D9/ Navamsa chart observations - Part 3
Tumblr media
Jupiter in 9th is a great placement, even better if it's the 7th lord or darakaraka in d1. Your spouse will be intelligent. there's also a chance that you may do your master's or PhD after marriage. Your spouse can also have a job related to spirituality (one of my mom's friends has this placement and his wife is a reiki healer and also teaches meditation and hypnosis)
Jupiter in 10th is another really good placement. You and your spouse could start a business together, or you may meet them in your workplace. This is one of the placements that indicate that you'll earn more after marriage or once you start working WITH them (okay, so this example is interesting, i dont know how many of you know this, but there's an Indian company, dabur, and one of my relatives got married to the daughter of the brother of the guy who currently owns the company and let me tell you something, they are RICH RICH RICH, and like they helped my relative set up his own company and whenever we visit them, they give us such expensive gifts, you won't even find them anywhere, like custom made stuff) so if other factors support this, then you can get married into a super rich household
Venus conjunct ketu in 4th is a super common placement but I've noticed that it gives different results depending on what the ascendant is. A common prediction would be, that you guys will not get along with your spouse's family, you're gonna think that they waste too much money when they already have less of it. This is especially true for mother in law (I know a girl with this placement whose mother in law spends a lot on shopping and then asks for money from her, and she has to give in because divorce is not an option) i would recommend you guys to marry someone who doesn't have a mother 🥲
I KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE WITH MERCURY IN 8TH and it's so fascinating how it has the same exact effect on everyone. Okay, so this placement gives you 2 things, first, you'll gain a lot of money through joint accounts with your spouse, this could also be a marriage where you guys stay together just for money, a lot of celebrities have this placement. Second, your spouse is gonna hide things from you, like their salary (i know a woman with this placement and her husband was promoted and he told his wife that he was still doing the low pay job and he opened another account where he saved that extra money, while their family was having financial difficulties and stuff, it was a BIG deal)
Mercury in 11th is a nice placement, this could indicate a friends to lover type of story with your spouse. They could also be an extrovert, especially if mercury is in gemini. You guys will be focused on earning money but your whole focus won't be on money, like in 2nd or 8th house, it's gonna be more like "oh, this looks like a good idea, should we invest in this" kinda thing, i would say this is more like, both practical and romantic relationship
Tumblr media
Moon in 8th..... Not exactly the best placement. Almost all the people that i know with this placement have been cheated on by their spouse, and again your spouse could hide things from you, but this time it's more emotional. Also, i have noticed that a lot of people with this placement marry someone who's in the closet, so their partner isn't affectionate and loving towards them and they think it's their fault but it's not, but it still ends up hurting them. You, yourself, could hide your feelings as well, and your spouse can see that and that's why they hide THEIR emotions, it's like a cycle. (if you have this, i would recommend you guys to go to therapy, heal your trauma and only then get into a serious relationship and sometimes you push your feelings down and you think you're over it, but you're not)
Mars in 8th can give very different results, but it does give you a spouse who is very sexual (and believe me, it's not always a good thing). If Mars is strong then it gives extremely good results, the ability to defeat your enemies and win, i know a person with this placement and she's a woman and people around her have always tried to ruin her life and she still managed to get up and is now living a great life. But if Mars is weak or worse, debilitated, then it can give an aggressive spouse, i know a person but i dont think i should share her story with you all, but if Mars is weak then... Don't marry. BUT if 7th lord and darakaraka of d1 is SUPER STRONG in d9 then go ahead.
Venus in 2nd is like okay okay, not bad but not good. I feel like this placement works better when it's in the cart of a man rather than a woman. The spouse will be good but will be more focused on earning money, even if they're already rich. From what I've seen, men are okay with wives like that, but women aren't, they need emotional security so being with a man who is focused on money makes them sad and lonely, whereas, men with this placement are more than happy to get wives like that, In MY opinion.
