Your commentary slays me. Tbh I really only dislike Anna’s cheek implants, they’re really awkward in the photos but some people have captured her in better light. But really I hate the quality of the dress material. Anna definitely got the better dress than Elsa and I’m an Elsa fangirl tbh. Sigh. Guess I gotta wait for the sequel to get dolls for them.

she does look pretty cheeky but I did get some screencaps of her where she looks that way, so I made my peace with it. I haven’t gotten a chance to really photograph her but I hope to soon. but tbh I stan her no matter what so I don’t care if she’s ugly.

what really gets me is the classic dolls have faux suede dresses and the LEs are just fuzzy, that seems completely wrong to me, it should be the other way around!!! the fuzzy looks cheap on the LEs and the faux suede looks bulky on the classic dolls :/ (moreso on Elsa, Anna’s outfit being 2 pieces helps in that regard) I love Anna’s look, she looks very neat and put together imo. 

I don’t like Elsa’s dress at all, especially the weirdo fur collar and the fact that out of three dolls (LE, classic, and hasbro) none of them have gotten the color right. and the fact that it’s WINTER! it’s literally winter! a time to go full-on pimped-out ice dress! time to really be a snow queen! but she’s just... wearing clothes??? it’s so weird. and I know it’s a tv special so they probably didn’t have the budget for anything elaborate but why did they have to make it so ugly lmao. her frozen fever dress was just her ice dress in a different color with the sleeves cut off and it worked. adding a collar does not work imo it just looks weird

my first custom doll! it’s Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug. i didn’t like the official doll so i decided to make my own.

i used the following:

head: Anna (Frozen Fever, Hasbro) body: Made To Move purple top jacket: made from scratch with the help of this tutorial top: top part from the dress of fashionista #69 pants: from fashionista #2, the only piece i didn’t alter in any way shoes: i wanna say they’re from a fashion pack but i honestly don’t remember. they were black originally.

i removed the freckles and repainted her lips.

also the hair that i used feels nice and soft but is absolute hell to work with, i did the best i could.

i’m probably gonna revisit her once i have more experience in customizing but right now i’m pretty happy with how she turned out. i’m not gonna make detail shots tho because i don’t want to give you closeups of all the flaws haha.

So recently I’ve been thinking about what frozen dolls that are left that I wanna get, mainly Disney Store dolls, and I decided to compile them into a list, and this is as of today 9-26-2021, in no particular order:

Frozen Fan Fest Haul and doll comparison/review

Well after a VERY long day, didn’t get a chance to unbox my dolls until the past hour), seeing most of the other dolls I wanted when I was out earlier, I FINALLY Got Me Some Frozen 2 Anna Dolls, The Basic Hasbro Doll you can just everywhere, and the Singing Anna Doll from the Disney Store!

Really Glad I was able to find both of these. For the Hasbro Anna I had to go to both walmarts as the first one barely had any frozen 2 stuff beyond what I saw when I went there last week, so I went to another walmart that’s a little out of the way I haven’t been to before and found her no problem and saw all the other Hasbro F2 stuff out currently! It all looks so good! The Disney Store Doll I found no Problem, They had Plenty of the Singing Anna Dolls, singing Elsa dolls, kirstoff dolls, and the prologue doll 2 pack, among most of the other disney store merch like the little figurines and such.

First Up I’ll be Looking at the Hasbro Frozen 2 Anna Doll. First Impressions I overall like her a lot, her outfit looks nice, her hair looks and feels great, Decently proportioned, and she’s pretty good for a hasbro doll

Her Face is Very Cute, very Warm and Friendly, even if it doesn’t look too much like Anna IMO.

Her Hair is also Very nice, and I really like the F2 Anna hair style with her hair down save for the one braid going around the back and down, this doll pulls it off quite nicely

Her outfit Looks nice but ALL the Detail is printed on, though some other Hasbro Dolls have a physical sash on her waist and not a printed on one. My problem with her outfit is i’m not a fan of the Weird...idk.. Felty I guess... Material they used, The un even loose ends of the Coat/Cape thing gets stuck on the main dress a lot and this outfit just doesn’t feel good to touch or hold honestly

Also the Coat/Cape thing both a separate item from the dress and attached to t he dress and can’t be removed. Kind of a Bummer Honestly, though some Hasbro Anna dolls don’t even come with it so that’s something.

She Has Painted on legs, and Barbie Heel Feet like other Hasbro Anna Dolls. It’s fine for a Mass Market Retail doll. I don’t expect pants or leggings but they would be nice.

Her Boots are nicely detailed, though sadly unpainted. Some of  the Hasbro F1 dolls have Painted details on the boots, and others don’t so I guess this makes sense.

Problems with the outfit aside I quite Like this doll, especially for a Hasbro doll, they are definitely getting better!

