Bella Goth

A graceful and compassionate woman who owns a personal styling agency with a devoted clientele among the wealthy and famous. She's a supportive—though sometimes disengaged—mother who passionately loves her husband and children. However, she frequently disappears without notice to board flights to her clients around the world. Life is beautiful for carefree Bella; it seems to always work out in her favor.

Mortimer Goth

An entomologist known for his fictional writing, particularly his novels heavy with somber insect imagery. Despite the dismal themes of his books, he's inherited his father's personable Old World charm (Bella loves his subtle Transatlantic accent) which wonderfully complements his wife's sociable tendencies. He's extra lenient with his children, partially due to his proclivity of becoming engrossed in insect research or novel-writing for days at a time.

Cassandra Goth

A reserved teen musician who is struggling with the decision to either follow the family's traditional expectations by working toward a professional seat on the Sim City Symphony Orchestra or to break away from the mold and pursue an independent career. Between staying on top of her studies and her after-school job at the local alternative clothing store, she always looks forward to experimenting with music with her more-experienced best friend, Ophelia.

Alexander Goth

An observant and quick-witted bibliomaniac who is already enjoying writing novels like his father—though he has an unexplained inclination toward science fiction stories. As his parents are often busy and his older sister has no interest in his endless extraterrestrial theories, he takes amusement in playing chess against egotistical adults at the park after school as well as playing piano (which he proudly boasts of his sister's exceptional skill).

Cornelia Goth

An aristocratic painter who was the founder of the elite Sim City Bridge Society as well as co-founder of Pleasantview but is more proud of her legacy as Cassandra and Alexander's loving grandmother. They look forward to their weekly afternoon and high tea times where she shares life stories of rebelling as a young socialite in prim and proper circles. She moved to Willow Creek to live her with her son after a fire claimed both her husband and her mansion.

Gunther Goth

A tremendously influential former college dean and town co-founder of Pleasantview from the Old Country. While his persistent community-based work and ability to selflessly compromise with anyone was admirable, he spent many of his years focused on matters outside of his family until he retired and was able to repair his relationship with wife, Cornelia. After perishing in a house fire, he now chooses to give advice to his descendants as well as warn them to avoid his own life mistakes.

Hecuba & Menelaus Goth

A set of twin Siamese cats raised by Cornelia and Gunther. When she's not verbally demanding attention, Hecuba enjoys concocting plans for other ways to get it. She considers herself much smarter than her brother. Menelaus also believes he's smarter than his sister but can't be bothered to move from his spot on the couch to explain why. They enjoy sharing fish cakes served by the butler.

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 54 (The Game Tried to Take MY SON!)

cw: toddler peril. I learned a lesson about playing with unpatched mods but I played up a bit of drama despite not accepting what happened as canon. Only shot of Ash is above because more felt gratuitous for something that technically never happened because I reversed it.

The quiet house unnerved him. Conrad knew something wasn't right. He texted Heather, and in less than a minute his phone rang. "I'm sorry I didn't text," she sobbed through the phone. "Ash's daycare called and I...I...I'm at the hospital with him now. Doctors have him sedated."

"What happened?!"

"It was daycare," she repeated. "They said he was on the slide but then they looked away and...and they thought..." She broke down, and Conrad felt her pain through the line. Her fear shook the phone in his grasp.

"It'll be okay. I'm on my way there."

He embraced her when he walked through the door to St. Sims Hospital, and she fell into his arms. "He'll be okay," he assured her, but he didn't know any better.

"How did this happen?" she cried. "What kind of mother lets her son-"

"Stop. This isn't on you."

"If I didn't work so much, I could have been home with him. Maybe I could have..."

He pulled her close, feeling every tense muscle in her rigid body. "This isn't on you," he repeated. "And we're not gonna lose him. We'll all get through this together. We're a team, remember? That means Ash, too."

She was quiet. "Conrad... Do you believe in curses?"

"Like witches?"

She frowned as her thoughts pounded against her skull. "I don't know. Maybe. Maybe mermaids? But Mortimer Goth told me a story once about cursed Landgraabs, and I know how it sounds. But when Ash came along I thought about it a lot more than I should, and then I had to give him their last name. After tonight, I feel sick to my stomach. What if I cursed my son by giving him Malcolm Landgraab for a father?"

"There's no way Ash is cursed," he said quickly. "I know you're scared for him, but curses aren't real and Ash is one of the luckiest kids in the world. He'll get a Landgraab trust fund and he's got you for a mom."

She managed a smile, but when the doctor emerged from the pediatric care unit, she raced over to hear word of her son. "How is he? Oh, Watcher, please let him be okay..."

Dr. Serra smiled. "He hit his head pretty hard, but other than a headache for a few days, we think he's going to be fine. We want to keep him overnight for observation, but he's awake and he's asking for you."

Heather's whole body breathed with relief as she embraced her son's doctor. "Thank you!" she sobbed. "Thank you so much!"

Behind her, Conrad felt his muscles loosen. He'd been so focused on Heather, he didn't even notice his own fear at the thought of Ash in peril. "Thank you, Doctor. We're so grateful."

Dr. Serra smiled. "You must be Conrad. Ash asked for you, too."

