this one is pretty decent I think. I'm just in the mood to listen to dark synth lately and it's hard to find a playlist that cater to my taste. This one is quite close but I'm making one anyway because there are many song that is more filthier that didn't make to this playlist.

Paul Riedl has proven to be one of the preeminent sonic purveyors of New Age bliss and cosmic ambient vibes. His late night zone out recordings are in stark contrast to his work as frontman for the cosmic death metal band Blood Incantation. Though the band’s last release, 2022s Timewave Zero, was all brooding analog synths and black hole symphonies, its DNA based in Riedl’s already solo endeavors…

black metal is funny cuz when I first started I was like "yeah all of its good it all sounds mostly the same anyways" but after a while, I've gotten so picky. when I started I would've been like "yeah this sounds pretty standard and fine" now I'm like "what the FUCK is this alien theme song ass keyboard notes in the background bruh this band fucking sucks" "these vocals sound like dogshit, too blackened death metal sounding for me" "the production quality is too good I can hear the instruments. they must be posers" "where's double bass drums" would've sounded like scrawled ramblings i'd find on the walls of a psychiatric inpatient ward to me a while ago

Huh?? Oh, no. no offense to anyone who likes it, (and this might shoot me in the foot later, but eh) Not a big fan of the company behind it, I think they do some icky stuff I'd rather stay away from as much as possible (Nfts, those are a big ew from me. .)

OH! I do want to clarify, I mean the heads of the company, the business decision makers. not the people working on actually making the game. props to all the Voice cast, and the crew behind the actual creation, on making a game that definitely resonates with people, just not my thing.

Was listening to this new song put up at the end of April by a band I was introduced to via @nugothrhythms (who I now rely on to tell me where to find cool new spooky tunes). I was trying to place where I'd heard the hook before, and realised it was strongly reminding me of the Killers' 'In The Car Outside'! It's really interesting how a few bars of melody can sound so different depending on the instruments and song that surround them.

Anyway, give this a listen, it's a bop.
