Awww thank you so much! I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed Patient Zero and Thirteen! Making Fictional Matty suffer is one of my favorite pass times! Fictional Matty just continues to bring it upon himself and I am loving every minute of it!

I’m out of the loop on the Matty eye situation- I was out of state with the girl I nanny for at a horse show (and I didn’t even get to bring my own horse and show myself which was a bummer) and therefore have barely been on any social media that’s not horse related 😭 (Got to witness a few gnarly wrecks though and now I cannot wait to go snuggle my own pony on Tuesday) I saw Matty had an eye patch but I didn’t realize it was a medical thing and not an ~aesthetic~ thing 😬 I’ll do some research (re: watch concert videos and scroll twitter and tiktok) and see if the plot bunnies will surface 😉

I did get a very nice comment on my Matty fic (Sometimes) this morning, and the plot bunnies are in fact doing something with that one! We will see what ends up happening! I think I have more ideas than time these days, though I have been wanting to actually write the companion fic I have outlined.

#a bit of background:#this is operacion triunfo a spanish tv show about sing! there are 16 contestants and they have to sing every monday a song #so they live in like a school academy where they have each day classes related to music (and they also rehearsal the song the have to #perform the mondays)#okay and like they have 0 connection with the rest of the world (they have phones but with no internet) so they know nothing about #what’s happening outside #SO there’s a youtube channel where they show each day what these contestants are doing (like big brother but related to music)#so um u get really attached to them cause u see them 24h!!!#so one of this contestants is juanjo (the one with the 🧢) and comes from a rural village and his fam is a bit conservative so he never #speaks about his sexuality - all the opposite he’s a bit ashamed of what he is bc he’s now used to act like himself #and then there is martin who is 18 and openly gay and like super open about all this topic super comfortable with himself etc #so this show has been going on for 3 weeks now okay? and in the first week u could see something was going on between these two #but since juanjo is so ashamed of this he rejected every type of touch that came for martin #martin got all ☹️ and he kinda told his friends there that he was having something with juanjo and he wasn’t receptive #(WE WERE SCREAMING IN TWITTER)#well since that moment it has been a fucking rollercoaster but juanjo is now a chiller and they cuddle and flirt in from of everyone #(they even have showers together cause rip they have 0 intimacy)#okay but today has been!!!! #not to be a misandrist but the potential was sooo there and it was thrown away bc the mangaka would rather write a harem for his mid #male protagonist which for some reason had to include incest???? between a 30-something man and his previously 16 year old patient #'wah wah now they're the same age' NOT MENTALLY. WE ESTABLISHED THAT IN THE FIRST EPISODE. 16 yr old guy who's voluntarily joins a penal colony for "honour", quickly realizes that nearly everyone up there is A Cunt and Not A Great Person (once again, penal colony) and his life goes from "eh" to "jesus fuck oh god" so quickly. he's also got a magic sword, a magic wolf, magic dreams, but he hates all of it bc he just wants to run a successful penal colony, make loans with banks for food and Not Die of Magic Evil Ice Zombies at the tender age of 16. he then immediately dies after a few months of being leader because he announced publicly he was deserting his post and got Julius Ceaser'ed for it. he's a pathetic guy all around
