Anyway! For the aspect of the sun I wanted to cover for the Sun Shard, I went with the how it interacts with plants! So went with a sunflower design for it.

Not much more to say on it really! It learns Synthesis upon evolution.

The new Pokémon introduced a new Berry called a Yonu Berry. It activated when the Pokémon holding it was at 50% HP. Unfortunately, the text describing the effect was completely incomprehensible. It was just a string of words that seemed grammatically correct but meant nothing.

As someone who's gotten verrry good at the first two PMD games I wanted to give the input that Ingo's strategy is honestly not far off the mark- scanning for items can be very useful, especially if you happen to be a hoarder like I am and pack light for the dungeon ahead. Also yeah, starving tends to happen if you're conservative with your resources, not a big deal though usually.

Sometimes Ingo prepares so much for the dungeon ahead in anticipation of all the items they’ll need to take back with them, that it loops back around to being entirely unprepared for the long haul (<- I do this more often than I should).

Haha I make Ingo a fan of thorough exploration because I’m also a fan of doing it and I’m really the one who insists on scouring every single floor. I love looking for rare items, searching out battles with a specific pokemon to recruit them, farming treasure boxes, and razing monster houses!! So yes among that, I am also a fellow hoarder lol, and I do also pack very light for dungeons to save as much room as possible for whatever I pick up.

Hunger mechanic just really gets in the way sometimes which is why I’m looking hard for the tight belt item right now, it eliminates the hunger points going down entirely (except for a few exceptions I think?) I NEED THAT ITEM!!

Frederick’s 30 Days Day 5: Do you have any off brand / atypical lolita pieces that you use often in your coords?

Yes! This vintage Gunne Sax blouse pops up all the time (along with other vintage/offbrand blouses)- I also like using offbrand printed long sleeved tops for casual coords in cooler months.

I think these three items are my most frequent offbrand/non jfashion things I wear- vintage Gunne Sax blouse, vintage apron, and bustier I sewed lace on (I think from H&M or Target?)

I couldn’t find a coord where I’m wearing all three together (although I’m sure I have), but here’s the blouse and bustier with a Baby skirt (and I’m pretty sure the cherry clips from below are clipped on my headdress too).

I also tend to use a lot of Liz Lisa items, and other himekaji brand stuff like bags, sweaters/cardigans, shoes, and cutsews: a lot of them fit perfectly into lolita IMO even if they’re not from a lolita brand.

Older coord with Liz Lisa cutsew and bag (I have this bag in pink and bordeaux and I wear them all the time), Ank Rouge beret, Honey Cinnamon jacket and offbrand socks I honestly don’t remember where I got.

Some hair accessories I wear a lot-

Either on their own in casual coords, or I tend to add the clips on to rectangle headdresses.

My favorite winter coat is also offbrand; this is from Collectif which does a lot of 1950’s inspired designs. (I also have an AP Bunny-chan coat, but as I wear more red than pink in winter it doesn’t get out as much sadly 😔 )

Mecheon - The Robotic Pokemon

Forgot to queue this one again, but caught it quicker so only a day late this time! Perhaps I will just change it to Sunday uploads.

Not much to say about this one, making at least one robot felt like a given! Honestly, had more trouble figuring out which item I thought felt best for it - it was between the Upgrade and Metal Coat. Decided the Upgrade had more robot vibes though!

Learns Charge Beam upon evolution.

I’m replaying act 1 (for the fifth time) and when Gale is explaining his condition to you he mentions he’s “never told another living soul” about it, except for Tara. You’re telling me this man shut himself up in his tower for an entire year and didn’t tell anyone why and no one ever bothered to find out? He has so few people who care about him in his life that he fell into a depression and disappeared for a year and NO ONE thought to go and check on him and find out what was wrong? He’s had no one but Tara providing help and support until he meets Tav???????
