You know, the fact that Tonberry is in Crisis Core but without the Insta-kill ability is extremely funny to me. I know, logically, that that is because Zack's solo and Insta-kill would be a game-ender, but it's REALLY FUNNY (also they could have used the way Phoenix Downs worked in DoC, where you take it pre-emptively and it revives you. Dirge came first, after all!) like, is Zack somehow immune to that ability? Is Tonberry going easy on him?

Personally I think it's hilarious to imagine Zack with Cloud and friends fighting one and Zack isn't scared of it at all and just picks it up because he thinks it's kinda cute 😂 then it stabs him and he goes down instantly. And Cloud is calling him an idiot and tells the others not to waste their Phoenix Downs on him (Tifa does it anyway because she's nice)

well. the Mumbo Jumbo Look A Like was a stationary camera operator. (Was. He died recently. I'm very sad.) However! I have come up with a really dumb fic idea
