Posting this one now because I have an urgent need to share. About a year or so back in 2023, I started work on a Tinkaton Plushie, since at the time, there were none I could get my hands on, and full of hubris, I decided to try my hand at making one because "how hard could it be?"

Famous last words and all that because she was a fucking challenge to complete lmao. Turns out making a plushie on the philosophy of “fuck it we ball” with no actual pattern means a lot of struggling, not to mention my mini sewing machine refusing to cooperate so I had to sew a lot of stuff by hand. Between that and taking some months off to finish school, it took me an entire year to finish her. I do think I could've chosen my fabrics better because the fleece I landed on turned out to stretch a lot, which made things very difficult, but she's complete now and I love her. Anything for my favorite Pokémon of all time :)

TITANIA AND MOMMY SERSI PART 2

Imagine Sersi's horror upon hearing her 5-year-old niece Titantia pleading with her to open the door after some mothers decided to lock her up because she had defended her new friend by his mistreated son. Sersi had always been a devoted teacher as well as a protective aunt to Titantia and jack.

Sersi: Titania are you there baby?

(Sersi's in panic mode)

Titania: open mommy open

(Titania banging the door crying)

Sersi: OPEN THIS DOOR NOW!

(Sersi yell to the mother's behind her, One of the mother signal the maid to open the door, Sersi try to make a calm expression when she burst in the door to calm Titania who cling tight on her, The other mother's keep there distance watching the scene.)

Sersi: It's okay darling I'm here it's alright

(Calming titania down but her face it's all red in anger)

Titania: Th-they lock me here mo-mommy the-they said I'm a bad girl but i promise you I'm not mommy I'm not.

(Titania said between sob tilting her head to sersi like she's trying to convince her she's telling the truth but sersi didn't even needed her to explain she already know it from the start)

Sersi: I know, you are the most good girl i ever known also the bravest I'm sorry sweetie you been through this, why don't we go home we will have our own party i promise.

(Sersi smoothing Titania, when she give her little nod sersi carry her outside the house then she put her down for a moment leaving a kiss on her head)

Sersi: Wait for me here Sweetie i just forget my purse i be right back.

(Sersi left Titania with sally outside the house, When she get back inside the other children were in the other room and all the mother's is in the living room she walk in already taking off her ring and earrings.

Mother1: She punch my son in the face so we just teach her some lesson it's not proper for a young girl punching a boy in the face

Sersi: uh-uh

(Not caring)

Mother2: She just over reacting with all her crying she should be discipline

Sersi:uh-uh

(Taking her coat off)

Mother3: You should even thank us

(Sersi close the door and turn to look at them and smile )

Titania outside the house hearing a loud noise inside the house like someone doing a construction all of the sudden, and then Sersi came out smiling sweetly at her she carry Titania again she said good bye to sally who turn white already, before sersi leave she turn the living room in metal so that the mother's gonna have one hell of a problem to go out not to mention the damage that sersi made of them it's lucky if one of them could stand and ask for help.

Sersi: I'm really sorry Titania this happened

Titania: It's okay mommy sersi i had fun! Besides i made new friends so I'm happy

Sersi: really? Well I'm glad you're happy but i still would like to make it up to you, how about we go to arcade i buy you many tokens as much as you like, and daddy ikaris wanted to watch movies with us.

Murray is a skulking little pest of a man who Hopper didn’t like very much even before his theories started getting uncomfortably close to the girl he and Bernadette have chosen to protect, and the truths they begrudgingly safeguard for Owens and his ilk. His daemon, Cassandra, is not much better.

Hopper tries not to judge people by the shape of their soul too much, but foxes are scavengers. And he’s not sure what you’d call preying on a grieving family for several months other than scavenging.

The Titania&Ulysses and Gideon parallels are honestly making me so insane. With U- and T- John claims to see them as his children. Then he puppeteers them, drags them around like a favorite toy, plays house with their corpses as dolls, he even names one of them after his childhood dog??? Sir, this is not even near to how one treats children, dear God, you got lost in the necro-sauce—

Then this man lives for ten thousand years and now he has Gideon and he brings her into the world the second time, he constructs her, he renames her and proceeds to play mother-daughter with a new miserable corpse. This man just doesn’t learn, does he. But oh well, this time the corpse is a willing one, isn’t that great! Because Gideon got so tangled up in the desperate desire to be a tool, a weapon, a sword hand, a cavalier. Her “mother” crafted her to be a weapon, a bomb, but didn’t get to use her. Harrow refused to use her and if broke Gideon’s heart. But oh-so-luckily, now she has a father who is willing to use her and her sword, to use her as his sword. Surely this means he loves her. And the worst thing is that I think John truly thinks that is how you love your child.

SKETCHING IDEAS… CAPTAIN TITANIA MAROONER, THE RIPPER OF TIDES AND “GODDESS” OF THE HURRICANE

CAPTAIN MAROONER IS BACK!! here are some sketches i drew of her on an art stream on my server earlier!

i recently began to revamp her story and character altogether, still uncertain of the setting that she exists in but i’m thinking that for now she’ll be part of my “general” fantasy headworld until i develop something further.

here’s a short overview of her character !

Captain Titania Marooner is the founder of a small yet rambunctious and notorious crew: the Barbaric Hurricanes. After escaping an abusive arranged marriage with her three young sons, Titania struggled to make a living for herself for some time. That was until she met her current wife, who helped her partake in notorious pirating of the upper class. This eventually led to her and her wife meeting other lone pirates, soon enough, the Hurricanes had been formed.

Titania prefers to be called by her last name, “Marooner”. Her three identical sons are named Eel, Urchin, and Slug. She… wasn’t the best with names, coming up with them on the spot. Marooner appears to be very stoic and blunt, however, that’s to no fault of her own. She’s often very unaware of how truly imposing she appears, and despite what she had been through, she sports a very gregarious and easy-going personality. She can be quick to irritation, though.

