Acanthodes (C) - Squatinactus (C) - Falcatus (C)
Helicoprion (P) - Ptychodus (K) - Edestus (C)

Desided slowly upload one stude project: PALEOCARDS. This post about kings: Spino, Hatzegopteryx, Helicoprion, Wolly Mammoth...
Teacher tell named cards "Titan battle", but it honestly stupid, because some small dudes also included in series, like Tullymonster or Hallucigenia. Honest name for cards can be "Strange animal from past (and bad trip)". But you can't change past.

And the final piece for today, helicoprion. I was going to just paint the tooth whorl itself, but instead I decided to paint the world's goofiest-looking fish.
[ID: A pixel art depiction of the extinct fish helicoprion, seen here from the gills forward. The animal is depicted in various cool colors, with white and dull yellow for accentuation. /ID]

Unfortunately won't have time for anything except quick doodles today, but the Mayleozoic prompt is Helicoprion, and I wanted to pay homage to its many delightfully outdated reconstructions. They are like little guys to me.
I'll probably refine/add to this at some point and make it a pattern on my redbubble so consider this a WIP I guess?
[ID: Five cartoony, simplified drawings of different versions of Helicoprion, a shark-like animal with a whorl of sharp teeth. In each of the different reconstructions, the tooth whorl is in a different placement on the body. One of them has a lower jaw that ends in a spiral of teeth below its body, one has the tooth spiral at the end of its nose, and one has it at the end of one of its tail fins. There is also one whose body is notably small compared to its tooth whorl, which comes out of its mouth, and one with a saw-like projection of teeth at the end of a very long bottom jaw. Each of them has a different color and pattern, though all are done in shades of blue, gray, and brown. The background is light blue. End ID.]