Ash would recover quickly, but Heather wasn't so sure about herself. Even with Conrad's unflinching support, she felt torn apart by guilt over her son's near-fatal accident while she'd been working.

She was always working, trying so hard to earn enough to buy out her clinic from Ash's other family. ->

WCIF St. Sims Hospital? Sims 4 Gallery build by @pihe89/pihe89. Stunning build, simply put, and very popular (so many copycats). And it comes with a science lab and alien wormhole nbd. Two floors, so many varieties for rooms. Why would I build when people are this talented? It's in a second save and I'll use it again for babies, but hopefully we're not back here for any tragedies anytime soon.

How did this happen?!? Needless to say, Heather's guilt is also mine. I had too many mods and tested fate playing before updating them all! I played some Ultimate Decades Challenge generations and still have the Children and Toddlers Can Die mod installed (I like having options, I guess?), which only kills toddlers with hunger if I'm not mistaken. I was also having some mod issues after the Lovestruck update and didn't realize it until this happened, but the toddler needs bars stayed in the green while their needs deteriorated and I didn't know. Only the toddlers!

So I followed Conrad to work and when he came home Ash was gone and Heather had the 'lost a child' grief moodlet. Cue my internal scream! I revived him instantly with MCCC because this is not UDC and I have plans for this kid! I was so shocked I didn't take any screenshots of the whole disastrous event, but I couldn't pretend it absolutely didn't happen. And honestly the accident ties in with Heather's nagging fears the curse could be real, which is the one unintended benefit of this whole thing.

Carson: Trying out the skating with Ariadne

Onyx: Have you talked to her yet

Carson: Yeah we text before school and after dinner

Onyx: I meant about if your meet up was a date

Carson: Why do I have to talk about that

Onyx: By all means, don’t talk about it and let her think you’re not interested, or that you want to date Artemisia

Carson knew Onyx was right, but he wasn’t up to risking Ariadne making fun of him just yet. Instead he did his normal work on the mural while sneaking glances at Ariadne from afar.

Mrs T: Great job Carson

Carson: Oh, thanks. I’m still not sure what I want it to be yet though

Mrs T: That’s fine, it’ll tell you as you go. Did I hear the radio right this morning? Your mum is getting a star on the walk of fame?

Carson: Yeah

Mrs T: Well tell her we're all very impressed

Mrs T: Okay everyone, settle down. Phones away

Zhafira: But if it’s computer science why can’t we? Are phones not just small computers?

Mrs T: Everyone put them on silent! We need to focus. The topic we discuss today will be on the exams

Carson pulled his from his pocket to double check and saw he’d got a text at the end of lunch from Ariadne.

Ariadne: I didn’t want to interrupt you, you looked so focused! But good luck for the ceremony

She’d remembered! Although he supposed someone’s parent getting a walk of fame star was memorable. It didn’t mean she liked him. He didn’t have time to reply now but he made a mental note to send a text of thanks after class.

So all the Foster extended family traveled to Del Sol Valley for the afternoon. They watched with excitement as Kayleigh became the second active sim of mine to get the honour. First recipient was Mortimer Goth, let’s hope she has a brighter future than the now dead author.

Back in Sulani everyone and their suitcases pile in. Charlie and her wife Kaori with their dog Clover. Keira and her wife Marta. Reece and his partner Samir. Kayleigh and Carson welcome everyone while Harvey gets a head start on cooking. While Reece is playing guitar outside Samir asks Kayleigh if he can have a word with her and Harvey. Keira really hopes it’s about what she thinks it is.

Samir: Thanks. Reece and I have talked. After he finishes his degree he’d like to get engaged but, well, I’d like your permission to propose to him. And marry him. Please. I would like to marry him.

Kayleigh: Absolutely!

Harvey: Hmm

Kayleigh: Harvey that’s the most words we’ve heard Samir say at once. I think he deserves a response

Harvey: Are you going to give me grandbabies?

Kayleigh: Harvey!

Harvey: Because if you will then obviously yes

Kayleigh: Harvey!

Harvey: I’m kidding. Of course you can. We’d love you to keep him happy

Samir: *sighs in relief* Thank you

Harvey: When you told Kayleigh you could probably get him pregnant because you’re a werewolf was that like a throw away comment or?

Samir: *chuckles* I don’t think I could. Plus, imagine him pregnant

Kayleigh: *laughs* Oh he’d be too dramatic for anyone to handle

Harvey: But you will have kids right

Kayleigh: *sighs* I’m leaving before you embarrass yourself even more

Samir: We do want kids

Harvey: Good, good. Now what are your proposal plans

Samir: Big? Flashy?

Harvey: Oh he'd love that. Make sure it’s well lit and get someone to record

Samir: I will. Deanna probably

Harvey: We best get back out there before he gets suspicious. Oh I hope this means we can expect more talking from you. Not that silence isn’t golden of course but you probably need to rest your vocal chords after such a long discussion. I can say things like that you see because you’re going to be my son in law

Harvey walks out chuckling.

Samir *under his breath in confusion* white people

Carson: Hey Reece. Do you need help with your bags?

Reece: Do I need help? What’s with you?

