Good morning Angie! It’s 4:39 pm so very much not neo I g but still!
Im so proud of you for gaining weight! Being at a helathy weight is very important and malnutrition sucks!
(I know it’s not at all the same thing, but I totally am super proud of you, when I started getting to a healthy weight it was such an experience especially being healthy part, you never notice how much vitamin deficiency sucks until you’re not deficient anymore lol)
Hdkfsjd good (not)morning! Thank you! I'm proud of myself too! And you're right, it is very important. I can definitely feel the difference, I'm a lot more energized than when we first got here. And I think it's the same for the other guys, too! As far as I can tell, at least.
We're turtles, so we can go a lot longer without proper food than humans can. So most of our rations went to the humans and children in the resistance. Our health suffered a little after a while, but it was worth it.

So Yesterday was day 5?
Yes it was. It was also the beggining of the weekend. I used to hate weekends. I lose control during the weekend. I binge during weekends. during the weeknd, the cycle was binge, restrict, repeat. To be honest, that was the cycle everyday. Im trying to break that cycle so I can have a healthier relationship with food. It's so hard. It's hard because I wnat yo lose weight but at the same tme I want to recover from my ED. I want to lose weight in a helathier way. It's so hard!! Yesterday was especially horrible. The urge to binge was so strong and i felt like I couldn't resist it. None the less, I was stronger. I didn't binge. But I didn't count my calories. That makes me nervous. How do I know I didn't binge if i don't know how many calories I ate? Deep down I know I didn't binge, I know I was under my deficit but it still makes me anxious. I also din't workout yesterday, I was a bit fatigued and overwhelmed but it's okay. Im proud of myself for not turning to food as a way to comfort myself and get rid of my anxiety. I did drink my water tho :) and I didn't have to wake up on time since it's the weekend. I pulled an all nighter lol
The quote for yesterday is "Keep going" it's such a basic one but I feel like it's one a lot of people(including me) need to hear.

ive literally only had junk food the last two days and it genuinly makes me feel like shit
like not in a "my stomach hurts" way, like a "i feel fat and i need to eat helathy" way
and ik its just my ED kickin my ass but like..
i was listening to other girls talk and they go "oh my highest weight ive been was during covid and i was 130LB"..
HOW.. bro i weigh currently 158.4LB..
😭
i already struggle with eating enough as it is with my ADHD and my ED doesnt help..
junk food is literally the only thing my body has let me keep down the last 2 days so.. 🥲
sorry im done ranting just needed that off my chest..
i should be grateful i even get to eat since i barely got food yesterday and someone else payed for my food today.. 🥹
-💗
Hun, i promise you you are beautiful and amazing the way you are right now. Weight doesn’t define that. And I know it’s hard with an ED and I’m sorry you have to go through that, but just know, no matter what you eat you are beautiful. You are not fat, you don’t need to cut carbs and go on a diet, you don’t have to do anything but take care of yourself and do what makes you happy.
I’m glad you’re eating love, don’t feel bad for eating junk for two days in a row. It’s food and your body needs it.

How important is health and fitness app in Dubai
Owing to the fast-paced lifestyle and growing consciousness of health and wellness in Dubai, health and fitness applications are becoming more and more significant. Given the hectic schedules of several inhabitants, these applications offer a practical means of incorporating exercise regimens into everyday existence. They make it simpler for people to maintain a healthy lifestyle by providing individualised exercise routines, tracking physical activity, and keeping an eye on food choices. Additionally, these apps frequently provide features like progress monitoring, community challenges, and virtual coaches, which can inspire users and strengthen their dedication to fitness objectives.
Furthermore, the government of Dubai's programmes to encourage a healthy way of living, such the Dubai Fitness Challenge, have increased the importance of fitness and health apps. These platforms promote public health initiatives by offering easily available resources for managing diet and exercise, hence improving population health overall. These applications' increased efficacy as a result of the incorporation of cutting-edge technology, such as AI and machine learning, has made them indispensable to Dubai's health and fitness scene. Now you know the importance of health, fitness and a fitness app. So start work out for your body to make a helathy and easy life. You can download Your Fitness Coach app the top health and fitness app Dubai you can register.

