Maybe diving head first into a rapidly disappearing portal in pursuit of the Phantom Menacetm was something she could’ve thought about a little longer. Because, though it was generally a good thing Valerie didn’t know when to quit, it also tended to lend her in difficult situations. This time she had landed herself in a strange city with no idea of how to get back home.

Worse still, Phantom and his furry partner in crime were nowhere to be found which mean she couldn’t threaten them into answering her questions.

“Alright, Val,” she muttered. “You can do this.”

She looked around wearily, noticing the seedy atmosphere of the urban landscape she’d found herself in. Valerie turned towards the other end of the unfamiliar dirty alley and spotted a shadowed figure.

“Hello?” Valerie called out but the person didn’t move.

The teen hesitated a bit before approaching slowly. “Hi, sir?” She tried again.

There was still no answer, so Valerie walked up to the figure. She side-stepped to place herself in front of the figure to find herself facing what looked like a teenage girl wearing an oversized purple hoodie and sweatpants.

“Hey,” Valerie repeated, waving her hand in front of the girl’s face. “Are you ok?”

The girl’s eyes widened as she looked up into Valerie’s visor. “You can see me?”

Valerie frowned behind her helmet. “Uh, yeah?”

“You can see me,” the girl repeated, her blue eyes, wide.

“Uh,” Valerie let out. “Do you need help?” She couldn’t help but ask though she herself was in a pickle already, the girl was clearly in distress.

“No, it’s just-“ the girl’s voice hitched. “Nobody has been able to see me.”

Valerie raised a hand to pat the girl on the shoulder awkwardly, as she didn’t know what to say to that but as she did, her hand passed straight through the girl as if she wasn’t even there.

“What the-” Valerie almost cursed.

“Are you a medium?” The girl asked, uncaring of the fact someone had just put a hand through her shoulder. “Please I need your help.”

“My help,” the teen vigilante repeated blankly as she struggled to reconcile her previous encounters with ghosts and this very human-looking girl in front of her.

“I think-” the girl started haltingly before taking in a steadying breath. “I think I died.”

The Gramoryans were paradox eaters that used to be monitored by the Time Lords but began to run amok after the Last Great Time War. They collected important historical people and kill those who they deemed insignificant. They were attracted to Tudor Era England when the Monk disguised himself as King Henry VIII. Paradox anxiety refers to the fear of falling under the influence of the Faction Paradox if someone caused a paradox. In more extreme cases, people might believe they had already caused a paradox and were thus already under Faction Paradox control. (Novel: The Book of War)

While not a declared "war" that Gallifrey took part in, the Quantum Archangel was created by fusing a human with the energy of the Lux Aeterna, the quantum foam making up reality. This resulted from the Master trying to use a TITAN Array to rejuvenate his body and destroy the Chronovores. The Quantum Archangel became basically an omnipotent goddess with the ability to create pocket universes and rewrite history. She intended to get rid of suffering by putting everyone in their own individual pocket universes and letting them live their best lives possible. (Novel: The Quantum Archangel)

To fight the Quantum Archangel, the Sixth Doctor bathed in the Lux Aeterna himself to get the same powers. He went to the higher dimensions and tried to make her see reason. This failed, so the two of them did battle on a truly cosmic scale, using entire suns and planets as weapons. The Doctor in his godly form and Kronos managed to revert the Quantum Archangel back into her human form (Novel: The Quantum Archangel)

The Ninth Doctor told Rose he was 900 years old because during the Last Great Time War, such as during the Battle of Rodan's Wedding, years became ammunition. The Doctor could remember being aged to five million years old when hit by one volley of shrapnel and then being de-aged to a baby by the next. Because of this mess, the Doctor could not be sure of his exact age but decided that he "felt" about a thousand years old, which he rounded to 900. (Short story: Doctor Who and the Time War) If you recall from TV: The Invasion of Time, Rodan was a Gallifreyan who was responsible for maintaining the transduction barrier.

The Bygone Horde was made up of all the species that had been erased from existence during the Last Great Time War, surviving only as a memory. They planned on returning to existence using the sacrifice of the human race, but the Ninth Doctor and Adam Mitchell stopped them. (Audio: The Other Side)

Ollistra attached an artron leash to the War Doctor, thus linking him to herself. These artron leashes were made by Gallifrey and forced the person on the receiving end - in this case the War Doctor - to stay close to the other. The Fifth Doctor was forced to lead a military campaign against Morbius during the Civil War. He took on the alias the Supreme Coordinator (or the Supremo) and led a large army composed of Ice Warriors, Draconians, Sontarans, Ogrons, and Cybermen. The Supreme Coordinator had such a big impact on those in his command that the Sontaran Battle Major Streg sacrificed himself to save the Supremo in battle. His last words were ones of thanks to the Supremo for giving him a glorious death in a legendary battle. (Novel: Warmonger)

An additional Time War was averted during the Eleventh Doctor's era. This clearly caused the Doctor a lot of distress, causing him to break down alone in his TARDIS and speak about how he didn't want to be a Warrior again. (Audio: Daleks Victorious)

A predicted timeline of this averted Time War suggested by a sentient Dalek time machine (named Tim) stated that the best end to this war (and the way to destroy the Daleks) would involve Valarie going back in time and changing her own personal history. The Loomstacks on Gallifrey 8 became so overworked during the War in Heaven that thick black smoke blocked out the sun over the Capitol. The books: describes Yin Yu as the most normal looking person on the face of the earth. So normal Xie Lian thinks he is not a real person but a form He Xuan takes. Just a completely normal looking dude. Not beautiful or ugly just average.

The donghua team (probably kicking their feet and twirling their hair and giggling I imagine): so we made the choice to give Yin Yu pink eyes. A definitely completely normal eye-color. See how normal he is.

Quan Yizhen is going to look more "normal" than Yin Yu

I keep seeing posts about Speedwagon's height every now and then spreading the wrong assumption that he's short even though Speedwagon is canonly shown and stated to be on the taller side (around 180cms or 5'11 tall, more exactly).

For one, there's the character height chart from Battle Tendency (credit to the Wiki for the pic). Even in his old age (and not counting his hat), Speedwagon is shown to be taller than Lisa Lisa (she's 175cms or 5'9) and slightly shorter than Caesar (he's 186cms or 6'1).

He's also depicted to be on the taller side on every side-by-side shot he gets with other characters in both anime and manga for Parts 1 and 2, and where he's shown to be a bit taller than other characters like Straizo and Will Zeppeli, for example.

Additionally, the pic that's almost always used to show how short Speedwagon supposedly is was taken from the videogame Eyes Of Heaven. However, there are a few issues with the claim aside from what we have been already discussing above.

For starters, Speedwagon's in-game models are all scaled to be 180cms tall as well, and this can also be seen when you compare him with other characters like Kakyoin in that same game (Kak is 178cms/5'10 tall in canon)

It's also quite important to keep in mind that Eyes of Heaven (and possibly ASBR too if they ported the models and scales from EoH) can't really be trusted with Jonathan's height because they tend to make him look even taller than he already is.

The proof? Well, Jonathan and Jotaro are both canonly 195cms tall and yet, in EoH...

no way Jotaro would be the same height as Jonathan here even if he stood upright or in his tiptoes. So, yeah. As you can see, EoH messes a bunch with Jonathan's height making him even taller than he actually is. It's not that Speedwagon is short, it's just that Jonathan is even more HUGE in Eyes Of Heaven.
