I'm opening commissions, sadly my dog passed away, and 2 of my cats are currently sick.
The bills alone for the cremation and euthanesia of my dog is 300€, and I dont even want to know how much the bills for the cats will add.
I would like to buy a new graphic tablet for school, so I'm opening comms to be able to afford it. I'm linking my carrd for anyone interessted!

Another thing, I will update Lionheart design and make him a bit duller like the comic adaptation of TPB.

HAWKFROST 🪝
The main antagonist and villain of The New Prophecy, Hawkfrost the deceitful son of his father, Tigerstar. He manipulated many cats including Mudclaw and his own brother, Brambleclaw, through constant lying and blackmail. This didn’t stop after he died and joined the Place of No Stars, where he continued to lie and manipulate cats, especially young Ivypool. It wasn’t until his brother killed him a second time that he finally stopped helping Tigerstar in his quest to torment the Clans.
Hawkfrost is meant to resemble more of his father and brother than his mother, Sasha, but he does have her blue eyes. He has a fish hook in his ear as a reference to John the Fisherman by Primus (a project idea I have for him), and his tail is meant to look similar to the feather of a hawk!

Actually sorry *pulls over chalkboard* I think warriors should've leaned into the idea of how in a, for a lack of a better word, warrior culture where strength is valued and being a leader of your culture is considered the most honorable thing you can do how living up to your parents legacy is a pressure to conform to that culture.
Arc one sets it up. Fire is new to the clan, he questions the culture, he manages to break some standards, but in the end he is assimilated. This is paralleled by Tiger, who was raised in the clans culture and is the most extreme of "I must be strong I must be a leader like my father and forefather before me".
Arc 2 sets up the consequences of this culture. Bramble feels ostracized from his clan because no matter how hard he tries to be the strong, noble warrior, he always has that shadow of his father looming over him. Meanwhile Hawkfrost shows up put of seemingly nowhere in RiverClan and is the paragon of clan culture virtues: he's a strong, driven warrior who strives to lead his clan. (Not to mention Tawny and Moth, who have both rejected the Tiger legacy and made a bame for themselves). I think for the next part of this what is now an au to work, Bramble also has to reject the Tiger legacy and the trappings of clan culture in general post-fox trap, ultimately stepping down from his deputy position and most warrior duties. In a way, he ends up a kitsitter, healer assistant, and at times advisor.
Arc 3 illustrates how clan culture treats those who reject it, such as Bramble. The 3 are still considered Bramble and Squilfs kits, but Bramble is their primary caretaker and Squilf is more their mother in name. They might also be each others beards. The 3 love Bramble, but see the way the clans treat him for breaking out of clan culture and strive to prove themselves more "worthy" than him. Lion attempts this by being the most battle ready and vicious warrior he can. Jay strives to prove to the clans that a blind cat can be a warrior (and ultimately, realizes that he can find joy in being a healer). Poor Holly, however, falls for the same pitfall that once tempted her father and uncle. She craves power, desires to prove that she can be the perfect warrior, deputy, and leader. When she discovers the truth of her parentage, it breaks her. She's no longer just the daughter of a craven, weak warrior (in her eyes), but now she's the daughter of a half clan, healer love affair. It breaks her, so she reveals the horrid truth and winds up in the tunnels, presumed dead. Her family, (and a pregnant Cinderheart), retreat into themselves and find solace in each other.
Arc 4 finishes up the idea of having to live up to your parents legacy (somehow). Ivy and Dove are born to Cinder and a presumed dead Holly. At this point ThunderClan is daddy issues central. Lion and Jay have a better relationship with Bramble (who did know), but there's still some tension. Following Holly's "death", the Firekin kinda... lost faith. Firestar still needs to hold up the thunderclan ideal, but Sand, their kids, and Bramble Lion and Jay are less inspired to hold up the clan culture ideal and more interested in the softer aspects: caring for their Clan, teaching the youngins, so on and so forth. Dove is more willing to follow this new ideal. Yes, she can be vicious and rude and is still dangerous, but she spent a lot of time with Grandpa Bramble and Uncle Lion and they've rubbed off on her. Ivy was raised as such too and they had the save effect, but apprenticeship changed that. Firestar wanted Bramble to mentor one of them, but he refused, suggesting Lion instead. Lion did mentor Dove, but Ivy ended up with the more traditionalist Thornclaw. This only worsened the influence of Hawk in the dark forest. I'm not entirely sure how this ends, but I know there needs to be some kind of reckoning with holly and her kids, and I think a thunderclan new wave culture exodus ft Moth, Breeze and Nightcloud. I started this ask at like 9:50 and it's 1:15
this RULES!!!!!!!! i'm absolutely eating up cinderholly! dove & ivy
this makes me crave more sort of emphasis on lineage, like lords underneath the king. the books already put emphasis on it but it would be cool if these lineages had power or at least social clout attached to them. they try to make it seem like they do but they never really...actually do it lol very NEAT au i am very interested :3

