i need to draw this part of mochi more but she is honestly, from an onlookers perspective, very weird. and the reason for it is that she has a habit of collecting and hoarding old, gross, used, useless, or otherwise unwanted things.
as a witch, anything can be used all spell ingredients because objects in the world inherently have properties that can be used for spells (think botw where its like "old snail shell can boost speed" kind of thing), and often times the properties are stronger AFTER said object has been gently to moderately used. an eraser has good properties for glue spells BUT a used and chewed on eraser has STRONGER properties for glue spells
so when she was a little kid, in school you could catch her on the floor scraping up eraser shavings that a kid brushed off his desk. the teacher tries to empty out the pencil shavings bin and mochi ZOOMS in with a jar to catch all of it before it goes into the trash. a kid sticks their gum under the desk and 10 minutes later mochi is on the floor scraping it off and putting it in a little box. and when they were young it really FREAKED lime out, but over time hes like "Whatever, you do you i guess." (shes trying to be a good little witch-to-be and help her mom collect potion ingredients)
as she grows up she gets better at blending in and and uhh NOT doing that, but occasionally you'll still catch her picking up old chewed on pencils, rusty paper clips, soggy pieces of paper, whatever off the floor

#lowkey I like to hc it as a generational trauma type of thing for Mr Tweak#I feel like Richard was a LOT like Tweek when he was little#very anxious and unsure of himself#he mentions in the gnomes episode I believe that his business has been going on 30 years#and was passed down to him by his father by his father before him#growing up I think that he too was given a lot of this coffee by his father#and over the years he was conditioned and manipulated into accepting this as the norm#in hopes that he would one day take over the business#when he was finally old enough his father shared the family recipe with him and at that point he had pretty much been brainwashed#I think he sees a lot of his younger self in tweek which is why he’s so condescending towards him and so determined to steer him down the#same path. Repeating the cycle and all that#and when Tweek is old enough he plans on sharing the family’s secret as his father did with him#MRS Tweak on the other hand is an interesting one#we know so little about her but I feel like her personality also says a lot about her#she’s definitely better than Mr Tweak but she’s still very complacent and neglectful#I think what stands out to me the most about her though is the way her personality can completely switch up at times#most of the time she has this eerily calm almost docile personality#but other times she’s a LOT more attentive and caring#yk like a normal mom#COMPLETELY different from how she usually acts#but the episode that gets me the most is “Gnomes#where she actively goes against Richard’s attempt to manipulate the kids and use them for business ventures#yet this is the same mom that actively poisons her son? presumably for the business??#like it doesn’t make sense to me#I’ve seen someone suggest that Richard has been drugging her too#and BOY would that be a twist#definitely would explain the sudden shift in personality#i definitely think it would be interesting if she was in the dark about a lot of this too#not using this as an excuse as I still do think she is SOMEWHAT negligent on her own but I do think it could explain some things#south park

There's so much to his character that I never talk about aaa I'll make a lore post eventually
#i have thoughts about this guy#he's so hungry for affection and that social and physical contact he see's all the people in his city get#he's takes up so much after them in so many ways#maintenance on this guy... mechanics working on checking all the wires and circuits and touching all the sensitive nerves and neuron flies#its nice that his entire structure is well taken care of but he also wouldnt be able to focus on anything else#he's so used to working in perfect undisturbed conitions..must be so distracting when something changes#he'd have his overseers watching as they plug things in and test stuff and poke around in his guts#and maybe he'll enjoy it a too much and he'll beep when a cable is pushed in.. its not like the sounds are unusual#the structure is alway whirling and buzzing.. whats a few extra clicks and hums when a particularly sensitive component is touched#its not like they would know unless they were really paying attention to the sounds and looking for a reaction#trying to please their beloved supercomputer#he longs for the same love they're capable of but it does quite work out. They can't hug him in a way that feels the same#does affection mean anything to him when its so little. AND ANOTHER THING . Y’know how more modern electronics are wayyy easier to break ??
Like . I’m sure there are many benefits to having a more modern screen, but the fact is Vox could’ve easily designed it to be more sturdy .
But he didn’t, probably to keep up with trends . This is also why I headcanon him to be extremely sickly looking (well that and his heart monitor theming) because it’s like !! He absolutely would hurt himself and his body soley to have a more appealing and ‘modern’ form .
Like Vox may act in control and like a massive bitch but at the end of the day he relies on the masses for his power . It’s shown in “Stayed Gone” when Alastor’s eyes turn into clocks . (Yes I know they’re radio dials but they’re clearly MEANT to look like clocks in the shot) The ticking symbolizes something and the fact that it’s used to scare Vox? He’s definitely scared of people moving on . Of course he changes himself to fit in, of course he tries so hard to keep up his reputation, everything he has depends on it .
He may say “he’s the future” but no future lasts forever and no one is more terrified of it than Vox .
Do you think Alastor’s absence terrified him on some level ? That he too would one day disappear and barely any impact would be made ?
Do you think that’s why he sticks with the Vs beyond a need for their power and resources? A bone deep fear of ending up alone ? Of being completely and truly forgotten ?
I don’t know . Maybe it is a little out of character since we mainly see Vox be mean and a bitch but we have seen quite a bit of evidence to suggest he’s a lot more amiable when the cameras are on .

