Something about the idea that the anime names Ken as the fifth ex, and that he’s presented as the chiller/more mature of the twins (Kyle goes and taunts Ramona on the balcony, is the one to actually call her a slut, etc.), meaning that yeah maybe he was a player, but maybe he was also more willing to let that relationship grow. And the fact that he’s the one who gestures to Ramona (in her flashback in the last episode) rather than being mad at his twin seems less like it was a desperate attempt to blame her, and more of a “How could you date the girl I actually liked?”

I’ve never noticed this before but during the Meteor Shower scene, Barbie’s mood is evidently different depending on what choice you pick

If you pick the “Think It Over” option the next day Barbie and Ken are tense and awkward around one another, and you’ll notice how deflated Barbie is when Brooklyn was asking her how she’s feeling

BUT… if we pick the “Go Find Ken” option and Barbie spends the night with Ken watching the meteor shower, her mood is clearly elevated the next morning— the smile she and Ken shared with each other was sweet, not at all awkward, and she’s also smiling when she gets to Brooklyn

see it really is these tiny details that make this movie so much more enjoyable

and the tie is a plus, too, making it exceptionally easy to tug him into empty bathrooms or hidden, out-of-the-way laundry rooms and crush your lips to his, shoving your hands down his trousers or clawing eagerly at his belt buckle as he wedges a thigh between your legs and sinks calloused fingers and blunt nails into the plush flesh of your ass. the hiss he earns himself, hurled from your mouth to melt on his tongue, is sweeter than any candy ever could be, moaning a little as he sucks on the sound and grips you tighter, trapping you between his body and the sharp edge of a counter-top or washing machine to rut up against your hip or your touch, and, oh, this is so much more fitting than barbie and ken, don’t you think so, sweetheart? <3
