#i would kill rex if he existed in real life but he is so entertaining to watch #tbh he has all the traits of a Quintessential David Tennant Character #a) neurotic little freak b) probably autistic c) bad at masculinity d) terminally bitchless e) genuinely intelligent behind the cringe fail #like the 'smart but terrible around other people' trope can be done VERY wrong a lot of the time #but whenever david does it it's so good. that one post was right he could play sherlock but b*nedict c*mberbatch couldnt play the doctor #edit: i probably need to clarify beyond the 'horrific news' but there are so many issues with just this pilot writing wise #and i get why it didn't get picked up. but in the alternate universe where this show is real #i wouldve watched it. loved it. rated it 3 stars on letterboxd
