Rashida Tlaib is a powerhouse. Her grandmother just passed away under occupation (her words) but she’s still organizing for HEAL Palestine— an initiative providing Health, Education, Aid, and Leadership opportunities in a collective effort to help heal Gaza’s youth.
A donation to HEAL Palestine will help shelter, feed, and treat injured and sick Palestinians who have fled military violence, and who are in dire need of basic necessities including food, clean water, and medical supplies because of Israel’s cruel blockade. currently HEAL is working to open a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and a new maternity department in Rafah, plus sponsoring medical teams to go to Gaza.
In addition to funding urgent needs, a donation will support long-term solutions and projects in Palestine as well, such as mental health and mentorship for children who’ve been living with trauma their entire lives, and programs to rebuild Gaza’s education and health systems.
Here’s the link to donate.

Palestinian gunmen in the Gaza Strip shot and killed an aid worker from a US-based charity, firing on her car in what Hamas-run government officials told her family was a case of mistaken identity.
The car in which Islam Hejazy, Gaza program manager at HEAL Palestine, was traveling was intercepted on Thursday in the area of Khan Younis in the south of the enclave.
Gunmen riding in three cars sprayed the vehicle with dozens of bullets, according to residents and the woman's family.Top ArticlesRead More
"She was the mother of two small children and a humanitarian with the highest ethics and professionalism," HEAL Palestine, posted on its Facebook page.
Tumblr media
Her family issued a statement on Friday, saying they were told by government parties at the hospital where her body was taken that she was killed by mistake. Her killers, whose identity wasn't immediately clear, had failed to identify the vehicle she was driving, they said.
There has been no immediate comment from Hamas.
"That was a bigger shock .. How would an innocent soul be wasted and 90 bullets fired at her car just for mistaken identification?" the family said in a statement published by Palestinian media.
Reuters was not able to verify the number of bullets fired.
The incident highlights growing chaos and anarchy in Gaza almost a year into the Israel-Hamas war, which has weakened the ability of Hamas-run security services to police the streets, according to the group.
Palestinians have complained of rising theft, gangsters, and price-gouging merchants. Gaza has a population of 2.3 million people, and most of them have been internally displaced by the war.
Israel and Hamas have been fighting since terrorists from the Palestinian group stormed into southern Israel on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people and capturing 250 hostages.

“It is with deep sadness that HEAL Palestine announces the killing of our Gaza Program Manager, Islam Hijazy, in Gaza today. She was a mother of two small children, and a humanitarian with the highest ethics and professionalism. Islam intentionally stayed in Gaza to help others. “My place is in Gaza, serving my people,” she said when she started her leadership role with HEAL. HEAL Palestine is more dedicated than ever to serving Gaza, in her honor. Ceasefire now.”

I suffer from decision paralysis when it comes to donations and I've found something that works for me: anytime I've saved money on something I was already going to buy (using a $5 off coupon or a BOGO deal or whatever) I have started to donate the amount saved to any Palestinian campaign I see first. Just yesterday I donated $27 to e-sims for Gaza because I got 15% off my local zoo membership. Today I donated $10 to HEAL Palestine because I used a $10 coupon for my hair products from Sally's.
This helps me not shut my brain down when i question how much or how frequently to donate. I stay engaged, I share and ask people to match my donation.
I gently challenge you to donate whatever you last spent on a coffee or saved from a coupon to the first Palestinian GoFundMe you see. Or match mine!
Links to the places I donated below 👇

Link to directly donate to a fund that buys e-sims instead of buying the e-sims yourself:

Remember to do your best to stay up to date with the Boycott, Divestment, Sanction movement. Link to them here:

Link to the Google Play app No Thanks app made by Palestinian Ahmed Bashbash, where you can search brand names or scan barcodes to see if that product has connections to the Israeli genocidal regime. It has proof! It's also free.
Something something consume responsibly. Thanks I love you bye .

if you somehow still don’t think zionism is a colonial ideology, here is a quote from ze’ev jabotinsky, an early zionist:
“Zionist colonisation must either stop, or else proceed regardless of the native population. Which means that it can proceed and develop only under the protection of a power that is independent of the native population—behind an iron wall, which the native population cannot reach.”
when someone tells you who they are, listen to them.
this essay was written in 1928, but israel’s crimes still continue, with these principles guiding them. if you don’t like colonialism, you shouldn’t support israel. if you don’t like bigotry, you shouldn’t support israel. if you don’t like genocide, you shouldn’t support israel. israel is founded on theft and colonial violence. to deny this is to deny history. to deny this is to deny truth.
below are some links to pro-palestinian organizations (taken from the description of shaun’s video essay on palestine). please support them if you can.

The archeologist Mikel Herrán has published a video in his YouTube channel, PutoMikel, about the genocide of Palestine that Israel is committing.
This video essay is Cómo Israel borra a Palestina (How Israel erases Palestine). The video is in Spanish but It seems that there aren't other subtitles than Spanish.
It centers around the stablishment of Israel as a settler colonialist state, for which Zionism tries to use archeology as a tool to justify the existence of Israel in the territory of Palestine, in which archaeological excavations are often used as a pretext to displace and dispossess the Palestinian people from their homes and lands.
Besides, Israel is trying to eliminate Palestinian culture by destroying its cultural heritage, like ancient mosques and churches, places, historical archives, museums, olive trees, archaeological sites and cultural centers.
Please watch this video, it's quite informative and Mikel is going to donate all the money that the visits to this video generate to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. And in the description there's links to other NGOs to donate like Heal Palestine, Médicos del mundo and UNRWA.
Talking about the UNRWA, one of the campains of UNWRA Spain to collect money for helping Palestinian refugees is a collaboration with the singer and poet Marwán, with the song Nana urgente para Palestina (Urgent lullaby for Palestine).
Marwán is the son of a Palestinian man and a Spanish woman, so Marwán's activism often focuses on helping Palestine and raise awareness about what Palestinian people are going throught.
Marwán's father was born in 1950 in the Tulkarem refugee camp, in the West Bank, and emigrated to Spain at the age of 18, and Marwán was born in 1979 in the Aluche neighborhood, in La Latina district of Madrid.
Here's the song in YouTube and Spotify if you want to listen to it (plus the lyrics and the translation below)

Soporté
Las cosas que nadie soporta
La pena del que a nadie importa
Y todavía sigo en pie
(I endured
The things that no one can stand
The pain of someone who doesn't care
And I'm still standing)
Soporté
El vientre de la artillería
El fuego en la guardería
Y todavía sigo en pie
(I endured
The belly of artillery
The fire in the nursery
And I'm still standing)
No puedo hacer una canción de paz
Si no puedo ni mover
No puedo hacer una canción de paz
Si no puedo ni mover
(I can't make a peace song
If I can't even move
I can't make a peace song
If I can't even move)
Soporté
El miedo atroz entre las mantas
Que todos me dieran la espalda
Y todavía sigo en pie
(I endured
The atrocious fear between the blankets
That everyone turned their back on me
And I'm still standing)
Recuerda bien
Que no hay rumor que me defina
Todos me llaman Palestina
Y todavía sigo en pie
(Remember well
That there is no rumor that defines me
Everyone calls me Palestine
And I'm still standing)

This article is incredibly malicious in its attempt to erase the United States' KEY role in the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Even when talking about how Israel is bombing coordinates where humanitarian aid is, they still end the article with plausible deniability that Israel is not purposefully attacking these locations.
Anyways, the United States has signed off on the complete annihilation of the Palestinian people in Gaza and don't you dare forget it.

Do not forget: the United States can stop this quite easily. They are just choosing not to.
