Everyone is freaking out. The titan tower was broken into, no signs of who it was, and Tim- Robin- is missing. There’s blood on the walls, taunting them, implying that Tim is going through agony, and they can’t deal with another dead Robin, they can’t- 

Meanwhile Tim is bemused, maybe a little concussed because that would explain things maybe, as he’s found himself in a living room full of books and there’s a pair of kids too? One is straight up adoption bait- wait no there’s three, with two of them being adoption bait and the third being a redhead. There’s a trio of small children there already playing by the couch he’s been bundled into. 

Where the heck is his mask- or his bo staff or any of his supplies- is that the fucking Red Hood?! No, couldn’t be, must be the concussion, because why would the Red Hood be feeding him a bowl of soup?

i need to speak my truth/get something off my chest so confession time (aka hot take time?): i never read Kaz and Jesper's relationship as Jesper having a crush on Kaz (please for the love of god don't hate me for this okay. im open to conversation but if you yell at me for this istg)

do i see why other people read it like that? yeah of course i do. it makes total sense, it's just never what i got from it. i always thought that what others interpreted as pining was just him longing for some kind of emotional connection with someone. Kaz and Inej trusted each other and communicated with each other in a way that they never did with Jesper. he was always on the outside, and it had to have been incredibly difficult. he saw that Kaz could trust someone, and he could have a close relationship with someone, just that that someone couldn't be him. Jesper's intense longing for Kaz to like him and trust him is something i have personally felt when watching two people that are clearly good friends interact. also, the desperate need to please and be approved of by him seemed (to me) very similar to the way i wanted my older sister to approve of me. it seemed (to me) like jesper wanted to be acknowledged as tolerable in a way that people dont usually want from partners. idk i just never read it as "Jesper likes Kaz"

It's a friday night, I'm on tumblr reblogging posts about Liam Payne, streaming my favorite group, wondering if the person I like is thinking about me the way I'm thinking about them, feeling a little lonely. Doing the same things I did when I was 13 at 25. So much has changed, but I just want comfort in times like this. I was hoping to be this active during their reunion or their anniversary, not like this.

I'm still a bit indenial that he's gone. It doesn't feel real. I don't have anything profound to say or the right words. I just want to grieve with people who understand me. We loved him together then, let's remember together<3

My writing/reading question of the day:

Do you prefer present tense or past tense? Or something entirely different like future tense? For writing AND reading🫶

The more I write (I wish I realized how fun it was before this year😭😭😭) the more I realize I like to play around with language & tense choice can have such a profound impact on how your writing comes across & even how I feel as I’m writing. With my oneshots I’ve been playing around with only present tense & my main fic is past tense (but present during the flashbacks - idk don’t ask it just felt right😆).

Or does nobody else think about tense and I’m just alone in this😆😆😆 LANGUAGE IS JUST SO COOL !!!!

wide awake for carcar teammates au... oscar finds that he doesn't actually mind carlos as a teammate. maybe in a different world, where they'd be in different colours, they would be strangers. but in this one, they're...good. it's hard to dislike someone who takes their job very seriously, and also always goes out of his way to bully a smile onto oscar's face. it's hard to dislike someone who was dnf'd because of a bad collision but still comes over to celebrate his teammate's podium with a sincere congratulations and a warm hug. if only he didn't like to hold oscar around the waist so often... or tug gently on his hair... or call him my love like it should mean something...

rewatching the first episode of Hannibal and holy shit I forgot how good this is but it's actually insane that Brian fuller set up the ep like this, he introduces will and Hannibal by first briefly showing them at their core, at the darkest, most vile part of them---we get a glimpse behind the curtain---and then its gone, the curtain is snapped shut and we see their masks, their human suits.

Will empathizes with killers because he likes it, and he wants to kill but he refuses to give into the urge because he knows how much he'll like it and he won't be able to stop. So he lives vicariously through other killers, satisfying his own dark urge by feeding it little morsels of secondhand blood lust. Every crime scene he works gives the urge something that satisfies it, not enough for it to grow, but enough for it be sate. Enough that he can ignore it for long enough that he can walk around and be Professor Will Graham who is Weird, Brash, and Non-sociable.

And Hannibal is a cannibal at night and a psychiatrist by morning.
