Oh so how about Scaled Herbalist!Zuko?

Miyuki sometimes carries Zuko/Spirit around like a kitten when they're still small.

It's slightly annoying when they steal her favorite sun spot. But they caught a mouse for her as an apology.

The soldiers that come to the herbalist are very concerned about the new pet, that reacts to the same name as her kid that keeps disappearing for some reason.

I hope this makes sense. Sorry for any mistakes.

"I told you," the tiny talking lizard says, "I'm a Spirit."

"Uh," says the Fire Nation solider whose chest is under his teenie-tiny claws.

"Now," it says, and it's impressive how much menace it can exude with the slow cattish undulations of its tail, or the way its little fluffy mane starts standing up hair by hair, "are you going to let me change your bandages, or will I need to burn out an infection?"

Its teeth are like needles and the soldier has a very good view of them. Its breath is very very warm and smells not unlike a coal fire.

"...Could you have opposable thumbs, first?" the man asks.

"Miyuki says thumbs are for the weak."

Teeth and claws approach the his face. The soldier whimpers, as eight ounces of baby dragon start methodically mauling his bandages off.

Pondering Ghosts are Dragons, and just rotating each design in my head I have for them. That is the ghosts we see in the show more than just once or twice lol. Just pondering each of them and potential types and descriptions and how the people of Amity see them, as they’re used to the dragons around, vs say someone from Outside, crossover or no, who are Not used to the maybe slightly eldritch undeath interdimensional dragons around everywhere. 

That is not normal for other people. 

To the Amity Parkers? Boxy is simply a chonky dragon with small boxy wings and covered in blue scales. To people just coming into the city, it’s like seeing a giant komodo dragon when you’re just walking home- not something you exactly want to see and something that is dangerous. 

Kitty’s and Johnny’s weekly relationship tussle? Par for the course really. But to visitors? Two giant wyverns tearing into each other, shimmering greens that could be scales, could be tendrils, and shadows lengthening and thrashing like a living beast all its own. 

And this is just the small dragonlings, not even beginning with larger ones like Pandora and Fright Knight, chill as they may be. 

Outsiders don’t understand that they’re more than just animals. Amity is used to this, but people who have no clue what’s going on? They don’t.

They call the police, the heroes, the government, for help, for answers. And that? That the GIW can use.

It was so dazzling that Cale closed his eyes without realizing it. But in the midst of all this, something faintly appeared in the center of the light. He reached out his hand without realizing it, even though he had his eyes closed. Soft. Something touched my hand. He realized that it was another front paw. When Raon was young, he was a little softer than usual, so Cale noticed it right away. He gently grabbed its front paw and pulled it. Then something came into his arms. The invisible Cale. He knew what to do before this bright light ended. He gently stroked the soft, smooth back and then lifted the small creature that fit in his two hands up high above his head. And the light went out. - Human, this is Eden Mir ! Cale and Raon, who have become invisible, were inside an aurora made of brilliant platinum powder. They could see a small dragon in the center. Eden Mir was half-human and half-dragon, but now appeared as a baby dragon. The dragon, small enough to fit in Cale's two hands and safely supported, slowly opened its eyes. The dragon bowed his head as if he knew who was supporting him. “… …”. “… …”. Cale and Eden Mir looked at each other. And Cale was startled. Because he saw dark brown eyes just like his own. A black body like Raon. But the golden patterns embroidered on its body reminded him of the Milky Way. And two small purple horns sprouted out. Half-human, half-dragon, possessing light and time. Eden Mir.

Raon's round eyes drew a crescent moon-like smile at Cale.

A voice that sounds like magic.

Although the voice was very young, it was Eden Mir.

-I like the name.

Belatedly, Eden Mir expressed his gratitude to Cale.

This is my oldest son, Serena. He is the result of a morally dubious government child experiment that cost millions of tax dollars. He takes a break from hunting down high-level targets to visit me on the weekends and eat my homemade meals. He's also a brat and eats rocks, but I love him.

This is my second son, Erik. He was enslaved as a child by a cult before being recruited by another slightly different cult. Then that cult subjected him to a less-than-sterile procedure, which is where I found him. He's probably killed a few people and eats rat poison as a snack. Oh, and that's his emotional support snake.

This is my other second son, Laxus. I actually watched him grow up with a somewhat happy childhood before his Dad decided the cure for asthma was non-consensual body modification. So then I nearly killed the dad and adopted the boy, as anyone would've. He was a happy child, but I can hardly blame him for his anger issues now. Valid, you know?

These are my five gremlins: Natsu, Gajeel, Sting, Rogue, and Wendy. Yes, it's normal for the eldest two to try and kill each other; we're working on it. No, don't intervene. They've got to work it out and you'll get your fingers bitten off. Sting and Rogue here are upcoming artists; this is their most recent drawing. Sting had the blue crayon, and Rogue took the green one. Impressive, isn't it? Oh, and Wendy here can fly - oop and there she goes. Yeah, I usually lose her in the ventilation system, but she comes out eventually for food. Just wave some food around, and you can get their attention. Just don't feed them past Midnight. What, you thought the gremlin title was just a cute nickname??? Do not feed them past midnight.

Oh, yes, this is the Guildmaster who could've been my adopted son, but there was a lot of emotional pressure, so I'm more just the distant mentor that he looks up to. Oh, but I do torment him and rely on him for most of my monetary funding, so...

Oh, and that's Gildarts. I filled more of a minor mentor role with him, but he was a pleasant child to instruct. Although, he has his daughter calling me 'grandpa' now, which... I'm slightly irked by.

And that's my eldest daughter, Mavis. Wdym younger than Makarov? She's the oldest one here. She founded the guild. Yes, she's mine. No, I don't admit it. I don't admit any of it! I am not a parent! he lets you sort through his hoard, rearranging it however you wish while he proudly watches, curled up at your side. if you enjoy small, meticulous tasks, Legacy would be delighted if you wanted to polish the glittery crystals and shiny metal bits, rumbling in satisfaction when you hold up each piece for him to inspect. this is your hoard too, after all! it became so the moment you wove the bond your share together, lacing your fingers with his claws- so you are more than welcome to place anything anywhere, as long as you take care of it. one of his favorite things is watching you, sitting between his claws as you carefully examine each and every item in his hoard- anything you seem particularly pleased with is pressed into your hands, a silent offer although you usually just laugh kindly and gently place it to the side

you're examining a small chunk of noctilucous jade when there's a soft tug on the back of your coat, and suddenly you're lifted into the air with a surprised yelp. Foul Legacy carries you a couple meters before setting you down gently on the largest pile of sparkly objects, admiring you with a soft, happy growl. he nuzzles his face against yours, scaled tail thumping contently against the floor as he silently declares you his greatest, most wonderful treasure. you blink, then grin, urging for him to join you at the top of this little world you've created together, and Legacy hurries up and curls around you before burying his face into the crook of your neck with a joyful purr

you'll have to come down, eventually. but for now you're content with being Legacy's favorite gemstone