Sun conjunct ketu in 11th is another placement that is common, I know a lot of people with this. So, you will gain wealth but it's going to come very slowly, the type to MAKE generational wealth but not able to enjoy it. Also, i have noticed that these people always end up marrying someone who is in a lower position than them, career wise and so they support their spouse and at the same time take most of the financial responsibility of the family.
Ketu in 8th is SUCH a strong indicator of having a kid before marriage, or atleast getting pregnant. All the celebrities who've had a kid before marriage have this placement, Angelina Jolie and Shakira are two that i currently remember but I've seen it in the charts of a lot more. And listen, THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS, OKAY.

12th house and your past life karma
all you have to do is look at what sign your 12th house is in for example if you are an aquarius ascendant you'll automatically have capricorn in your 12th house etc. this house is only for the 12th house signs but I'll also be making a post on the 12th house planets and what they mean regarding past life!!
Check out my paid readings
Aries -> Having Aries in your 12th house means that you were native was mean, stubborn, had no respect for life, and were insensitive to the pain and sufferings of others. You will have pay the Karmic debts by becoming sensitive to the pain and sufferings of others.
Taurus -> In the past life you were a miser, greedy, and a wealthy person . In this life the lesson you will learn is about the values, realising that material things do not necessarily bring happiness, love, or fulfilment Being a Gemini ascendant in this life you will pursue your mental objectives and dreams neglecting material possessions.
Gemini -> You Misused your power of communication by spreading lies perhaps careless driving that have caused someone harm, spreading rumors, using media or communication power to tarnish someone's image, mistreatment towards your siblings. Your good contribution towards treating people with care is zero in the past therefore with Cancer ascendant in this life you will pay motherly attention and extra care for all
Cancer -> You were completely unfaithful and irresponsible in your home life. Mistreated your family members especially your mother and children even daughters. Therefore, in present life as Leo ascendant you will suffer with lack of love and attention from your home. You might feel as if you are loved by the society but not liked that also for who you truly are.
Leo -> You might have abused your power and influence for own advancement, controlled others, was selfish, didn't give any value to others love, negligence of family duty and lack of responsibility for your own children in previous life you enjoyed and satisfied your own needs and appetite to the detriment of others. In this life having Virgo as the ascendant you will pay for your sins by serving others.
Virgo -> Might have mistreated and criticized others too much, misuse of power, caused people psychological torture, wrong attitude and action. In the present life you will be the one getting criticised for not giving any importance for details and will yourself be criticized for not doing justice.
Libra -> Your karma might mainly be related to marriage or partnership(business probably). You might have cheated in your business or on your spouse, spoiled someone's married life, has affair with relationship with married people dishonesty, or might have abused your life partner in the past life. With getting everything and everyone in your past life that you wanted without thinking of any consequences for anyone in the past with Scorpio as the ascendant in this life you will always feel misunderstood by others and might never be able to show who you are in your relationships
Scorpio -> took advantage of other's weakness for profit, theft, cheated in business dealing, sexual/emotional exploitation? not sharing the knowledge or right sources. In this life with Sagittarius as your ascendant you will always be the one looking for the source and answers spreading knowledge everywhere.
Sagittarius -> In the past you might have been fully immersed in spiritual and philosophical theories not caring about real life or the people that you are connected with. Irresponsible acts or mistakes made while traveling cause harm to people as well as animals and forests, intentionally or unintentionally. Self-centeredness, neglecting the needs of others, not sharing his knowledge to help others. In this lifetime as Capricorn as ascendant the native will barely focus on spiritual qualities and will run only for the material goods while never being able to express themselves
Capricorn -> You were ambitious and achieved material progress by walking over others in previous life. You were responsible for someone's grief. In present birth with Aquarius ascendant your ambition will only exist to serve other people and you might not be able to find out who you truly are alone while searching for places and people to belong to.
Aquarius -> very foolish and impatient, lack of good logic supported judgement. Walking away from responsibilities in the last life which will in present life causes the person to be dependent and serving others.
