Posting a a little today but really like the whole bit the boys have over calling Vesemir old. They all just collectively agree “old man old man”

It’s even funnier when notw makes vesemir only 70, or really 60 something years older than them since they’re around 4-8 age group. And he only looks like he’s in his 20s-early thirties. I’m sure Lambert started it. One day he just asks “why are you so old?” And Vesemir is left shocked. He’s not that old!!! But then when they get back to Kaer Morhen and the boys are a bit older Geralt finally gets to ask all his questions about Kaer Morhen he couldn’t ask before.

“How old is Kaer Morhen?”

“I don’t know Geralt. Old.”

“Are you older than Kaer Morhen or as old?”

Vesemir throws his boots at him. Then that’s when the whole “*insert item* is almost as old as Vesemir!”

HE HATES IT.

When Ciri finally joins them, Lambert immediately teaches her the bit. She is RUTHLESS with her insults. Vesemir is giving her a history lesson in the courtyard since it’s nice out. The boys are fixing one of the walls in the background. He’s telling her about a war that happened around 600 years ago.

“Do you remember what it was like in that time? Since you were there?” Vesemir wants to crawl into a hole and die in it. The boys are basically toppled over in laughter. Lambert starts choking from laughing too hard. Ciri seems extremely pleased with herself.

It starts evolving further into “oh you wanna know about the conjunction of spheres? Oh I dunno, ask Vesemir he was there since before the conjunction.” And “what was it like when dinosaurs were alive, Vesemir?”

AND IT SOMEHOW SPREADS. He’s in a growing town in southern Redania with Geralt and they run into Jaskier. Now he’s never had the fortune of meeting him, but he’s heard plenty. He’s about to thank the poet for looking after Geralt until Jaskier goes “so I’ve heard you’re quite old! Tell me Master Vesemir, what was it like when kingdoms started to form? How did the royal families come to be in power?”

Vesemir is SEETHING. Geralt just smiles like the little shit he is.

I forgot something funny that happened yesterday. There were some fuckass missionaries in my neighborhood yesterday.

My son, a hardcore pagan, saw them hopping over the fence to get to our door (if the gate is closed, that means we ain't taking damn visitors unless they call first 🙄. Yes, they do climb fences and go into open garages here. They literally disrespect private property to proselytize. They especially love doing that in my town. Guess us brown people ain't got rights against white invaders in our own fucking houses. Do they do this bs in the states or do they only see non-whites as non-people they can disrespect this way?)

Anyways Luthian busted out and said very loudly from the window, "Why the fuck are these gringos on our property?!" (They were definitely American and we're currently in PR and these rude af religious colonizing fucks can kiss our asses. Their invading asses are lucky I'm bedridden cos i would have used the Castle doctrine to shoot their asses for jumping over my fucking fence. Last time I only cussed at them for entering my garage with this bullshit. I ain't obligated to put up with them. Fuck your colonizing trespassing ass religion. Shove it up your ass.)

like on one hand biden did heinous stuff during his presidency and i have no personal liking for the guy, but on the other hand part of me does feel sympathetic bc it must suck to have to end your presidency in such a lacklustre way after having literally everyone demand you leave the race. on the third hand, there are presidents who would never have the grace and self-awareness to exit the race no matter how badly they were going to do or how many calls for it there were. on the fourth hand, biden's calls have directly contributed to the murder of thousands of people. on the fifth hand, he made some pretty significant progress domestically and improved the lives of thousands of americans.

idk man i have mixed feelings specifically on him pulling out. but hopeful that the candidate who gets the nom will be strong enough to pull those who were on the fence specifically about biden. and praying to anyone who will listen that this will get more people out to vote bc i'm seriously not joking about how much we do not want a second trump presidency.

Okay so. I liked it. I think. It was very fan servicey in a good way, and I loved Mike, Abby, & the animatronics. Vanessa and the plot with William though… god…

I can’t do this wishy washy “ooo!!! secrets and scenes and shit that makes no sense!!! bet you had the REAL plot. better theorize and stay confused for fucking ever!!” I can’t do that again. I’m not strong enough. The FNAF series has done that, and done it poorly, for so long. It broke my spirit for a good while that was only revived because Pizzeria Sim HAD answers and a resolution. It started to die again with Security Breach (I hate Peepaw Afton so fucking much)

I wish the plot was simpler. I wish I had less confusion about things. I wish the Vanessa twist wasn’t so lame, god that felt weird and forced imo. I was William wasn’t so… I don’t know, I still can’t figure out what I dislike about him. Something just rubs me the wrong way.

On the surface level, I had an amazing time. When I think about the plot and my questions, I just get irritated and disappointed. I’m tired of questions. I thought this would be a simpler plot for us to have.
