Went to bush gardens over the weekend, and the henna artist was into anime so I asked if she could do henna but one piece and she was more than happy

So I got laws tattoos and death hands but henna themed

How are the animators going to simplify Veth's face tattoo and yet keep it looking good enough where she doesn't look like a dumbass lol? It's not like they're simple warrior tattoos; they're supposed to be lacey and delicate right? If you look at Grog's tattoos in tlovm they are very toned down and simple.

I'm thinking some mirrored swirls or spirals, maybe a curved line of dots framing her cheekbones or eyelids. Maybe something that vaguely looks like leaves idk. I'm basically envisioning like, the most basic ass henna for beginner's type thing lol.

And unlike Beau and Jester's tattoos which are on strategically hidable via a piece of clothing body parts; back of the neck and chest, this is her FACE, there's no hiding that!

this 13th century art from Al-Andalus is one of my favorite finds ever. I dressed with my Andalusi veil the other day and then saw this and it was like looking at a past life. She even has henna on her hands. (I was on a mission to find representations of its use in the peninsula).

And I love how her henna looks recently done perhaps even still with the paste on, while the other redhead at the other side looks like her tattoo has been there for days or weeks and it’s fading. The details are amazing!! Although don’t look too closely at the one in the middle, her clothing is… *ehem* rather light.