Carson: Mum said that Samir really is a werewolf. I’m sorry for being mean on the phone about it

Reece: It’s fine, I didn’t expect you to believe me. Hey, hey, remember that time I convinced you raisins were actually dead flies? *laughing* Classic

Carson: *sarcastically* Yes, hilarious to put me off the only breakfast cereal we had

Reece: Don’t worry, seriously, it's all good

Carson: I kind of can’t help worrying. I’ve got OCD actually

Reece: Like real OCD or-

Carson: Real OCD

Reece: Oh man that must be tough

Carson: Excuse me? You’re giving me sympathy?

Reece: I did psychology last term, it’s a requisite for a bio major. OCD sounded intense

Carson: Yeah... it can be

Reece: Are you getting help with it

Carson: Yeah, I’m on some meds and have a counsellor

Reece: That’s cool. I tell Samir he should see a counsellor but he insists I’m enough. Which I love but I’m not trained. How’s the asthma

Carson: I have less symptoms but that’s because I don’t push myself to exercise

Reece: Exercise is really healthy though

Carson: I don’t need it, look at these guns

Reece: Woah, don’t hurt yourself there

Episode 32 - Get cool with a make-over from Nina

Nina came to visit her sister and admired the riches and luxury of the Goth Mansion. She had a lovely home with Don but it did have Cassandra's fingerprints and tastes all over it, so it didn't really feel like home. She was only supposed to live there to help out so she couldn't change anything.

Alexander had a chance to speak to Nina and ask for some advice with regards to getting a cool look going. It needed to fit with the persona he envisioned for himself. Nina was happy to help. What a fun little project.

Mortimer looked at Alexander with a raised eyebrow, "I hardly recognize you. Wow, what a change! Just don't become the neighborhood bad boy please, son." Alexander chuckled, "Don't worry Dad, I won't. I just need to look a little less like a nerd so I can be taken seriously." Mortimer gave a little smile. O, how he wished Bella could have seen there little boy. He had grown up into such a fine young man.

Once everyone was out of earshot, Nina confided in Dina. "I am actually pregnant and I realize that I had had a serious lap in judgement." "Ah, I warned you, Nina! How will you ever win Don's heart if you continue to mess around with other men? Obviously the father isn't Don is it?" "No I am afraid it is Daniel Pleasant", Nina said with a frown. "You have got to be kidding me! What drew you to that creep with his red hairy arms?" Dina sneered. "Don has been trying to be up to his old tricks again, but not with me and I convinced myself that two could play this game." Nina said as she gave a shiver. "It's cold in here like the place gives me a shiver sometimes. Do you like living here?" "Don't change the subject, Nina. Good luck getting yourself out of this one."

0. Intro: Where is Bella?

The Goths have been an integral part of Willow Creek’s history since the foundation of the neighbourhood. At the time, the representatives of this ancient and influential family were politicians, entrepreneurs, scientists, doctors. The spouses for the heirs have always been carefully chosen from other respected families. 

That’s why Mortimer’s announcement of his engagement with Bella Bachelor, a local beauty without any decent origins, triggered a scandal in the community. The two didn’t care about the community though. They claimed to be soulmates and they ignored any bitter comments of enviers. Soon after their small and cozy wedding ceremony they had their daughter Cassandra. 

They looked like a perfectly happy family, with Bella taking active part in the community life by involving in charity and Mortimer winning every single journalist award. They have become honorary guests of every event, with smart and exquisite Bella winning over her most stubborn haters. 

The two seemed to be over the moon when after a long period of trying they finally had their son Alexander. 

When the newspapers reported Bella’s utterly mysterious disappearance, the community was left heartbroken. Every single resident of Willow Creek rendered adequate support to the investigation, but all the efforts were vain. Lastly spotted at the Red Velvet bar over a cocktail, Bella was gone, vanished from the world, leaving her husband in despair and her kids - child Cassie and toddler Alex - without proper care.  

After the investigation has ended up in a deadlock, Mortimer closed up, digging himself up in his work, publishing one book after another. He rarely spent time with his kids and refused talking about Bella. His only free time activity was a regular drink at the Red Velvet bar every Friday evening. Some said he hoped for clues to finding Bella. Some claimed he was just slowly slipping into alcoholism.

It was during one of these evenings that he met Dina Caliente, a growing in popularity beauty blogger from Oasis Springs. The two were spotted on a date at the local luxury restaurant a month later, signalizing the community that Mortimer was finally moving on with his life. 

However, are his children ready for such a change? Will they ever drop their hopes of seeing their mother again?

A newsletter bringing you the latest in news about our neighborhood Pleasantview! We are starting this off with a historical overview of our neighbors and who they are.

Oldies

A beloved old couple, Coral and Herb raised Mary Sue Pleasant into the wonderful driven woman she is today. They are looking forward to spending their retirement getting to know their grandchildren and spending time with their daughter.

Burbs

Jenny is the sister of Daniel Pleasant, a woman with a workaholic drive. John is more than happy to stand by her side and support her with all his heart. Their little daughter Lucy hasn't decided what she wants in the world yet, but is looking forward to what she finds in Pleasantview.

Broke

Brandi Broke is the mother of Dustin and Beau. A friend of Darren Dreamer's, she had been happy in her marriage with Skip before his tragic pool accident. Brandi is devoted to her children and wants to give them the best that she can, but even before Skip died the family was poor. Brandi has found herself unable to work, as she has to look after her toddler Beau, leaving teenage Dustin as the sole bread winner of the family. He's found work as a runner for a local gang, but dreams of something larger than a life of crime, more secure. Angela Pleasant, his girlfriend, has all the luxuries he dreams of, and believes if a good girl like her could love a bad boy like him, it may just be possible.

