NOTE: Hanma genuinely doesn't feel like there's any 'special' incident that's made him stronger in any way. Hanma just...is. But this is more like a moment of confirmation to himself that he recalls that kind of dips into his self-reliance and reckless indifference to his own situation that he carries on later in life.

Hanma isn't surprised when he watches the front door swing shut without so much as a goodbye; he's nine and he's already used to nights being left alone. Maybe he should cry or rage. Other kids probably would. He doesn't. He's seen this happen dozens of times before The only thing noteworthy tonight is the fact he's just been released from the hospital after a fight gone bad. If you could even call it a fight. Hanma doesn't really think it counts as one, but it had been his first taste of defeat.

He'd beat up a boy several years older when he was starting fights and causing trouble just to feel something. Hanma had laughed at the older teenager too when he'd been sobbing on the alley floor nursing his wounds. Little had he realized the teen was part of a rather vicious gang of much older kids. But Hanma had even laughed then when he'd found himself cornered that night by the gang of teens seven years older than him because it was fucking pathetic. He'd stopped laughing when it hurt to much to breathe properly, let alone laugh, but his eyes hadn't stopped gleaming. He'd still stared defiantly even when he could barely move and had to drag himself out of the alley to the sidewalk. People had panicked; Hanma hadn't.

No one had visited during his hospital stay. Hanma didn't mind.

Now he was home after his stay at the hospital and his mother was already leaving. He didn't really care. He didn't need her comfort. She wouldn't offer any anyways. That was fine. He didn't care either. He didn't yearn for her love or attention the way most other kids on the streets just wanted someone's attention. Even in the face of his suffering, he doesn't need it. If there is one lesson Hanma has learned through this ordeal, it was confirmation of the fact that he doesn't need anyone. He can take care of himself. It isn't a bitter or sad thought, just an idle confirmation to himself. If he could handle this, then everything else should be easy.

Hanma slides off the couch and walks over the the fridge, letting the dim light fill the dark kitchen. He could cook - his grandpa had shown him a recipe he really liked before his hospital visit. But that was a lot of work and he didn't feel like it. Plus they probably didn't have the ingredients in the house since his mother hated cooking. So Hanma grabs the leftovers that appear most appetizing and pops them into the microwave to warm up. Once that's done, he carries the food into the living room and puts on a movie that he's probably too young for, but the blood and gore don't faze him. Maybe he's a little fucked up, but it'd be more surprising if he wasn't.

His grandpa calls, and Hanma has to fight the urge to roll his eyes. He's fine, no he doesn't need to come over, no he's not sure where his mom went or when she'll be back, yes he'll remember to change the bandages. When his grandpa says to stay out of trouble, Hanma only giggles and says goodnight before hanging up. ( Maybe he feels a tiny bit bad for his grandpa's tired sigh, but it won't stop him. Like mother like son in being disappointments. ) Instead he puts on another movie and feasts on the carnage until he gets tired. Then he makes his way to his bed and passes out until the next afternoon.

When he wakes, it's just another day of trouble.

Leo being put into a situation where there is absolutely no fighting, just verbal manipulation and perception games, would be amazing to witness. We see a lot in the series how good he is at subterfuge and how he uses his perception to manipulate to great effect, so it’d be so cool to really see it put to the test even more.

Manipulation is one of the most effective tactical strategies of all time, so just imagine Leo putting this skillset of his to the full test. Imagine the boys slowly get up to busting bigger and more powerful criminals, including those with networks of crime under their belt, and a simple fight isn’t enough to take them down. For criminals like this, Leo’s skills in subterfuge would be deadly.

Wu trained Morro at the same time that Garmadon was training with Chen which MEANS that Misako was around to see what the pressure of wanting and training to be the Green Ninja could lead to.

So later when she had Lloyd and KNEW that he would be the legendary Green Ninja, do you think she thought of the child Wu had once trained? The kid who became so obsessed with proving himself that he put himself in danger time and time again? The little boy who ran off into the night and never came back?

After seeing that, is it any wonder why she didn't want to leave her son-- the actual Green Ninja-- to be trained by Wu at such a young age?

Maybe a boarding school for bad boys would never make him want to be a hero. Maybe it would keep him safe from the destructive power of destiny. Maybe Darkley's was the only way to save her beloved son, Lloyd Garmadon, from himself.

Maybe Misako remembered Morro. And maybe, just maybe, she knew it would be best if her son never turned into someone like that.

Imagine if izuku let's his class know about his cool new super suit by one day coming in during their combat training and being like

"Today, your challenge is this!" *steps out from behind some other teachers who are overseeing, and strikes a signature AllMight pose with his hands on his hips* "DEFEAT ME!"

And his class full of kids goes wild at the sight of their sensei looking like a full on hero, until now they've really only seen photos and videos from 6 to 8 years ago when he was in the war and his second and third year at UA.

They ask him if his quirk is back, and Izuku smiles fondly and says no, but some very special people have created a way for him to do herowork again!

Laid to rest by ten thousand arrows — the fall of Lao-Shan Lung

HE'S FINALLY DEAD.

This oversized infant has been tormenting me ever since his fateful introduction as the Wall Of All Time in rank G2. It's difficult enough to just scare him off, but for months now, I've had my sights set on outright slaying him.

I tried everything. Aerial style great sword to the face for 30 minutes straight. Max dragon attack striker lance dash spam into his gut. Hell, I even tried the infamous weaponless strategy, frantically hauling cannonballs back and forth, calculating every single ballista shot, carefully counting flinches. But alas, Lao-Shan Lung was simply too powerful for one scrawny little hunter. I was faced with the horrible realization, that if I wanted to take him down alone... I was going to have to play a ranged weapon. (GASP!)

Anyway yeah those guides ain't joking lol dragon pierce bow is ridiculously overpowered against this guy. It took me 2 tries because I've literally never used a bow before, but once I got the hang of it, it was a super easy hunt. Here's the set that netted me a 20 minute Lao kill with both fortresses at 100%:

Magnastar Wil (Max upgraded Valstrax bow), Valor style

Neset Armor (Ahtal-Ka), full set

The luckiest fucking talisman of my entire life, Expert +9 and Crit Element +4, no slots

Armor skills: TrueShot, Pierce Up, Crit Element, Critical Eye 3, Tremor Res

Items: Power Coating Lv.2, Element Coatings Lv.1 and Lv.2, and an unholy amount of mega dash juice

A LOT of patience to obtain all of the materials for the armor and weapon. Phew!

Altheos Incanonis (the max Alatreon bow) is technically better, but there is no way in hell I was going to grind G RANK ALATREON solo, fuck that. I got stupid lucky with the Valstrax grind and got 2 mantles and an orb on a single hunt, so I just ran with it; Magnastar is more than capable of getting the job done, even in the hands of a clueless melee main.

Silliness aside, while i was gathering images from Moonlight Mansion for that last post, I uh... realized something kinda BIG...

That towering manor, with the big "M" doorway? A symbol like that kinda reminds you of a certain airship.... ...But no! Surely that decorated "M" stands for "Moonlight!"

Imagine if there is a cross guild, red haired pirate and Strawhat three way Davy back fight. And Mihawk and Zoro actually do get matched up but instead of a sword duel like they’d be hyped up for it’s a gun fight. And the only person that actually nominated a gunnman, Beckman, is the red hair pirates.

The first half of the competition is just Yasopp teaching both of them how to actually shoot a gun while Beckman watches amused at the identical look of upset on the swordsmen.

My personal take on the coalecroux official wedding rings (like they are dating and perhaps decide to do an actual wedding) is that they can look like anything but they must be enchanted.
