You look at the mirror once again, your patience running thin. After a long while, you were back in your home country, and it didn't take long before your relatives began to invite you and your husband to numerous events. Today was one of those social-battery-draining nights, and the fact that your saree wouldn't cooperate wasn't helping at all.

At this point you could throw this away and tuck yourself in the comfort of your blanket, neglecting the event. But just as that thought crossed your mind, the cloth finally tucked in the correct way and all your frustration faded into relief.

“Can I come in, angel?” Your husband knocked on the door, waiting for your consent. Taken aback, you take a quick look in the mirror and check your saree.

“Yes, come— NO WAIT!” you shout as you notice your saree slipping off your shoulders. But you catch it right on time, then turn around to look at Jeonghan with a laugh.

“Why? What happened?” He asked with a small amused smile, making his way to you with his hands in the pockets of his pants that you had chosen for him specifically for this event.

“It's so difficult to get this done,” you sighed, trying to pin the saree properly, glancing at your perfectly groomed husband through the mirror—as if silently pleading for him to help you. His smile widened as soon as your eyes met, and his hands travelled from his pockets to your shoulders as he took the pin from your hand and effortlessly pinned the saree in its place.

“Thank you, Hannie. I love you!” You chirp, turning around for a quick second to peck his cheek with a grin. Jeonghan stared at you, his lips widening into a soft, shy smile, and the amusement in his eyes grew.

He stopped himself from smiling. “Hmm, so you only love me because I helped you?” He teased as he rested his chin on your shoulder, his voice softer and quieter, as if he was still drinking in the sight of you. He has many favourite things about you—but you in your traditional attire could take his soul away and he'd be glad.

“I— no! I didn't mean it like that.” You glanced up at the mirror with a frown, adjusting your saree.

He stared for a moment, then broke into a smile again. “I know, baby.” He said, leaning in to leave a kiss on your cheeks that lingered for a little longer. You offered a pouty smile before indulging yourself in doing your makeup.

“I love this… sse.. sera on you.” He murmured hesitantly, wrapping his arms around your waist smoothly. You burst out laughing, turning your head to find a very confused and cute Jeonghan who was half smiling and half pouting.

“Oh my god— come here,” you turned around fully, grabbing his arm to pull him closer. Then, you cupped his cheeks gently with a bright, beautiful grin.

“Saree. It's called saree, love.” You explained softly, and watched as his cheeks and ears slowly turned red, his lips twitching into a very, very shy smile.

“Saree.” He repeated in a low, gentle voice. “You look really pretty in this saree.”

Your eyes couldn't leave his face. His big brown perfectly almond shaped eyes, his cheeks and ears incredibly red, the rare sight of his shy smile and his soft plumpy lips that you want to feel against yours right now.

“Did I pronounce it wrong again?” He asked softly as he noticed you staring at him without a response. You shake your head, and wrap your hands around the back of his neck to gently pull him in for a kiss. It's quick, sweet and lovely, and definitely worth it the moment you pull away and catch sight of an incredibly affected Jeonghan.

“No, Hannie, you're perfect. I think I should call you a professional desi from today onwards.” You grin, watching him drop his head low with a chuckle.

“You're exaggerating,” he murmured sweetly.

“No way, you know I'm not lying,” you're quick to deny. He opens his mouth to say something, but you shut him up with a long, soft kiss. “You’re a professional desi, you can't convince me otherwise.”