While I love Dream with past shitty partners before he meets Hob having his his mind blown after he finally experiences what a good partner actually is' how about...

Hob was Dreams first love, and with that his first everything, They did the whole romance cliché of childhood friends to a serious relationship (complete with years of pinning) on the very edge of marriage with a white picket fence and kids Dream and Hob have the worse fight ever seen by either of their families, in the end Dream storms out into the rain and Hob is left yelling at him from the doorway (1889 anyone?).

Within a week Dream has moved away to pursue his dream as a artist and writer and Hob is on a plane to start backpacking around the world. The break up is swift and painful,

Eventually Dream starts dating again, but he quickly realizes that he keeps attracting the wrong sort of people; Killala started chatting up some guy obsessed with stars the second she thought his back was turned. Alianora had only dated him because Desire dared her too, Nada has tried to use him to further her families business and Titania had already been fucking married! The less said about Cori the better.

In a different world perhaps Dream would have clung on, would have delt with it and accepted what he could get. Just believed it was all he was worthy of but the thing is Dream has already experienced what it was like to have a partner who sees you as an equal. Who loves you is faithful to you and who cares about your opinion. Dream knows what he is worth and it was so much more than what any of those peoples were going to give him.

Over a decade and a half later and Dream returns to his hometown for the first time with his little Orpheus on his hip. The boys mother Calliope was a fellow lover of the arts and a famous singer. Their combined passion had lead to several award winning pieces and the creation of their beloved son but three months into a relationship had proven they were just not compatible for anything long term but Dream is forever thankful for her steady friendship.

With Calliope away on tour and no deadlines for him to complete Dream takes his son to the local park where the boy becomes fast friends with another little boy named Robin Gadling the only son of recently widowed Robert (Hob) Gadling.

It seems the Hob with his wonderfully soft dad-bod and slightly greying temple can still ignite the same burning desire within Dream as he did when Dream was a young bright-eyed twenty year-old.

This is so glorious, can you imagine their eyes meeting across the park, past the swing sets and slides and toddlers tugging on their hands!!! Dream is sure he must be, well, dreaming. He's thought of Hob often in the past few weeks that he's been back around town, occasionally fantasising about what he might look like now. He just wasn't expecting to see his former lover and have the word "daddy" immediately pop into his head.

And it seems that Hob is, literally, a daddy. He kneels to speak to Robin, who is gesturing wildly towards Orpheus, and Dream can't even move because seeing Hob being attentive to his son is just. So beautiful. But of course Orpheus drags him over to Robin and Hob gets to his feet and he's somehow even more glorious. Dream didn't think it was possible but he immediately falls right back in love with a man he hasn't seen for over 15 years.

Hob is shy and a little withdrawn, seeming like he doesn't want to offend Dream or freak him out by being too friendly. Truthfully Hob doesn't want his heart broken again. And maybe he'd be better at resisting temptation, but Robin wants more time with Orpheus and Hob can never resist his son's puppy eyes. So he finds himself sitting beside Dream on a bench, just like how they used to feed the birds together in the old days. Their thighs brush together and Hob feels like they were never even apart. He could just hold Dream’s hand right now and they could go back to how it used to be. He hopes that Dream feels it too. That he won't be disappointed that Hob is tired, and grieving, and not in the shape he used to be.

Maybe Dream will work up the courage to tell him that his weariness and the fact that he's a little frayed around the edges make him all the more perfect. Because they match each other, perfectly.

As I said in my last post announcement post, the unifications such as Huntress, Pegabug, Ladyfly and, Lady Celine are being spared from being cut, but are getting redesigns. Huntress and Pegabug don’t need to be redesigned since I love their design but I have been struggling with designing something that suits older Marinette for her unifications. After doing some design talk with my friend over FaceTime I started this drawing as a fun doodle but then it turned into a full on redesign. I loved this design so much that I decided it was gonna be her final one. Also since she has a canon name now I’m just gonna call her Ladyfly so it’s not confusing, and I did use concepts from Ladyfly’s design so her name is now Ladyfly.

As we all know Titania’s (Butterfly!Marinette) design has a Chinese aspect to it and that was something I wanted to add in, unfortunately it wasn’t working so I experimented with other styles like suits, jackets, ribbons, but they just weren’t sitting right with me. I tried again to mix in Ladyabugs suit with Titania’s silk and robe. Eventually after some planning and writing I came to the conclusion that in order to for Marinette to be able to fight with her yo-yo string she can’t have any robes or cloth that can get tangled by her yo-yo. After figuring out how Marinette’s gonna fight in the story I went with something that she could glide around in with no problem.

I still wanted the design to have some kind of divine aspect like how Titania looks like a Chinese god/Fae so I added in Titania’s see-through silk and some sparkly purple bows around her neck and her ankles. I removed her jacket as it didn’t look good with the design at all. As much as I wanted to add in flowers from Titania’s design I didn’t see it as something that would be easy to glide around with or did it make the design look any better. The see-through silk is tied in the middle so it flops over her shoulders and stays on while she’s gliding around.

But I am very happy with the final design and can’t wait to draw her in the chapter art!

October Daye Series

Does anyone know the birth order of Titania's children? I swear that in the Unkindest Tide the Luidaig says that Captain Pete is Titania's oldest "Count Lorden, you may know her better by her given name: Amphitrite, Firstborn daughter of Titania and Oberon, Mother of the Merrow." But I know Eira/Evening has been referenced as her oldest a ton of times. Is it a typo or am i missing something? At first I thought they were from different lines, but Amphitrite is Titanias since maeve's children accepted her as their own before they realized that she was one of Titania's.