Goth

The founding family of Pleasantview, the Goth family is an ancient lineage steeped in wealth. They have always experienced life closer to southern gothic horror than others may imagine, with mad men, tragic deaths, and more plaguing their history. Mortimer himself was a mad scientist, and a successful one. He married the beautiful Bella, and had two children with her, Alexander and Cassandra. The horrors that stalk the family struck again however, with Bella vanishing and leaving the family in their grief. Cassandra found herself dreaming of a true love that would sweep her away, and thought she found it in Don Lothario, the town's cassanova. They even became engaged! Alexander has clung tightly to his father as his closest friend in his childhood, and watches with caution as Dina Caliente courts his father for possible marriage.

Lothario

A man of pleasure, Don has two goals in life: love as many women as possible, and be admired as a musician. He has successfully seduced his neighbors, the Caliente sisters Dina and Nina, his maid Kaylynn Langerak, and the daughter of the Goth family, Cassandra. Sure Cassandra is far more serious about their relationship than he cares for, but he's sure he can handle it!

Caliente

The mysterious and beautiful Caliente sisters! Both are adoring of Don's love making skills. Nina is more than happy with their relationship as is, she doesn't want to be serious anymore than he does! As long as he gives her enough love she's happy to let him be and focus on her dreams of being a star athlete. Dina of course has always been more monetary focused. Her marriage to Michael Bachelor certainly helped set the pair up with their current lifestyle, but his death has her hunting again. Luckily she knew Michael's sister Bella, and about the Goth family through her. With Bella gone, Dina has her eyes set on a particularly large catch. Don is a far better lover, but Mortimer Goth is where the money's at.

Dreamer

Darren Dreamer is a creative man with big dreams. With his wife Darleen he had his son Dirk. It was a tragedy when his wife died a couple years ago. Slowly they've moved on from there. Darren fell in love with Cassandra Goth, though Cassandra hasn't noticed it, and has been close with Brandi Broke as they shared plans for how to work on a small budget. The family is struggling. Dirk found an escape from this in Lilith Pleasant. She is struggling just as much with life as Dirk is, but together they have found sweet moments of reprieve.

Pleasant

Mary Sue and Daniel Pleasant married some time ago and had baby twin girls. At the start of their relationship, Mary Sue and Daniel were madly in love. Daniel swept Mary Sue away in a wave of passion, and Mary Sue's melting under his attention was addicting. Of course, that changed when the twins were born, and they had to focus on the world beyond each other. It was clear to Mary Sue and Daniel that Angela was a good girl, and Lilith...was not. Of course they didn't do anything bad, they aren't terrible people or anything. They simply left Lilith mostly to herself, instead pouring their hopes and love onto Angela alone.

Mary Sue grew more distant as she became more and more involved with her career, working towards the coveted position of a board holder, while Daniel grew bored and frustrated from his wife always being busy. Daniel turned to the family maid, Kaylynn Langerak, to romance, and enjoy. It was easy to be happy when he could make Kaylynn forget her work under his touch, just like Mary Sue used to when they were younger.

Angela found a reprieve from the expectations of perfection her parents unknowingly placed on her in bad boy Dustin. She does her best to keep Dustin clear of her family, she needs to keep her good girl image up after all. Lilith is bitter from years of her parents favoring her sister over her, and Angela picking on her and claiming everything Lilith tries to claim. She dreams of a life far from her family, perhaps as a chef of some sort. Dirk Dreamer was the first person she can remember to look at her and really see her, Lilith, and not just a poor copy of her sister.

I am back to this blog to inflict you my TS2 adventures through the laziest posts imaginable, cause I can't be bothered, but I am having way too much fun not to document it anywhere outside of discord messages lol

Starting with my beloved Goths, Don (thankfully) fucked off the wedding, leaving Cass in aspiration failure.

Fear not however cause Alex had her back. They literally stayed there all night hanging out and then playing in the garden 🥺 it was so wholesome! They got into the habit of playing chess together, and they are besties ever since 🥺🥺🥺

And they both rolled a want to adopt a cat, so meet Virma!

And then came the post breakdown makeover ヽ(*⌒▽⌒*)ﾉ look at her 🥹

Now Dina in her angst to get that mansion got herself pregnant, but Mortimer not being an idiot moved all his fortune to Cassandra and trusted her to take care of the family's finances from now on. Still both Cass and Alex were really not happy to have Dina live with them. Like come on they used Cass' wedding everything. She showed up in her night gown and ate all the food in the back, Alex joined lmao

Then Dina took a major L when her son Vincent was born and Mortimer insisted he take her last name since it was just them sisters :) And worse of all Dina really didn't want to be a mother lmao. She rolled exactly 0 wants in relation to her kid. No worries though cause Cass was more than happy to do it! And so were Alex and Mortimer!

Also courtesy of ACR (that mod is WILD) Cass booty called Don despite being furious at him I'm interpreting this as hate sex and boom meet Valery! She has Don's sloppiness, eyes and nothing else!

