and exit the car, he then went straight to the company, one of the officers recognize him and gave him access to enter the building.
When Zenkichi entered the building, he felt eyes were on him. He look around to find police officers were questioning employees of the company.
"Officer Hasegawa. " One of the police officers called him. Zenkichi turned his attention to the police officer.
"Yes? " Zenkichi asked.
"Ms. Kuburagi told me that once you entered here I have to guide you to her. "
"Okay, lead the way. " Zenkichi said. The police officers nodded their head and began taking the lead while Zenkichi followed the officer to where Ms. Kuburagi is.
Ms. Kuburagi and the rest of the officers were at the top building, the employee showed the room and they were shock to learn that it was all true.
For 5 years, there have been theories that TechMeds been trying to play with God by opening up a portal to reach to another dimension, to reach to another world. That's only a crazy theory by people who were just making fun of the company but now...now it hit different.
"Ma'am, Inspector Hasegawa has arrived. " The officer remind Mr. Kuburagi. She then nodded her head, Zenkichi entered the room and was shocked to find a huge portal model stationed in the middle of the room.
"That's the same reaction when I stepped in the room. " Ms. Kuburagi said, noticing the shock expression on Zenkichi's face.
"So, the kid's in the internet that were spreading about a portal that can lead to another world is true, huh. " Zenkichi said, standing right next to Ms. Kuburagi, looking at the large portal.
"How did they construct this? " Zenkichi asked. He noticed some strange symbols on the wall. Zenkichi concluded that these symbols are useful for the portal.
"Don't know. " Ms. Kuburagi shrugged.
"Where's the employee who made the call? " Zenkichi asked.
"He's at the police car. " Ms. Kuburagi answered. "Do you want to interrogate him? " Ms. Kuburagi asked.
"Yeah. "
"Go ahead. " Ms. Kuburagi let him go. Zenkichi turned around to exit the room when the doors suddenly closed tight, leaving Zenkichi, Ms. Kuburagi, and other police officers in the room.
"What the? " Zenkichi asked. Ms. Kuburagi and the other police officers stopped whatever they are doing.
"What's going on? " One of the police officers asked.
"It's a trap! " Zenkichi yelled out. Zenkichi and the others tried to contact the other police officers but their walkie talkie was jammed. Zenkichi is right, it's a trap. Before Zenkichi could open his mouth, a voice spoke in the intercom.

Slenderman's hand stared at his hand. He was just placing books back at the bookshelf when he suddenly felt something that he has no idea, he looked at the window to find that the wind grew louder and stronger and he could see clouds started to cover the sun. But that unimaginable feeling that he felt was still there and he couldn't help but feel concerned about this.
Slenderman exit his office and went downstairs of the mansion to check up on his fellow colleagues.
"Gee, didn't realize that there could be a storm coming. " Ben Drowned said, looking at the window.
"Did the weather lady said anything about this? " Sally asked.
"Nope. " Ben Drowned answered.
"Probably just cloudy today. " Jane commented. Sally looked at the hallway to find Slenderman, walking down the hall Sally smiled as she started running towards Slenderman and hugged his leg.
"Hello Sally. " Slenderman spoke, patting her head. Sally giggled at him patting her head.
"Where ae the others? " Slenderman asked, looking at Jane and Ben Drowned.
"The others are outside and as usual they are out there hunting. " Ben Drowned answered, jerking his thumb at the window.
"Why do you ask? " Jane asked.
"I want them to come back here and stay here. " Slenderman ordered. Ben Drowned, Jane, and Sally were surprise to hear this order.
"Y-You serious? " Ben Drowned asked.
"Yes, I'm serious. " Slenderman answered. He then started to walk. Sally, Ben Drowned, and Jane followed Slenderman, the three of them were confused as they all know that Slenderman just let his creepies run around town and kill people but as long as they don't get caught but hearing him to take the others back to the mansion was really surprising to them.
"Sally, I need you to stay here. Jane, I need you to tell the others here in the mansion to stay here. Ben and I will get others here back to the mansion. "
"Okay, can we ask why? " Jane asked. Slenderman stopped at his tracks. They were at the stairs and just one more step they are now in the main entrance of the mansion, Slenderman turned around to face the three people who were following him. Slenderman was about to answer Jane's question but it was soon when they heard a loud thunder.
The loud thunder strikes the middle of the entrance causing the four of them covered their eyes from the brightness of the thunder strike. The sound of the thunder left their ears ringing and the brightness of the thunder almost left them blind.
Slenderman gripped the sides of his head. The ringing kept on like forever but thankfully it went away that made me let out a sigh of relief.
"What the fuck is that!? " Toby asked, who was at the kitchen when he heard the loud thunder, he just got out of the kitchen and found something that shocks him. When Slenderman heard Toby's voice he turned to find a portal in the middle of the room.
"What the- when did that portal appeared? " Ben Drowned asked, freaking out. Slenderman suddenly gets it, the feeling he felt back at his office is the same feeling at the portal.
"What the fuck is going on? " Masky asked, coming downstairs and saw the portal.
"What do we do? " Toby asked.
"I don't know. " Jane answered.
"Slendy, what do we do? " Sally asked. All eyes were now on Slenderman, their leader, waiting for his order. before Slenderman could say anything he felt a magnetic force that started to pull him straight to the portal.
Slenderman released his black tentacles as it grabbed on the staircase and at the wall to prevent him from getting into the portal.
"Slendy! " Sally yelled as she ran towards and help him. Slenderman tried to stay still and stay to his feet, he felt himself like he was about to get lift up to his feet. But little did he know that one by one his tentacles let go at the walls and at the staircase.
When the last of the tentacles let go he was immediately went straight to the portal but lucky for him, he felt a tug to find Sally, Ben Drowned, Jane, Toby, Masky, and his other colleagues who got out of their room and helped their leader to prevent him to get him to the portal. This is the perfect opportunity for Slenderman to release his tentacles once again and land it on the floor to stay still.
"Hold on Slendy. " Sally reassured him. Slenderman could feel his colleagues' hands slipping but he held them tight but unfortunately he had little strength as his entire body is getting closer to the portal.
"Slendy! " Sally cried out as her hand slipped, letting Slenderman go. They watched in horror as Slenderman got into the portal and once he is in the portal, the portal disappeared leaving everyone in silence with shock on their faces.
They were frozen in place for like hours until the door opened to reveal Jeff, Hoodie, Laughing Jack, Lulu, and Puppeteer, who were back from their hunt.
Upon arriving the mansion, they were stopped when they saw others frozen in shock.
"What? " Jeff asked, wiping the blood off of his knife.
"What happened? " Laughing Jack asked, unwrapping a candy.
"Masky, Toby, where's Slender? " Hoodie asked his two proxy mates. But little did they know that Slenderman was transported to another dimension, to another world.

Author's Note: If you guys are curious as to what is Starlight Express is, you could search in the internet.
In Apollo Victoria, a brand new race has begun. Trains cheered for the Nationals, who will be competing in the race.
"Control! Control! Race time minus 1 minute, race time minus 1 minute! " Control, the announcer of the race, announced.
Rusty, a steam engine is also competing at the race, he is the champion train in the previous race and he is glad to be on the race. Originally, Dustin the Big Hopper is going to be his coach on the race but unfortunately Dustin got sick. The Freights were busy and Pearl, his lover got to be Turnov, the Russian train to be his coach. Rusty has no choice but coupled with C.B, the Red Caboose.
C.B was known as a train wrecker, who wrecks train during race, similar to murder but other than that C.B was known as a menace and a murderer but after the previous race that leave him injured, the two of them reconcile.
So, the news about Rusty's coach is C.B cause a bit of discourse in the racers. But C.B promise that he won't kill Rusty during the race.
Now, in the race, they were in line as the race is about to start.
"On Track One - the Diesel Train - Greaseball the Diesel with Dinah the Dining Car. " Control introduce the first racer. In case you didn't know, every time there's a race, racers must have a coach in the back like a partner, if you don't, then you will not be joining the race or disqualified in the race.
"Champion over here. " Greasseball said to the crowd with Dinah waving at the crowd causing trains to cheer for them.
"On Track Two - Turnov the Russian Engine with Pearl the First Class Carriage. " Control announced the second racer.
"Nostrovya - here's to Mother Russia. " Turnov said to the crowd.
"On Track Three - Electra the Engine of the Future with Duvay the Sleeping Car. " Control announced the third racer.
"Electricity is taking charge. " Electra said. While the crowd is going crazy, Rusty and C.B are the only one that wasn't announced. While waiting, Rusty spoke:
"C.B, do me a favor. "
"What is it? " C.B asked.
"Don't crash. " Rusty said, referring back to the previous race where C.B betrayed him driving the race. C.B suddenly felt guilty just remembering that memory. Even though C.B has changed his way there are trains that doesn't believe that he had change his way and C.B wouldn't be surprise to find Rusty having a trust issue.
"Don't worry, Rusty. I won't do it again. " C.B answered. With a gentle and sincere voice and a sweet smile made Rusty believe his words.
"On Track Four - Rusty the Steamer with the Red Caboose. " Control announced the fourth racer. Rusty and C.B stakes out of the shadow and upon seeing them, the crowd goes crazy seeing Rusty.
"Who's ready for steam! " Rusty yelled and that made the crowd wild even more while C.B salutes at the crowd.
"Trains to your tracks. " Control told the racers. The siren went on as the racers went to there tracks. Greaseball, Turnov, Electra, and Rusty wear there helmets even the coaches wear their racer helmets except for C.B.
You see, race helmet is very expensive to purchase so C.B uses his red neckerchief to cover his mouth to protect half of his face.
"10... " Control started the countdown. The coaches including C.B started to coupled at the back of the racers.
"9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1! Race time! " Control yelled and the race started.
Greaseball and Dinah were at first, Turnov and Pearl were at second, Electra and Duvay were at third, and Rusty and C.B were at fourth. Rusty tried to sneak behind but he was blocked thanks to Electra and Turnov's tall bodies.
"Rusty, over there. " C.B whispered at Rusty's ear as he points a space perfect for the two of them to sneak.
"Thanks, C.B. " Rusty whispered back. Rusty move to the track at the right while C.B keeps a close eye on the three racers as their objective to get at front without noticing them.
And then, to the surprise of the racers they found Rusty and C.B were at first. Rusty and C.B laugh as they speed to the next location of the race. While racing on the track, they suddenly heard thunder coming from far, bringing Rusty and C.B's attention.
"Is there a storm coming? " C.B asked, looking at the cloudy sky.
"S-Should we head back? " Rusty asked, sounding so scared. C.B, Poppa, and the rest of the Freights completely knew that Rusty has a fear of thunder and sometimes loud noises.
"Control hasn't announce to return so we have no choice but to continue the race. " C.B said and this made Rusty scared even more and C.B is aware about this.
"Don't worry, we'll race with caution. " C.B reassures him with a gentle pat on the shoulder. Rusty nodded his head as they continued on the race.
Rusty focused on the race while C.B keeps an eye out of any lightning strikes. C.B believes that a lightning can kill any trains with one strike it can already kill a train. C.B has a bad feeling about this.
'At this state of the weather, Control should stop the race.' C.B thought. They continued on the race as the two of them were still in first. At the track, they saw a bridge.
"We're almost there. " Rusty said. C.B squinted his eyes and Rusty is right, they are almost there. Just passing at the bridge and now they can finish the race, they can hear the other three racers speeding their way up to first.
"Come on, Rusty. Let's end this ra- " C.B was cut short when a lightning strike at the bridge that they are in.
"C.B! " Rusty called out his name as his eyes widened to watch his friend fall down the bridge.
"Oh my Starlight. " Dinah was shock upon seeing the lightning strike that has struck at the bridge.
"Electra, was that you? " Turnov asked as he and all of the racers are aware that Electra would use their electricity to shoot down other racers in order to slow them down.
"It wasn't me. " Electra answered, honestly.
"Dinah, call the Marshals. " Greaseball ordered. Dinah did what Greaseball told her.
"Wait, I see someone. " Turnov said, pointing at the now broken bridge to find a figure at the bridge. Pearl gasp.
"It's Rusty! " Pearl shouted.
"We have to help him. " Duvay said.
"We're on it. " Electra, Greaseball, and Turnov said in unison as they sped up straight to the broken bridge.
Turnov quickly uncoupled Pearl so that way she can help her lover.
"Rusty! Are you okay? " Pearl asked. Rusty was found sitting on his knees, he wasn't wearing his helmet as the helmet is sitting right beside him.
"Rusty! " Greaseball and the others came rushing towards him.
"Rusty? " Pearl asked, Rusty wasn't responding. When she got in front of him. All she could see is a shock and teared eyed Rusty with his left hand covered his mouth.
"Oh Starlight, C.B. " Rusty said and that made everyone realize that C.B fall.
When the lightning struck the bridge, it's a good thing that C.B has fast reflexes because when it struck the bridge with them in it, he immediately throw Rusty away from him in order to get him away from danger. But unfortunately, before he could even run away from the bridge, the bridge collapse.
C.B falls down deeper but C.B is ready for the impact on his fall but he was shocked when a portal appeared and next thing he saw was darkness as the portal took him to another dimension, to another world.

They continued to walk and they can tell that they are getting closer at their friends as they could hear murmuring and whispering. When they got there, they could see their friends in a table filled with food and...gifts? Cream gasp as she realize that it isn't a picnic but rather-

It was Cream's 7th birthday. How could she forgot it? Cream's jaw dropped and Shadow can't help but chuckle at her reaction.
"You seemed surprise. "
"I didn't know that today is my birthday. " Cream replied.
"That's because, I didn't remind you that today is your birthday. " Someone spoke. It was Vanilla, Cream's mother. Cream came running towards her mother and gave her a hug.
"Happy birthday, sweetie. " Vanilla said to her daughter and then she gave her a kiss on the forehead. She then look at Shadow.

Most of the day, they eat, they play, and they have fun. All was going great until the sky began to darken.
"Oh dear, seems a storm is coming. " Rogue said, upon noticing the sky. The others looked up as well when Rogue said that.
"Aww... " Both Amy and Cream said as they knew that the fun is over. But Sonic pats Cream's head which makes Cream look up at him.
"Hey don't be sad, kiddo. Why don't we go to your house and play some video games. " Sonic reassured her. This brought the smile back on Cream's face.
"Yay! " Cream cheered, jumping up and down in excitement.
"Well that settles it, to Cream house. " Sonic said as he pointed at her house that was located outskirts of the city. They were about to gathered there things when they suddenly heard a thunder strike. Cream was so scared that she hugged her mother while the others covered there eyes and ears due to the loud sound of the thunder and the brightness of the thunder strike.
"The heck was that? " Sonic asked. They were all confused and concern. They all know that this not any regular storm.
"I have a bad feeling about this. " Shadow muttered quietly. To make it worse, they could hear screams from people at the city.
"We need to help the people at the city. " Amy said.
"Tails, Amy, take Cream and Vanilla back to their house. " Shadow ordered Tails and Amy.
"What about you guys? " Tails asked.
"Me, Sonic, Knuckles, and Rogue will investigate. " Shadow answered. The others have no choice but to stick with Shadow's plan. While Tails and Amy are taking Cream and Vanilla back to their house while Shadow, Sonic, Knuckles, and Rogue speed up at the city to investigate what is happening.
They arrived at the scene where they saw people screaming and pointing at the sky. They all look up to find a line in the sky.
"Seriously? Is this what they are screaming about? " Sonic asked in disbelief
"But why are they're screaming about a blue line? " Knuckles asked. Shadow squinted his eyes at the blue line at the sky but his eyes widened when the blue line suddenly opened like an eye just opened. Once it opened it revealed to be a portal.
"Oh. " That was all Sonic could say as he regret saying those words from earlier.
"A portal? " Rogue asked.
"Do you think Dr. Robotnick is doing this? " Knuckles asked. Shadow looked away as he noticed that there parts of the building are about to collapse due to the portal.
"Let's not waste anymore time. We need to get this people to safety. " Shadow instructed them. The three of them agreed as they began taking people to safety.
They decided to get the civilians to the hilltop where they have their birthday party with Cream from earlier. Tails and Amy successfully take Cream and Vanilla back to their house and joined in on saving the civilians.
While helping the civilians they saw the pieces of the building began to float in the air and went straight to the portal. Sonic and the others are careful as not just debris but also light poles and cars were going to the portal.
Shadow went back to the city after saving a teacher and three elementary students, he continued to save people.
"Oh my God, what is that!? " One of the civilians screamed, pointing at the portal.
Shadow look up and was shocked to find a white hands started to appear out of the portal. They watched as the white hands started to smash the buildings.
"We need to get this people out of the city! " Sonic shouting in the distance. Shadow didn't waste anymore time as he grabbed the two orphaned kids and went to the hill top where there are already people then he returned to the city to save more people.
Sonic and his friends were cautious on the white hands kept on appearing out of the portal.
"How many hands are there? " Amy couldn't help but asked.
"I don't know. " Sonic answered.
"I've never seen this kind of portal before. " Tails commented, looking up and stare at the portal.
"Do you think this is Dr. Robotnick's doing? " Amy asked.
"Tch, obviously. " Sonic answered. Sonic and Dr. Robotnick were archnemesis, the others knows that. They couldn't help but not surprise to see if it was Dr. Robotnick's doing.
Shadow is getting sick and tired of Dr. Robotnick's scheme. When will he give up and accept defeat?
"Amy! Watch out! " Shadow shouted as he notice one of the white hands is reaching at Amy. Before Amy turned around. Shadow uses his speed to shove Amy away causing Shadow to be grabbed by the white hands.
"Shadow! " Amy shouted his name causing Sonic and the others to turn around and found Shadow being held in one of the white hands.
"Don't worry, Shadow. I'll save you. " Amy said as she grabbed her big hammer. Amy was about to hit the hand but was blocked by another white hand and hit Amy, sending her flying and hit at the ground.
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Rogue did the same thing. They dodge every single hand but when they got close, they ended up getting hit and send flying.

Sally got concerned for her husband about this and tried to call him.
"Jack! " Sally's voice finally brought Jack back to reality to find his wife standing right in front of him which surprises him as he could have sworn that he saw his wife sitting at the chair but now she is in front of him.
"What is it, darling? " Jack asked, sounded concerned.
"You seemed to be spaced out, you just stopped mid sentence. " Sally answered. That's right, he stopped when he felt something.
"I felt something. " Jack said as he look at the window. He knew that it's outside.
"Felt what? " Sally asked, standing right next to him at the window.
"A disturbance. " Jack answered. "It must be in the Holiday Doors, come with me. " Jack said and they both exit the house.

"Jack, what do you mean by 'disturbance'? " Sally asked, getting concerned and scared.
"I sense something at the Holiday doors. "
"You mean all of the Holiday doors? "
"Yes and I'm not liking this disturbance one bit. " Jack said, expressing some doubts.
"The we must hurry. " Sally said, holding his hand.
"Right. " Jack replied as his grip tightened at Sally's hand.
The two lovers went out of Halloween Town and then they went to the forest where all of the Holiday Doors were located. With each stepped they took, Jack grows anxious and serious as this 'disturbance' grows stronger and stronger. Jack readied his Soul Robber just in case if an entity attacks him and Sally.
As for Sally, she was confused, concerned, and scared. She hasn't received any visions for a longest time, seeing caught her off guard but she is mostly worried for Jack, who kept a serious face along the way.

All of them were glowing which left the couple stunned but that's not all. In the middle of the Holiday Doors there stood a brand new door.
The door kept changing it's symbol, symbols that both of them don't quite understood. Jack was about to approach this mysterious door but he was stopped by Sally, who is not liking this feeling.
"Don't worry, whatever happens to you, I will protect you. " Jack reassured her with a smile and a kiss of her hand.
Jack let go of Sally's hand and then began approaching the mysterious door. The symbols kept on changing within seconds, Jack was confused and curious at this door.
Jack carefully twist the doorknob and opened and it revealed was shocking to Jack and Sally.
You see, if you opened the door to one of the holidays you will meet a complete darkness but the winds of the holidays will be dragging you inside the door until you are fully inside of the door but...this one is different.
What Jack saw is not a complete dark hole but rather a mixing of teal, green, and magenta swirling at the door. Jack had never seen this door before but whatever it is, it's not good.
"Sally, I think we should- " Jack was interrupted when a couple of white hands grabbed him. This caught Sally's attention as she ran up to help her husband but another white hand appeared and slam her causing her to hit the tree.
"Sally! " Jack yelled out as he was pulled inside of this door.
Sally got up and tried to run up the door to help Jack but it was too late, the door closed before Sally could her hands on the inside of the door. Sally tried to twist the doorknob but the door wouldn't open, she tried banging the door but to no avail.
"JACK! " Sally shouted. But to what Sally thought that the door brought Jack to the holiday but rather to another dimension, to another world.

