Considering doing medieval style icons and other medieval art/artworks in general by commissions. Lemme come up with the tiers if anyone is interested 😵‍💫. I would also do full body and scenes. I‘ve always loved the idea of drawing other people’s OCs too. My own pfp was a first try at an icon, as was the recent Baldwin/Lluna post at a medieval scene, but I would definitely refine the style!

I’m always scared to take commissions but I need to practice and become more accustomed and confident with it. I have taken commissions before but for paintings (acrylic) and as for digital art it’s mostly been memes like chad / wojak memes lol

I would include customization not only for the characters but a little for the style/culture, like maybe someone wants it to lean more toward Byzantine style for example?

Anyways I always just drop my thoughts on here sorry if I spam too much 😅💞

Sorry that there are no x reader fics from me, but I’ve never gone for it since it’s just not my style, though I have read many in general before. Every time I’ve given it a try there’s simply something that doesn’t quite work, like it’s not compatible with the way I write.

I LOVED the janissary design in Assassin’s Creed Revelations when I was a kid just like I loved Baldwin’s design, I think they’re PEAK. I was so obsessed sometimes I would just look at the guards or follow them around lol I was always staring at the textures on their outfits (autistic sensory processing/hyperfixation😅)

The vibes are so similar that a mix of both calls to me like a moth to a flame ✋🙂‍↕️ I already started making a sketch tho I’m not v happy with it

Thank you so much!!! RPF is just what I needed to know! I’m new as an author there so I’m not entirely familiar with the terminology used and the process/system yet (in Wattpad it’s not as necessary, you just throw it in the historical fic category put the subject name in the title and you’re done). Yes I found the custom tags to be a bit tricky, I added some on my first fic uploaded to AO3 and had a hard time getting them to stick lol thanks so much again for the detailed response 🙏🏼

Anyone know how I can upload a historical fiction story to AO3? The subject is JFK (and maybe RFK too for another story). I have them on Wattpad but I know people have been able to upload fics of The Kennedys and other historical figures on AO3 and some ppl asked me if I could upload my stories there to avoid the ads on Wattpad.

For Heaven Can’t Wait I obviously chose the Kingdom of Heaven option in the fandoms box, even though HCW for me is more like historical fiction since it is more based on the real people and events rather than their movie counterparts. But what of these? Should I just put it as if it is a “The Kennedys (2011)” fic?

Or what would I have to put in that box to make it work for a fully historical fic story?
