Mosspelt and Whiteclaw become warriors. 

I totally forget to have a Queen give birth to Shadekit and Heavykit last season, so we’ll say some random rogue dropped them off this season, at a season old. This helps establish RiverClan as a place that takes in kits, which will allow Sasha to be accepted rather quickly in the future as well. 

Mistyfoot gives birth to her litter of kits, Reedkit, Primrosekit, Pikekit, and Perchkit. Loudbelly is their father. 

Sedgecreek dies, likely from some sort of border skirmish. Shadekit drowns after sneaking out, maybe to search for the rogue mother that left her and Heavykit - and Echomist drowns alongside her, trying to save her.

I want to talk about the moms in warriors that just name their kids stupid stuff. Like I love a pretty warrior name as much as the next guy, but I want a main character who had a mother who didn't care enough bout the names or thought it was pretty but the rest of the clan just does not agree. Like imagine like. Hotkit. Lifekit. Breathkit. Badkit. Catkit. These are awful examples but you know what I mean.

Cats don't have human beauty standards, at least in Whisperclan. A parent of a heavy or big kitten may wish their child grows into a tanky and immovable warrior with great strength which is a benefit in battle, not a flaw

whenever i join a warriors rp with strict "traditional" naming rules like no compound names, no names that don't fit kits, no names that don't make sense etc i think about how the first arc presumably had 3 runningkits, 2 tallkits, a white kit named blackkit, a black kit named whitekit, a grey kit named yellowkit, crookedkit, longkit, onekit, stumpykit, halfkit, tornkit, deadkit, loudkit, brokenkit, wetkit, heavykit, and sandstorm which i'm particularly aggrieved about because no compound nouns for names is such a stupid restriction. the books never had rules about names strictly fitting appearance and making literal sense that's a complete myth lol

Starting Allegiances

these are what the allegiances look like for the day rusty meets graypaw, bluestar, and lionheart for the first time!

i stayed up until 5am finishing this last night, because not only did i do research looking for every single cat that was or could have been alive at the time, but i also wanted to put them in age order (the only exception for this is boulder, who he and russetfur joined shadowclan while wolfstep and foxheart were apprentices, and while russetfur is younger than wolfstep, boulder is actually more about ashheart, newtspeck, and frogtail's age)

i'm not doing "books" exactly, they'll be more in like "parts" or "acts," so every time a major point in the story ends will be when i update the allegiances! the next allegiance update will be after brokenstar and his followers are ran out of shadowclan and windclan returns

"Have you named them?" Ermineclaw demanded, never taking his eyes off their kits. 

"Give me a moment." She sighed in exasperation. "I've hardly just got finished popping them out!" 

"Oh- yes, I know I just... I was hoping you hadn't yet so that I might be allowed to be involved."

"Of course you can. I'm guessing that means you have suggestions?"

"Just the one..." Ermineclaw suddenly looked bashful. "I've been thinking of it for a while, actually."

"What is it?"

He averted his gaze, nose, and ears turning pinker. "W-Willowkit... after the willow tree, you and I... um... first met properly..."

Snailstep felt a warm wave of love as she gazed at her mate. The willow tree, the roots of which they had washed up against when they'd both been swept away by the river together. The branches had been what had saved them, and the trunk had kept them sheltered as they recovered.

"You soft sap," she said teasingly. "Look at you being all sentimental and romantic."

"If you don't like it, just say so!" Ermineclaw snapped, refusing to look anywhere at her. 

"I do, though... I like it very much." She touched the tiny golden-colored kit with her nose. "Let's name our she-kit that." 

Ermineclaw turned his head to look at her, offering her a long, slow blink before looking back down at his kits. "and the boy?" He purred. "He's quite the little rolly-polly, isn't he? Much bigger than his sister by half!"

"He's massive, isn't he? How about Heavykit? Or maybe Heftykit? Roundkit?"