Next Up is the Disney Store Singing Anna Doll. Fist Impressions... I LOVE THIS DOLL!!!(for the most part). I really only have one or 2 minor issues with her and that’s it

Her face is Amazing. The new Face Sculpt just looks fantastic, though slightly annoyed at the side glace but it looks good on her. We’re Getting closer and closer to that 1000% on model Anna Face, we just need her to have a straight glance. Also you can kinda see it in the pic here but she has a weird smudge on her face. not sure why, was like that in the box, gonna try to get rid of it.

Her Hair Looks very Nice, Loving the Curls, BUT...it’s style glued in a way to look like it’s blowing in the wind. Not a fan. I Love the curls but would rather just long straight hair, might fix that maybe, if not on this one then on other Disney store F2 Anna dolls I know i’m going to get.

Her Outfit Looks FANTASTIC. She actually has a sash! (even if it’s only on the front side). All the Detail Looks awesome and so far spot on to the movie!

You can Actually Remove the CoatCape thing! and she Looks really good in just the black dress

Though the Back side is Plain and has nothing going.

The boots are Very Nicely Detailed, have the Purple underside (kinda hard to tell here), and have the gold bits painted on, though the boots this time around feel way more soft and rubbery in comparison to the previous Disney store Anna Boots.

Undressing her and she Has Painted on Leggings/Pants (and it’s not just her legs like the hasbro doll), which the disney store Frozen Fever Anna dolls also had. Kinda bummed out but not too surprised. Also she has One Articulated Arm and one non articulated arm to accommodate for the singing feature. 

Her Speaker is in the shape of a heart and I dig it, I think other singing disney store dolls also have heart shaped speakers. For most of today I thought the singing feature on mine didn’t work because I couldn’t get her to do it in the box, but figured it out at around midnight and got it to work. I would post a video but it’s VERY VERY Loud surprisingly and I don’t wanna wake my folks up. She sings A snippet from “The Next Right thing” and it sounds great, will post about tomorrow.

Overall I REALLY Like this doll. She looks great, is amazingly deatailed, and is just a beautiful Piece. Definitely Looking forward to hopefully more articulated non singing variants that i’m fairly certain are coming. I think that JC penny Anna and Elsa set might not be as articulated as regular disney store dolls like the previous JC penny dolls, though IDK yet this is just a guess.

Final Thoughts, I’m Very Very Happy with these dolls. I’m slightly disappointed with The Hasbro Anna mainly with her outfit but she’s still great. I  L O V E  the Disney Store Singing Anna (though I really don’t care about the singing feature), Really Happy to have a Brand new Disney store Anna with a brand new face sculpt, with her Awesome Frozen 2 Look. Definitely Looking forward to getting more Hasbro and Disney store Frozen 2 Dolls.

Over the weekend I had a brief conversation with @annasource​ about anna dolls, and after hearing them mentioning taking a pic of their collection of Anna Dolls, Decided to take another one of mine.  So Here it is, all 16 of My Princess Anna Dolls ( and my one Disney Store Elsa Doll in the back behind all the annas)

The Top Row is all my Disney Store Dolls (From Left to Right): Two 2013 dolls, a Coronation day Anna from one of the Boxsets, My 2015 Anna (who’s also my first Anna doll), My Sorta Custom Coronation Day Anna Made from a Frozen Fever Anna and the Disney Parks Dress set, Two 2018/2019 Annas (Because I inadvertently ended up with two, and whom I’m not that fond of, especially their weird face and awkward flat feet), and Lastly one of the Less articulated Disney Store Anna dolls, with her hair down and wearing some 90s barbie clothes and the heels from the Disney Parks Dress set, because she initially Came in those Garish Bootleg Anna clothes to her right.

The Bottom Row is all my Mattel and Hasbro Princess Anna Dolls (Left to right): A 2013 Mattel Anna missing her skirt, boots, and Cape, a 2014/2015 Anna with her hair dow, a Troll wedding Anna from a Box Set, a Coronation Day Anna also From a Box Set, a Mattel Frozen Fever Anna, a Hasbro Coronation Change Anna, a hasbro Frozen Fever Anna, and Lastly one of the current Hasbro Frozen 1 Anna Dolls with the smaller proportions and the Side Glance that I despise (i’ve gotten used to it on the Disney Store Dolls but I just think it looks really bad on the current hasbro Dolls)

I still don’t have the hasbro ralph breaks the internet Anna, but it’s showing up more in stores so I might try to grab it soon, and i’m DEFINITELY looking forward to the Hasbro Frozen 2 Anna, She looks Great. Also I’m really hoping if/when the Disney Store Frozen 2 Dolls Happen, they don’t use that Awful face the current DS Anna Dolls have.