They were in the Fazer Blast, Gregory came running to the stairs while Glamrock Freddy is down there defending Gregory from the S.T.A.F.F bots that were controlled by Vanny, a rabbit suit person who is hunting down Gregory.
"Good, I still have a signal. Get to the Fazer Blast booth. Use the security desk. Turn them against Vanny. " Glamrock Freddy instructed him. Gregory run as fast as he could to the security desk. When he got there, he was greeted a bed, a purple spray paint that says: VANNY, an arcade, and a desk with a Freddy Fazbear head button tablet.
"This is it. " Gregory said. he approached the desk and grabbed the tablet.
"There you are. " Gregory turned around to find that it was Vanny. The bunny was getting closer as she giggles, Gregory's eyes widened as his tears run out of his eyes.
Gregory quickly grabbed the tablet at the desk as he backed away from Vanny. He was terrified to see Vanny up close. Vanny was about to grab Gregory when Gregory yelled out:
"Disassemble Vanny! " Gregory yelled and after he said that, Gregory pressed the Freddy Fazbear head on the tablet and just like that all of the S.T.A.F.F bots went against Vanny as all of them went to Vanny and just like what Gregory said: Disassemble Vanny.
Gregory didn't stay long as he was terrified to see the S.T.A.F.F bots literally disassemble Vanny.
Gregory began to run straight down of the Fazer Blast.
"Freddy! " Gregory yelled out his friend's name as he went downstairs. When he got there he was shocked to find Glamrock Freddy at the floor already dismantled.
"Gre...gory. " Freddy called him, his voice was glitchy but Gregory understands what he is saying.
"Don't worry, Freddy. I'm here. " Gregory reassured his friend as he got closer to him and lay down beside him. Gregory wiped his tears but the more tears he wipe away, the more tears fell at his eyes.
"Gregory. " Freddy called his name.
"Y-Yeah? " Gregory asked. He got closer to Freddy to hear what he is going to say.
"You are my superstar. " Freddy said. He lift his hand and rubbed Gregory's hair and with that Freddy shut down. Gregory stand up and began running as he hears employees of the Pizzaplex are approaching, leaving Freddy alone and destroyed but that's not how Freddy's story end.

"We need to get this munchkins to safety. " Scarecrow ordered.
"Okay, is it okay if we take them to the Emerald City? " Lion asked.
"Of course. " Scarecrow answered. Emerald City is not so far from Munchkin Country, Scarecrow knows that and Scarecrow is happy to agree on Lion's request.
The trio split up as they went up and help the fellow munchkins. But before they could even help the munchkins. But before they could even help them munchkins several white hands appeared out of the portal causing shock at the trio's face.
"What is that!? " Tin Man exclaimed. One of the hands went to a female munchkin but luckily for her Scarecrow was there to notice it quickly. Scarecrow quickly run towards at the white hands that was about to grab the female munchkin as he pulled out his staff.
"Lava Scythe! " Scarecrow summoned his spell. His staff quickly transformed a scythe and immediately cut the white hand in half before it could land a finger on the munchkin.
"T-Thank you, your majesty. " The female munchkin thanked him. Scarecrow nodded his head and helped the munchkin get back to her feet.
"Go to the Emerald City right now. " Scarecrow ordered her. She nodded her head and began running away, Scarecrow can't help but feel relief at this. Scarecrow planned that-
"Scarecrow! Watch out! " Tin Man yelled out causing him to snap out of his thoughts and turned around to attack but it was too late, the white hand grab him and began to drag him to the portal.
"Straw man! "
"Scarecrow! " Both Lion and Tin Man stopped what they were doing and went to their friend to save him.
Scarecrow extended his hand as he was being dragged to the portal. He tried to break free from the white hand or even using his staff to summon spells but he couldn't summon even one.
"Nick! Lion! " Scarecrow yelled their names as he could feel the portal getting closer. Tin Man jumped and grabbed Scarecrow's hand followed by Lion, who grabbed Tin Man's hand as well.
"Don't worry, Scarecrow. "
"Just hang on, Straw Man. "
"G-Guys... " Scarecrow said but their hands slipped making Scarecrow instantly got inside of the portal. Tin Man is about to hop into the portal but the portal quickly close before his hand could touch the portal.

The Real World
It is Friday, May 24, 2024 in the country called The Philippines. It is 5:01 PM, the students of Grade 10 just finished their rehersals for their graduation that is coming up in May 28, 2024.
A student by the name of Beatrice Emerald Delos Angeles, who is a student in Light Heart Memorial School. She just turned 17 years old just last week.
Beatrice has long black hair, black eyeglasses, and she wears the LHMS uniform. Beatrice was known as the quiet kid of the school but she has a friend named Nicole, who spends her time during break time but unfortunately they are in different class section and thanks to their school activities they never had a proper conversation.
"Beatrice. " Someone called her name.
"Yes? " She asked and found that it was her Math teacher, Ms. Cecilia and the advisor of 10- Benevolence.
"Could you call Thomas for me? " Ms. Cecilia ordered.
"S-Sure but where is he? " Beatrice asked. Ms. Cecilia points at the second floor. Beatrice found that the classroom's lights were on and it was the only classroom that the lights were on while the other classrooms lights were off.
"Okay, I'll go get him. " Beatrice said as she walk inside of the school to get Thomas.
Beatrice went upstairs but as she takes every step she could hear voices coming from the classroom that Ms. Cecilia pointed at.
"What the? " Beatrice muttered. The voices were like chants or a choir. Beatrice has a bad feeling about this. As she got closer to the classroom she could see different colors coming from the window, she could see green, teal, and magenta switching colors, it was on repeat and every time Beatrice took a step she could feel sick or experience nausea.
When she got front of the classroom. She waited for the chant/choir stopped singing as she doesn't want to interrupted them. Unfortunately, the windows were covered with the curtains so Beatrice couldn't see anything inside of the classroom.
When the singing stopped it was her cue for her to knock on the door but her heart is beating and she has no idea, maybe she is nervous. She knock on the door and waited, for about seconds the door opened to reveal Thomas.
"Ah, Beatrice, what a pleasant surprise. " Thomas said as he opened the door wide.
Thomas was known as a lunatic around school it got to the point that the Principal threatened to expelled him if he ever display a misbehavior and since then teachers and staff kept there eyes on him.
Oddly enough, throughout the school year, Thomas was interested about Beatrice.
Beatrice look behind Thomas to find other students. Most students are unfamiliar to her but she recognize them because she could see them during break time.
"H-Hey Thomas, Ms. Cecilia calls you outside. " Beatrice said, she almost stutters but she kept herself calm and kept herself composed but deep down she has a bad feeling about this.
"Ah yea, I should apologize for Ms. Cecilia fir slacking off. " Thomas said. He then turned around to face his friends. "Come on guys. " Thomas said.
Beatrice backed away as Thomas and his friends exit the empty classroom. Beatrice notice that one of the female student had a book and give it to Thomas.
Suddenly, Beatrice gasp when she heard a thunder in the sky. Beatrice look outside to find that it was already cloudy, it looks like it's going to rain.
"It's going to rain. Let's go help our fellow classmates. " Thomas said, putting a hand on Beatrice's shoulder she felt a cold chill that send shivers down to her spine but she was calm and followed Thomas and his friends.
Beatrice walk right next to Thomas but while walking she get a closer look on the book that Thomas is holding. The book was leather brown, it had an eye on the cover with the eye color blue, it has a gold needle in the middle of the book, and it had this black leather locks preventing anyone to open the book.
'It looks like a tome. ' Beatrice thought. They finally made it out of the school and now they are in the quadrangle where every single students helping each other stacking the monoblock chair while the staff is returning the chairs at the School Hall.
"Beatrice! " Someone called her name. She searched around to find that voice until she notice a hand wave, it was Nicole. Beatrice wave her hand back at her friend.
"Beatrice, help me out over here. " Nicole called out. Beatrice began to depart from Thomas' friend group as she began to approach her best friend.
Beatrice was at the middle, she was getting closer to her friend when suddenly a thunder strike down in the middle of the quadrangle, Beatrice fell to the floor due to the impact. She was almost struck by lightning.
Her ears ringing, she couldn't hear anything except the ringing, she manages to get up, to get herself up to her feet. Her hearing is back and all she could hear screams, she look around to find people were running away and screaming even teachers and staff were terrified.
Beatrice looked up front and her eyes widened to find a portal right in front of her. Suddenly, it all make sense now, the choir like chant, the color changing light at the classroom, and the cloudy and rumbling thunder, the dots are now connecting.
'I need to get out of here. ' Beatrice thought. She turned around and was surprise to find Thomas standing right in front of her and then everything went slow motion. Thomas pushed her making her entered the portal.
The last thing she saw is Thomas with an emotionless smile and everything turned black but little did she know that she is about to be brought a dimension, a world that she is familiar.

