Describe your methodology on how you would come up to a social media post. ( 1-2 paragraphs)
When coming up with a social media post, I would first plan out my content for a week a or so. It helps the page stay active regardless of whether there's a celebration or a sale going on. I make sure that posts are engaging and are consistent to the brand's voice (if its already established). Posts should also be benefit-driven. What will the reader or the brand gain from certain posts and interactions to make sure there's a return from the time and money invested on it. Its also beneficial to use images that will represent he business well.
List 3 Do's and 3 Don'ts of Social Media Marketing To Consider
Do's
Capitalize on trending topics. Make sure that the interaction will gain positive response from the audience.
Choose your platform. Your platform will determine your target audience and identify your brand voice.
Engage with followers. Make sure that you're not just posting on the page, but you're also taking your time to answer direct messages and comments. A simple like and comment back will be appreciated by a customer who took time to comment on or your post.
Don'ts
Spam followers. As much as regular posting is important, limiting the number of posts per week or even per day is also crucial. Don't overwhelm followers and keep things professional.
Delete negative comments. You won't be able to please every customer. Instead, use that to help the brand improve by directly addressing the issue.
Share without researching. Before sharing something, research the source and the information. Be mindful of which posts you are sharing and make sure that you are okay with being associated with the original poster.