Seven Feathers - HawkLeaf
Tumblr media
I'm... gonna change some of these designs maybe.
Leafpool and Hawkfrost fell in love as Leafpaw was still, by name, an apprentice. She liked his ambition, and that little bit of Mothwing he has in him. He just liked her naivety, and the fact she was related to the leader. The same leader he tried to kill to get his brother in power, a plan that Leafpool and Mothwing had to stop, with Mothwing driving a pick in his heart. But, she was already bearing Half-clan Medic kittens, no matter if he was dead. Sparkstorm- the one who, by what everyone says, looks the most like her grandpa Firestar. Her jolly, insatiable curiosity is only rivaled by her ability to seemingly run for miles without being stopped, something she describes as "lightnings" hitting her legs and giving her all that energy.
Aldernose- the most anxious out of all of his siblings, he never wanted to become a Warrior, terrified at just the idea of fighting so the senior warrior (and great uncle) Twigtail (Longtail) took him under his wing to work in his garden. There, he seemed to thrive better, even helping in Medic duties from time to time, especially enjoying hunting for herbs, for he seems to have a knack for orienting himself.
Lionbloom- in Thunderclan, the spunky and confident Lionpaw seemed to have all the signs of a future Warrior, as he excelled in fighting, his blows knocking the wind out of his opponents immediately. But, abruptly, he ran into the Medicine Den in the night, not far from his ceremony, and asked to be made a Medic apprentice. Now, while working towards it, he's become snappier, but more somber, even malinconic at times. Yet, he now seems to have trouble tending to wounds without flinching...
Willowshine- Riverclan was so glad, after their Medic revealed she could not communicate to Starclan, they received an apprentice that was seemingly so easily connected to their ancestors. And even better, she seemed to always know what to say to cheer some poor cat up, from her patients to other cats who were ready to fight her clanamates over the border.

I feel like the fair criticisms of Mudclaw's portrayal in Winds of Change are both that he goes to StarClan and gets coddled/apologized to too easily (continuing a trend of no one with interesting nuance allowed to go to the Dark Forest just because they say they do it for the good of the Clan) and that the Hawkfrost aspect edges too much into the common warriors trope of the "inherently good" cats being really just manipulated by the "inherently evil" ones when Mudclaw's far more interesting being driven by his own goals and working for Hawkfrost out of mutual benefit, but guys it is NOT an inherent flaw in the book that Mudclaw's believes that he is doing what's necessary for WindClan to overthrow a puppet ruler as opposed to the apparently preferable characterization in Onestar's Confession where he is openly like "muahaha I just want power". No the existence of a villain who internally sees themselves as right and, while ultimately wrong because of how far he goes and the fact he's driven by xenophobia, is still at least understandable in his suspicions of a very suspicious succession situation, is not inherently apology for the villain. I saw this with Leopardstar's Honor too where people lump in legitimate criticisms of the narrative coddling Leopardstar with horror at the fact that Leopardstar actually believes her actions are right. But I wish fans were better able to understand the difference between the villain/morally ambiguous protagonist internally believing themselves to be moral and right and sometimes even having arguments you can partially sympathize with (which very often like with Mudclaw makes them more interesting, it's why I really like WoC despite aforementioned flaws) and actual framing of a character by the narrative as morally better than they really are are not the same thing. And that's especially important when both occur in the same book and one gets carelessly lumped with the other.

Ok! Explaining this succession map for Thunder Order!
Tumblr media
I didn’t have to change much bec thunder has a lot of nepotism but I did have to do some changes!
1. I made Sunstar Pinestar’s apprentice so he could be chosen.
2. Tawnyspots is now Sunstar’s mate! Sun has gay vibes to me and i needed a reason for Tawny to be chosen as deputy.
3. Bluestar is chosen by having been Sunstar’s apprentice
4. I decided Redtail will have been Blue’s apprentice so he could be deputy (this also makes his death even more hurtful to Blue)
5. Lionheart is now Sunstar’s nephew ! His father, Smallear is now Sunstar and Featherwhisker’s brother.
6. Tigerclaw is Bluestar’s nephew
7. Firestar was Bluestar’s apprentice
8. Whitestorm is Bluestar’s nephew
9. Sandstorm is Firestar’s mate
10. Brambleflower was Firestar’s apprentice
11. Squirrelflight is Firestar daughter
12. Hollystar (leaf) is Firestar’s granddaughter
13. Sparkfire is Hollystar’s sister
Further explanation for Firestar’s deputy craziness since I had to make some changes:
Sandstorm was deputy until she was taken by twolegs (she gets graystripe’s plot);
Firestar doest appoint a new deputy for a while like in canon and Shriketail (Firestar’s other mate) acts something like deputy for the time being but it’s not official;
Brambleflower is made Deputy but he steps down after his battle with Hawkfrost because he realized that he was going down a path like his father;
Squirrelflight is then appointed deputy, originally I wanted Ashfall (fur) to be made deputy but I couldn’t find a way for that to work with this new rule change. Now Ashfall is pissed that Squirrelflight isn’t his mate bec if she becomes leader her mate would be in line to be deputy. Squirrelflight stays deputy even when her mom comes back but she eventually steps down because she wants to have more freedom to spend time in Wind Order with Crowfeather.;
Hollyleaf is then made deputy! (She survives in this au!) she then becomes leader when Firestar dies!;
Sparkfire is made Hollystar’s deputy bec she deserves it!
