Teacher tell named cards "Titan battle", but it honestly stupid, because some small dudes also included in series, like Tullymonster or Hallucigenia. Honest name for cards can be "Strange animal from past (and bad trip)". But you can't change past.

And the final piece for today, helicoprion. I was going to just paint the tooth whorl itself, but instead I decided to paint the world's goofiest-looking fish.

Unfortunately won't have time for anything except quick doodles today, but the Mayleozoic prompt is Helicoprion, and I wanted to pay homage to its many delightfully outdated reconstructions. They are like little guys to me.

I'll probably refine/add to this at some point and make it a pattern on my redbubble so consider this a WIP I guess?

I may not have the time this month to do a proper daily challenge, but nothing is stopping me from doing select prompts from daily challenges I enjoy.

I thought that @requinoesis' sharktober prompt list was pretty fun, so I knew I had to do at least one of the prompts from it! The one that caught my eye the most was day 21's Steampunk shark. I immediately knew exactly what I was going to draw: it would be a steampunk helicoprion machine with the tooth whorl being replaced with a gear. And that's exactly what I did. Hope you like it!
