I forgot to queue these, sorry for the delay orz

Anyway! For the aspect of the sun I wanted to cover for the Sun Shard, I went with the how it interacts with plants! So went with a sunflower design for it.

Not much more to say on it really! It learns Synthesis upon evolution.

Audrey found herself retreating into isolation. She skipped meals, skipped classes, and responded to her roommate only when directly addressed, spending her days in bed with the dorm enveloped in darkness.

"What do I do now?" she pondered endlessly. "I can't afford to have a baby… I can barely afford my classes…" The silence pressed on her, yet her thoughts echoed painfully loud.

Returning to Copperdale was a daunting prospect. The fear of judgment gnawed at her. "They'll all look at me and know… they'll know I was nothing but a failure. All that hard work to turn my life around, from being a delinquent on the brink of expulsion to graduating valedictorian, all for nothing…"

She restlessly shifted in her bed, staring at the somber walls. "Daniella and James will be furious," she thought, unable to even consider sharing the news with them.

"What are my options? Going back to my cramped trailer? I can't raise a child there! All those well-off families in Copperdale who recognize me will say, 'Oh yes, there's that teenager who used to spray paint and disrupt our town. She went off to college but now look at her, living alone in her trailer with a baby. I always knew she was a failure.'"

"I can't let them know," Audrey concluded, desperation in her voice. "They're my only friends… I need to get away."

people are drawing Steamboat Willie Mickey doing all this crazy shit and whatnot, but you could always do that. you can do that now, with current Mickey, just fine. it's fanart and it's legally protected. hell you could take Disney-drawn Mickey and put a caption about unions or whatever on it and it would still be protected under free speech and sometimes even parody law.

what is special about public domain is that you can SELL him. you could take a screenshot and sell it on a tshirt. you can use him to advertise your plumbing business. people have already uploaded and monetized the original film.

you could always have Mickey say what you want, but now you can profit off it.

To appear weak and frightened, to reassure the other tributes that he is no competition at all, and then come out fighting. - "You know what my mother said to me when she came to say good-bye, as if to cheer me up, she says maybe District Twelve will finally have a winner. Then I realized, she didn’t mean me, she meant you!” bursts out Peeta. “Oh, she meant you,” I say with a wave of dismissal. “She said, ‘She’s a survivor, that one.’ She is,” says Peeta.

You wouldn't think that I'd be brain-poisoned by video game speedrunning jargon, given that I didn't get into speedrunning until I was in my 30s, and surely that's too old for anything to have a formative influence upon one's vocabulary, but you'd be wrong: I am now cursed with the inescapable knowledge of how much the names of many 1990s indie rock groups and albums sound like the the names of obtuse precision platformer speed tech. You could tell me that "Neutral Milk Hotel" is the name of a trick in the current Celeste any%, and if I didn't already know that's a band I wouldn't question it.

Torreon - The Tidal Force Pokemon

Apologies for delay, forgot to finish up the post and schedule it!

Anyway, this is yet another of the many sun/moon related evolutions, using the Moon Shard from the Colosseum games. Will note I didn’t really factor much regarding the idea of these guys being Orre specific into this, so apologies if you were hoping for that.

Anyway, since a lot of the sun/moon evos are going to be pairs, I decided for the shards to make them not tied to each other and instead focus on unique aspects of the sun and moon respectively. For the moon, I chose to focus on the tide and how the moon affects it!

As for the sun? You’ll see next week!

As mid-summer approached, Audrey was jolted awake by a chilling realization.

Her education in Biology left no room for doubt: the culprit couldn't be a mere beer, her demanding schoolwork, or the cafeteria food.

The consequences of her extracurricular activities had finally caught up with her—Audrey was pregnant.

The weight of uncertainty about the other parent loomed over her, shrouding her in dread.