So I really wasn't planning to post, hell I wans't even gonna play the premades long enough I just wanted to relearn how ts2 works bUt HeRe We ArE so I only have like the randomest pics x)

PLEASANTVIEW ROTATIONAL GAMEPLAY

► rotation 1-2: cassandra and don got married but she quickly caught him cheating so she kicked him out, gave a birth to their daughter, gabriella, mortimer and dina got married, dina gave birth to baby girl, fallon, and alexander turned into a teenager

we start the rotation with gabriella's birthday! she turned out lovely

while mortimer was teaching his daughter how to walk, dina focused on getting to know alexander and it looks like they actually get along pretty well (maybe too well)

it was fallon's time to grow up and she looks just like mortimer, i fear dina's genes weren't even fighting lmfao anyway! she also made her first friend, clara (i seriously have too many black haired kids)

all good things must come to an end and with the end of the 3rd rotation mortimer's life also ends. good thing he had time to get to know his daughter and granddaughter before grim reaper paid him a visit

mortimer's death didn't affect dina because not even an hour after he died, she started flirting with his teenager son that ended with alexander's first kiss and both of them falling in love. i don't know if i can defend you anymore, dina 💔 i swear it happened out of my control because i was playing cassandra and all of the sudden i hear first kiss melody and i checked and well . . . things happen i guess (i was so shocked i stopped playing)

anyway, i've decided i'll deal with their romance later

Rotational Save Round 2

Bjergsen: Sofia and Ripp got engaged, Ripp moved in , and they had a science baby, (since they had trouble conceiving) a little girl named Rachel. Sofia also got a job in the Entertainer career.

Elsa got to a B grade and also developed a crush on Alexander. She asked him to prom and he said yes. She voted for him for Prom Royalty. (Ignore the teacher in the back. That was Gunther’s non-existent husband from the previous round. I guess he didn’t like the kids taking pictures so close together)

At the end of the week, Ripp and Sofia had a glitchy wedding on the top of the floor of the renovated Von Haunt estate.

Goth: Cassandra, now a YA , was still having trouble finding love, but she finally settled for a guy who seemed to be a son of Mei Prescott and Kristopher Volkov from the gallery. He was also a werewolf. The two got married in her family’s backyard, in the rain and had a son named Bishop.

Alexander gained a crush on Elsa and they soon started dating. When he turned into a YA turned into a YA, he shared his birthday candles with Elsa. He promptly asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes. Oh, and Mortimer and Bellas’s son, Blake also became a child in this round. And Bella became an adult.

Luna: Karmine had a birthday party to celebrate turning into an adult and of course she invited Lucas as well as her friends Alex and Elsa. Xochitl was feeling how much older she was getting and (accidentally) tried for another baby with her husband, Chester . She ended up having another son, named Clyde. ( So many boys in this save)

Karmine applied for college and didn’t get a distinguished degree but decided to go to Brotchester to earn a degree in business anyway. She went on a first date with Lucas and confessed her feelings. The two ended up making out in front on the toilets at the Hare and Hedgehog cafe and they also had their first kiss. They’re so cute!

Munch: Lucas asked Karmine out on a series of dates and she even met his mother. Who seemed to think she was a bit naive?

He was picky. About woohoo and would turn her down sometimes when she initiated. He was having doubts about her at first and wondered if he should break up with her , but after having a talk with his mom and learning a lesson about love. He decided she was his soulmate and asked her to marry him during another date at the Hare and Hedgehog.

They WW at the cafe and Karmine ended up pregnant. Lucas asked her to move in with him. They had a son named Leland and then they got married in Tartosa after their son was born.

Karmine also managed to finish her first semester with a B. On their wedding night, she ended up pregnant again. This time with a girl. (Which I forced because the game tried to give me another boy🙄)

Oh and Gunther met the man who was his husband in a past life and although there were sparks, he was married to Miko Ojo. 😭Thanks Neighborhood Stories.

she deals with emotional and physical issues due to heartbreak or food positioning when she moves back home. her mother forces her to go to the hospital after being bedridden for days. As a result of her stomach sickness, she finds out that she's 2 weeks pregnant.

overwhelming, she tells malcolm, resulting in them working on their relationship as they still love each other. siobhan loves him so much she thinks she can look past his affairs as it was known to be set up by his mother.

who's a typical evil mother-in-law who likes to micromanage everything, including her son's life. nancy would do anything to get siobhan away from her son. siobhan knows it and is willing to accept the challenge.

Today I'm gonna be talking about the hidden Nervous that's in the game's files. The dude is seen in story images, the friday the 13th video, and even has his own memories. Olive even remembers THIS Nervous as her son, as she remembers giving birth to him. So what the hell is going on? I know that Strangetown already has problems with its data, and this is probably one of them. But it's fun to make it part of the story.

By looking at their memories, you can see that they are different from each other. Nerv remembers moving in with the Beakers when he was a teenager. While the hidden Nerv remembers moving in as an adult. What makes it more confusing is that the Beakers remember Nervous moving in when he was a child. It's pretty odd even without hidden Nerv, we got two different answers as to how old Nervous was when he moved in. So who's right? Let's say he moved in as a child since it's two against one. This ties into my theory of his aging process being all messed up. At the time Nervous moved in when he was a child, probably around 11 or 12. However his body aged up to where he looked like he was around 14. Nervous could also suffer from dissociative amnesia from the trauma and stress he has from living there, which could have him forgetting things about himself, like his age, Olive before he was taken away, and other foster families or orphanage that had taken care of him before the Beakers adopted him. Which is why he thinks he was a teenager at the time.