The Last Prime
Hold on to your hubcaps; this is a long one, as it covers the whole of "Predacons Rising". (I'm willing to repost it as shorter chunks, if that's more to everyone's liking. It's also on AO3 here.)
As usual, inspiration credits to @justawannabearchaeologist's "TFP Wheeljack in TFA" series. For the ending, I am also indebted to @novafire-is-thinking's ongoing analysis series "Who is TFP Optimus?" Both are highly recommended.
Here goes...
---
“We have endured many hardships and countless battles,” Optimus Prime declaimed, “but at last our home planet has been restored. We would not be standing on Cybertronian soil were it not for the valiant efforts of both those assembled here – including one from far away,” his optics rested on Glitch, who blushed and dropped her gaze to the ground; she hadn’t really done all that much, and certainly no more than her duty demanded, “and our absent comrades. Ratchet, who remains on Earth to safeguard our human friends,” Arcee laid a sisterly servo on Glitch’s shoulder, aware that the young medibot missed her friend and colleague, and was more than a little daunted by the prospect of filling his role, “and Cliffjumper, who made the ultimate sacrifice.” It was Glitch’s turn to put a discreet arm around ‘Cee, Cliffjumper’s partner. She knew his death had inflicted a wound on her comrade that would never fully heal.
“But on this day,” Prime continued, “at the dawn of a new era, we gather to bestow a special honour, one earned by Bumblebee through his bravery and devotion to the cause of peace, long before he rid the universe of the scourge of the Decepticon warmonger.” We hope, Glitch caught herself thinking. Megatrons, in her experience, were pretty hard to kill. “In the company of your fellow Autobots, in the presence of our creator Primus, the living core of our planet, and by the authority vested in me by the Matrix of Leadership,” Prime raised the Star Sabre, a relic of the ancient Primes Glitch had nicknamed Andúril, “Bumblebee,” Andúril touched Bumblebee’s left shoulder, then his right, as he knelt before his leader, “arise, a Warrior.”
As Bumblebee stood up, the rest of the team clustered around to congratulate him, even Glitch, though she was still a bit hazy on why the ceremony was such a big deal – or necessary at all. But then, her Cybertron had been officially at peace since before she came online – helium, before her CO came online – and its class system wasn’t as rigidly defined as that one had been before the Autobot-Decepticon war. While Elite Guard positions were very much sought-after by a lot of young ‘bots, they were, theoretically, open to anybot. And she’d never wanted one. She was more than happy to be a field-tech, a healer and protector, not a destroyer.
Unlike, say, Wheeljack. “Let’s get this party started!” The Wrecker lived up to his unit’s name, triggering explosives he must have planted beforehand in a statue of Megatron. Glitch had to admit to a certain satisfaction as the stone warlord was deconstructed joint by joint, but did Wheeljack have to make such a mess of everything?
Prime allowed them a few cycles of jubilation before speaking again. “I am sorry to interrupt your celebration.”
“Here it comes,” ‘Cee remarked.
“Primes never party,” Bulkhead added.
“You might be surprised,” Glitch murmured, thinking of another red and blue mech, who had a hidden talent for the guitar.
“But I must take my leave of you,” Prime carried on. So soon? Prime had fought at least as long and hard as anybot there, and more so than most. He deserved to enjoy some peace, at least for a while.
“Sir, may I ask why?” Ultra Magnus enquired.
“Though Cybertron is once again able to support life,” Prime began, “our planet is currently incapable of generating new lives.”
“Let me guess,” Glitch interrupted him. “We need the Allspark. I wondered when that box of tricks would enter the picture. And it’s probably safely out in deep space, where almost nobody can find it.”
“That is correct.” Prime wasn’t as surprised that she’d second-guessed him as might be expected. He knew how similar their realities were, in some ways. “I assume yours was hidden for the same reason.”
She hummed in assent. “Cooled the war down a treat, especially when Megatron buzzed off to look for it. And before anyone asks, we post-war ‘bots received our sparks from Vector Sigma.” She was aware that the ancient computer had a counterpart in that reality, but clearly it didn’t have that particular functionality. More’s the pity.
Bumblebee was all for retrieving the Allspark as a whole team, but Prime pointed out that they couldn’t leave Cybertron vulnerable to Decepticon remnants. He assigned Ultra Magnus to organise patrols and hunt down Starscream and Shockwave, and Bulkhead to start the rebuilding of the wrecked planet, prioritising a landing field for other Cybertronians who might come home. Only Wheeljack would go with Prime; he was one of their best pilots, and had wandered the galaxy for aeons before finding his way to Earth and the team. Glitch pulled him aside for a quick word as the party broke up, knowing better than to argue with Prime over non-medical matters. (Wheeljack was also much closer to her in height; sometimes she practically had to shout to get Prime’s attention.)
“Promise me you’ll look out for each other,” she said. “The Allspark may be the source of your life, but if my version’s anything to go by, for individual ‘bots it’s trouble with a capital T, R, O, U, B, L and E.”
“It can’t be that bad – can it?” At least Wheeljack was taking her semi-seriously.
“Let me put it this way. My Allspark nearly flattened the ‘bots it chose as its protectors, then almost got them killed again when Megatron found them. They were missing, presumed dead, for half a century.” A very long half-century for Glitch, who had had two close friends on that crew. Including her now-partner and boyfriend. “Megatron was in stasis and pieces all that time. Starscream tried to use it to level Detroit; it offlined Optimus trying to get rid of Screamer, then revived him. Its power also revived Megatron’s head and allowed him to create the Dinobots and Soundwave before putting him back together again. When he got his servos on it, Optimus had to disperse it to avoid disastrophe, and the fragments are still causing all kinds of chaos. Everything from haywire assembly lines to an immortal Starscream. And its reassembly killed Prowl. Shall I go on?” She could, for quite some time.
“No, that’s enough. I’ll have Optimus’ back out there, I promise, and we both know he’ll have mine.” Prime would always put his soldiers’ and friends’ lives first. Then something Glitch had said struck Wheeljack afresh. “Your Starscream’s immortal? I thought ours was a nuisance, but…”
“He certainly used to be. Most inconvenient in some ways, though I for one don’t actually want him dead. Jazz thinks he saw the fragment keeping him alive being pulled out when he and Prowl were reassembling the Allspark, but his shell was never found. And when it comes to that ‘bot – don’t count him as offline until you see the body, and even then you can still be wrong. Come to think of it, that applies to Megatron, too.”
“Not ours, I hope. Anyway, I’d better get going. Look after Magnus and Bulkhead for me.”
“Wilco.” The Wrecker and the field-tech went their separate ways, the latter hurrying to the ex-Decepticon warship the team was using as a base, suddenly dying to get to work.
***
“Whoa, whoa, whoa! How’re you gonna attach the cladding when the framing structure’s incomplete, huh?” Bulkhead’s voice, followed by a series of metallic clangs and clatters that sounded like something out of a slapstick comedy, must have carried for hics as Arcee and Glitch drove to the building site that was meant to be an air traffic control tower.
“Labour issues?” ‘Cee asked as she transformed beside her old friend. With the Autobots rotating between patrols and their individual duties, Bulkhead was having to work with a crew of Vehicon volunteers whose enthusiasm clearly outstripped their skills.
The answer was self-evident, so Bulkhead changed the subject. “Any news of our fugitives?”
“Just signs of recent scavenging in former Decepticon installations.”
“And the warship can’t detect their life signals?” Bulkhead looked to Glitch, now the team’s only tech “expert” on-planet, who had been making friends with the Nemesis ever since Megatron’s defeat.
“Shielded,” she answered briefly. “Working on it. Needed to spin my wheels, though, and get a vent of fresh – whoa!” Amply demonstrating why some of her teammates affectionately called her “the little monkey” when they thought she wasn’t listening, she scrambled up the side of the half-built tower to where part of the frame was likely to give way. A few nanokliks’ work with her built-in blowtorch, and the problem was solved. She all but jumped back down, eager to be on solid ground again, and rejoined her friends.
“Nice one,” Bulkhead said, appraising her patch job with a professional optic. “How’d you spot that?”
“I’ve done my share of construction work, back in Detroit.” She no longer said “back home”; she had three homes in two universes. (The others’ Cybertron wasn’t one of them, though – yet.) “Urban combat tends to get messy, and it’s only right that we should help fix the damage afterwards. Good PR, too. One learns to see problems before they become serious.” Especially if, like her, one had a talent for pattern-recognition – even at the expense of other abilities, such as face-recognition. “By the way – maybe cut the Vehicons a bit more slack. Not everybot has your expertise.” Bulkhead had been a labourer before the war, so-called “low caste”, protoformed for construction. She hoped she’d found a positive spin to put on that.
Either she had, or he’d hidden his reaction well. “I’m trying, but it’s not easy. If a mistake can be made, they’ve probably made it, even with the basic stuff. I know they can learn, but – honestly, I’d rather have a crew of Constructicons than these guys.”
“Scrapper would definitely help,” Glitch agreed, thinking of the Constructicons back in her universe. “’Specially if Snarl lent a servo as well. Maybe Mixmaster, if we could get hold of enough decent motor oil. Not Dirtboss, though. We’d have an Energon racket on our servos before we knew where we were.” She was partway through describing the diminutive Decepticon’s attempt to control Detroit’s oil supply when Bumblebee called her comm. “Glitch, we need you back here now. Magnus is hurt, badly. I’m sending a groundbridge.” Stars, that sounded serious. Oh well. That was what she’d signed up for.
It was serious, as even a preliminary scan made abundantly clear once she’d reached the Nemesis med-bay, where Magnus was already on her repair table. “Blimey, there’s a lot of internal damage here. Most of it pretty bad. Predacon? New one, I’d say.”
“Yeah, two of ‘em. How’d you know?” Smokescreen had been on patrol with Ultra Magnus, and was still hovering by his commander’s side, not quite blocking her light. Had Magnus been hurt trying to protect him?
“I do have optics. Scorching, impact trauma and denta and claw marks add up to Predacon, but the claw spacing and synth shape and size don’t match Predaking. I don’t suppose you got a good look at their alt-modes?” she asked out of vague curiosity, most of her processor focused on her patient.
“Another dragon and one kinda like a big winged cyber-cat. A griffin, I think it’s called on Earth.”
“We’ll have to find them, and quickly,” Bumblebee put in, having just returned from updating Arcee and Bulkhead on the situation. “How’s Magnus?”
“Not good. I can stabilise him, for now, but we need another medic if he’s ever going to recover fully. Call Ratchet in, or let Knock Out out. In or out, I don’t care, just find someone better than me.” She had already begun to fix Magnus’ most severe injuries, but only her centuries of training kept her servos steady. She’d been qualified for less than two stellar-cycles, and had spent rather less time than that in that universe. And Magnus’ wounds were worse than she felt she could handle alone. “In the meantime, clear out and let me deal with this mess.”
Bumblebee and Smokescreen obeyed without a word, and must have chosen Option A. A short while later, Ratchet barged in, medical kit in servo. The two medibots worked side by side, speaking only when necessary, until Magnus was out of danger and heading towards recovery.
“He’ll be all right,” Glitch confirmed, more for her own benefit than for Ratchet’s. “Thanks for coming at such short notice, and – sorry, for calling you in. I suppose I panicked.” Her first case as the team’s primary medic, and she’d dragged Ratchet out of his semi-retirement to help her. Not a good start.
Ratchet’s servo entirely covered hers. “You did the right thing.” She’d seldom heard such gentleness from either Ratchet, that one or her mentor back in Detroit. “You have talent, but a case like this calls for experience you simply haven’t had time to acquire yet. Trying to handle it yourself would have been the height of foolishness.” He smiled down at his junior colleague. “By the way, you did a good job on Smokescreen during the battle. And Optimus, while I was – elsewhere.” Specifically, aboard that very ship and in Decepticon servos. “Thank you for that.”
Glitch blushed in acknowledgement and gratitude. “Just doing my duty. Practically had to blackmail Prime onto the repair table, though. Is he always like that, or was he just worried about you?”
“Oh, he’s been that way as long as I’ve known him, and still has the temerity to lecture me about my Energon intake.” Rightly so. On at least one occasion, Glitch had had to resort to sleight of servo to make sure Ratchet was properly fuelled. He changed the subject with almost unbecoming haste.  “Out of interest, how are you getting on with the ship’s systems?”
“Making progress, but Soundwave locked all the data storage up tight. And I’m still tripping a lot of alarm codes. Managed to detach them from the actual alarms, though.”
“Not a moment too soon.” Bumblebee had put his head around the door again. “If either of you can spare some time, we’re having a strategy meeting on the bridge.”
“Go,” Ratchet said. “I’ll stay with Magnus.”
“How’s the commander?” Smokescreen demanded the moment he saw her. He was clearly still beating himself up for letting Magnus be injured.
“With time, and rest, he’ll make a full recovery.” Everybot else visibly relaxed at that. They’d probably have preferred to hold the meeting in med-bay, keeping an optic on the patient and making sure both medics were included, but had respected her preference for peace, quiet and privacy.
As it turned out, the meeting was almost over. Their obvious priority was tracking down the new Predacons, no doubt cloned by the still-elusive Shockwave. Glitch would love to know how he’d managed that in the absence of the Allspark; in her universe, Starscream’s various clones and the Lugnuts Supreme had had to be brought online with tiny Allspark fragments. But the other Starscream had cloned himself as well, without any of that. Interesting…
A question for later, though. Bumblebee had a couple of ideas for places to start looking, and Glitch had something important to say.
“I’m coming with you. Ratchet can hold the fort here; stars know he’s had practice. And given what happened earlier, you may well need a medic soon.”
“Actually, I was hoping you’d come along,” Bumblebee said. “I’ve a feeling the first person I want to ask could already do with your expertise.” Such as it was.
His “feeling” was borne out by the fresh Energon trail the scout soon found and followed to its source – Predaking. The wounded dragon-Predacon did not look happy to see them, and the sentiment was mutual; Arcee, Bulkhead and Smokescreen primed their weapons and Glitch readied her shields as Predaking prepared to flame them all, but Bumblebee chose a very different way to deal with the situation. Negotiation. He handled Predaking magnificently, first bluffing him into standing down with a fake Immobiliser, then politely enquiring about the new Predacons. Unfortunately, Predaking claimed to have no knowledge of them, and Glitch for one believed him. As the others started to leave the mighty warrior to brood over the remains of his forebears in peace, though, she looked up from her medical scanner, indicated the site of his still-leaking wound and asked, “May I?”
Predaking just looked bemused, so she explained herself a little further. “I’m a medic, and you’re hurt. With your permission, I’d like to change that latter state of affairs.”
Predaking studied her for a long moment. “You wear the mark of the accursed Autobots, but you do not smell like them, or like any other Cybertronian. You are different.”
“Too right I am. I’m from another universe, but I have some experience treating Cybertronians of this one. You all bleed the same – Predacon, Autobot, Decepticon or neutral.” She forced herself to meet Predaking’s burning yellow optics. “And believe me, if there’d been a way to save the other clones both from the Wreckers and from slavery to Megatron, I’d have done so. What happened was a tragedy, and I give you my word of honour, it will not be repeated on my watch.”
“You speak truth,” Predaking conceded. “As did the other medic, Ratchet, who may have been the first person to show me and my kind true respect. Very well.” He transformed back into his dragon-form, twisting around to display a long cut along one side, awkward to reach, but relatively simple to repair. She fixed it in a matter of nanokliks – it was sparkling’s play after treating Ultra Magnus – and, once she’d found a fuel line, injected a vial of Energon to replace that which he’d lost, before stepping back into his field of vision and bowing. “Until we meet again, Your Highness.”
“Should that prove necessary, little medic.” She chose not to be offended by that as she turned, transformed and raced away after the others.
She soon caught up with them on the way to Darkmount, Megatron’s former citadel, where Knock Out had apparently claimed they could find a list of Shockwave’s old labs. A modicum of hacking – Glitch was getting used to breaking ‘Con cyphers – proved the Decepticon CMO right.
“Well, whaddaya know,” Bumblebee said as Smokescreen messed around on Megatron’s throne and Bulkhead rebuked him. “Knock Out actually shot straight for once.”
“What’d you have to do, scuff his finish?” Arcee asked. Knock Out was notoriously, ridiculously vain, in contrast to Glitch, who was proud of her scratched servos.
“Close. Now, let’s download the data and get outta here.” Glitch was way ahead of him; she’d set the console up to copy the decrypted files straight to a transfer drive the moment she broke the cypher. Which was just as well; a flier, too small and fast to be Predaking, the wrong shape to be Prime, was headed straight for Darkmount. Nanokliks later, one of the last ‘bots any of the party had expected to see landed right in front of them. He was taller and bulkier than he had been just days before, and his optics and biolights shone purple rather than red, but he was recognisably Megatron.
Until he spoke. Whoever was using King ‘Con’s voicebox, it probably wasn’t its original owner. Megatron liked overdone rhetoric, but “minions of the Prime” was a bit much even for him. And “his” voice had extra harmonics that sent a shiver down Glitch’s backstrut as she readied her combat-capable tools. Why was she so tired all of a sudden?
Soon enough, the situation was made clearer. Megatron wasn’t in control of his body – Unicron was. The Chaos Bringer. Widely regarded as a myth in Glitch’s universe; very real in that one. Wait ‘til I tell Bee about this, she thought drowsily and almost nonsensically.
Somehow, she managed to keep pace with the rest of the team as they ducked and dodged Unicron’s fire, but they were clearly outmatched, and evac via groundbridge would require them to get away from their opponent. You’ve been around me too long, she thought hazily as Bumblebee led them, in vehicle mode, between Megatron’s peds, off a ledge and through a tunnel excavated by his blaster. That was the kind of stunt she usually pulled.
They raced through the abandoned corridors of Darkmount until ‘Cee called a halt, not a moment too soon. Ahead of them, the floor gave way to what looked like a deep pool of molten slag.
“What in blazes is that?” Glitch asked.
“A smelting pit,” Bulkhead told her, clearly not wanting to go into detail.
“For once, I don’t want to know.” Mostly because she could guess. All too easily.
Bumblebee barely had time to call for a groundbridge before a lilac explosion behind them announced Unicron-Megatron’s proximity – and threw them all into the air. Bumblebee and Glitch landed on solid ground, but the others ended up hanging over the smelting pit, a chain of terrified ‘bots.
As Bulkhead fought to keep Arcee and Smokescreen from fiery oblivion, Unicron landed Megatron behind him, shaping a pair of hook-like weapons for himself out of lavender light. While Bumblebee held his attention, Glitch climbed up his back, grateful for once for her small stature, and transformed her right servo into a laser scalpel, intending to sever the electrical connection between his right arm and his CPU. But either her fatigue-addled processor had miscalculated, or Unicron’s upgrades had changed Megatron’s internal structure. Where she expected a shower of sparks, deep purple liquid welled from the incision. Dark Energon, she just had time to realise before everything went black.
***
“What’re we supposed to call him, huh? Megacron? Unitron?”
“Really? That’s your biggest issue right now?” The familiar sound of Smokescreen and Arcee bickering greeted Glitch as she came back online. Somehow, they’d survived and returned to their mobile base.
“Megacron sounds better,” she put in, “but Unitron emphasises the fact that it’s Unicron driving the bus, so to speak. Either would work.”
“You’re awake.” Ratchet sounded more than a little relieved – to someone who knew him well. “How do you feel?”
“A little more stasis wouldn’t hurt, but all systems are nominal.” She’d run a self-diagnostic the nanoklik she returned to consciousness. “What happened?”
“It appears you are hypersensitive to Dark Energon. Simply being in Unicron’s presence may have been enough to weaken you, and exposure to that which flows through Megatron’s system caused almost immediate stasis. You’re lucky to be in such good shape after a fall like that, by the way.”
“I’m tougher than I look. And I did feel tired pretty much as soon as Unitron showed up – as though I’d just pulled three shifts in a row.” Her record was four. Not an experience she planned to repeat. “How did we get back here?”
“Ratchet opened a groundbridge above the smelting pit,” Smokescreen answered. “Just as the floor gave way under Bulkhead. Bee scooped you up and jumped right into it.”
“Bet that annoyed Megacron.” As the others moved on to debate their next move, and tried to contact Prime and Wheeljack, Glitch called up the results of a scan she’d made during the battle with Unitron – and a couple of other files. Fascinating… “Ratchet, would you mind providing a second opinion on something?”
“Not at all.” As Glitch sat up on a makeshift repair table that had been set up on the warship’s bridge, the Autobots’ current HQ, Ratchet seated himself beside her, leaning down to examine her datapad. “What am I looking at?”
“Megatron’s sparkbeat, recorded during his last physical exam. Before you ask, I needed access to the medical files in case any of the Vehicons were injured, and if Knock Out wanted to anonymise these data properly, he probably shouldn’t have called the folder “Big M”.” Ratchet conceded the point with a shred of a laugh. She switched to another file. “This is Unicron’s sparkbeat, pulled from your records of his last awakening. And this is a scan of the being currently walking around in Megatron’s upgraded shell. What do you make of it?”
“It looks as though – Unicron’s sparkbeat has been superimposed onto Megatron’s, somehow.”
“That’s what I thought. I think Megatron’s still alive in there. Maybe he couldn’t join with the Allspark because of Dark Energon shenanigans. Unicron’s in control for now, but Megatron’s pulled a Master at least once before. If we can reach him – maybe he’ll do it again.”
“Pulled a Master?” Glitch really had to stop making references the others wouldn’t get.
“Doctor Who. The Master’s another renegade Time Lord, Megatron to the Doctor’s Optimus, if you like. He wants to conquer the universe, not see or protect it, but occasionally he refuels more than his system can handle and has to team up with the Doctor to save his own circuits.”
“I see what you’re driving at. It might be worth a shot, but don’t pin all your hopes on that. Megatron has a strong will, but Unicron is a god.”
“And human mythology’s full of gods defeating each other, or being beaten or tricked by mortals. But I’ll keep all my options open.” Seeing that the others had stopped trying to contact the away team, she and Ratchet headed over to join them. “Any luck?”
“No response. Maybe they heard us and can’t transmit for some reason; maybe we’re on our own. Either way, we need to figure out why Unicron’s here.”
“And what he wants.” Bumblebee finished Arcee’s sentence.
“To destroy the spark of his arch-enemy, Primus.” Ratchet stated what should have been obvious.
“But that’s the core of our planet!” Yes, Smokescreen, we know.
As ‘Cee complained that the situation was unfair, and Ratchet responded in typically dramatic fashion, Glitch headed over to another console and resumed one of her projects. She had an inkling it, and the ship itself, would be needed very soon.
“In other words, life’s not fair,” she said from beneath the console when Ratchet had finished. “All the more reason to make our own fairness.” Hm. That gave her another, trivial idea.
***
“Crikey O’Reilly!” (Maybe Glitch had spent a little too long researching Earth culture.) “That looks like some seriously bad mojo.” (And a shade too long around Jazz, if that were possible.) Armed with the knowledge that Megatron was in some way still alive, the Autobots had just started tracking down his exact location – only to see an energy spike at the same position. Under the circumstances, probably a type of energy Glitch had encountered for the first time earlier that day, but knew about from the others’ stories. Dark Energon. At the Predacon burial ground. That and Unicron’s presence couldn’t add up to anything good.
Specifically, the most likely summation was an army of reanimated Predacon shells (why not more modern Cybertronians? Because they were more accessible, or more powerful?), heading for the Well of All Sparks to undo all the Autobots’ hard work.
“So what do we do?” Bulkhead asked.
“We put ourselves between Unicron’s army and the Well.” Bumblebee’s strategy was simple and sound. They couldn’t afford to wait for Prime, Wheeljack and the Allspark; they had to act, and the warship was their greatest asset.
“Glitch, you’ve been working on this ship since we took it over,” the newly minted warrior said to the field-tech. She had, especially in the previous few hours. It was better than worrying about the away team, or getting in Ratchet’s way as he monitored Ultra Magnus. “Think you can pilot it?”
“He’s a bit bigger than Moth, and I might have to stand on something to reach the controls, but a ship’s a ship. I’m not touching the weapons, though.” In her reality, no self-respecting Autobot used such things if they could help it.
“I wouldn’t ask you to. Bulkhead, can you be her co-pilot and main gunner?” And ready to take over in the event of further Dark Energon exposure, he carefully didn’t say.
“’Con engineering. User-friendly, right?” Particularly when an Autobot had spent days refining the controls – and adding in a few of her own.
Once Ratchet and Ultra Magnus had been transported to safety on the surface, the remaining ‘bots were soon on their way to intercept Unicron’s horde. Glitch had forgotten how much she enjoyed piloting. She was usually scared of heights, but flying a ship she trusted was fine. It didn’t make much sense, but that was often the way with her anxiety. She might have been a microgram rusty, though.
“Whoa, easy!” Bulkhead reached for the controls as she banked to port a little too sharply, sending crewmembers and loose objects sliding across the deck. “You’re flying a warship, not a cruiser.”
“Sorry.” She levelled out, never taking her optics from the instruments in front of her.
“Primary fusion cannons, null-rays, ion blasters – everything we need to stand a fighting chance against Unicron’s army.” Bumblebee listed off the ship’s complement of death-bringers. Glitch wondered idly what had become of the stasis ray she had seen mentioned in the team’s files. That was much more to her liking. Non-lethal, non-destructive and reversible.
“Should be able to buy a fair amount of time for the others to get here,” she remarked to Bulkhead as Arcee complimented Bumblebee on his leadership skills. “Before our circuits get fried.”
“Ah, c’mon! Where’s that famous optimism?”
“It opted out when I saw the scale of our problem. If Prime and Wheeljack don’t show up in time, the odds of our survival are slim indeed. I can’t calculate the probability that they will, and even if they do we’ll still be outnumbered – but I do like those odds.”
“I guess we can only try,” Bulkhead just had time to say before the most annoying person on the planet arrived on the bridge.
“Autobots!” Starscream, and a squad of Vehicons, levelled missiles and blasters at the crew. “Surrender this warship!” Everyone but Glitch turned to face down the intruders – then stopped short, for reasons she only understood when Screamer boasted that he had the Immobiliser, a device that caused instant, lasting stasis-lock.
“And in case you’re wondering, Smokescreen is in no position to come to your rescue.” Glitch could see Knock Out reflected in the viewport in front of her, wearing Smokescreen’s phase shifter. The young ‘bot had been fetching the Immobiliser and another relic, the Polarity Gauntlet, from the ship’s vaults; he must have been intercepted on the way back.
“Climb down and step away from the console,” Starscream commanded her, “or I’ll freeze you and simply drag you away.” Or, more likely, get one of the Vehicons to move her.
“Either use that thing or put it down,” she countered, digits still flying over the controls. “Waving that glowstick of destiny around just makes you look even more like an idiot.” Starscream wasn’t an idiot, she knew, but that was far from obvious. “But if you do use it and miss, you’re likely to hit this console and drop us all out of the sky. And if your aim is good enough,” she activated one of her custom settings, “good luck flying this ship with the isomorphic lock active.”
“Isomorphic lock?” the bewildered Decepticon asked.
“User recognition system I just finished installing. The controls will only respond to designated pilots. And I couldn’t add you or anyone else to the list and fly at the same time, even if you forced me.”
“Ah, Screamy won’t use the glowstick on any of us,” Bulkhead said from where the Vehicons had herded the other Autobots into the centre of a circle of ‘Cons. “He needs us if he’s gonna stand any chance of surviving Unicron.”
“You misunderstand,” Starscream told him, Glitch forgotten for the moment. “I do not intend to use this warship for battle, but for quickly getting as far away as possible from this doomed planet.” Someone was jumping to conclusions.
“Earth would be nice,” Knock Out commented, “now that Unicron no longer seems to be calling it home.” That particular Decepticon did seem to have a soft spot for that world, or at least its cars.
“Shut up!” Starscream lived up to the second half of his name. “Now, deactivate that lock and move away from those controls, Twitch,” the name’s Glitch, “or get stiff.”
“There’s just one thing you’ve overlooked.” What was Bumblebee playing at? Oh well; at least he might have spared Glitch another round of trying to outsmart Megatron’s most cunning lieutenant. “That device you’re holding? Not the Immobiliser.”
In the viewport, Glitch saw Starscream take a moment too long to figure out whether or not the warrior was bluffing. In that moment, the Autobots counterattacked, taking down the Vehicons within nanokliks. Starscream lunged for Bumblebee, and somehow got the upper servo almost as quickly. “I will silence you forever!”
No! She turned, magnets and EMP generator sliding into place – just in time to see a flawless claw-tipped servo phase through the Seeker’s chest, take the Immobiliser and belt him into stasis with it.
“Now will you believe I’m joining the winning team?” Knock Out asked, still holding the remains of the broken relic.
“Knock Out! We needed that!” Ratchet’s common complaint was as good as a “yes” from Bumblebee.
“Wait – it – really was the Immobiliser?”
“Good riddance, if you ask me.” Glitch turned back to her console, but not before giving Knock Out a friendly smile. She rather liked the other medic, despite herself (and hated the idea of putting anybot in permanent stasis-lock). “And welcome to the team.”
***
“Are we there yet?” Smokescreen asked as he, Arcee and Knock Out returned from locking Starscream up. (And, owing to the deployment of Glitch’s best scraplet eyes, checking him over.)
“We’re right on schedule,” Bulkhead replied.
“And so is Unicron,” Bumblebee added.
“Let’s get his attention, then,” Glitch said, before sending the ship into a steep dive, and Knock Out skidding across the deck, the moment the gunners were in position.
Just one strafing run was enough to draw Unicron’s Terror-Predacons away from the Well – and towards the ship. Glitch should have been terrified, but as a power surge pulsed through her circuits, analogous to a human’s adrenaline rush, all fear was burned away. She didn’t even feel the buzz at the back of her head that distinguished reasonable fear from the product of her cross-wired processor. Twisting, turning, diving, soaring, almost dancing between the undead Predacons like a young, less skilled Hera Syndulla or Powerglide, anchored to her console by the safety straps on her legs usually used by human riders, she even found herself struggling not to laugh.
Not everybot was amused, though. “Are you sure you know what you’re doing?” Knock Out asked, clinging for dear spark to an unused console.
“Oh, relax. I learned from Omega Supreme’s mentor.” Her Ratchet, to be exact, who was also her mentor. Might that make her Omega’s sister in some way? Now that would be weird.
“I’d never have guessed. You fly like a Wrecker,” Bulkhead remarked.
“Thank you.” Coming from one of the last of the black-ops unit, she knew that was a compliment.
At that moment, the conversation was interrupted by a ship-shaking impact, which must have done some serious damage. “One engine is down,” Bulkhead reported. “It can be jump-started, but not without compromising our shields. We don’t have any other spare power.”
“I do.” Glitch had prepared for that possibility. She tore a couple of wires from beneath their console, flipped open a panel on her own forearm and crosslinked the two systems before even she could think twice. “Good grief.”
“You OK?”
“Fine. It’s just – more intense than I expected.” The connection she had forged wasn’t a full gestalt powerlink, like a combiner’s, but it still flooded her processor and frame with sensation. With an ordinary ship, she’d probably have gone into shutdown or meltdown almost immediately. As it was, though, it was a simple matter to direct power from her own systems into the inactive ones, giving them the spark they needed to start up again.
While she was distracted by that, a reanimated Predacon she and Bulkhead hadn’t managed to avoid slammed into a viewport right by Knock Out, who jumped back, yelling, “Zombie-‘Con! Zombie-‘Con!”
Bumblebee and Smokescreen moved in front of him, weapons at the ready, but they needn’t have bothered. A burst of yellow flame incinerated the mobile corpse, and a few others.
“Predacon,” Glitch said to herself with more than a little satisfaction.
But even their new allies couldn’t be everywhere at once. Despite Glitch’s modifications to their shields, despite her tweaking the engine burn to turn even their drive plume into a weapon, the ship started to take critical damage faster than she could compensate for it. They couldn’t stay in the air much longer, but Glitch had one last SD card under her plating. Almost by sheer willpower as much as by using the failing thrusters, she placed the ship directly above a flock of fliers. “Brace for impact!”
The warship dropped like the proverbial stone, its fall cushioned by several squashed Terror-‘Cons, skidded on their spilled fuel, and finally came to rest bare mechanometres from the Well of All Sparks. “Everybot all right?”
“Nothing a little carnauba wax won’t fix up.” Really? That was Knock Out’s priority?
Glitch bit back the sassy remark she wanted to make, focusing on the bigger picture. “I wish I could say the same for the Justice. It’s going to take weeks to get him back in the air.”
“You renamed the Nemesis?”
“Of course. The old name was too negative. Revenge is never good, but justice can be – especially if it’s restorative, not retributive.”
Mercifully, Knock Out chose not to get into that argument, though he did his best to start another one. “I say we leave it here to rust, if we even survive what’s coming.”
“Over my cold, offline shell! This is a Cybertronian we’re talking about here!” Knock Out looked surprised and confused. “You didn’t know?”
“Know what?” Bulkhead asked, still recovering from the crash.
“This isn’t just a ship. He’s a Metrotitan. Trypticon, to be exact. Stasis-locked, but alive. I recognised the general layout and file architecture from my Omega Supreme,” all the Omega Sentinels, really; they had been her sparklinghood obsession, “and did some digging.” That was how she had coped with the powerlink. Even in deep stasis, Trypticon’s mind had shielded hers. She vowed to repay him by bringing him back online.
If she lived, that was. The fight wasn’t anywhere near over, and the greatest danger was yet to come. She disconnected herself from Trypticon, then had to brace herself against her console as her systems registered that she was running on fumes. She’d prepared for that, too, and withdrew a canister of green liquid from a hidden drawer below the controls, consuming the contents in one go and making a face. It tasted worse than boot-camp rations.
“Is that Synth-En?” Knock Out was right to be wary. He’d once been soundly beaten by Ratchet under the influence of an early version of synthetic Energon.
“The stable one, yes. Shockwave didn’t have time to destroy his manufacturing facility, though he locked the controls up tight. I had to ask very nicely just for one dose. But if this doesn’t counter the effects of Dark Energon exposure, nothing will.”
Luckily for her, it did. Even outside the protection of the Justice, with a trail of Dark Energon staining the ground, she was still ready for battle as the Autobots (including one recent defector) lined up in front of the Well, the Predacons – Predaking, another dragon and an ursagryph, easily mistaken for a griffin; Smokescreen had been nearly right – landing behind them, all braced for the fight of their lives.
“Stick close to me,” she said to Knock Out, indicating her shield with one magnet. “Finish protector.”
“I’m never going to live that down, am I?” Knock Out seemed resigned to the fact. “Speaking of finishes, yours could do with quite a bit of work.”
True, but… “Don’t have time. And I’m still surprised you do.”
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way. And if we both get out of this alive, at least let me do something about your hands. They’re painful to look at.”
Glitch spared a brief glance for the offending components. Yes, they were scuffed, but she liked them that way. They showed that she worked for a living; that she wasn’t some spoiled upper-class sparkling or privileged academic. If fixing them up would make Knock Out happy, though… “All right. When we survive this.”
Her optimism wasn’t universal; after all, as Bumblebee pointed out, they were the last line of defence for the Well and the planet. Not the safest role in the universe.
“I would recommend leaving that,” Predaking “suggested”, “to those more suited for the task. Skylynx! Darksteel! Allow nothing to enter the Well!”
Without another word from anybot, the three living Predacons transformed back into their alt-modes, leaped over the Autobots’ heads and charged their undead ancestors. Their flames held back the horde of Terror-‘Cons for a little while, but there were just too many of them; Predaking and his new subjects were swept into the Well, still fighting denta and claw to slow the advance of Unicron’s army.
“Really? This is how it ends?” Bulkhead asked in disbelief.
“We’re not losing our planet,” Bumblebee declared. “Not without taking Unicron with it.” One recently reawakened deity sharing a body with a very angry and independent ex-gladiator against seven extremely determined warriors, six of them fighting for a home they had only just regained, the seventh fighting for her friends. One almost had to feel sorry for the Chaos Bringer. Almost.
The power surge that had carried Glitch through the dogfight was fading at last, followed by the Synth-En’s most obvious effects, allowing fear to take up residence in her processor once more. She ignored it with the ease of long practice. She didn’t stop climbing because she was scared of heights, or making friends because she was scared of losing them. And she certainly wouldn’t back down from a battle because she was scared of dying and leaving her loved ones. All the same – that would be a really good time for the away team to show up.
As if on cue, Magnus’ ship (borrowed by Wheeljack), the Iron Will, swept overhead. The relief in Bulkhead’s voice was shared by the whole of the party as he said simply, “Optimus.”
“I never thought I’d be so happy to see that big rig,” Knock Out added.
“Expeditionary fighting vehicle,” Glitch corrected with her volume turned down low. Knock Out clearly didn’t know Prime had scanned a new alt. (Two new alts, technically, but his dinoform was supposed to be a secret.)
Prime himself disembarked from the Iron Will in midair, flying straight for Unicron, but the dark god fired on the bigger target first. A spear of purple light hit the retreating spacecraft right next to one of the engines, knocking it out of the sky.
“’Jackie!” Before anyone could stop him, Bulkhead transformed and drove off to check on his downed joint-best friend. Arcee tried to follow, but Glitch held her back as she and Knock Out exchanged glances. One medic had to go with Bulkhead and one had to stay behind, but which should be which?
“You go,” Knock Out said. “Wheeljack’s not exactly up to speed with recent developments.” He was right; even injured, the reckless Wrecker would probably attack the ex-‘Con on sight.
“Copy that.” Glitch transformed and raced away towards the crash site, sparing as many prayers as she could for all her friends.
By the time she reached the wrecked ship, Bulkhead had already found Wheeljack and was about to try to move him. She hadn’t arrived a moment too soon. As she knelt beside her patient, she kept thinking of Ultra Magnus lying dented and leaking on her repair table, and her inability to save him by herself. This isn’t like that. Ratchet said you have talent, and Wheeljack’s tough. You can do this.
“You’re lucky,” she told the white sports car once her preliminary scan had finished. “Not many ‘bots survive a crash like that with mostly superficial injuries. There’s still some internal damage, though, and you seem to have hit your head pretty hard, so stay off your peds for a while.” To Bulkhead, she added, “We’d better take him and the Allspark outside before this mess gets any worse. But next time, wait for a medic before trying to move a casualty if possible.”
“I’ve been worse,” Wheeljack informed them a little vaguely as they ‘bothandled him out of the ship, the Allspark in its glowing, floating container trailing behind.
“I’d hate to see that,” Glitch shot back before realising that she had – after Wheeljack’s and Magnus’ fight with Predaking that had cost the commander a servo and his signature weapon. Wheeljack hadn’t quite had time to repair the Forge of Solus Prime before setting off to retrieve the Allspark. He’ll have time soon.
Especially with Prime back in the game. The Autobot leader chose that moment to arrive, unharmed and not visibly grieving; the others were probably fine, then, and holding Unicron’s attention.
Wheeljack cut straight to the chase, as befitted a sports car. “So, how’re we gonna get that thing to safety?” He jerked a thumb over his shoulder at the Allspark.
“By the only means available to us,” Prime replied, “under these most dire of circumstances. The very survival of our species on this or any other world depends upon it.” He outlined his plan; Glitch calculated that it would almost certainly work, and the bait-and-switch element appealed to her, but her spark dimmed to a flicker as she realised what the consequences would probably be, and when he met her optics and gave her a barely perceptible nod, it was practically a single photon.
Nobot else had any better ideas, though, and Prime’s plan didn’t need her, so as he and the Allspark flew back to the Well, she concentrated on things she could do. Fixing Wheeljack and returning to the others.
They got there just in time to see Unicron pry the Allspark’s container from Prime’s servos, having shot him out of the air. “I shall devour your Allspark whole!”
Quite the reverse, as he realised when he opened the container. “What? A trick!” They were the last words he spoke in Megatron’s body; the vessel forged for the source of Cybertronian life, emptied of its former contents, pulled his “anti-spark” out of his stolen shell and sealed it away, hopefully for good. Nanokliks later, a fusillade of explosions echoed up from deep in the Well, indicating that Unicron’s Terror-‘Cons couldn’t “survive” without him. The planet was safe at last.
Megatron’s frame had crashed to the ground as Unicron left it, but as Prime began to explain what had happened to the other Autobots, and Starscream (must have escaped in our crash) turned up like the proverbial bad shanix, he started to get up again, his optics a familiar red once more (though his biolights remained purple). Starscream heaped praise on his master, sounding rather like his alternate’s sycophantic clone, but Megatron’s reaction was somewhat unexpected. When his SIC referred to ruling Cybertron, Megatron refused. Quite forcefully.
“Because I now know the true meaning of oppression,” he said when asked why, after exchanging a long glance with his former friend Prime, “and have thus lost my taste for inflicting it.”
Starscream tried to bluster his way back to familiar ground (or air), but Megatron was having none of that. “The Decepticons are no more, and that – is – final.”
“A sensible Megatron,” Glitch remarked. “Wonders really will never cease.”
Megatron’s optics eventually sought her out, standing in the shade of the Wreckers. “Ah, the visitor from another universe. Tell me, what became of my counterpart in your reality?”
“Last I heard, he was still in prison, having been defeated and captured – by a maintenance crew.” And a few friends of theirs, but she chose to keep things simple.
“A maintenance-?” Megatron stared at her in disbelief for an uncomfortable moment. Then he threw back his head, and a sound rang out that had not been heard from the warlord in many, many stellar-cycles. Great peals of pure, genuine, joyful, sparkfelt laughter.
***
Once again, the Autobots (including Knock Out) gathered under Cybertron’s sun, this time at the edge of the Well of All Sparks. Once again, Prime was making a speech. And once again, it was a bittersweet occasion, though only two people knew why. Unicron was imprisoned, his army had disintegrated, Megatron, Starscream and the Predacons were literally in the wind and Shockwave wouldn’t try anything until the odds were in his favour. Only Prime and Glitch were aware of or suspected the full cost of that victory, though the former was about to change that.
“In order to both protect the Allspark,” he began, “and secure Unicron’s defeat, it was necessary for me to empty the vessel’s contents.”
“Into where?” Bumblebee asked.
“The Matrix of Leadership.” The repository of the wisdom of all past Primes, housed in the current Prime’s spark chamber. Not wholly unlike another Matrix in Glitch’s favourite television programme, she thought, trying desperately to distract herself from what she knew was coming. “As such, my own spark can no longer be separated from the multitude of others within me.” There it was.
“Are you telling us,” Ratchet now also knew what Prime had to do, “that you are now – one with the Allspark?”
“Heh, that’s what you say when someone kicks… the…” Smokescreen’s voice trailed away as he came to the same conclusion.
“Exactly,” Glitch said, her voice already heavy with sorrow.
Smokescreen rounded on her, suddenly furious. “You knew? And you didn’t say anything?”
“It’s not something one drops into casual conversation. And – I hoped, for once, I was wrong. But after what happened to Prowl – I’m just surprised it’s taken this long.” Her predecessor back in Detroit had donated his own spark to complete a partially reassembled Allspark, which had killed him instantly.
“To not return the Allspark to the Well,” Prime managed to get them back on track, “would be to prevent future generations of new life from existing on Cybertron.” Which, after everything they’d gone through, was unthinkable. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. “My quest must be completed.”
“Optimus,” Ratchet objected, “I didn’t return to Cybertron to save a life only to lose the one I care most about.” Glitch hadn’t even considered the effect on her colleague of losing his Amica. She resolved to be there for him, as much as he and her processor allowed, for as long as he needed her.
“Ratchet’s restored planets!” Bulkhead pointed out. “He’ll find a way to save you!”
“We can turn to Vector Sigma, just like we did before,” Arcee chimed in.
Prime was immovable. “Because the Matrix must now be relinquished with the Allspark, it cannot be restored, or passed down to another. But while this may very well mark the end of the Age of Primes, leadership can be earned with or without the Matrix.” Too right. There was no such thing in Glitch’s universe, to her knowledge, but Cybertron still functioned – mostly. Her own Optimus Prime had no ancient relic on which to call, but was growing into a great leader nonetheless. “And in my view, you have each acted as a Prime.” Steady on!
As his gaze fell on Knock Out, the medibot managed a self-deprecating, “Well, I never really had the best role models.”
“You have them now,” Glitch told him, her optics sweeping across the assembly. Three fierce warriors, three loyal and brave Wreckers, one dedicated doctor – and, of course, the leader who had stood by his people through thick and thin, fighting side by side with them, caring for each and every one.
“As even Megatron has demonstrated on this day,” Prime continued, “every sentient being possesses the capacity for change.” He turned away, towards the Well, activating the stabilisers on his jetpack – then turned back to say one last thing. “I ask only this of you, fellow Autobots.” Yes, that includes you, a brief glance at Knock Out seemed to say. “Keep fighting the noblest of fights.”
“You can count on us to keep the peace.” Bumblebee spoke for all of them, as he so often had since regaining his voice.
Reassured, Prime turned away again and flew high into the air, before letting himself fall directly into the Well. Every optic remained fixed on the shortcut to Primus even after he had vanished and every ‘bot there heard his voice once more – over comms, or in their heads? It was impossible to tell. “Above all, do not lament my absence, for in my spark I know that this is not the end, but merely a new beginning. Simply put, another transformation.”
Just go forward in all your beliefs, and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine, Glitch thought as she and her friends watched a multicoloured multitude of sparks rise from the Well. But the words of an even older, even wiser character than the Doctor felt more appropriate. I will not say: do not weep, for not all tears are an evil. She couldn’t cry, but at such times she often wished she could.
For the others’ sake, though, she kept it together until she was in the privacy of her tiny room on the Justice, had put some music on (a human piece, Elgar’s magnificent setting of Newman’s poem The Dream of Gerontius, describing a soul’s journey to the Christian afterlife) and had fired up her terminal (a faithful-as-possible copy of the ones she had left behind in Nevada and Detroit and on her Cybertron) to pour her feelings out into her own music. Before she could make a start, however, a file caught her optic. It hadn’t been there before, and was entitled, “For Glitch.”
She ran a virus scan (one can never be too careful), then opened it. It was a text file, written in an old Cybertronian dialect, laid out like poetry or song lyrics. From the little she understood, she knew they would fit her nearly-finished “Song for Cybertron” perfectly. They captured not just the joy of finally seeing the planet restored and Cybertron’s intrinsic beauty, but also the long aeons of conflict and darkness that preceded that restoration, and the countless Cybertronians who would never see it, those whose shells still lay beneath their world’s new surface and those who had fallen far away. All of them, regardless of faction. Skyquake, Dreadwing and Breakdown would be remembered, just like Tailgate, Cliffjumper and Seaspray. All Cybertronians bled the same – within one universe, at least.
The lyrics were simply signed “OP”. Optimus Prime or Orion Pax? she wondered. The firebrand archivist or the gentle general? And did it matter? They were aspects of the same person, the same spark under different armour. She had fought alongside Optimus Prime, and talked late into the night with Orion Pax. She knew she would miss all of him, whatever he – or she – might want.
When had he written them? According to the file’s embedded metadata, it had been created after Bumblebee’s warrior ceremony, most likely after Prime and Wheeljack left Cybertron, and added to her terminal while she was helping transport Ultra Magnus to the Well. With so much else to worry about, he had taken the time to set words to her music – having first got hold of her draft, somehow. Ratchet had access to all her files, and would do a great deal for his Amica; he’d probably copied it at some point after she casually mentioned that she was writing a song that was crying out for words she couldn’t give it. Prime had obliged – as a farewell gift, it had turned out. “Stars, Orion…”
As the great baritone Bryn Terfel thundered out, “Proficiscere, anima Christiana” – an ancient prayer over the dying – she finally opened her composition software and began a new piece. One that would tell the story of a young ‘bot who dared to look beyond the limits set for him, to dream of a better world, and to work with – not merely for – the oppressed in his unjust society, using his higher status to help them where he could. Who humbly accepted rank and responsibility for the sake of his people. Who, when war came despite his best efforts, knew the names and stories of all his Autobots, and regretted every death, even those of enemy soldiers. Who stayed kind and hopeful even in exile, ceaselessly protecting the organics on his new homeworld – and exacting retribution when one of those in his special care was hurt. Who would tear off a Decepticon’s door to save a human he didn’t know, and give up most of his memory for a planet not his own. Who had remained an Autobot at spark, even when tricked into believing he was a Decepticon. Who had, at last, sacrificed that spark for his renewed world, and whose legacy lived on in the people whose sparks and hearts he had touched.
Though he had told them not to mourn, her spark didn’t even listen to her processor at times, let alone to anyone else. She did grieve for him and the hole he’d left in so many lives, and the piece reflected that. A lament for the last Prime.

