From what I understand, I don’t believe she’s actually really bonded with UB. Which satisfied both UB (especially A, and very much M) and her. Apparently, the team was rather close with their previous handler, and that didn’t turn out so well

Rebecca was around, but I believe she really let UB operate on their own (there was a comment with the team appreciating that). That being said, she has been there whenever they’ve needed her, and especially in some tough situations

It was a surprise to them that she has a child, but it might be because most people who have people they’re close with in their lives might mention them

And from what I gather, if there was anyone that Rebecca would have been the closest with (which probably isn’t even really all that close at all), it would have been N. Probably because of effort on N’s part

To most members of the Forest Watchers, imagining their chief officer in a relationship is near impossible. It isn't that he'd be terrible in a relationship. No, actually, they think that he'd be an amazing partner. Though he can be strict, he's caring and reliable, observant and level-headed. Really, he's the complete package! It's just... Nobody has ever seen him show interest in anyone. And the few that showed interest in him and tried to flirt were swiftly shut down without mercy. Most agree that love seems to be the last thing on his mind.

What many are not aware of, however, is that as much as he isn't looking for a relationship, he isn't exactly not looking for a relationship either. Really, Tighnari isn't against falling in love. He sees its merits. He knows the comfort and satisfaction it brings. But it isn't something he exactly needs. Simply put, he's satisfied with what he has. He enjoys his life. He doesn't need more. Still, while he doesn't see the need to be in a relationship, should it come his way, he really wouldn't be all that against it if they're a good match. But there's no need to rush. It'll happen when the time comes.

That being said, should he become interested in someone, don't expect much fanfare or bombastic displays of affection. Don't expect him to play any games either. 1) marc-édouard vlasic (pickles) is sorta like our resident cody ceci in that he's seen as a bit of a disaster and catches a lot of friendly fire for it (he used to be really good... ouhh... the passage of time.... and honestly he wasn't even the worst dman we put on the ice this past season LOL) anyway we cherish him dearly for his bitchy auras and divorcee swag!!

2) and uh last season on account of all our guys getting disease of bonebroken we stapled William Eklund to Luke Kunin, i think just so we had two lines that wouldn't get completely smoked (they still got smoked). kunin is analytically Fucking Terrible and watching him play is Also Terrible BUT management love him bc he brings the ""intangibles"" and fights a lot and fun trivia for people who didnt watch sharks games: somehow he was always where one of our d-men should've been when we inevitably gave up a rush chance........hes defending women (goalies) in stem (net) . WE love him because sometimes hockey aint about silly things such as scoring goals... backchecking effectively... not losing your man in dzone coverage... sometimes its about being a personality hire and glue-guy <3 (also hes married to Sophia Shaver, hence: goonwag) because wekky was forced to play w him on a line we think of him like the training wheels for every prospect now....macklin celebrini are u ready for ur leg weights....

and its like HOW can we make this trade as funny as possible? we r puttign these guys in situations.. proposed outcomes so far: ceci-pickles shambling corpse senior dog pairing or make ceci our d-man equivalent of luke kunin and pair him with one of our youth.

established sskk where a sick and delirious akutagawa hears atsushi mention dazai for whatever reason and immediately goes into threat mode, staggering to his feet and grabbing his coat so he can protect himself, looking absolutely terrified, and when atsushi asks what he’s doing aku says something like “you didn’t do anything wrong. he can hurt me instead.”

needless to say atsushi has questions. but those questions will probably have to wait until he can get his partner out of cornered-animal mode and into bed because poor boy looks like he’s about to collapse on the spot

We should have had Morzan alive. I mean yeah, it would fuck up the whole narrative but imagine Murtagh being afraid of his father. He hates the king but fears his father.

Imagine him and Thorn; Morzan sees them, and he has problems with booze in canon, just how drunk he'd have gotten after Thorn learned to talk? There he is with his nameless dragon, half of his heart and soul, that he had to watch descend into stupidity. (Does he have its name written up here and there, does he watch it every day just to think about how he could make it real again?) Would he dream of killing his son and taking his dragon to himself? Would he want that even though he despises that sick joke of a connection that is in between Galbatorix and Shruikan?

And then Galbatorix finally discovers the name of the names. How would he beg for the king to use it to heal his companion?

Also, it would be very funny to watch our main characters run for their lives with an angry dragon after them, but y'know.

Should I write a fic about this

Oh you absolutely should write a fic about this (and let me know when you do! I’d love to read it!), and I should go back through my WIPs to find my time travel AUs…

I usually write more about Selena than Morzan, but I do love the idea of getting to see grown-up Murtagh’s reaction to seeing his father, especially in a context where Murtagh has lived without him for a while—whether that’s because Brom didn’t kill Morzan and Selena got both her sons to Carvahall, or because resurrection or time travel shenanigans happened.

As for Morzan still being around when Murtagh gets captured… I think there’s a 50/50 chance he gets Real Weird about the torture, in a “I was pretty sure up to this point that I didn’t actually care about my son but now my best friend is torturing My Son and I don’t like it actually” way, and I think that would be really fun to explore; I think, also, that when Thorn hatches and Galbatorix prematurely increases his size, Morzan would again be Real Weird about it because, like, that’s a baby dragon the size of an adult. He hasn’t lost his name, he just hasn’t really developed one yet; he’s a weird, warped mirror of Morzan’s own dragon. And when Thorn does, eventually, with difficulty, start to ‘grow up’, Morzan’s probably going to get twitchy about it—it’s been at least a century, more than two thirds of his lifespan, since he’s even MET a somewhat psychologically stable dragon; how much has he forgotten of their true intelligence, their real personalities? And when Galbatorix does find The Word, if Morzan asks him to heal his own dragon… honestly I don’t know if Galbatorix would be able to. Having power and knowing how to use it are two different things, we saw Murtagh figure that out in his own book with The Word. Would the king even know where to start? Would he allow Morzan to try for himself? Morzan probably wouldn’t have a clue where to begin, all we ever hear about him from people who’d met him is that he’s a powerful spellcaster, but not a very clever one.

Honestly, the whole situation might drive Morzan to split from Galbatorix; and even if not, it would still probably drive Morzan to be extremely destructive, to himself and everyone around him.

Also he’d be so pissed to learn about Eragon’s true parentage. Not even in a “my wife cheated on me?!” way but in a “oh my god can Brom stop being SO OBSESSED with me for FIVE MINUTES” kind of way.

In your waterpark Au... Do Sun and Moon let high school students volunteer as lifeguards during the summer? I could see Sun and Moon proudly bragging about their students to random people at the park and said kids behind them trying to get them to stop or just plain groaning in embarrassment. Without saying too much (I am currently writing the au shhhhh) I will tell you unfortunately for most the past and the current present there are no human staff and the waterpark is entirely run and maintained by animatronics.

Sun and Moon as well as all the Tiki bots were designed to also fill the role as the park’s lifeguards, many robot eyes are constantly surveying the premise’s. The tiki bots are able to pull people from the water but only sun and moon are designed to perform CPR (I talk a little more about this in a previous ask)

Butttttt If the boys did have human staff they would absolutely be bragging as well as messing with them. The teens would especially be embarrassed by the boys praises and smothering in front of all the parks guests while they’re still on shift. The boys have no shame in expressing their fondness for the staff. All employees would be family no matter how short their time there may have been, Sun and Moon will always remember. They never forget a face after all hehe.