Back to hidden Nerv, why is he shown to have moved in as an adult? Why does he look different than the one that's playable? I'm gonna connect this Nervous to the psp version. Psp Nervous and hidden Nervous are pretty similar when you look closely. They both started interacting with the Beakers as adults, while psp it's said that he was employed as their test subject due to being short on cash and looking for a job. That could be the same reason for hidden, or they could have kidnapped him one day. They both look different from Nervous, though psp has a reason, as the limitations prevented him to look like the pc version. Both of them also died, though hidden is shown dying by a meteorite in the friday the 13th video and not from one of the Beaker's inventions like psp. At least both of them are free

I think that they're the same person, no, the same clone of Nervous. That's right, not only do I agree with some of you theorizing that psp and hidden are clones, but I think they're the same person. They are too similar to not be the same clone. I will admit there is one flaw. In hidden's files, there's an alternate icon of him as an elder

Why is this here, were the Beakers torturing this old man? I wonder if this is the result of both his physical aging and being experimented on. I think that they cloned Nervous after he ran away, and hidden was cloned as an adult. Which would make sense as his memories saying he "moved" there as an adult. He also could have been lying to the other residents. Hidden knows about Nervous and that he's a clone, so he tries to look different from him as best as he can when sneaking out, though he already looks a bit different from looking at his face. Which is why some of his hair is dyed in psp. Could be bi or something since he has a girlfriend.

His disappearance could be due to more residents finding it odd that he looked very similar to Nervous and the Beakers ended up hearing it from someone. So they made sure he couldn't leave, and the torture was worse on him because of this. This left him feeling more miserable than he was before. How he ended up looking 60 was from the Beakers seeing if they could switch up the effects of Mortimer Goth's elixir of life, by aging up someone. Of course they used their lab rat to see if this was successful. They probably were going to age him back down, but after one more test. Since he was already in a terrible state, the experiment that was done on him was the final nail in the coffin, and he died. Well shit, looks like we gotta get rid of the body and make another rat. Poor dude, I wanna give him a cookie

That would be hella weird to find that out for Annie Howell. Like you come to terms with your boyfriend dying and before you knew that you thought he ran off and left you for another. Then later on you see him looking different with his husband and stepson. Like what the hell, and it turns out your bf was a clone all along. That's gotta suck

This is part fifteen of my favourite series: the Chucky possesses Stan’s body at the end of Seed au! As always, Glen and Glenda go by he/him and she/her respectively until they’re fourteen, and this particular fic is about firsts of all different kinds, should be interesting.

First Steps:

After weeks of coaxing, Glen was finally taking his first steps! They were slow and shaky, but the 12 month old was cautiously toddling his way towards his proud father.

It was a beautiful moment. It was, at least, until Glenda (who was sick of the attention not being on her) stood up and smacked her brother in the head (sending him crashing to the ground) as she began to take her first steps. Chucky was a strange mixture of proud and horrified at this display of violence, but when Glenda made her way over to him, he embraced his daughter all the same.

First Pork Rinds (I desperately hope someone will get this reference, if not, search YouTube for the Seed of Chucky bonus feature ‘Vacation Slides’):

Two toddlers sat side by side in their high chairs. They looked curiously at the strange food their father had set before them, grinning excitedly as he did so.

“These are pork rinds, God’s gift to this earth. You’ll love ‘em, give it a try!”

Tentatively, Glen took the first bite, before pulling a disgusted face. He didn’t like the taste of this food at all. His face crumpled as he began to cry.

Sighing with disappointment, Chucky helped his son to spit his food out before turning his attention to Glenda, who was ripping into her pork rinds like a lion with a zebra carcass. When she was finished, Glenda turned to her father with a grin, sauce smeared around her mouth, and declared:

“It tastes good, Daddy!”

First Heartbreak:

Glen and Glenda had been obsessed with The Sims for weeks now. Everyday they’d log onto the computer and play with their little virtual families. But Chucky noticed different reasons for enjoyment in each of his children. Glen seemed to genuinely care about nurturing the virtual humans under his care, but Glenda relished in the chance to control and destroy fictional lives.

The twins were usually happy when they were playing, but today when Chucky walked past them, he heard them both cry out in distress:

“No!”

Concerned, he rushed over to them and found them both sobbing into their hands. When he asked them what was wrong, Glen looked up and tearfully announced:

“Bella Goth is dead!”

Then Glenda added:

“The fire was supposed to kill Mortimer and Cassandra!”

First Kill (Part One):

A cry came from the bathroom. In a panic, Chucky rushed in, before remembering decency and closing his eyes. Glen had been taking a shower, did he slip and fall somehow? He immediately asked what had happened, and Glen answered:

“T-there was a spider in the tub- I didn’t mean to hurt it, I was trying to get it out safely but- but…”

Glen couldn’t bring himself to finish. With a little coaxing, he finally wailed:

“I killed it!”