The Consort and The Warlord Ch6
Summary: Megatron uses the All Spark to gain access to Cybertron and demands a peace treaty. An Autobot Consort is offered and Optimus is chosen. A Bonding Ceremony takes place and now Optimus has three vorn to figure out exactly what Megatron wants to do with Cybertron.
Pairing: Optimus Prime x Megatron
Continuity: Animated
Status: Ongoing
Over the last several cycles, Optimus had fallen into a comfortable rhythm in Kaon. Every morning he'd watch Hadeen rise over a warm cube of energon with Megatron. Than they would have a training session where Megatron had begun giving him advice now instead of just attacking him. Afterwards they would go their separate ways. Optimus typically went back to the habsuite to go over datapads of policies that Megatron wanted him to read. Surprisingly, there weren't any harsh laws or unfair policies and it was clear the warlord was keeping in mind the fear most civillians still had.
In all honesty, Optimus felt like he was just checking off grammar and editing the documents to be more formal. There were times he thought some policies were… unnecessary but a quick explanation from Megatron solidified their necessity. The dissolvement of factions was one that Optimus was certain would cause many voices of protest from both sides, given the fact that they all held pride in their marks.
Optimus sat on his chair, reading through a modified version of an earlier policy. He was halfway through a cube of energon when he heard a slight creak. Standing up, Optimus turned around in time to come faceplate to faceplate with Prowl.
"Waah!" Optimus shouted in surprise. He stepped back, stabilizer joints banging into the table. Righting himself, Optimus glared at the ninjabot.
"Are you trying to give me a spark attack?" Optimus hissed.
"Sorry, I didn't want to alert the guard." Prowl said.
"How did you even get in here?" Optimus asked, coming around to stand beside Prowl. The mech lifted an optic ridge and Optimus just shook his helm. "Nevermind, how are things?"
"Cybertron is becoming split." Prowl said. "The arrival of the Decepticons has caused panic and uncertainty but the Elite Guard and Council don't seem to want to calm that panic."
"You mean they are ignoring the civillians?" Optimus asked, abashed.
Prowl nodded. "From what I can see, Cybertron is split onto three groups: those who are scared and waiting, those who actually want peace and those who are becoming hostile." The ninjabot explained. "The hostile ones are mostly our generation, led by Sentinel Prime."
"Not surprising." Optimus ex-vented. "Our generation basically had 'Decepticons are Our Enemies' shoved down our intake. We never actually saw a warframe until Megatron returned."
"The oldest generation seem to want peace. I talked to a few if them and they seem to remember the days that warframes weren't surrounded with the stigma they have now." Prowl continued. "But so few are left, they don't speak up. The majority of the populace just want to wait and see, but will most likely side with Sentinel if it comes down to it."
Optimus gritted his denta. He knew this would happen. He knew the populace would be too afraid to speak up, but to think so many were willing to be hostile… Sentinel was becoming a danger to more than just himself.
"What is the Council and Ultra Magnus doing?" Optimus asked, holding out some hope.
"I had sneak into their meetings since they've locked themselves up in Fort Max." Prowl said. "They are split in their opinions as well: those who support Megatron being here and those who are preparing for war."
"War?!" Optimus exclaimed, throwing his servos up as he began to pace. "If they start a war here, how many civilians will get caught up in it? The entire reason the Decepticons left Cybertron was to prevent that!"
Optimus stopped his pacing and turned to Prowl, optic ridges furrowed. "What about Ultra Magnus? What is he saying?" He asked.
Prowl looked at Optimus. "He had said nothing."
"Nothing?!" Optimus shouted. "He's the Autobot Leader! How can he say nothing about this entire situation?"
"Because he has been focusing on other things." Prowl said. "He found something called Vector Sigma."
Optimus stared at Prowl with wide optics and quickly got closer, holding the ninjabot by his arms. "Prowl, where did you hear that?"
"Ultra Magnus was speaking to Sentinel and Rodimus about it in his office." Prowl explained. "But I haven't had time to look into it."
"Don't!" Optimus said sternly. "Don't look into Vector Sigma!"
"Optimus." Prowl said as the grip on his shoulders became painful.
Optimus let go quickly and backed up. "I'm sorry!" He said, looking away in shame. "I shouldn't have lost my cool but please Prowl, do not mention Vector Sigma to anyone, no matter who it is."
"Do I get a reason why?" Prowl questioned.
"It's better if you don't know." Optimus said.
"I'll have to follow the trail if you want me to figure out what Ultra Magnus intends to do." Prowl explained.
"You don't have to follow it." Optimus told him. "Just keep an audial fin out for them finding a Key."
Prowl nodded and looked at the door. "I should leave, somebot is coming."
"Stay safe, Prowl." Optimus said.
The ninjabot vanished and just kliks later, the door opened and Megatron entered. Optimus had expected Lugnut since he hadn't exactly been quiet so he was caught off guard. Trying to right himself, he forced a smile at the warlord.
"You're back early." Optimus said carefully.
Megatron glanced around the room before focusing on Optimus. He had no idea how Prowl got in and put but he hoped Megatron wouldn't notice.
The warlord stepped closer and placed a large servo on Optimus' shoulder pauldron. "Are you alright?" Megatron asked. "Lugnut heard you shouting."
Optimus froze, his frame locking and chassis tight. The information he learned from Prowl, the state of Cybertron outside of Kaon, Vector Sigma, they were all so important. He needed to tell him, he had to speak up… But he was an Autobot. He was supposed to support Ultra Magnus…
Optimus looked up at Megatron and smiled. "Nothing is wrong."
Megatron frowned, optics dimming as he stared down at Optimus. Removing is servo, Megatron moved pass him. "Is that so."
His words were heavy and felt like stabs to Optimus' chassis. When the door to the berthroom closed behind him, Optimus fell to his stabilizer joints and covered his helm with his servos.
He'd lied.
He'd lied to Megatron.
He'd lied to the first bot to ever treat him like an equal.
The mech who'd done so much to prove himself to not be the monster Optimus had learned he was.
But he was an Autobot.
He was here on orders!
Yes they were Bonded, but he was a spy!
Megatron knew he was a spy!
He was doing his job!
So why did it hurt so much to lie? Why did he feel so bad at how disappointed Megatron was? Why?
The next cycle did not bring much comfort to Optimus. Megatron did not speak to him at all and the silence as Hadeen rose was heavy. Even their morning training session was left silent aside from the clashing of their weapons and the occasional grunt.
But Megatron was clearly upset. His strikes were harsher and faster and Optimus felt like he was taking on a raging beast. At the end of the session, Optimus was on the ground, ex-venting hard and Megatron stood above him, anger burning in his optics. Without a word, the Warlord turned and left, leaving Optimus behind to be buried by his thoughts. Or at least Optimus wanted to do that.
Lugnut noticed his injuries and decided to carry Optimus post haste to the medbay. Ratchet was ready to give him a stern lecture about sparing with Megatron when ne noticed the expression on Optimus' faceplate.
"Alright, all of you get out." Ratchet snapped, glaring at Lugnut, Hook and Deadlock. The first two back up but Deadlock pushed his luck until he got a wrench to the faceplate. Closing the curtain, Ratchet turned back to Optimus and began to work on his dents. "What's on yer mind, kid?"
Optimus bit his derma but spoke softly. "Prowl showed up last night." He said.
"So he's still alive, thats good." Ratchet said. "What did he tell ya?"
"Cybertron is split on how to handle the Decepticons, even the Council." Optimus said.
"And what is the Magnus doing?" Ratchet grunted.
Optimus hesitated, he knew Ratchet was more privy to information since he was a war vet, but he didn't want to burden the old mech. "I- I think he wants to awaken Fortress Maximus." He whispered.
Ratchet froze and looked up Optimus with a disgruntled expression. He went back to patching up a rather big gash on Optimus' shoulder pauldron. He frowned deeply as he spoke. "That's a serious accusation." Ratchet said. "What makes you think he'd go that far?"
"Prowl informed me that they were looking for something thay only us Primes know about." Optimus said. "I can't tell you what, but I also can't think of anything else Ultra Magnus would be doing."
"Don't tell me stuff I don't need to know." Ratchet scolded. "What about Prowl, ain't he in danger looking into all of this?"
"I told him to ignore it and to keep watching the state of Cybertron." Optimus said. There was no way he was putting Prowl in danger, after working so hard to gain the trust of the ninjabot.
"Good." Ratchet said. He shook his helm as he finished cleaning out the gash. "I can't believe Magnus would risk his position like this though."
"I honestly don't know what he's thinking." Optimus admitted.
"But that isn't why you're so depressed. Or more depressed than normal." Ratchet said. "Spill kid."
"I-I didn't tell Megatron anything but I'm pretty sure he knows I was talking to somebot." Optimus said quickly.
"Kid you're here as a spy, even if legally you and him are bonded." Ratchet reminded him. "You're doing your job."
"Then why does it feel.. so-so wrong?" Optimus looked at Ratchet with pleading optics.
Ratchet let out an ex-vent and crossed his servos over his chassis. "Kid, a lot of stuff had happened this past vorn. I can't deny that these cons have been treating us pretty good but that doesn't change the situation we're in. Megatron knows you're here as a spy and he shouldn't be getting so upset about you doing your job as one if he hasn't said anything about it!" Ratchet snapped as he gestured to the injuries Optimus had gained that morning.
"Magnus gave you a reason to break the bonding, didn't he?" Ratchet asked.
"He said he had a plan…" Optimus admitted, looking away. "But this isn't just about me…"
"Kid…"
"Ratchet, it's not. You guys are involved too! I'm your leader, I'm responsible for all of you!" Optimus exclaimed. "And Bumblebee and Bulkhead are happy here! They're finally getting the respect and recognition they deserve!"
"And so are you." Ratchet added.
Optimus stopped and looked at Ratchet with a frown. "That's not important." He said quickly. "If I go back to Iacon, would they and you be able to stay here and live as comfortably as you are now?"
"Most likely not." Ratchet stated bluntly. "In all honesty, it sounds like a war will happen if you go back ."
"I can't let that happen." Optimus said.
"Optimus, listen to me, I've known you for a few hundred deca cycles now and I know how you are." Ratchet explained. "Isn't it about time you think about yourself for once?"
Optimus looked at his flabbergasted so Ratchet just continued. "I've watched you get tossed around by the Elite Guard since you were a cadet and despite everything, you Bonded yourself with the slagmaker himself without so much as a complaint. You've even been courteous to the slagger and have learned everything you can." Ratchet stared Optimus in the optic as he spoke. "Over the last month, I've come to realize that his cons really do want peace and compromise and don't want to fight anymore, which is a lot more than I can say for our own. I've known some of these mech before they became cons and most just got the short end of the stick in life.
"What I'm trying to say is, you're happy here. I've never seen you so happy and comfortable. For pits sake you practically beam whenever Megatron speaks with you." Ratchet scratched the back of his helm. "You could just side with him on all of this."
"But what if a war starts because I decided to side with him?" Optimus asked. "What if civillian lives are lost because of my decision?"
"So what if they are?" Ratchet snapped. "Why should they matter to you?"
"I'm a Prime Ratchet! It's my duty to protect them!" Optimus snapped back.
"You were kicked out of the academy before you even graduated! You're barely a Prime anymore!" Ratchet retorted.
"But I can't just leave bots go die in a pointless war if I can do something to stop it!" Optimus argued, clenching his servos tight.
"Then what do you plan to do?" Ratchet asked. "How do you plan to fix a planet thats been broken for millions of stellar cycles?"
"I-I don't know…" Optimus said, looking down in shame.
"Then figure it out before you go around saying you'll save everybot." Ratchet huffed.
Optimus hesitated but nodded and got off the medical berth. Without looking back, he pushed the curtain aside and left.
Optimus ended up wandering the tower aimlessly. He had no true goal, he didn't want to go back to the habsuite but he also really didn't want to talk to anyone. He also didn't have any shanix to go to the bar which left him going where his stabilizers took him.
Which almost took him straight into a bunch of rubber cement.
"Bossbot don't step there!"
Bumblebee popped out from behind a large seating set just in time to stop Optimus from getting stuck. Noticing the off-white paste smeared on the tile, he took a few steps back and turned to Bumblebee.
"What is this?" He asked, gesturing to the mess.
Bumblebee began to shove him behind the seats, gesturing for Lugnut to follow. "It's a prank!" Bumblebee examined with a childish grin.
"WHO ARE YOU PRANKING LITTLE AUTOBOT?" Lugnut asked.
"Shhh! Breakdown will hear you!" Bumblebee snapped.
"He's going to hear you too." Optimus reminded Bumblebee. The little bot covered his intake with his servos. "Why are you pranking a Decepticon?"
"I'm bored." Bumblebee said, turning his attention back to the hall.
"What happened to training?" Optimus questioned.
"It's break time." Bumblebee answered. He peeked out a little before quickly ducking down and getting the two larger mechs to do the same. The sound of someone coming down the hall came and after a few nano-kliks came some low cursing. Bumblebee jumped out of his hiding place, spotted the mech he was targeting and let out a laugh. "Got you!"
"Bumblebee!" Brrakdown shouted. His stabilizer was stuck tight in the rubber cement and it was clear he wasn't amused.
Unlike Bumblebee who continued to laugh is gasket off. "You got caught so easily!" The small bot laughed as he got closer.
"Very funny, now get this off." Breakdown growled.
Bumblebee gave a very knowing grin and transformed, zooming down the hallway and out of sight. Breakdown stared after the prankster before he easily broke the floor tile around his stuck stabilizer and chased after him. Optimus and Lugnut watched them go before looking at each other and then back to the hall.
"I think we should make sure Bumblebee doesn't get himself killed." Optimus ex-vented as he got up and followed afterwards.
"NOT LIKELY! BREAKDOWN HAS SOFT SPOT FOR YOUNG BOTS!" Lugnut explained but still followed after the consort. "HE WISHES TO HAVE SPARKLINGS OF HIS OWN!"
Optimus was a bit surprised by that. He hadn't expected warframes to want to be caretakers or have soft spots for young bots. But then again, Strika seemed to have a soft spot for Bumblebee too.
They ended up being led to a part of the tower that Optimus didn't recognize. Doors were open and the outsides decorated with signs of different styles. Based on what Optimis saw, they seemed to be shops. He watched Breakdown disappear into a shop with red and black paint. The sign read 'Knockout's Detailing'.
Optimus walked in and found a somewhat gaudy but not distasteful decor. The walls were painted, lights hung up around, a single berth was in the center, padded lightly. Several shelves and tables, filled with ink of a variety of pigments filled the walls. Next to a table was Bumblebee, hiding behind the small red mech that had done Optimus' bonding paint. Breakdown towered over the two much smaller bots, but he didn't seem threatening.
"Come on darling, it was a small prank." Knockout said, failing to hide a snicker behind clawed digits.
"It's stuck to my pede." Breakdown complained, gesturing to the floor tile that was in fact stuck to his pede by the rubber cement.
"And I can get it off with ease." Knockout cooed, patting the cheekplate of the warframe.
Breakdown got flustered at the affection and Bumblebee laughed at his flushed faceplate. Breakdown leaned down and picked up Bumblebee by the scruff as Knockout vanished into another room.
"You better behave while Knockout does this." Breakdown scolded and pointed a digit at Bumblebee. Said bot gave him a shrug but bounced out of the way when Knockout came back with some vials.
"Why don't you go and hang out with the Consort." Knockout mentioned, gesturing towards Optimus who awkwardly waited by himself near the entrance.
"OH! Bossbot you came too!" Bumblebee waved and went to Optimus with a wide grin.
"This is Knockout, he's a detailer here and a racer!" Bumblebee explained. "He's awesome and always down for a race! Though he doesn't like racing with the other cons."
"Those mechs are way too rough." Knockout scolded. Breakdown was on the berth now, sitting with his compromised stabilizer stretched out for the red mech. "I'd damage my finish racing with them."
Mixing some oils, Knockout carefully brushed it onto the rubber cement. Optimus watched in surprise as the cement began to crumble away until Breakdown could break free. The tiles shattered to the ground, breaking into many pieces.
"Look what you did." Knockout scolded.
"Sorry." Breakdown looked down at the mess sheepishly. He remined Optimus a bit of Bulkhead.
"Oh you're fine." Knockout cooed. He turned to Bumblebee and pointed to the mess. "Mind cleaning up the mess you made, sweetie?"
"Fine!" Bumblebee said, stretching out the word as he went to grab a vacuum that was hanging on the wall.
Knockout and Breakdown moved next to Optimus to give the small bot space to clean. Optimus was shocked at Bumblebee listening to them and turned to Kncokout.
"How did you get him to listen?" Optimus asked. "He never listens when it comes to chores!"
Knockout gave Optimus a smirk. "This little one started pranking his mates in the training hall a few cycles ago and it became messy. Word is Strika spoke with him and since then he still pranks us, but he cleans up what he started." Breakdown explained.
"I wonder what she said." Optimus pondered.
"I don't know, but Bumblebee seems to like her a lot. He gets annoying but none of the other warframes dislike him." Breakdown said. "I think he is getting his energy out properly."
"Racers like us are the ones that come closest to warframes in terms of energy." Knockout explained. "We get anxious when we can't drive and can get short tempered and unreasonable. If we get that energy out of us, we tend to calm down a lot."
"Now that you mention it, Bumblebee doesn't seem to be vibrating in place anymore." Optimus noted. Said bot was still cleaning up some shards that had managed to get under a shelf.
"All of us have different frames and we all need to
different outlets." Knockout spoke, watching Bumblebee with a careful optic. "You can't change that aspect of us. A pretty truckbot like you must have something you do to let off all of your steam."
Optimus flushed and scratched his cheekplate a bit. "We pull." He said.
"How much can you pull?" Breakdown asked, intrigue in his tone.
"Two hundred tons." Optimus said. He hadn't pulled since he was a cadet and honestly it had been strange being the only bot in his class doing that exercise.
"That's impressive!" Breakdown said.  "Warfram6ws are good at carrying loads but pulling is more difficult. We just don't have the axel strength for it!"
"Really?" Optimus asked. "I've always figured you guys had strength to do anything."
"No, no! I mean yeah there are bots who can pull real well but even warframes have things they can't do!" Breakdown explained. "No one can outrun a racer on the ground."
"Of course!" Bumblebee and Knockout said in unison.
"Seekers are the quickest in the skies but I've heard Shuttles are even bigger than us." Breakdown said.
"What's a Shuttle?" Bumblebee asked.
"They're a flier class that are said to be even bigger than warframes." Breakdown explained. "They are very rare and I heard they died out during the war."
"So Decepticons can get even bigger?" Bumblebee pondered.
"Shuttles were Autobots, sweetie." Knockout said. Bumblebee stated at him wide opticed and the red racer chuckled. "You'll chip your paint with an expression like that.
"Though speaking of paint, someone needs a buffing and new paint." Knockout pointed a digit at Optimus, his optics tracing the welded gash that Megatron had left him. "Big M did this to you, didn't he?"
"We were training." Optimus said, covering the wound with his servo.
"You two got into a fight." Knockout pressed. "Or something similar. Big M was in a sour mood today, only you could have gotten him like that!"
"It wasn't a fight." Optimus corrected. "It was just…"
"Jusf?" Knockout grinned.
"None of your business." Optimus said defensively.
Knockout booed but didn't press. "Well you should probably get going, I don't know how long that idiot outside can wait." Knockout gestured to the bulking form of Lugnut who was outside his shop.
Optimus finally noticed that Lugnut hadn't entered the shop and glanced back at Knockout. "Why didn't he come in?"
"I think he's scared of me." Knockout grinned, sharp claws tapping his chinplate.
Optimus felt a shiver run up his backstrut and he mentally wondered what the detailer did to Lugnut. He decided not to question it and instead said his goodbyes. Lugnut trailed after him as he left and made his way back down the hall.
"LITTLE CONSORT IS UNHARMED? THE PUNY DETAILER IS NOT TO BE MESSED WITH!" Lugnut bellowed.
"He didn't touch me." Optimus said. He found it weird that he was trying to reassure a Decepticon.
Lately he'd been doing a lot of things that were weird. An entire vorn had passed, he thought he'd know where he stood in this place, know what he'd do when the three vorns were up. But now his processor was confused, his emotions were all over the place and his sense of duty felt like a weight. Optimus clenched his servos.
Repairing spacebridges didn't sound so bad right now.

