i get WHY the hunter has to talk in mhrise onwards, a talking player character can tell you things and provide audio cues, but i was thinking in the shower about how a lot of mhwilds is about communicating with isolated villagers and lynians and every character speaks perfect english and it gets really jarring. i feel it would be more immersive and interesting if the hunter was nonverbal like in every other game, and had to communicate with the villagers in gestures and sign language