Chucky had to restrain his laughter. He loved his son, he did, but sometimes he still struggled to believe that they shared the same blood. All the same, he did his best to comfort Glen, and he even threw a funeral for the spider (despite how weird and uncomfortable that was). Tiffany even delivered the eulogy, Chucky filmed it, and he’d hold that over her as blackmail material forever.

First Kill (Part Two):

Glenda was sixteen now. And, like Chucky when he was sixteen, they were going on their first official hunt. The death of Chucky’s mother didn’t count, not really, it wasn’t anything special, so he considered the death of that janitor his first proper kill. So now, he was taking his youngest child for their first proper kill. There’d been a few practices on animals in the past, but the first time you intentionally take a human life is something you never forget.

Chucky did his best to make this special for Glenda. He bought them a new car (blood red, to hide potential splatters) and a brand new hunting knife, as sharp and as shiny as it could be. He’d also brought the biggest guns he had, along with a lot of ammo. This was almost like a rite of passage, and Chucky couldn’t be more proud or thrilled.

He watched excitedly from the shadows as Glenda stalked their prey, quite like an apex predator. After a while of taunting their hapless victim, Glenda pounced. There was a brief moment where Chucky feared that it had all gone wrong and he’d have to step in, but he’d taught his child well, and in no time at all Glenda’s victim lay dead at their feet. 

Glenda was now coated in blood (they’d been so excited by the first stab that they’d tried it again and again, letting out the most adorable giggle as they did so) and Chucky felt as proud as he had been when he’d held Glenda and their twin for the first time when they were babies. Glenda stepped into the shadows, where they were immediately embraced by their beaming father. With a grin of their own, they asked:

“Was I good?”

Chucky kissed the top of his child’s head and whispered the words that had changed the course of his own life so long ago:

“You got guts, kid.”

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 59 (Celebrating Holly & Kris' Good News)

On one of Ash’s weekends with the Landgraabs, Heather and Conrad finally pulled themselves from work in Brindleton Bay to visit her sister Holly in San Myshuno.

"Holl, you look great!" Heather said, smiling down at her large baby bump. "I'm so glad we could get back to the city to see you before you and Kris are knee-deep in diapers!"

"You make it sound like it'll be a bad thing, but we can't wait!" She grabbed her stomach and laughed. "Oh! She's kicking! Want to feel?"

Heather excitedly placed her hand over Holly's stomach, grinning as she felt a baby's foot against the palm of her hand. "I bet she can't wait to come out and meet you. It won't be easy, but at least you and Kris will have Mortimer and Uncle Karl around to help out."

Karl smiled. "I never thought I'd ever get to be so hands-on with a baby, but I think being Great-Uncle Karl will be pretty neat."

Mortimer smiled. "I'm already looking forward to when my grandson Michael can meet and play with his cousin Tetra."

"Tetra?"

Kris returned from cleaning plates in the kitchen. "Yeah, I mean, Holly loves fishing, and Tetra's a really cool name."

If Holly and Kris wanted to name their children after fish, Heather didn't care. "Whatever her name is, I'll love her the same."

Mortimer mixed non-alcoholic cocktails to toast Holly and Kris' impending parenthood, while he and Karl chatted with Conrad about his work.

"So, Conrad, how's life as a detective on the coast? Do you see many smugglers in the area?" wondered Karl.

Conrad shook his head. "I'm told it can get worse in the spring and summer, but the docks are pretty quiet this time of year."

"Smuggling was a lot worse before, but Brindleton Bay's starting to pull itself together," said Mortimer. "When Bella and I moved there after we got married, the place was pretty lawless. It fed right into Bella's depression and had us paying two nannies at a time to watch the kids. But the clinic really started turning things around, and the historical society pitched in to fix up the school and museum. One day, the town might even have a mayor!"

"Still, law enforcement can be a dangerous profession," said Karl.

"Brindleton Bay's a much sleepier town than San Myshuno, and it's a good team there," said Conrad. "I trust them."

"I think he just worries about any of it ever touching his niece," said Mortimer, with a loving glance to his caring husband.

Conrad smiled. "Only our dog ever comes to work with me. I'd never put Heather or her son in harm's way."

"Uncle Karl watches a lot of true crime documentaries," offered Holly with a groan. "Lots of stories about organized crime coming after cop's families."

"I'm not working any organized crime cases in Brindleton Bay, but if it came to it, I'd lay down my life for both of them."

"It'll never come to that," said Heather quickly. She made a mental note not to tell her uncle about her trip through the flame portal to learn from the dead, nor that they still intended to pull out Bella Goth's Grimophone to summon the Reaper himself, when they finally felt ready. "This celebration turned dark awful fast!"

"Sorry, sweetie. It's just nice to see you with someone who takes his responsibilities as seriously as Conrad."

They all knew he was slighting Malcolm but didn't bother to voice it, spending the rest of the weekend enjoying each other's company. ->

How do you choose your characters’ names? Choose your least favourite character so far.

Strap in because I'm going to happily ramble about my named sims, and gossip about those I despise! Content warning for sim death.

How do you choose your characters’ names? oh my gosh I have wanted to talk about this for ages Amy HOW DID YOU KNOW! It could almost be its own post. So when I started most of my characters had pre existing names because they were premades or from the gallery. I'll talk about the sims I have named.