Rise of The Beasts: Five reasons to go see the movie!
Transformers: Rise of The Beasts is our seventh Transformers film, directed by Steven Caple Jr. The film is a part of the reboot universe set up by the prior film, Bumblebee. In fact, the film events are set in the 90s, a decade after Bumblebee.
Reason 5: A sequel to the buzzworthy Bumblebee's solo film
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Let's be honest here, folks? Everyone loves Bumblebee.
Growing up, Bumblebee was everyone's favorite when I was a kid. People adored him because of his adorable way of speaking. He communicated with his radio, which made him quite expressive in dialogue.
Bumblebee was also a trained combatant In the original films. Bumblebee took down deceptions like it was nothing. In every scene he demonstrated something new to the fans.
Bumblebee's rising popularity led him to get more toys than Optimus Prime. Finally, his popularity led him to get a feature film on his own. The film garnered positive reception from both newcomers and the Transformers fans.
After the disastrous reputation of the fifth film, Bumblebee rose to new heights. He helped restore faith in the films and generate interest. Bumblebee's film has helped light the way for Transformers: Rise of The Beasts.
Reason 4: A cast of fan-favorites that can't be missed.
Tumblr media
The current cast of characters combines two separate groups. On one hand, you have Optimus Prime's rag-tag band of Autobots. On the other hand, you have Optimus Primal's cast of animalistic heroes; the Maximals.
I am looking forward to seeing how both casts can be integrated. I at least hope that the maximals manage to get speaking lines. Their personalities in the cartoons were fun and dynamic. I want that to be reflected for a new generation to see.
There are some roles that interest me in the series. Pete Davidson is playing the Autobot Mirage. From what I have heard of Mirage, he sounds like the new kid-appeal character of the movie. Much like Bumblebee, he's the one that kids will like.
Then there's Ron Perlman as the maximal Optimus Primal. I am familiar with Ron Perlman's work. He was Hellboy in the live-action films. He also lent his voice to Deathstroke in Teen Titans, and The Lich in Adventure Time respectively.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time he's voiced Primal. He first voiced Primal in a web-animation series called Transformers: Power of The Primes. His voice sounds similar, but it has improved since then.
Lastly, I look forward to seeing Michelle Yeoh as Airazor. In Beast Wars, Airazor was one of two female characters in the series. She had a dry sense of humor but was brave and adventurous. In addition, she deeply loved Tigatron, and he felt the same.
I saw Michelle Yeoh in Everything Everywhere All at Once. The visuals and the fight scenes won me over at first. However, what I realized is that Yeoh shined in the movie. The emotion that she brought to the film is beautiful. I hope that she can channel that power with Airazor.
Reason 3: You cannot destroy Unicron's destiny
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you are a Transformers fan? Then you probably already know of the big man himself.
The deeper you look into Transformers lore, the more you find the weirdest things. Unicron is the chaos bringer, a devourer of worlds not unlike Galactus from Marvel Comics. He destroys entire worlds, absorbing their lifeforce into his own.
Unicron is also the fated enemy of the Transformers series. He's like the final boss of the franchise as a whole. This is because he is the polar opposite of Primus, his twin brother. Unicron dreams of killing him, and this is why he wants to destroy Cybertron; Because Primus is Cybertron.
When it comes to voice actors, no one has done it better since Orson Welles. A well-renowned filmmaker, he is well known for narrating a radio adaptation of H.G. Wells' War of The Worlds. Orson himself did not care for the role. It was the last character he voiced, and he still put effort into voicing the character.
Now, Rise of The Beasts plans to bring Unicron back to the silver screen. He is the looming threat of the movie, which warrants a team-up between the Maximals and Autobots. This is his first live-action debut after he was teased in The Last Knight.
Colman Domingo will be providing the voice for our lord of chaos. He's received many accolades for his numerous roles. In particular, he played Victor Strand in The Walking Dead. He also played a recovering drug addict in Euphoria, Ali.
I for one am excited to see the type of energy he will bring.
Reason 2: Beast Wars is one of the best Transformers series ever!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is one of the best Transformers series of all time.
No, really.
Beast Wars first aired in 1996, kicking off a saga that redefined the Transformers mythos. Unsurprisingly, many long-time fans were skeptical of the series at first. However, Beast Wars proved itself to be a valuable addition to the franchise. It was a long-needed breath of fresh air after the Transformers series exhausted fans.
The series' core premise focuses on the future of the Transformers. The Autobots and Decepticons would eventually retire from the war. Both sides would sign a peace treaty known as the Pax Cybertronia.Cyb
In their place, a new war begins between their descendants, the Maximals and Predacons. The story opens with a gunfight between both sides in space. The conflict sends them crashing onto a prehistoric Earth.
Since its inception, Beast Wars introduced plenty of original concepts for the franchise. It introduced the idea of the "spark", a transformers' soul. It also brought in the concept of "protoforms", the blank slate of a Cybertronian.
What I love about Rise of The Beasts is that it combines the best parts of both worlds. We get the cinematic scale of the movies at the forefront. Deeper than that, however, is also the themes and ideas taken from Beast Wars.
My only issue with Rise of The Beasts is that a certain purple dinosaur is missing. It feels weird to have a movie inspired by Beast Wars, and not include the Predacons. As much as they had their comedic hijinks, they proved to be a formidable threat for the maximals.
Reason 1: Peter Cullen's Optimus can't be missed
Tumblr media
One of the things that I love about the movies is that they brought the original voices back. Peter Cullen is one of many voices that helped inspire a generation. He's the leader of the Autobots, a father to his men who stands against tyranny.
Honestly, Optimus Prime to me represents a lot of what Superman is. They are both people who do good and stand for what's right. Their symbols serve as inspirations for fans all over the world.
I am excited to see Optimus Prime make his appearance in Rise of The Beasts. I look forward to seeing more people become fans of him now.
Rise of The Beasts: The big event!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love Transformers, and it's definitely in my top three favorite franchises. I am so stoked to go see the film. This film is just the start of a new trilogy. Even if the film is not good, I still have hopes that it will at least be fun.
Overall, these are just my reasons for wanting to see the film. This has been House of Milesverse, and I hope you had fun. For our next post, we'll be talking about everyone's Star-Spangled superhero, Stargirl!