#Hashtag
Tumblr media
The connection that has been formed throughout history through the internet has transformed the way in which human beings communicate and interact by accessing different information around the world. It is also worth noting the variety of entertainment and multimedia content found in thousands of applications. According to Jones & Hafner (2012) support that digital technologies introduce us to a novelty of opportunities we can have (e.g., blogging, selling or buying products). Hashtags became popular in 2007 on the "Twitter" platform when one user used the hashtag (#) to create various thematic groups to make searching for the desired topic easier to find. Also, consumers started to use hashtags in large numbers to make it easier for their posts and other users interested in that topic to find the desired content. We found several platforms that use these hashtags as a tool to find, tag and categorise content uploaded to the internet (e.g., Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook). Hashtags have a wide variety of features, identifying specific content, promoting sweepstakes, linking related content, uniting different communities that share a common interest and promoting the participation of different users through discussions, questions or surveys.
Tumblr media
According to academics Kawasaki & Fitzpatrick (2015) claim that "hashtags are a valuable tool that through posts can create a wider audience by increasing the reach of topics". My first favourite hashtag is #travel, some of the characteristics of hashtags are the inspiration for other users to travel to visit new places, the diversity including the variety of destinations as well as the different styles of travel (e.g., backpacking or luxury), the experiences people have had when travelling to that new culture, the advice and recommendations they give when sharing their experiences and the large active community that exists on social networks allowing other people to share their thoughts. My second favourite hashtag is #helathy. Some of its characteristics when you search for this hashtag is the healthy style that people have by tagging related content (e.g., healthy food, sport, mental health), the motivation as the main theme for other users to join this lifestyle by sharing ideas and success stories. The tips and recommendations we find through this hashtag can help other people who feel identified to improve day by day. On the other hand, this hashtag can include the sale of products and services that users have on their accounts (e.g., selling healthy food, supplements, personal training website). The good thing about it, hashtags are affordable for all users, as they are totally free making it easier for users to find each other what they are interested in, you can also put many hashtags at once in a post making a post more visible. On the downside, hashtags are restricted on the page where you post (e.g. if you use the hashtag on Instagram it will only take you to related hashtags on that platform and not another) and many users use it in a derogatory or cruel way.

Catching Up
I can't believe I've not written anything since Bill arrived. We've been busy...
Bill's first week here kicked paperwork and such into high gear. Unfortunately, much of the paperwork and office visits resulted in absolutely no progress. There's so much we can't do until Bill has a cédula de extranjería. Oh, well...
Meanwhile we went on vacation with the fam. We left early on Saturday morning, around 4:30am, to drive to the Atlantic Coast. That was interesting: new car, unknown Colombian roads, Bill and my parents in the car. It was the hardest video game I ever played.
Here's how it goes: It's a first-person game and you are driving a car. The roads have lines marking the lanes but they don't really mean anything. The first level is leaving the city, easy-peasy. Next you go up the western side of the valley, the steeper one, on a road nicknamed Matasanos (helathy people killer). There are large trucks and buses on the road with you and there are only two lanes, one going in each direction, no median, negligible shoulder, frequent dips from the mountain slipping a bit, and a massive drop to the bottom of the valley to your right. To keep up with your teammates, you need to pass the trucks all the way to the top of the mountain. The way down is slightly less curvy and at the end of this stage you get breakfast. Absolutely the most delicious pandequesos ever.
The next stage involves another uphill trek, this one less steep, but potholes are introduced. And, on the downhill stretch, on the way to a place called Valdivia, the road is more like a giant stairway: relatively flat bits in between some of the steepest drops I've ever driven on. Also, bikes and tuk-tuks are introduced. You have to pass them without killing anyone.
From Valdivia on to Puerto Valdivia, the next level in the game, the road is curvy but flat, and now people selling stuff are introduced. Don't stop and don't kill anyone and keep up with the rest of the team driven by seasoned Colombian trekkers.
The next level lasts six hours. The drive is on the coastal plain, so flat and mostly straight, but the obstacles here are truly next level: Potholes big enough to swallow your car, donkey carts, dogs sleeping on the road, and cows. The cows can be just one or a whole herd blocking the road. And everything speeds up to about 120km/h. There are also trees along the side of the road, so it is hard to tell what is a pothole and what is a shadow from the trees. Sometimes they are mixed together.
As the game progresses, more and more motorcycles are introduced. There is a bonus level through a town called Lorica that must hold the world record for the number of motorcycles on the road at one time. Literally hundreds of them going in every direction at every speed and stopping to chat anywhere. Here you have to negotiate complex intersections mixing bikes, people, buses, and motorcycles. You can call a teammate for some help at this point. To save you the call, here's what you do: find a bigger vehicle going in the same direction and follow them bumper to bumper so you can travel in their wake.
Truly, the most challenging video game I've ever played.
But, to be honest, San Antero, the beach, the food, and all the time sleeping in the shade in a hammock was worth the 10 hours in the car.
I'll add pix to the next post, and then we'll get into the return trip. Kick up the obstacles into high gear the second time you play this game.
