but all lighter can do is admire from afar. he wouldn’t want to impose on wise. besides, he probably has a lot on his plate due to the two jobs he has to juggle with his sister and, considering that the proxy had such a well-rounded personality and attractive characteristics, there was sure to be lots of people in pursuit of his favor.

(that's not to say lighter isn't attractive, though. he literally gets love letters-- which usually come along with letters aiming to challenge him but that's irrelevant-- and i do have eyes, thank you very much.)

he just thinks he's too much or not enough to be a lover for wise. lighter's past isn't quite as clean as he'd like it to be and he believes he's a little rough around the edges in terms of emotional availability, personality, and appearance, among other things.

so when the proxy confesses one day, the biker’s brain just... ceases all its functions because ??? what??? me?? he feels nothing and everything all at once because wise (wise!!!) just told him he likes him romantically. while he struggles to process this fact, a surge of courage just runs through wise and he pulls lighter in by the lapels of his leather jacket and its game over for the undefeated (now defeated) champion.

This was genuinely SO fun to draw. At first I was obsessed with trying to make this really polished since I was kinda making it as a gift- but around halfway through I kind of realized that I was having a blast just...doodling! So the end product ended up being a bit messy, but I think it ended up making it look more different. I'm not even going to lie the lack of people in the chairs was genuinely laziness on my part. But you can just say that this is a wedding photo that was taken after the ceremony.

It came about because I was thinking about how I could write Aym and Baal into a story and then an idea came and suddenly BOOM story idea

The basics are that after the Relics of the Old Faith DLC ends, the Mystic Seller (or the Eye as they are called in my AU) tells the Lamb that they need to go on more crusades. They will destroy "conduits of power" in each of the former Bishops' realms. But they need to bring Narinder and the boys with them so they set out to bring the boys to the living world

And constantly tells her Serena never stops talking about her?? 😭🥰 Serena introducing Shadowheart as her “closest friend” despite all the strife between them!!!?!shadowheart would want to be mean and snarky but man….i don’t think she could, tbh. Her soft side would come out instantly. Hoooh…the way she’d grow so protective!??

In all honesty idk if Shads would ever try to kill Serena at all- I��m not sure she could 🥺 Serena def wouldn’t defend herself against her. A child to protect means she might have to and idk abt that bc she cannot harm a hair on Shads’ head, morally. But I like the drama it adds? Shadowheart even perhaps being a little jealous bc SHE was supposed to maybe have that future for herself with Tav??? And she thinks someone else is in the picture???

Once again thinking about suicidal Percy breaking up with Annabeth while he tries to recover his mental and physical health by hiding within the safety of the Nome, and developing a massive crush on Carter in the process.

Zia subtly trying to remind Percy of his place by emphasizing that Carter is straight whenever she can. After a while of these, Percy gets the clue and holds her shoulders, like, "Zia, I'm not gonna try and steal your straight boyfriend from you. That's gross people behaviour. But I do think that we should talk about how hot he is together, and that should be the basis of our entire relationship."

He lets go and holds his hand out. She takes a moment, then shrugs and shakes in agreement. Carter now has to suffer through Percy teaching Zia how to catcall him when he walks by in his exercise shorts after teaching some of the kids, and Zia teaching Percy how to flirt with subtle and gentle words that make Carter squirm, his face burning.

After a few weeks of this, he watches them hunched over in a corner whispering. He doesn't trust it at all. And he's right not to, when a few hours later Zia starts dropping sexual innuendos with her smooth beautiful voice, stroking Carter's arm. Percy is giving her a thumbs up. She's grinning, cocky, and it reminds Carter just a tad too much of Percy and his near-manic victorious grin when he manages to catch Sadie in her own prank.

Zia pulls Carter off the couch and towards the bedrooms. As they pass through the doorway, where Percy is leaning against the wall, Carter hears a laughing, "Have fun!"