Hello! I saw you wanted to have requests coming to you and I wanted to give you that request! Of course you dont have to, but here we go!
I was thinking Transformers Prime Optimus, Ratchet, and Ultra Magnus reacting to Female Human being heavily bullied like a fight happened. I would like to see their over protective reactions when they just came over to pick them up from work like a normal day.
You may add or subtract to this idea I do not mind anything you do! I just wanted to give you some ideas! Hopefully you are doing ok and have fun!
ahh tysm for the ask im excited to be doing this again :D i haven’t watched tfp in a hot second but i still love these characters ❤️
(platonic) TFP Optimus, Ratchet, and Ultra Magnus reactions to human reader in a fight
warnings: reader uses she/her pronouns, reader is a minor (platonic relationship), implied violence, minor injury
Optimus Prime
Its rare that optimus is able to pick you up from school, though he tries to as often as possible
he’s just so busy, but he always tries to make time for you. he holds a very strong belief that the Autobots should maintain a close relationship with their humans, and hes no exception
and hes done well with that, hed even consider you a friend. a close one.
so when you step into his cab with your head down, and only hum at his greeting, hes worried.
very worried
he’s aware of the bullying. he’s allowed you to talk, and encouraged you to, while he works on his data pads. it upsets him a great deal, but there’s little he can do
he knows little about human children and how horrible some teenagers can be at times
ultimately, he’s upset, borderline angry when he sees the scuffs on your face and the bruising on your chin.
he doesn’t know much about humans to begin with, much less about comfort in general. but he’ll be damned if he doesn’t try his best.
“(y/n),” Optimus starts. “Are you feeling alright?”
He hadn’t yet seen the cuts and bruises on your face, and you’d like to keep it that way.
You’re head rests on his window, “Can we just go?”
Optimus stays silent for a moment, slightly shocked at your sudden and aggressive tone. “Of course.”
Much of the ride is silent as he searches for the right words. He already knows what has happened, or at least he’s assumed. These “bullies”, “deceptions in human skin” as Ratchet had called them during one of their late night discussions.
You sniffle, and Optimus is pulled from his thoughts.
“(y/n),” Optimus says. He pauses once more, “Are you… alright?”
Of course not. You’re crying, you’re hurt. Of course you’re not alright! But what else is he to say? He’s clueless how to help you, but he can’t just let you be. Not right now.
“M’fine,” you choke out, and clear your throat. And more clearly, “I’m sorry, yeah, I’m fine. Don’t worry about it.”
Optimus activates his holoform in the seat beside you. “I would not be your guardian if I did not worry… I know it was them. Please, look at me.”
As you raise your head, he catches sight of the extent of your injury, and he can feel the anger begin to rise. But he keeps quiet, and makes eye contact.
Optimus sighs quietly, and pulls to the side of the empty, long road. He turns to look at you again, contemplating.
“Would you like to talk about it?”
And it’s your turn to pause and think. The tears well in your eyes. Optimus silently opens his arms in welcome, and you accept the hug.
Ratchet
much like optimus, ratchet is a busy mech. often times he has bumblebee pick you up for him, being too engrossed in his own work to bother stepping away
it also took him a long time to find out about the bullying. he finds it easier to focus with silence, talking and music only disrupts his peace and makes it difficult for him to work. thus, you couldn’t talk to him about it for a while
but being a field medic, and the (now) sole medic of the autobots isn’t just about physical injury. it’s mental aswell, and the signs of unrest and upset are clear as day to him
when you step into his cab, he assumes you’re just being “a teenager”, as he’s heard june refer to it many times before with jack.
“What’s the matter with you?” Ratchet grunts. “Ow, watch it!”
The door to his passenger seat slams, and the cab rocks as you slump against the door aggressively. Ratchet grumbles something about “children” and pulls out of the school lot.
Ratchet’s holoform is activated, as to avoid suspicion from human locals. A quick glance in your direction morphs to a worried stare. Your shaking is a little difficult to ignore. And then it clicks for him.
“What did they say?” Ratchet spoke softly, just loud enough for you to hear him. He’s not upset at you for slamming the door, not right now.
“Nothing,” you mutter. “… they jumped me.”
“What..?” Ratchet exhales in consternation. He’s commonly referred to such people as “deceptions in human skin”. He had once been exaggerating, however, he’s becoming more convinced.
Ratchet stops on the side of a disused road on the way to the base, and his holoform exits.
“Get out, in the back. I have tools back here.”
He’s not a talker. By any means. But he cares, in his own way.
Ultra Magnus
Magnus has an even slimmer understanding of humans than ratchet
and, yet again, is extremely busy
he really only picks you up because optimus told him to. not because he doesn’t like you, no, he does, but because he is busy.
reports are constantly being written and missions devised
he’s the type to recommend either 1. being the bigger person, walking away and ignoring it or 2,
fighting them
straight up. he’s a rule follower, but when he eventually hears ratchet talking about it, he sees it in a different light. he would only encourage fighting however, if they’ve attacked you first
so when you step into the cab, clearly roughed up, he already has a question in mind
“Did you win?”
It startles you. “What?”
“Did you win?” Ultra Magnus repeats. “The fight.”
You don’t say anything, and Magnus puffs. He wants to scold you, to ridicule you like a soldier. It’s first instinct to him, but he refrains. For your sake.
His holoform flickers into existence as he reaches the highway, and he reaches over.
“Let me see.”
He holds your face in his hand as he drives, turning you side to side and observing the forming bruises.
“They roughed you up good, huh?” Magnus hums. “You’re tough. You’ll make it.”
You’re not amused, nor has he made you feel better at all. Slapping his hand away, you slump further into your seat and cross your arms.
A silence falls over the cab. Not exactly comfortable, but you don’t really care.
“Do I need to inform June?” He tries again. He does feel bad, but he’s not exactly the talking type. He’s a fighter, built for it and raised in it. But he’s trying, and that’s what matters.
You shake your head, and hum a no.
Another silence, and he glances at your reddened fists.
“How hard’d you hit ‘em?”
This pulls a half smile from you. “Like a truck.”
Ultra Magnus chuckles lightly, “Atta’ girl.”

How do you think Megatron would react when he finally admits to himself he has feelings for an organic?
Man, I love writing Megatron in love. Headcanons/scenario below the cut, thanks for the request; enjoy!
I feel like Megatron would try to ignore it at first, just like he would with feelings for another Cybertronian, but much, much worse.
Organic aside, relationships aren’t really something he believes are meant for him. He’s a Decepticon leader, he can’t show weakness, and if he dares to get close to someone, there’s a good chance that they could be used against him. So generally speaking, he keeps his distance.
But then you come along.
You have a bad interaction with the Autobots; one of them accidentally wrecks your house in a battle and offers you no compensation or even another place to say, only apologizing before running off, so you do some research on Cybertronians, find out about the Decepticons, and somehow do enough digging to find their base.
Megatron is shocked when you show up one day and pledge your allegiance to him and to the Decepticon cause, but when you explain your reasoning, he can tell that you’re genuine; Autobots are martyr-complex-having, inconsiderate fools who do what they can to look good and act like they’re doing ‘right’, their council is a bunch of stuck up pricks who don’t allow anyone to be an individual or have freedom, and they all act like they’re a working part of a system instead of their own mech/femme with an actual personality. Megatron is kinda like... yeah, okay, whatever. He almost tries to blow you off, but Shockwave and Soundwave argue that you could reveal some weaknesses that the humans have and that you’re an unthreatening enough figure that you could be used as a productive spy. So, he keeps you around and gives you a place to stay on base.
At first, he acts indifferent towards you; you’re a gross, human fleshbag that he wants nothing to do with outside of work, but he sees that you and Soundwave get along since you share a lot of the same ideals about humans needing to do their own work instead of relying on robots to do it for them, and you and Shockwave are actually quite friendly. Hell, you and Lugnut and Blitzwing even make a great trio. So, indirectly, without even realizing it at first, Megatron becomes fond of you through observing your conversations with the others. You’re respectable, brave, bold, honest, and you’re fully self-aware. He finds that, unlike the other humans, he doesn’t mind you; you don’t see him or his cause as evil and actually treat him with respect, and you don’t run or cower or act shy around him either- that shit gets on his nerves.
He knows it’s a bad idea, but he starts talking to you personally. In his berth room, you two exchange intel you’ve collected, and afterwards, you always hang around for an hour or so for in-depth discussions, about your lives and dreams and hopes and philosophies. He frequently finds himself sharing ancient data tablets containing Decepticon works of literature on them with you, and eventually, the two of you have/develop a lot in common.
Not all humans are gross like he thought they were initially, he realizes... In fact, though he’d never say so out loud, you smell nice and the few fleeting touches he’s had with you are always pleasant because of how warm and soft you are.
The first time he thinks about the rapid pace of the relationship the two of you have cultivated and about his feelings for you is after you’re injured. Your cover as a spy gets blown and surprisingly enough, you mention to escape Optimus Prime and the other four members of his team, but you come back sustaining some rough cuts/gashes from when Prowl chucked his shuriken at your clothes to try to pin you to the wall with them; they’re all along your arms, legs, and a few even managed to graze your sides.
You return to the base bloodied and beaten from their attempts to detain you, and though Soundwave and Shockwave (who are easily your best friends at that point) insist that they’re fully capable of handling your medical care, Megatron realizes that he wants to do it himself- doesn’t know why he wants to do it, just knows that he does and that no one is going to stop him. So, he takes you to the med bay and uses the small amount of human medical equipment they obtained for you to disinfect your wounds as you walk him through the process verbally, stitches the ones that need stitching, and wraps/bandages them. It involves you being half-clothed, and though he certainly isn’t going to ogle you like a pervert, he can’t help how his intake hitches at being so close to you when you’re so exposed and vulnerable. It just feels very intimate, and it’s something he’s not used to; no one has dared touch him in thousands of years outside of battle, nor has he touched another outside of such context.
You have to stay in the med bay overnight so that your vitals can be monitored and you can have your dressings changed and antibiotics given to you to prevent your wounds from getting infected. Megatron is also sure to give you painkillers if you need them and keep you well-fed/hydrated so you can heal properly.
He stays by your side while you sleep even though he doesn’t need to, watching you. He can’t help but think about how fascinating it is that your body is so fragile, so prone to bloody injuries when even slightly harmed, but you’re so strong and determined and courageous; completely dedicating yourself to his work, his cause, him when you didn’t have to. Part of that was out of your spite and dislike for the Autobots, but he admired that, too. You uprooted your entire life to come help him and the Decepticons, and even though he didn’t dare say something so kind out loud, he couldn’t help but appreciate you. Him taking care of you was just paying it forward.
You sleep peacefully, chest rising and falling with every breath you take and (s/c) cheeks dusted red. Occasionally, you’ll toss and turn, but at one point, you reach out for his servo in your sleep, so he takes your hand and holds it tight. If anyone ever saw him so tender and weak, he’d be done for, but you were asleep, so he figured it was fine- no one needed to know how much he loved you, not even you.
Oh.
Oh no. He loved you. As fate would have it, it all crashed down on him at once as he sat there, holding your hand. He had gone from assuming you were some disgusting human bag of flesh he wanted nothing to do with, to begrudgingly accepting you to help his cause, to respecting you, to befriending you, to... Falling in love with you. What terrible luck... Maybe it was his punishment for terrorizing organics for so many years, that he just so happened to fall in love with one.
The second he realizes it, he can’t deny it. You recover from your injuries well with Megatron by your side assisting you, but the more time he spends around you, the worse his feelings get, and he’s old enough that he’s not the kind of fool who pushes his feelings away. Instead, he wallows in them, bathes in them, drowns in them, and he drowns in you. It’s really horrible that he, a being so large and powerful and responsible for mass destruction, is so enamored with you, a being so small and delicate and honest. You’re an unfortunate soul, and if you love him back, it’s even worse.
It comes out naturally one of the nights that you’re locked up in his room together discussing some Decepticon poetry you read recently. It was one of his favorite works, and you seemed like you’d enjoyed it, too. Silence falls between you for a moment before he says, “I love you, (y/n). I never thought I’d stoop as low as to fall for an organic, but you’re the only one worth falling for, and Primus, have I fallen.”. The atmosphere doesn’t go tense or awkward, and you only smile up at him, putting the data tablet with the poem on it down on his night table before turning to him.
“And I thought I’d never fall for the leader of an alien robot rebellion, but here I am, and you’re worth falling for, too.”
It’s peaceful, nothing heated or tense but tender and relaxing as he pulls you into his arms and holds you close to him... Maybe being in love with an organic wasn’t so bad, after all.

Prime Missing~ TFP! Optimus x Half-Predacon! Reader *Request*
Requested by the lovely CreatorCat
Plot: Hi there! Could I please request a TFP Optimus x half Cybertronian and half Predacon female Autobot reader? Only Optimus knows she is like that. Her Predacon form is a dragon and her vehicle form is a mustang car (Wildstyle colors from Lego Movie). Her fighting style is dancing (dance fighting, usually coordinated with music only she can hear in her earpiece, unpredictable). It takes place during Beast Wars where they meet Ultra Magnus. Optimus goes missing and the reader is very upset because she has a crush on the Prime.
Ultra Magnus grows a crush on her after seeing her fight in battle. He is concerned she'll get hurt because her style doesn't fall into the protocol and can't be monitored. He forbids her from joining the ranks in battle until she 'shaded up'. The reader is devasted and falls into sort of depression because that she wouldn't be able to dance or fight anymore and that was what she lived for. Optimus returns (finally) to find his crush (the reader) not herself anymore. They have been 'broken' and fight the way that Ultra Magnus saw fit. He's horrified because this wasn't 'his Y/N' and confronted Ultra Magnus. Afterward, Optimus takes the reader aside and confesses and she smiles for the first time in 'forever'. The next battle she's in, she breaks protocol and does her original style of fighting much to everyone's happiness (except Ultra Magnus). She also reveals her Predacon side to protect everyone from the Decepticons and Predaking.
What do you think?
That's a long request ever since I got a request to write a high school version. Lol. So, I read the entire text here and began to think. Do not think it is a bad way. I absolutely love the request but however, I don't like a few things. I'm not familiar with Beast Wars at all. I know only like literally one character and that is Optimal Primal. He is in fact the new Prime in Power of the Primes after Optimus' death. Don't believe me? Watch the 10 episodes or follow the OC book that I'm working on since I'm partnered up with Alita-One and others on Quotev. Furtonaly, I don't like Beast Wars at all since it's different. I also couldn't help but cringe a bit since it's TFP playing in Beast Wars. I remember some clips and scenes where Optimus actually goes missing after the base got exploded and Ultra Magnus appearing. I also remember Predacon's Rising.
Also since I don't like hurting other lovely characters (either rejected or friend-zoned), I made Ultra Magnus different. He'll be not crushing on the reader, but don't worry, he'll get tasted with his own medicine. Revenge will arrive.