"Absolutely not!" Ermineclaw harumphed. "He needs something more subtle and refined and not so... so blunt! This is why I'm glad I didn't let you come up with names!"

Snailstep purred. "I was only kidding, relax!" She closed her eyes a moment. When she opened them, she spoke.

"How about Almondkit? He's got brown fur, and he's round like an almond."

"That... that is suitable. I will accept that." Ermineclaw muttered.

"Willowkit and Almondkit." Snailstep leaned down and nuzzled her kits. "Welcome to Shadowclan, little ones."

Insecure, good storyteller, natural intuition

Bio below:

Extremely close with Dahliadusk but doesn't acknowledge her as a potential mate. Consistently has the worst taste in romantic interests. Used to hate clan leadership when she was young, but has become quite affectionate with Laurelstar, Midnightprance, and Sleettooth later in life. Nearly died in a sand pit at 122 moons. Rejected Mollie's proposal once but later accepted it when she became an elder. Mollie gave birth to Heavykit after a difficult pregnancy.

After Mollie joined Starclan, Bogspeckle entertained thoughts of moving on. She would not live long enough to do so, however, and reunited with Mollie in Starclan after wandering out of camp one night.

am i insane for making my boyfriend change tge name of one of their clangen kits bc my favourite one died within minutes of being born so i picked the kitten with the worst name and said "ok shes my new favourite change her name". bán says im insane. i say heavykit had gods favour (me) (gods boyfriend) but died too early so heavykit2 is HONOURING HER MEMORY and also has gods favour now. because bán wouldnt mod the game to get my kitten back

(I had all this written out... then I didn't save... I am going to cry...)

Crookedbracken's grief has gotten so bad that they now have an actual physical stomach ache because of it. The medicine cats are concerned.

Frostfreckle has given birth to two tiny kits. Pumpkinkit and Runningkit. This will be their last litter or they will be boxing their mate over the head.

Primwave has recovered from their whitecough.

Primewave has also tried to confess to Swiftspark but they were rejected.

Shimmerfreckle's leg has healed with no scar in sight.

Cragshadow was out on a morning walk when they were suddenly jumped by a fox. In their mad scramble to get away and up a tree, the fox managed to chomp on their tail, leaving it mangled.

Whisperpeak's whitecough is gone.

Sunnybird and Dazzlenest have recovered from frostbite but were left with a scar.

Hemlockpelt is expecting kits!

Whiteice and Hailleaf have survived yellowcough.

Garlicclaw joins the elders! They happily settle down in the nest next to their new mate Wolverinepeak. They both look forward to living their sunset moon together.

Conchpaw has been named Conchblaze and honored for their composure.

Riverkit, Weaselkit, Hyacinthkit, and Heavykit stand trembling as they are all made apprentices. Riverpaw is given to Waterice, Weaselpaw is given to Riversand, Hyacinthpaw is given to Redocean, and Heavypaw is given to Hailleaf.

Jumblekit sits nervously at pools edge. Their littermates had just been apprenticed but they were left out of the ceremony this far. Were they going to be apprenticed at all?

(This is where I lost ALL of my progress so I will instead summarize what I can remember)

Jumblepaw becomes the new medicine cat apprentice under Fleckrustle.

(I had a whole thing where Fleckrustle had received visions and was even visited by Stormflicker to tell them that Jumblepaw was the one but it's all gone now)

Several cats become mates.

Shoreeagle has died due to an unexpected fox attack.

Pumapaw, Bearpaw, Pheasantpaw, and Gardeniapaw all become apprentices.

Sloepaw finally had their warrior ceremony and they are very proud of themselves. They are now Sloepelt.

Hilltalon found an abandoned kitten and adopted it. They named the kit Blizzardkit.

Quietpaw has also become a warrior named Quietmask.

Sprucefeather also died because of a snake bite.

Flaxpaw and Frecklepaw have also become warriors named Flaxstripe and Frecklecry.

Dolphinfade and Hemlockpelt have created Barnaclekit.
