So at SDCC Hasbro has a HUGE Archive Display of their old Toys (and Kenner toys too) celebrating their 100th anniversary, Lots of dolls and misc stuff. I see Kenner Darci, Dusty, and Synergy from Jem on a weird Lama for starters. Lots of cool stuff here.

Hasbro 1993 Zero

I really like this version of Zero! I don't care that the plastic yellowed. The ears rotate! He just seems so much closer to authentic than the chibified short-snooted modern merch.

I just put him on a random hot pink Barbie table base that I had out at the time. His head is hollow and the base fit right in there 😅 A clear one will be better.

Can Hasbro just like, ReRelease the Jem and the Holograms Dolls? Like just do mass market release Repros of the old dolls? I think there would be a pretty good market for that, and it'd be a neat way to gauge interest in Jem that's not just comics or a bad live action movie no one remembers.

Also Hasbro has been doing Repros/Releases of old toys, both with the G1 Transformers and the Kenner Raiders of the Lost Ark Figures, so it's totally possible.

I think about Trashion Alley a lot and how I would have LIVED for it as a kid. By the time the dolls would have released I would have been to old to play with them really (as in I was no longer interested in doing so myself) but I would have collected the HELL out of those rat dolls :(

I love tiny things and especially that “small humanoid/anthropomorphic creatures making things out of big things” idea. Button plates, thimble cups, shelves made from sardine cans and popsicle sticks, that one Ghibli movie where the tiny girl has a chip clip as a hair tie. YES. MORE. I love it so much.
