tumblr I have no one to get advice from- help.

so what if you meet a girl on a dating app, you connect on all the important things and say you want to get to know each other in a gay way.

you hang out 3 times so far and have plans for her to come over to your house to make dinner next week.

you’ve talked about lots of important moral and personal things. but you’ve never called your meetups dates and kinda just dance around what y’all are doing?

and when you first met, she said she had only talked with a few people from that dating app before you and one JUST wanted to date and she didn’t love that, and so now you’re scared to ask if she’s even interested in that bc you don’t want to push anything.

and you’ve only known one another for a month so you don’t want to be too sudden.

but tonight she has her (not most recent) ex boyfriend over. she said she always found him incredibly unattractive but they would talk for hours. and I assume they’re talking for hours bc she hasn’t responded to you in hours, which is absolutely valid.

but the whole thing just sends you into a spiral but also you have no right to be paranoid about this. this paranoia is your own personal problem you need to work through. and just something you’ll probably always deal with now because of past situations.

but you just feel like you would be regretful if she found someone else because you were too anxious to talk about how you were feeling, but she isn’t doing that either. and you’re going at her pace bc she’s the one that just had her long term now ex boyfriend move out and you don’t want to rush her.

and you don’t want to bring all this up next week bc what if it makes her uncomfortable and she’s stuck two hours away from home at your house? but what if you bring it up before then and then next week is awkward or doesn’t happen at all?

is it weird to say you’d love to submit an application to be her partner? bc you would.

but she’s a self admitted people pleaser so what if she just goes along with whatever bc she doesn’t want to hurt you? or what if she feels the same but is just too scared to say?

you continuously seem to always feel the same way about things. but in the past you’ve thought that same thing about a person but it turned out to not really be true.

you forget people lie. sometimes for good reasons, but nonetheless they lie. you don’t want to seem like an absolute fool again.

so what does one do??
