Bruce still does the tooth fairy thing for the kids.

The bats are constantly losing and having to replace their teeth. Because you don't get hit, kicked, and thrown on your face almost every other night and keep all your teeth.

So imagine early on when Duke first stays at the manor. He comes in saying how he was thrown into a car and lost a tooth on patrol.

They tell him to put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy. He laughs it off like , "OkaY, the tOotH fAirY."

The next morning at breakfast

Dick: "How much did you get?"

Duke: "Get what?"

Dick: "From the tooth fairy?"

Duke: "Oh, haha, right."

Steph: "?...Wait...Bruce?!"

Jason: "Why didn't he get anything??"

Bruce: "Don't ask me. The tooth fairy probably couldn't find it."

Duke: "You're not joking? You were serious about leaving my tooth?"

Tim: "Yeah, B always leaves money."

Bruce: "Untrue. The tooth fairy leaves money to children who lose a tooth. Not me."

Jason: "Yeah, whatever, anyway, make sure you let him or Alfred know when you lose a tooth and leave it out when you go to bed.

Bruce: "Alfred and I have no say in the tooth fairy's actions."

Tim: "We've caught him on camera, but he insists to deny."

Bruce: "Or perhaps you caught a clever disguse made to trick you?"

Dick: "... Just leave it out tonight, Duke."

Duke: "Okay, I guess I'll leave it out then?"

Bruce: "Somewhere the tooth fairy can find it easily, Is what I assume they would want."

Steph: "Smooth."

Damian *walking in*: "Father, thank you for the extra cash. This will go to the new treats I wanted to try for Batcow."

Bruce: "It wasn't me, thank the tooth fairy."

Damian: "... Yes, the tooth fairy. Thank you tooth fairy."

Bruce: "I think the tooth fairy appreciates that, Damian."

Everyone: *sigh*

(Cass is there the whole time casually eating because only Bruce knows that she sometimes will sneak in the rooms first to wait for him.)

Shockingly I named some OCs recently and fleshed out the deity lore a bit for my "guess i'll marry the demon lord?" plot.

Solei has existed since near the start but Mehra and Valdas are new to the concept and all three? Petty. They're technically the Trio of Peace cause that's kinda their goal and duty to their world but really, Trio of Pettiness is suitable as well.

I think whats so compelling about Sanji is that he's so terribly self conscious about being masculine that anything that performs masculinity better than him (ie, Zoro, obliviously, minus the women-fucking part), or skews masculinity, is a threat to him. Which makes him rampantly homophobic and transphobic. And as he also believes masculinity needs to be focused around being horny for women makes him also rampantly misogynistic cause he can't actually see women past them being a sexual object. Anyways it all culminates in you the audience being fairly certain that this man cannot be straight due to this terribly obvious fragility around his masculinity, and that if he ever got dicked down, it might solve all these issues.

The other day I was rewatching Dethclown and I realized that, when they're all lecturing Toki for hanging out with Rockzo, Skwisgaar specifically points out that drunk driving while shooting guns is not what a real friend would take you to do.

And then, guess who's drunk driving and shooting guns with Toki in the next season:

Just think it's funny that Skwisgaar took Toki to do the exact same activity he was judging him for doing with somebody else. It's almost as if it wasn't about the tour at all, just saying.

related but the lack of acknowledgement in fandom (specifically the type of fandom that is practiced on this website and similar communities) of how much interpretation of source material stems from individuals particular (psychosexual) preoccupations is like. understandable because its embarrassing to publicly admit that you're obsessed with X thing because you're a little bit of a freak about Y thing (trying to speak broadly here but maybe i'm just being vague) and i don't think people need to do that but it's also a little frustrating to me because i feel like it's more interesting to think about the things you enjoy while also analyzing why you enjoy them but there's this culture of like. projection is bad and wrong and if you let your own experiences and proclivities affect the way that you interpret fiction you're tainting somehow the pure and objective thing that is Canon. so everybody's always striving to achieve something that is impossible. like it's impossible not to interpret things through the lens of your own experiences and opinions and preoccupations. i'm not saying we should all be like posting about fictional characters with like footnotes about what specific fetishes inform our headcanons or whatever the fuck but it's just very clear to me when people just entirely avoid thinking about why they might interpret something a certain way and instead think they're doing some kind of Objective Analysis every time they say something about how a character would fuck