A group of friends who, two years ago, journeyed the Unova region together; however, an undisclosed incident at the Pokemon League has changed their lives forever. In the absence of their Hero of Truth, they have decided to seek their own paths.
Hilbert Blackburn - An earnest youth from Nuvema Town, and Unova's Hero of Truth. His current whereabouts are unknown, as he's fled the region with Reshiram. Not many people, besides his secretive friends, seem to know the real him- outside of the fact he was very honest about his feelings.
Cheren Slater - Aspertia City's new gym leader, and the trainer school's teacher. He holds the truth to Hilbert's disappearance and what happened at the league that day, but refuses to share. The traveling companion and mentor of the Aspertia Trio.
Bianca Alabaster - Assistant to Professor Juniper and Fennel, and a protege of Lenora and Shauntal. She has a lot on her plate, particularly with investigating the legends of the dragons and exploration of the dreamworld. She has a keen eye for seeing the truth beneath the surface.
Hilda Weiss - A battle prodigy of Nimbasa City and the Battle Subway's most beloved regular, who had started her journey four years prior to the other three; as a result, she's the most experienced, and is considered an Ace Trainer. Somewhat cynical and grounded, but holds all her friends close to her heart.

#I guess this makes me Jason Todd lmao#I love him don't get me wrong#but he's also literally Bats here with the leaving and then coming back with eight adopted kids#and me going through a whole thing with wanting to cut off certain people#having anger issues#and having a complex relationship with him and at first feeling a bit like I was replaced#Like damn#He really is Bruce and I'm way too much like Jason#Also thinking about hoe my older brother feels overly responsible and tries to act like a leader#He's so much like Nightwing/ Dick Grayson#Overly forgiving and trying to be more of a leader than he should be and the family oriented type of guy#Don't get me wrong I love him too#Buuut as the younger sibling it's my job to pick on him a bit#Our relationship is a bit like Jason and Dick with comradery but with jabs at each other and not always agreeing with how to do things#He's more of a moderate liberal tyoe too#Wants to save everyone on all sides whereas I'm more of a radical leftist who can hold a grudge#Yeah I can definitely see the batfam in us lmao#Idk what middle brother would be#maybe a bit like Barbara with trying to be the smartest? He's not exactly an overachiever but I think he longs for our mum's attention#I mean we all have sure but I think he's in deeper with that#Me and the oldest one were/ are the more rebellious types or I guess the ones that questioned our parents more#Whereas he kinda goes along with everything and backs them up and seeks a lot of approval#Not a bad thing but can make him sort of dependant and try to seem stronger and smarter than he is/ or needs to act#And ofc out of all us I'm probably the most rebellious#less so when I was little but after not being believed when I said I was abused by a certain old shithead was a big c#*shift for me#Made me trust their judgement a lot less and look for my own path ig#So very similar to Jason there with seeing flaws in Batman's morals and rejecting them because of how they got him hurt#Sort of like how I rejected/ reject the moderate “all sides” standpoint in my family#there's a lt of forgiveness given to people who don't really deserve it in our extended family