Some High Quality Pics of some of the Upcoming Hasbro Frozen 2 dolls

 As Reported by YouLoveIT, Someone from china decided to Put some of these dolls on ebay early, and These, especially The new Annas, Look VERY good, especially compared some of the other recent Anna and Elsa Hasbro dolls

Regular Frozen 2 Anna, Her hairstyle so far translated really well in doll form, and her pants/Leggings are painted/molded on like the Frozen Fever Hasbro Doll.

Hasbro Princess Anna Doll Old Version vs. New Version Comparison (part 1):

Went out shopping earlier looking for the old and new versions of the Hasbro Princess Anna Dolls, and while I was able to find the new version no problem, I couldn't find the old version of regular Anna. I did stumble across Frozen Fever Anna in the older style so I grabbed her to use in this comparison. I do plan to get regular Anna in the older style hence why it's part 1, and I found out in my research that apparently there's some differences between some of the older style Anna Dolls such as one of the coronation dolls having articulated arms. Anyways with that out of the way let's get to the Comparisons

Initial Comparisons:

The Boxes are... Nice looking doll boxes. Not much to say there other than I really like the art on the back of new regular Anna (right) along with her description: "A free spirit, Anna is fiercely loyal, determined, and courageous."

Out of the Box Older Anna is Taller than newer Anna both with and without shoes, not counting the top of the bun on older Anna. As I mentioned in my post from yesterday I'm not much of a fan of the face (and side glance) of newer Anna. She almost looks confused in a a way. Also in my research I noticed that older regular Anna has the white streak in her hair while the newer version doesn't. Older Anna's head is bigger and longer, while newer Anna's is smaller and more round.

Also noticed some slight skin tone differences between the two, with newer Anna having an ever so slightly darker skin tone. Older Anna has a skin tone more comparable to the Disney Store Anna Dolls.

Undressing the two and you notice some of the proportion differences. While the Arms and Legs practically the same, the torsos are different. On older Anna she has a wide-ish waste that goes into a much more slim upper Torso. Newer Anna has an upper torso that's more proportionate to her waist that's overall wider than older anna, and has less pronounced curves than older Anna, but has a more pronounced belly button than older Anna. Newer Anna has a somewhat shorter neck than older Anna.

Size/Height comparisons:

Some Size/Height comparisons between these 2 and various other dolls I have:

First off here's the 2 next to a 2013 Disney Store Princess Anna (in the outfit of the 2015 version), she's taller than both and feels like a much heftier compared to these 2 Hasbro lightweights.

Here's them compared to a Made to Move Barbie on the left (with added heels) and an older Mattel Rapunzel doll on the right, who's smaller body type would later be used for some of the Mattel Princess Anna Dolls. Rapunzel's proportions are similar to the Hasbro Dolls, and is slightly taller than newer Anna while about the same height as older Anna. My Made to Move girl is taller than everyone

Here's the 2 compared to another Hasbro Doll, a Star Wars Forces of Destiny Rey of Jakku (TLJ version), who's about the same height as newer Anna. Since she's more action figure than doll the proportions are vastly different by default.

Lastly here they are compared to other fashion dolls with larger heads, a Liv Doll (by Spinmaster) on the left, and a DC Superhero Girls Batgirl (From Mattel) on the right, and both are taller than the Hasbro Dolls.

Final thoughts:

Overall while I do really like these 2, I can't really say if one is better than the other for me personally. Granted that could change if/when I get some of the other older Anna Dolls, and do comparisons with those, do head swaps onto other doll bodies, etc. Most of which will be shown off in parts 2 and maybe even a part 3 if/when those ever happen.

Hi my daughter got a frozen II Anna Hasbro doll and her legs are a much darker skin tone. Not like the green you showed in your pics but like a dark tan while the rest of the doll is more white. Was this an error? I'd appreciate any feedback you can give. Thank you Ally LaBar

Hellos! The Hasbro Anna I have with the green Legs is Anna from Frozen Fever, not the Frozen 2 Anna, which is an older Doll. I took that pic about a year out from F2 so those dolls weren't a thing yet.

So I Dressed My Disney Store Anna (2013 version) in the (older) Disney Store Coronation Dress (and Tiara), and I gotta say, She Looks Amazing in it. Ended up taking a few pics of her and out of Curiosity I dressed My Disney Store Coronation Anna Doll in Anna’s Snow Gear, and it Looks... off. I don’t know how else to put it. It makes her kinda look like a Mom Dressed up as Anna for Halloween. In the last 2 pics I put the Hasbro Coronation Tiara on her and It looks Good on her despite how big it is. I do find it Kinda Interesting how So Many Anna Dolls come with some variant of this Tiara even though she never wears one in the movie (To my Knowledge). Heck even the Frozen Fever Freemium Puzzle Game has it in some levels.

P.S. In that last Pic I was using 2 Different Barbie stands that have differently sized bases, so that’s why there’s a height Difference
