Pampaphoneus swimming.
Pampaphoneus biccai is a brazillian anteosaur that lived in the middle Permian, about 268 - 265 million years ago. Hailing from the Rio do Rasto Formation, it would have lived in what is called a interdunal wetland - that is, a environment of temporary lakes and bodies of water surrounded by dunes.

i love horror in paleoart, it鈥檚 my favorite thing to draw tbh.
here鈥檚 the speedpaint (references used in there are from Dino and Dog Sculptures and Gabriel Ugueto!)