Devin, Deanna, Silas and Milton were randomised names that I liked. Alexander's cats Hamlet and Gertrude come from the play Hamlet. Clover and Ginger are just dog names I liked.

Joey was actually named after this sea otter at Vancouver Aquarium! During the pandemic he was found orphaned and they livestreamed him in his nursery and meeting the older otters.

Kelly was named before he was born, I wanted a unisex name that could fit a boy or a girl. The boy Kelly I named him after is from Chicago Fire. He is not my favourite character but I do love the complex ones, so him being a jerk and Kelly being evil is one big coincidence.

Fergus and Carson were named with the randomise button, but I know of characters with their names so I kept them.

I wanted all of the Chopra kids to be named after wonderful black characters or persons of renown. The eldest Chopra twin was named after the actress Mercedes Varnardo who plays Koska Reeves on The Mandalorian. I love the spirit of Koska who is dedicated and loyal.

The youngest Chopra twin was named after the character Savannah from Criminal minds who married the main character Derek Morgan. She is an intelligent woman with a big heart.

And the smallest Chopra is of course named after Viola Davis. I wanted an old fashioned sounding name and Viola Davis is amazing.

Pollock Knightstone is named after painter Jackson Pollock. His father Adam is an art critic so I figured he'd name him for an out there artist.

Alfred and Rilian Villareal get their names from the areas of culture their mama and mummy love. Alfred is named for famous director Alfred Hitchcock (that's why he has a thing about birds)

Rilian is named for Prince Rilian from the Narnia books. Specifically Prince Rilian, who is the son of Prince Caspian, is a character in the Silver Chair (a movie I saw several times growing up).

I found Marta's name by looking at a list of popular Latina names. But her surname, Romero, absolutely comes from Romeo and Juliet. If you are attracted to pretty males and haven't seen Douglas Booth playing Romeo you are missing out!

Choose your least favourite character so far

I have several and thankfully they are all dead! It's hard to pick between these two though. Mortimer might beat Ophelia by a smidgeon.

Ophelia Ryan was James Goth's first wife. I hated her on principal because between rotations MCCC married them because James may have had a romance bar with Alexander but they weren't an official couple. Storywise I had her being a snob who only married James for his family status (James had the closeted trait when Alexander started flirting with him). Anyway she refused to believe James was gay, claiming no one actually enjoys woohoo, and was not going to let him divorce her so he could marry his boy toy. Then she had a cardiac explosion and died because she was a COW.

Mortimer Goth became a self obsessed mean man. First off he started blaming Bella for all their troubles, and called her a gold digger repeatedly. He was far more interested in writing his precious bestsellers than caring about his kids or wife. He only saw Cassandra and Alexander as their achievements, and let Milton lie in a diaper blowout for hours because he was writing. Oh and then he slept with their maid. Then he hired Dina to be a live in maid and slept with her before Bella disappeared. Then he was CRUSHED by a meteor made of karma.

Episode 27 - Mortimer proves just how capable he still is.

"Well Brandi, I don't know what to tell you my friend. There's another Goth baby on the way." Dina giggled along with Brandi as she spoke to her on the landline phone in the kitchen. "Yes, I didn't want to get my hopes up too high when I married Mortimer, with regards to becoming a mother, but it turns out the man is more than capable." Of course, Dina didn't let Brandi in on the information that Nortan was not Mortimer's son but actually Don's. No one needed to know that little tidbit. He was such a sweet baby, so she never thought of him as the little insurance policy that he was originally intended to be. No he was her beautiful little baby boy and he would be attractive one day. So he would have a lot going for him. The Goth name, wealth and a mix of her and Don's looks. He would probably be better off in that department than this new baby, if he or she looked like Mortimer - poor little thing. But it sure couldn't hurt to have more kids with Mortimer as long as he could manage. It would just secure her position further.

She was feeding Nortan his bottle when her labor started. Thankfully the butler was there to help and take over like a loving grandfather. He was a decent and kind old man. All went well and a freckled little baby boy was soon born. The name Caliente was so suitable. A tribute to her maiden name. She felt satisfied with how things were going. No one could ever accuse her of letting the Goth bloodline die out...

Side note: Dina got a new hairstyle 😉

It is often said that Dina has a mind of her own, but she is quick to disagree. She likes chocolate and enjoys the prestige and status that her marriage to the Goth patriarch gives her.

Oleander Goth

Oleander has never felt like he fits into the Goth family. With his strange appearance and lack of resemblance to his late 'father', Michael, it's only natural that he's grown restless under the eyes of the rumour-driven, wide-eyed Pleasantview folk. Maybe it's something to do with his blood.

Galina Goth

A strange genetic illness caused Galina to grow very ill as an infant, prompting her father, Mortimer, to place her in an advanced life-support system at a young age, in order to save her life. Contrary to her big brother, Oleander, Galina likes how she looks, and is determined not to let her illness hamper her dreams of a happy family life.

Isadora Goth

People often call Isadora a mini version of her aunt Nina, but her father always says she favours her mother. This giggling little girl seems destined for a happy, sheltered life within the Goth clan.

Cymoril (Dog)

For a member of a family stacked high with drama, Cymoril has lived quite the uneventful life. He enjoys his days spent jogging with his human mom Dina and playing fetch with the Goth siblings.