-------------------------------------
"Jack, meet Ultra Magnus," Arcee introduced her human partner to the missing commander of the Autobots.
Jack looked shocked as he took a look at Ultra Magnus. He was light blue while Optimus was dark blue. The commander had a strict look on his faceplate. What was his problem? Sure, there was a war still going on because since Cybertron, the home planet of the Cybertronians, including the Autobots, Decepticons, and the Predacons, was dead so the idiotic Decepticons moved the war towards Earth when they discovered that the Autobots had been hiding there. Honestly, Megatron was too evil and stupid for actually settling the war on Earth. Earth! The planet was involved in many wars already, especially WWI and WWII.
But let's get to the point: what's been happening?
Well, the Decepticons discovered where the Autobots had been hiding. Before it got blown up, Optimus ordered everyone to leave the base and a serious warning: don't use the phone to call or send anything. If they do, then the Decepticons can track your signal, which can lead a serious danger. Jack went with Arcee, Miko with Bulkhead, and finally Raf with Bumblebee. Eventually, the base got exploded. Optimus got seriously wounded that Smokescreen found him. He was a smart rookie for hiding him so that Optimus can possibly heal and be safely hidden. Sadly, the damage was too much that Optimus was slowly offlining. He didn't want to leave, especially not Y/N. She was a half-Predacon and half-Cybertronian. She was an Autobot. So, it means that Y/N's carrier or sire was a Predacon while the other was Cybertronian. She was found wounded in a forest by Optimus and he took her to the Autobots base. Poor Y/N... She remembered how scared she was when she was there. I mean, she was wounded, lost on Earth, and didn't know anyone. She lost her creators thanks to the war. She eventually learned fast how to take care of herself.
When Optimus met her, he couldn't help but thought that Y/N was a unique and beautiful femme he'd ever seen. I mean, she was half-Cybertronian and half-Predacon. He had seen full Predacons before like Predaking. Soon, he'll meet Darksteel and Skylynx who were brothers. Y/N had wings and a tail so she was very unique. She was thankful to fly and control her balance more. The human kids loved Y/N. Miko, of course, asked too many questions that at one point, Jack and Raf had to stop her since they noticed when Y/N got uncomfortable and scared.
But anyway, that all happened before the big explosion. Optimus grew in fact closer to Y/N that he was the only one at the base who Y/N trusted. She would stay by his side, help him and ask questions. Optimus gladly helped her whenever she was scared or asked questions. He also found her adorable in secret. He sometimes asked himself about her like her wings for example. Were they sensitive? Maybe they were? He will only know if he touched it. If Y/N ever allowed it.
While Y/N was with the Autobots, it didn't mean that she met everyone. She didn't meet Ultra Magnus at the time. He was a strict commander of the Autobots and was light blue and red. His vehicle was very similar to the Prime. His shoulderplates were weird, kinda. No disrespect. But oh boy, Y/N hated Magnus. When he saw her, he was only coldhearted and strict towards her. Y/N's fighting style was dancing but the commander didn't like it that he forbid her to do so. It was like this:
The Autobots just came back after a fight again with the Decepticons. The fight was brutal this time. Apparently, the Decepticons had a new 'weapon' and it was a full Predacon! It was a male and in fact, the ruler of the race when they went instinct many years ago thanks to Megatron himself. Shockwave managed to bring the king back from the dead. His name was Predaking. He was huge! After all, he was a male and a ruler. Since Y/N was half-Predacon, she actually can't transform. Some Cybertronians who were half-Predacons, couldn't actually transform. Some can, some couldn't. Y/N didn't mind that she couldn't transform. She liked how she looked, even having a Predacon tail and wings.
But everyone was wounded. Y/N fought against the male Predacon himself. Their fight was rough and they bit and clawed. But Y/N managed to trick him by dancing. Fighting was a little bit of dancing if you didn't know. You were moving and using your whole frame. It was exhausting for Y/N, but she won.
Ultra Magnus, however, didn't like her fighting style that he brought her into a private chamber. He closed the door and faced her, with his usual strict expression. "Soldier, I want you to change the style."
Y/N lifted her optical ridge up in confusion. What did the commander mean by that? Her armor? Her outgoing? What was it? "What do you mean?"
"Change your fighting style. Also, I forbid you from ever going to fight with us."
Y/N couldn't believe what she heard. Was he really serious? Was he going to forbid her from going out to fight? But what about Optimus Prime? He still wasn't found! He was missing ever since the big explosion that the Decepticons caused weeks ago. The human kids spread around together with their guardians and they weren't allowed to not use any technology or else the Decepticons will track them down. Jack, stupid enough, used his cellphone to text his mother that he was fine. It was understandable for a kid to text its parent to let them know that they were fine. But when it came to the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons, then it was important to listen to the advice.
Ultra Magnus simply left the private chamber, leaving the poor half-Predacon femme alone.
That's basically how it happened. Ever since that day, Y/N didn't come out a lot from her berthroom. She was very spark broken ever since the strict commander told her those words. He forbid her from searching Optimus, who was still missing at the moment. How could he say that? Y/N cared deeply for Optimus just like the entire team. He was their leader but also someone that would protect others and be willing to sacrifice his life.
Y/N would only recharge all day. She ate and drank of course but it wasn't a lot like she used. Basically, how a normal Cybertronian ate. If you didn't know, humans can die from broken hearts. It was in fact a Broken heart syndrome, also known as stress cardiomyopathy or takotsubo syndrome. It was very sad to have that like heart disease. Not only humans can have that syndrome but also Cybertronians, especially the Predacons, full or not. Y/N attracted that syndrome. Everyone says that action speaks louder than words, but words hurt more than actions. Y/N had shortness of breathing and having chassis pains. That was the most common syndrome of heart disease.
Ratchet, the medic of the team wasn't blind at all and was trained to notice signs of any health problems. Since Y/N was showing those signs, he did the tests and diagnosed her with Broken Heart Syndrome or should I say Broken Spark Syndrome? Ratchet kept a close optic on her and made her take medication, especially if she showed signs of chassis pains and shortness of breath.
But meanwhile in the main room of the base...
Ratchet was updating Y/N's health on the Cybertronian computer since it was important for the medics to keep new updates so that they can keep the information. There was actually no standard treatment for the syndrome that Y/N had, but you can survive with medication and as long as you're being careful. Not only do doctors like Ratchet keep updates safe but also dentists as well. Ratchet was mad at Ultra Magnus for saying hurtful words but kept it quiet. It was time that others should watch out for what comes out of their mouths. Words can damage someone and give an illness. He began to ask himself how would Optimus react if he found out about that...
Bumblebee then walked up to Ratchet and beeped a question at him.
Ratchet signed and looked over his shoulderplate. "No, Bumblebee. Y/N is still a little bit weak to come out. I am doing the best I can to help her on track. But her syndrome doesn't have a standard treatment. Just like on humans."
Bumblebee frowned and let out a sad whirl. He saw Y/N as his good friend and cared for her as a friend. He was mad at the commander for saying those words that he nearly attacked her. Didn't the idiotic commander notice at all how much he damaged her? Why was he even doing this?! Just because she was a half-Predacon!? Bumblebee clenched his fists in anger as he started to shake.
Ratchet, being a smart aft medic, noticed it and quickly placed his servo on the scout's shoulderplate. "Easy, Bumblebee." Just as Ratchet wanted to say something further, his computer caught a signal. He quickly went to the device and Bumblebee looked curiously over his shoulderplate.
"Hahaha!" Ratchet began to laugh and clapped his servos happily. That caught everyone's attention as they walked up to him, except Y/N, who was still sadly in her berthroom to rest. She did hear Ratchet's happy laugh, which was confusing, but she didn't bother to check since she felt weak. Ratchet turned around fast with a big smile on his faceplate. "Optimus is alive!"
That caused everyone to cheer happily. Y/N fell asleep at that time. She didn't hear Ratchet's loud voice that said that Optimus was alive and coming soon to the base.
2 hours later~
"Awesome! Optimus is now like 2.0!" Miko happily jumped as she was fascinated by Optimus' new look.
"It's good to have you back, Optimus," Arcee said with a smile.
Everyone was saying how happy they were to see and have Optimus Prime back. The leader was smiling as he listened to everyone with respect. He was happy to see them as well. Even though he was almost offline for good, he thought about others, especially Y/N. But wait, where was she? He saw his friends but not Y/N. He frowned. What happened to her while he was missing? He wondered about her every day. He nearly did join the AllSpark and taking the servo of his mentor, Alpha Trion. The old smart mech understood his student's decision. He even teased Optimus to get the spark of the half-Predacon. He blushed.
Ratchet seem to realize Optimus' frown and he immediately knew that it was about Y/N. He walked up to his leader. "Optimus, I have to speak to you. It's urgent."
Optimus nodded in understanding. Of course, he heard Ratchet's serious tone, which meant that he was deadly serious, especially for being a medic. His job was to take care of others and help if needed. They both went to a private chamber to speak while others stayed. Ultra Magnus, however, got a bad feeling...
Ratchet closed the door and turned to face Optimus. "Optimus, while you were gone, others had a fight against the Decepticons. They had a new 'weapon' it was a full Predacon... a mech. He's named Predaking, the ruler of the Predacons. Y/N fought against him. I must say, I am impressed with her fighting moves. Dancing. Ultra Magnus didn't like her style at all. I saw them going to a private chamber. I learned from Y/N that Magnus forbid her from going out and he forced her to change her style..." He sighed and took a deep breath. "As a result, Y/N has Broken Heart Syndrome, also known as stress cardiomyopathy or takotsubo syndrome in humans. But I called it the Broken Spark Syndrome. She has trouble breathing and having chassis pains. I made her take medication."
Optimus couldn't believe what he heard. How could Ultra Magnus do this? He was getting angry. The commander took it too far by his words. He look calmy at Ratchet and nodded. "Thank you for the information old friend. I will speak to commander Ultra Magnus and see Y/N."
Ratchet nodded back and they left the private chamber. Ultra Magnus knew that he was busted. Optimus slowly walked up to the commander, with a disappointed and angry expression on his faceplate. He took the commander to somewhere private and let's just say that Optimus was so stern. He also finally punished the commander for what he said to Y/N. Ratchet was satisfied and mumbled under his breath: "As humans say: 'Get rekt'."
Optimus then walked through the hallway corridors, searching for Y/N's berthroom. Each bot had a nameplate hanging against the door. It was easier for everyone to find each other, except for humans since they were so small. But good that the kids remembered which room was who. They drew small symbols on each door of the bot. Ratchet got a symbol of a doctor, Bumblebee got a bee, Arcee a motorcycle, etc. Y/N had a dragon, even though she couldn't transform into a Predacon.
Optimus knocked on the door gently as he found Y/N's door. After no response, he softly opened the door and peaked in. He smiled softly once he saw Y/N recharging peacefully. But he was still worried about her health after all. He walked to Y/N, closing the door softly to not wake her up. He caressed her helm with his gentle digits and he smiled once he heard her purr. Predacons can purr a lot. Yes, even Optimus can too but not a lot like the Predacons can, even half ones. Optimus continued to caress as he sat down carefully, lifting Y/N's helm and laid it on his lap. For some reason, laps were so comfy. No wonder humans and Cybertronians fall asleep easily, even falling asleep on someone's body. It was so cute when a male slept on top of the female as a couple or friends. Family too. But mostly, females slept on top of the males.
Y/N softly moaned in her sleep as she moved a bit. She felt very comfortable. But that's when she groaned and had trouble breathing. She panted and Optimus got worried. He then noticed the medication on her nightstand. He grabbed it and then Y/N gasped and sat up, her servo on her chassis.
"Easy, Y/N," the familiar deep voice said.
Y/N snapped her helm towards the very familiar deep voice and gasped. it was Optimus! Wait, he was really here?! She was about to say something but Optimus silenced her by cupping her cheekplate, causing her to blush a lot. He helped her take the medication and soon, she breathed normally. But she felt then sleepy again. Optimus noticed it and softly pushed her down. "Recharge, Y/N. Your body needs more rest."
Y/N smiled softly and fell asleep. She can now catch a lot of rest since Optimus was alive and well. She found him more handsome. His new look, now strong body, etc. But she loved his hips, smile, voice, and smirk. As she was sleeping, she felt soft dermas on hers. Optimus was kissing her, just like in the movie Sleeping Beauty.
I apologize if it isn't familiar a lot. I decided to try and make it a little cuter for the fans, especially the ending part.

Things I’ve Gotten to Notice and Love While Rewatching or Watching (in-general)
Transformers: Prime
———
Starting a little series for myself ladies, gents, and in-betweens across the spectrum— and nobody can stop me.
I’ve come to start like gradually enjoying Transformers Prime as time progresses while also making fun of the little things about it but it’s all cool. I appreciate the show nonetheless and continue to watch it with the years that fly but enough of that.
I’m just here to point out little things I just like about the show and like to talk about, if you guys knew long ago about these things good for you I’m just still high in the clouds about it and barely realizing them with each re-watch so here we go hsbshsghg:
- Knockout has dark red scleras?! I always assumed they were black but I guess I never really looked into it and when I did it was just— really cool of me to finally see!? I kinda like seeing him with dark red scleras since they look really cool and pretty. Knockout’s eyes are pretty,
- Dreadwing has more than just his cannon and sword as a weapon, HE HAS AN ARSENAL OF OTHER FRICKING WEAPONS!! I took a really good like—- look at this when I was going back through the episodes and just— re-watching so that I could basically pretend that he and Breakdown were 100% not dead, y’know? And just re-watched the episode of “Crossfire” (I think?) where Megatron was basically calling in for Dreadwing and I just sat there… INTENTLY watching Dreadwing’s table of weapons and was like “Yoo! He got the ‘nades and stuff!” Before watching him reload a blaster or gun of sorts and was just like “YOU HAVE MORE WEAPONS?!?” Idk I just thought that was neat. It made me go 💗💖💕💞💘💘💓💘💘 in the head, fuzzy feeling stuff
- Predaking’ s claws just going on the ground and like going “ka—schink! Ka—schink!” Whenever he moves. I just thought that was a nice little touch-up and it would always make me just gasp and go “IT IS HEEE!!” Whenever he would barely make it into the scene, I just here the little claw-scrapes and I immediately start bursting into a multitude of hearts.
- everybody’s eyes are so god damn pretty and unique. That’s it. That’s all I have to say. Even with the characters I don’t like. Their eyes are really pretty too like Megs and Screamer (I mean— I guess I can sort of not resent Screamer anymore. He was oppressed but like also doesn’t forgive him for the things he did but I’ll respect the people who like him 👍 go get your stiletto-heeled jet, guys ♥️)
- EVERYBODY GOT THEM SCRATCHES ON THEIR FACE!! WAR SCARS AND EVERYTHING!! Idk I find looking at like little scars and other stuff to be really fascinating, and I just wan grab and kiss those scars because they so fricking pretty. Maybe I’m just crazy or somethin idk
- Claws, digits, fingers, whatever you call them?— Claws that go “tink! Tink! Tink!” When they tap against something in the show, big round digits that just go “tap! Tap! Tap!” Despite being massive? Love those. Their claws, everybody’s claws, digits, or fingers look really nice in the show. I adore the designs and all that stuff. I mean yeah they could stab me with those but have you seen how cool they look?! I just think they’re neat
- Maybe this is just me? But Skylynx and Darksteel share just a tiny bit of similarity for me to Dreadwing and Breakdown. Oh definitely not in personality, these two are clowns together but— face-wise. You probably can’t see it that well but I guess I can?? Idk maybe I’m still coping with the fact that “oh— two of my favorite characters or dead. Dead as hell, canonically,” but I can kinda see their faces on the Predacons from Predacons Rising.
- OMFG— WHEN SKYQUAKE DIED?! I DIDN’T REALIZE THAT HE DIDN’T JUST IMMEDIATELY LIKE GO OFFLINE AS SOON AS HE DIVES INTO THE GROUND— LIKE HIS EYES JUST DIDN’T BECOME DARK AND STUFF. I REALIZED THAT AFTER WATCHING HIS DEATH FOR THE 3RD TIME HIS EYES WERE STILL GLOWING AND— THEY GRADUALLY GO OUT AFTER A SECOND OR SO AFTER OPTIMUS ARRIVES AND IT— OMFG IT PUNCHED SOMETHING IN MY GUT TO SEE THAT— I DON’T KNOW WHY IT JUST DID AFGSHSHG. H E WAS HALFWAY TRANSFORMING TOO— OUT FROM HIS JET MODE AND.. AAAAAAAAAAAA
Anyways that’s gonna be all outta me until next time because I am absolutely exhausted. Hope you enjoyed my ramblings, I go snooze now

Optimus twirls his axe, thinking as he stares at the mark from a distance away. He scuffs his pedes against the ground. He’d been watching human videos, Terrans really did put anything and everything on the internet. He’d been practicing and now he hoped that he’d finally get the trick down. Hefting his axe in his servo, eyeing the target; flipping it one more time and as it comes down his stance shifts. A pede sliding in a wide arc to adjust his frame angle, communication arrays pinned back as he flings it. The satisfying twack of his axe meeting the thick log he’d set up makes him grin like a fool. He trots over. Staring at where his target has toppled over. Planting a pede on the wood to yank it free with a soft snort, because it’s a ridiculous skill; impractical. He still feels a little flare of pride in his spark to manage it. Its an idle past time; that’s how he explains it to himself as if he should feel guilty. Here on Earth far from home no one is going to berate him for using his time frivolously. For spending his time honing his war skills for fun, like a Decepticon. He looks up to the dark night sky with a sigh. Because the thought should make him flinch but now it just makes him tired. His own berating processor running in circles and he’s so tired of it. Pale optics dimming as his fins droop. He sets up his target again. The sound of his axe meeting the target carries through the evening dim until the earth sun slowly rises. -- The roar of battle is as far from the shores of quiet Lake Eerie as it can get. The Quints had come for them all. Autobot and Decepticon-  so they had rallied together to fight this menace. They had sworn to enslave them all, claiming them ancient property gone astray. They’d even emptied Trypticon for this fight. They could not afford to have a single fighter off the field of battle. Optimus works back to back with Sentinel. Shockwave and Jazz and Cliffjumper collude on data, worn plating and tired optics as they work ceaselessly to get them the information they need. Optimus has a processor full of voices, data and transmissions. He works just as tirelessly, the only mechanism with the specialized fins left. Most of them had been light frames, unsuited for the heat of battle and killed easily. Optimus had cut his denta with battle experience on Megatron and his officers. Now it suits him as he plunges into the heart of the storm. Following a call for help, to regroup and reorient themselves. Megatron has a shot, he’s refusing to retreat or rally.
Looking for the mech in question and time seems to slow down- There he is, canon raised to take aim at a Quint General. He is leaking energon. There is a Quint Heavy Unit behind him blade raised, glittering with the electrical currents that they have been using to deadly efficiency. This is not like his log target at all. His energy axe flares to life in his palm. Optics narrow and he vents… once- Twisting his frame into a stronger stance. Flipping his axe into the air. The sword is coming closer to Megatron’s spinal strut as the great cannon whines and gleams with deadly energy. He ex-vents and goes silent. His axe comes down into his servo- Steps forward in a long clean line. The axe an extension of his conscious will. The sound his axe makes buried in the Quint’s skull isn’t too unlike his log target once upon a time. The world roars back to full volume as he storms after his weapon. The Prime barreling with a roar through a group of smaller Quint foot pads that fall screaming under his pedes and flee as the roar of the cannon cries alongside him. Optimus yanks his axe free after a few hard pulls from the dead Heavy and a servo lands on his shoulder. Optimus turns, axe coming up to meet Red optics. The bared denta on the other make his spark flicker with… something. “ A useful skill little autobot. Not many of your kind bother learning such things. “ The dark servo smears the dark green blood of the Quint over his shoulder, over his autobot brand. Those red optics flickering,” … You always do surprise me though.” It makes that flicker turn into a jolt and he lightly bats his servo aside,” We’re pulling back.” Optics flickering as the Quints also start to withdraw,” … Looks like your trick worked too. Next time? Don’t leave your strut exposed like that. I thought you’d know better.” Half perched on his kill, it raises him to Optic level with the other mechanism. That sharp smile turns wider and Optimus feels something shift as Megatron moves away. His dark servo flicking lightly,” Why should I be worried? I knew you were there to see to my safety.” Striding off the dark grey frame is joined by a bevy of Decepticons who flash Optimus knowing equally sharp smiles. Optimus does not want to think of why right now. So he retreats towards where the Autobot High Command is basing to gather his wits. His shoulder burns and he drags his digits over the stained Autobrand. Reassuring himself that it is still there, quietly denying that he had almost hoped it would not be.

