Yes i get carpal tunnel every now and then, more commonly just sore tight hands from drawing Too Hard. I do not prevent it and i do not stop drawing when it starts to hurt👍

yamara and irene are a funny duo to me because they respect each other deeply as scientists and are about as close to friends as coworkers can get without becoming real friends, but good god do they bicker. i dont think theyve ever wholly agreed on any approach to any scientific conundrum they've ever faced. unfortunately they do great work together, and have a lot of the same curiosities, so they're constantly working on the same projects. one minute they're barely not shouting at each other over the best practical applications of some aberrant space fungus and then 20 minutes later they're throwing papers in the air and shaking each other by the shoulders because they got approved for funding on some operation