Reunion
Universe: The Prime’s Consorts Characters: Sideswipe, Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Sunstreaker Rating: T Description: Sideswipe thought he’d never see his brother again.
Sideswipe doesn’t know what to think when a trio of Primal guards shows up on his doorstep and demands he come with them. He’s torn between refusing because of what Streamline might do to him, and sprinting along with them because of a stupid hope that their arrival means he gets to see Sunstreaker. He immediately dashes that internal hope when he considers that seeing Sunstreaker is probably part of some ploy to force his brother into good behavior. His excitement immediately cools. Sideswipe goes with them because he doesn’t see where he has any other choice. His escorts are not very chatty. They don’t answer his questions, but sit in a stony silence as the transport heads straight for the shining beacon of Iacon, and the glittering tower that overlooks it all -- the Prime Residence. Sideswipe’s spark sinks deeper and deeper into his abdomen.
Sunstreaker is in that tower, enduring only Primus knows what, and Sideswipe is on his way to that very same tower, for a reason no one will give him. Sideswipe’s only comfort is that he’s not arriving in chains. There’s a surge of unconscious delight in his spark, one he can’t dampen, that keeps him riding the edge of calm. His every sensor is alight with his proximity to Sunstreaker. He dares hope he might get to hug his brother, share their fields, and if he’s really lucky, be allowed a shallow merge. The shuttle lands. They herd Sideswipe into the Prime Residence itself, lead him silently through the massive halls, passing too many doors to count, too many servants who bow and lower their gazes. He expects the atmosphere to reek of discomfort and simmering disgust. It doesn’t, and somehow, that’s the weirdest part. Sideswipe’s taken to a door. One of his guards presses a button, announces them in the same serious monotone as when he’d informed Sideswipe to come along, and the door slides open. They gesture him to go inside. There’s warning in their optics, though Sideswipe can’t imagine why, until he does as they ask, and he realizes. Slag. This is Optimus Prime’s office. And Optimus Prime is seated behind a large desk, the massive windows letting in streams of false sunlight while a larger mech stands beside him, pointing to a datapad in the Prime’s possession. The door shuts behind Sideswipe, leaving the guards on the other side. Optimus Prime looks at Sideswipe, and he smiles, and there’s such warmth in the smile, Sideswipe feels as if he’s stepped into an alternate dimension. Optimus Prime rises from behind the desk and circles it, extending a hand toward Sideswipe. “Hello, Sideswipe. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you,” he says. Sideswipe takes the hand on automatic. “I think the pleasure’s supposed to be mine, sir,” he says, because it’s a lesson Sunstreaker never quite absorbed, that being polite from the start earns you more concession than slag. Optimus Prime chuckles and gestures to a chair. “Please. Sit.” “I’d prefer to stand if it’s all the same to you,” Sideswipe says, flashing his patented smile, trying to ignore the other, much larger mech. “Can I ask what I’m doing here?” Optimus Prime returns to his desk, briefly patting the other mech on the shoulder before he sits. “I made a promise to your brother, and with Ultra Magnus’ help, I was finally able to fulfill it.” “I think Prowl might have contributed a task or two,” says the mech whom Sideswipe can only assume is Ultra Magnus in a dry tone. “It was a group effort,” Optimus Prime says, chuckling. It’s so surreal Sideswipe wonders if he’s still in recharge, and this is all some by-product of tainted energon. He stares at both of them. Ultra Magnus coughs into his hand and gives the Prime a pointed look. If Sideswipe didn’t know any better, he’d think it is chastisement, but this is the Prime here. And whoever Ultra Magnus is, no way he’s got authority over the Prime. Optimus Prime looks at Sideswipe directly, and it’s not comfortable to have the full force of that look. He says, “I know you have little reason to trust anyone in a position of authority, but nevertheless, I wish to reassure you that this isn’t a trap. It’s my hope that meeting you like this might reassure you of my intentions.” Sideswipe’s mouth opens and shuts, his arms folding as he ruminates on the Prime’s words. He has to admit, they’re pretty much the perfect thing someone should say in this situation if they’re trying to gain Sideswipe’s trust. But that’s the thing about politicians, isn’t it? They always know the right thing to say. Especially if they’ve managed to wheedle or force the necessary insight out of another party. Like, for example, Sunstreaker who has been in the clutches of Optimus Prime for too long already. “Your intentions,” Sideswipe echoes. “Yes,” Optimus Prime says, and he audibly cycles a ventilation. Most mechs might think this is the perfect time for a reassuring smile, but the Prime apparently doesn’t. He gives Sideswipe a serious look, his tone shaping into that of a vow, “My sole purpose in bringing you here is so I can ensure your and your brother’s happiness.” Sideswipe cycles his optics. “... What?” He thinks about resetting his audials, because the words don’t jive with what he’s used to hearing from mechs in the Prime’s position. Then again, he also knows the value of pretty words. They’re what got him and Sunstreaker into debt with Streamline in the first place. Kind words promising energon and safety and a home, and instead, it turns into a contract they can’t get out of. Sideswipe knows how to play this game, too. “I am aware of the circumstances behind Sunstreaker’s nomination, and I don’t approve of them. No mech should be held hostage for love of his family,” Optimus Prime says, and there’s something in his tone that’s almost… angry? On their behalf? Which if it’s feigned, mech’s doing a damn good job of it. “I want to reunite you with Sunstreaker because you two should be together and for no other reason.” For no other reason? Without any attached strings? Sideswipe doesn’t believe it for a second. The strings come later, in little favors and asks and wheedles. See how generous the Prime is? So generous now, so when he needs something later, he can remind them of his kindness. It’s easy enough to hand a leash from one owner to another, isn’t it? Sideswipe’s armor crawls. He smiles anyway, because that’s what he knows best to do. He smiles, and he says, “I thought I’d never get to see Sunstreaker again, honestly. Thank you, sir,” Sideswipe says, because when one stands in front of the singularly most powerful mech on the planet, they mind their glossa. “How long do we have?” “How long?” Optimus Prime echoes, and he actually looks confused for a moment before he shakes his head. “There’s no restriction. You can stay here if you’d like, or if you’d prefer, you can find alternate accommodation.” “There is the matter of your safety,” rumbles Ultra Magnus, who’s been doing his best to be a silent statue up until now, his attention grabbed by a datapad. “We can protect you better if you live here with your brother.” Right. Because Sunny can’t leave. Because he belongs to the Prime now. And apparently, Optimus Prime can’t manage without a matched set. Hold on. Sideswipe replays Optimus Prime’s words with Ultra Magnus’ additions. It takes that long for the full meaning of their offer to filter through his suspicion. Sideswipe tries not to gape and knows he’s failed. “Wait. You’re giving me the choice? I can live here with Sunstreaker if I want to?” “Yes, I am,” Optimus Prime says and there it is, a small smile that tries to be reassuring. “Would you like to see him?” Sideswipe barely resists squinting at him. Is that a real question or is he already starting with the mind-frag games? “If it’s not too much trouble,” he says instead. Streamline wouldn’t have been fooled, but Optimus Prime and his large lackey haven’t learned yet. “I’ve already called him, Optimus. He should be here any second now,” Ultra Magnus says. Optimus Prime gives him a look Sideswipe can’t interpret, but it doesn’t faze the mech. “Thank you.” “Of course.” Ultra Magnus pauses as a low, cheerful chime rings through the room. “That will be him now, as a matter of fact.” Sideswipe tingles all over, his spark one massive throb in his chassis. He turns as the door whooshes open, and it’s like onlining for the first time all over again, Sunstreaker walking inside looking beautiful and healthy and whole. He carries his head high, not a trace of slump to his shoulders, and that more than anything, shocks Sideswipe into silence. Or maybe it’s the fact Sunstreaker spots him just as quickly, changes direction from greeting the Prime to stride across the floor and sweep Sideswipe into a strut-crushing hug. Affection? From Sunstreaker? In front of other people? Sideswipe hugs him back, equally fierce. “Missed you, too,” he murmurs as his spark throbs a frantic beat of love-need-relief. “Shut up,” Sunstreaker hisses, squeezing until his armor creaks, only to pull back and take Sideswipe’s hand in a crushing grip. “We’re going to talk later,” he tells Optimus Prime in a voice that sounds too much like chastisement for Sideswipe’s comfort, before he starts tugging Sideswipe out of the room. “Take all the time you need,” is Optimus Prime’s diplomatic response, tinged with amusement, before the door shuts on them. “Did you just yell at the Prime?” Sideswipe asks, dazed. His head spins. Too much is happening too fast especially when all he can focus on is the nearness of Sunstreaker’s spark, and how much his chassis jutters to open. “He deserved it,” Sunstreaker says, tugging Sideswipe to the next door over, keying it open, revealing a plush sitting room larger than their entire apartment back in Tarn. “Deserved it… Sunny, he’s the Prime!” Sideswipe splutters, aghast at his twin’s nonchalance, though he should have expected it. Sunstreaker never has been one for respecting authority. Sunstreaker squeezes his hand and whirls on Sideswipe, pulling him into another embrace. “I’ll explain later,” he says, one hand cupping the back of Sideswipe’s neck as he presses their foreheads together. “Promise.” Their chassis collide, and Sunstreaker’s twitching chestplate rasps against Sideswipe’s own. Oh. “Yeah, okay, sure,” Sideswipe says, processor twirling. “Later.” He curves an arm around his brother’s waist, keeping them close, in-venting the familiar scent of Sunstreaker’s stupid-expensive wax, and soaking in the weight of his twin’s field. “Primus, I missed you.” He stops holding back, and his chestplates spring open, the glow of his spark briefly reflected on Sunstreaker’s armor before he opens as well, and the pull of his spark is impossible to resist. Explanations can come later. Right now, Sideswipe has his twin in his arms, and that is all that matters. ***

Pros and Cons of all the TF shows I watched [updated: Unicron Trilogy and BW Neo]
Update info: Whyever the hell I wrote this and why people care about my opinion is beyond my current understanding, but @chaoticgirl23 asked for the Unicron Trilogy I hadn't watched back then, so- Also decided to write down if I actually like the show or not xD
(also I removed wfc, because I cant really judge after all with the show not being finished) My personal opinions + stuff that can be dubbed controversial and problematic, so beware for racism and sexism! But also beware of my idiotic attempts at humour
G1 (loved the show with all my heart)
Pros:
- The original show
- big cast of loveable characters
- Really awesome human side characters
- Very clever and witty dialogue
- fucking batshit insane
- Rodimus Prime is babe
Cons:
- apart from Arcee, female autobots being treated like a subspecies and only appearing in like one episode (3 if you are generous)
- Motherfucking country called “Carbombya”
- Some human characters are actually shit (those boys from B.O.T)
- Rodimus fucks as a human and not as a robot
- Everything animated by AKOM
- Galvatron’s portrayal as a person with brain-damage reads as ableistic (Personally I still love his G1 version more than the others I’ve seen)
- The “You’re only truly disabled if you lose your courage” line from Chip, it was explained to me that it’s ableistic as well
Headmasters (loved the show)
Pros:
- exciting plot
- characters die, fuck yeah
- Planets get destroyed, fuck yeah
- <3 ~ Power of Friendship ~ <3
- Sixshot is babe
Cons:
- Everything about Cyclonus and Wheelie
- Rodimus fucks off after episode 10 and never comes back
- Arcee going from warrior to secretary
- If you come from IDW I have to break it to you that Chromedome is straight
SuperGod  Masterforce (loved the show with all my heart)
Pros:
- A darker and more serious storyline if you’re into that
- Lots of character arcs and well-written characters in general
- Decepticons having a more family like dynamic
- Decepticons with a level of depth to them
- Redemption much
- Ginrai is babe
Cons:
- This show’s focus is on the humans so if you don’t like human TF characters, this aint for you
- The character Cab has a level of racist stereotyping - he comes from a fictional country in Oceania called Karin and the depiction of that country is everyone living in wood homes and having no electricity. (The show plays in the future so that makes it worse) Cab himself gets introduced as a Tarzan kinda dude who can talk with animals.
While I found Cab himself not bad as a character, the problem with how his background is written sure is stupid and insulting. There isn’t a lot of focus on his country in the show however, but it’s still there
- There is a scene in which the boys Shuta and Cab spy on girls during swim class (they get called out and apologize for it though and the “fanservice” scene itself is really damn modest and tame)
Victory (loved the show)
Pros:
- Similiar fun tone as G1
- lovable cast of idiots
- Exciting episode plots
- Leozack is babe
Cons:
- The only two prominent female characters are love interests and nothing else (which is drop in quality when compared to Masterforce, which had Minerva as a fleshed out autobot with agency and Mega as an interesting female villain)
- Leozack never punches Deszaras in the face
- Fucking retcons the destruction of Mars in Headmasters
Beast Wars (loved with all my heart)
Pros:
- Really compelling story and characters!!!
- Well written dialogue
- Wonderful character animation
- Dinobot is HONOUR and babe. Also I’m crying
- Megatron and his bullshit
Cons:
- Megatron and his bullshit
- That stupid love triangle subplot in season 3
- Some major plotline not being fully developed (the Vok plotline)
Beast Wars II (liked the show)
Pros:
- The Predacons in general
- Lio Convoy (the Optimus of the show) having a son
- Galvatron is babe and so is Starscream
Cons:
- Maximals are lame apart from Lio Convoy and the arc with his son Lio Junior
- A lot of uninteresting characters an episodes
- The Jointrons as racist mexican stereotypes
- Only female robot is part of a love triangle (even more annoying than the love triangle in Beast Wars)
Beast Wars Neo (liked the show)
Pros:
- Big Convoy being a lone wolf turned teacher was a really sweet story to follow <3 How he and his team learnt to trust each other over the course of the show was really nice!
- Unicron in this show was a delight
- D-Navi was always fun
- Magmatron was a rather nice Decepticon leader
- Heinrad is babe
Cons:
- No girls (Boo!)
Beast Machines (very conflicted, tend to dislike)
Pros:
- Plays entirely on Cybertron
- Explores themes of technology and organic life forms and really tries to be something different and deep
- The last episode is really nice
- Jetstorm is babe
Cons:
- No fun allowed - the maximals are really frustrating because we only ever see them being angry and fighting and a lot of them only show us their worst sides
- The maximal character models are HIDEOUS
- You may not actually like the philosophical aspect of the show, especially when you think too long about it and realise it’s kinda shit
Robots in Disguise 2001/ Car Robots (liked the show)
Pros:
- New continuity! New story, new take!
- Funny and lighthearted
- Cute characters
- Sky-Byte/Gel-Shark is babe
- Ultra Magnus/God Magnus is a fucking jerk and I love it
Cons:
- Sideburn/Speedbreaker’s gag about loving red sport cars and chasing after them - it’s played as a joke all the time but I can see that stuff making people uncomfortable when they see the female driver trying to get away from him and his catcalling (Apart from that I do like him a lot though)
Armada/Micron Densetsu (disliked the show)
Pros:
- Lots of feels between Megatron and Optimus
- Starscream's arc
- The ending arc
- Jetfire was babe
Cons:
- The pacing was unbearable
- Half the time the characters didn't act like people and I was confused about almost every conflict, action and point they made. It's not a great story when I watch episode and need an hour to figure what the hell the story even was
- The parts I liked in concept are not helped by how unnatural and weird the characters acted at times. I liked the ending, but how they got there was so weird that I just can't enjoy it
Energon/Superlink (loved the show)
Pros:
- Megatron/Galvatron - Everything about him
- The japanese voice acting was fantastic!
- Really nice death scenes (I love death scenes btw)
- Mirage/Shockfleet being in love with Megatron
- Bringing back old names apart from Megatron and Optimus
- Rodimus being an equal to Optimus was a nice touch
- The few scenes it was 2D animated
- Jetfire/Skyfire is babe
Cons:
- Animation
- The "for the toys" thing kinda ruined some characters, where instead of getting the toys as completely new characters, they killed old ones and brought them back with a new model. It did suck story-telling wise (and me, loving death scenes, get annoyed when a death scene gets ruined by bringing the character back). So you got all these character arcs that feel like the just stopped
Cybertron/Galaxy Force (loved the show with all my heart)
Pros:
- Love the setting and world with all the different colonies and how they were explored ~
- Optimus Prime, this one is my favourite version of him!
- Vector Prime, they should bring him back
- All the different leaders
- The friendship between the characters- this show has my favourite set of Autobots from all TF media
- This also has my favourite Mega&Star dynamic
- Starscream himself is so well done here!
- Jetfire/Dreadlock was babe
Cons:
- Megatron was lacklustre. When it came to him and his dynamics with other characters (apart from Starscream), he was hardly written as a person with feelings. He never reacts to anything happening within the ranks of Decepticons and it is really disappointing, because there was a lot of potential! (with Flame Convoy and Chromia specifically)
Animated (loved the show)
Pros:
- Character writing, plot and themes!
- Lighthearted tone but enough scenes that dig a little deeper
- Really nice and smooth animation
- Optimus is baby
Cons:
- The chins
- No 4th season
Prime (loved the show)
Pros:
- Best friggin fight scenes and animation in general
- Really exciting plot
- Ratchet is babe
Cons:
- Predacon Rising exists
- Characters dying for budget reasons (Just don’t hire celebrities when you cannot pay them for more?)
Robots in Disguise 2015 (it's okay)
Pros:
- ...the Stunticons are babe
Cons:
- characters never developing and learning the same shit over and over again
- almost no interesting villains
- even the interesting ones being shoved aside a lot
- no real built-up for the climax
- lots of filler and not enough time spent on the actual plot of a corrupt Cybertron goverment
Prime Wars Trilogy (loved the show with all my heart)
Pros:
- Megatron, everything about him, he’s babe
- I really like the soundtrack
Cons:
- Bad storytelling, both narrative and visual
- Horrible or mediocre voice acting
- Static and bad facial expressions
- Static and bad character animation
- Feels like no one involved in the production had any idea how to tell a story
Cyberverse (meh)
Pros:
- Really cute as fuck
- Big cast
- Astrotrain is babe
Cons:
- No time for character arcs, they just jump from set up to conclusion with nothing in-between
- Unfocused plot that jumps from one idea to another
- Megatron broke my heart and I hate him

SENTIENT TELETRAAN
This is something that has interested me for a long time, and I don't really remember if it's just due to my general fascination with AI or perhaps overanalyzing one scene from one episode of the G1 cartoon. It could be a combination of both, and it's something I think about whenever the Autobots' (or Maximals') base computer behaves in a way that even remotely hints at it being more than a hollow machine. This exchange, from the end of the Beast Wars episode "A Better Moustrap," seemed to hint that Sentinel had something of a sense of humor, or at least understood the concept.
A Better Mousetrap said:
Cheetor: Rattrap!
Rhinox: How did you...
Rattrap: Avoid getting scrapped? Hehe...Well, it was no oil bath, but let's face it! Ain't a defense system made that I can't get around! Right, Sentinel?
Sentinel: Acknowledged.
In that scene, Sentinel's delivery of the reply was somewhat more "human" than the more monotone delivery used in the rest of the episode. Either Ian Corlett was still trying to find his voice for the AI, or that line was intentionally meant to convey a bit of emotion to add to the lighthearted tone of the moment. This was probably the most personality Sentinel showed in the series, but it would've been interesting to see more. I even imagined Sentinel gaining a Maximal body back then. Now that I'm bringing it up, I'm starting to wonder how that would play out.
In the G1 episode "Attack of the Autobots," Teletraan 1 showed signs of personality and, depending on how you read into Casey Kasem's delivery of some of its/his dialog, some degree of emotions. When Megatron brags about the Personality Destabilizer he placed in the Ark's recharging chambers, it was Teletraan who made the obligatory comeback.
Teletraan 1 - Attack of the Autobots said:
Autobots are noble! Your plan can never succeed!
When I hear this quote play back in my mind, I feel as though Teletraan is actively trying to imitate Optimus Prime, as if the Autobot Leader were someone he looked up to or regarded as a mentor. He sounds a bit panicked when Prime, under Megatron's command, proceeds to slam his fist into his main console. This unusually "human" behavior for Teletraan doesn't stop here. It continues a little later in the episode, after Sparkplug brings him back online.
Teletraan 1 said:
Teletraan: Autobot behavior...altered by Personality Destabilizer...put into recharging chambers by Megatron.
This line wasn't delivered in Teletraan's usual steady monotone. He speaks more slowly, and his voice is a little shaky. This could've been done to show that Sparkplug didn't get him quite up to 100%, but, to me, it sounds like the Ark's AI is trying to hold back tears. The next time we see any "personality" from Teletraan, it's when he's being fried by Kremzeek and spouting off nonsense that includes 1984 references. It does beg the question of what sort of knowledge bases this nonsense was coming from and why he had them. Did he have some interest in Earth literature that lead to him scanning 1984?
In some versions of Transformers, the Teletraan analogue is shown to overtly have a personality, such as T-AI in Robots in Disguise 2001 and Teletraan X in Cyberverse. It's never explicitly stated whether these personalities were deliberately programmed in or developed over time. X's may have been programmed, but T-AI might be a little more ambiguous. We don't know how long she had been operating before she's introduced, as that series is one where the Autobots have already established themselves on Earth at the start.
More examples emerge when delving into the Japan-exclusive series, like the NAVIs in Beast Wars II and Neo. It might be something the Japanese writers like to put in, in addition to coding the AIs as female. T-AI is a continuation of that trend that made it across the Pacific when Car Robots was dubbed as Robots in Disguise 01. She and the NAVIs may have inspired Teletraan X to some degree.
What would be interesting in a future series would be to have Teletraan (or his/her Expy) grow from a typical computer AI into a more "human" character over the course of said series. How would the Autobots react to this? Was it something Teletraan is intended to do "in-universe?" It could bring up some "What Measure is a Non-Cybertronian" debates. Sparkless sentience as a whole could be explored. In fact, my aborted fan-continuity did explore this, even giving a name to these beings: Synth. One aspect of pre-War Cybertron was a growing civil rights movement for them, which Megatron hijacks during his rise to power. Prime would've supported this movement, even as Orion Pax. In an RP, I referenced a time when Megatron organized a rally that was being used as a front to round up a number of Synths for a mass-wipe. Optimus refers to this as an act of mass murder and one of Megatron's many atrocities.