Pisces -> In the past the you tried to satisfy his greed by causing others emotional damage, unintentional negligence that resulted in someone's suffering, unable to fulfil own duties because of mental or physical disability. In this life might pay back by always listening to others, having to be there for others having their own suffering neglected by everyone unintentionally

Stardew Valley Age Headcanons [Marriage Candidates]
I tend to put my farmer character at about 23/24 years old, so this is based off of that!
Alex: 21 His obsession with how he looks, him being unsure of himself, as well as his cockiness just leads me to believe that he is younger.
Elliott: 38 He is an older Bachelor alongside Shane and Harvey. He, clearly, had enough money to not only uproot his life completely to move to a small town to focus on his book, but to also had enough money do so without getting a job in town, leading me to believe that he has worked a long time to be able to afford this.
Harvey: 42 Another older bachelor. With the idea that he went into college right at 18 to be a doctor and spent eight years in school, making him 26 when he graduated. However, alongside the secret notes, him talking about getting older during one of his cut scenes, and just his general way of carrying himself while in a relationship with the player it does lead me to believe that he is older. That and the idea that he might be going through a midlife crisis.
Sam: 20 A relatively immature resident of the village, this is shown with the whole egg incident and the skateboarding incident. Instead of just automatically owning up to it or apologizing he tries to get us to take the blame or laughs it off. He hasn't learned to cook, instead of learning to do farmwork he just says if he knew more he would help, he is okay with being a sloppy, all of this just leads me to think he is younger.
Sebastian: 22 He is in a band with Sam and Abigail, which leads me to believe that he is around their age as well, but with his career in programming it does make me think he is at least a bit older.
Shane: 32 The last bachelor mentioned in Secret Note 7. Jas being his goddaughter leads me to believe he was at least a young adult when she was born.
Abigail: 19 The third member of the band, Abigail is a drummer. However, it's her relationship with her parents and the way that she fights with them is what leads me to believe she is one of the youngest villagers. That as well as the joke she makes if you win the game during her two heart event.
Emily: 23 A seamstress and a bartender, I feel like Emily is the older one of the two when it comes to her and Haley, and I feel like it is a decent age due to differences in maturity, how they treat others, how they treat their living space. I also believe this since it seems that she has been practicing her spirituality for a decent length of time.
Haley: 19 I feel like Haley is a somewhat fresh highschool graduate, still able to get away with her self-centered attitude and how she treats others because her age allows more people to give her some grace. The way she talks to the player is dismissive, rude, and insulting at times. The way she handles the whole "cleaning under the couch cushions" issue as well just leads me to believe shes younger and a bit immature.
Leah: 27 I place Leah as the oldest bachelorette due to similar things as Elliott. She moved from the city to the country to pursue her art dream while not having to work a regular job within the village. She has worked hard over the years to save up enough money to do this. Though we do have to help her when it comes to selling her art, and she does mention that it's hard to make it by as an artisit, she did used to live in the city as well as have a previous, serious relationship which just leads me to believe she has more life experience than most of the other marriage candidates.
Maru: 20 While she does work at the clinic, she is a front desk person. She is, however, very smart and dedicated to robotics and science as a whole. This leads me to believe that she's younger and possibly even in an online college of some kind even if that isn't mentioned in game. She is also younger than Sebastian, as she is Robins daughter and his Half-Sister, and Sebastian was from Robins previous relationship.
Penny: 20 Having Pam as her mother has made Penny mature faster than most people her age, which is why even though I do headcannon her as younger she can come off as older and more mature in her dialogue. Especailly since she is the teacher for the town. I do, however, think that she is either in the process of becoming a teacher or is looking to start it due to her love of children and wanting to help others.
I also have age headcanons for the other villagers, I might make a seperate post about that at a later date.

Hello, I’ve wanted to ask this for quite a long time, but only today I found enough focus for it, lmao.
TF is Chad up to?
To be more specific: I’ve noticed that he seems more connected to the Island than other household members (not counting Sunny)? Fact that he genuinely cares about going outside is part of what I mean, but it’s mostly about these lines:
“So be kind to this place, the one we share with the birds, the fish, and the trees. Take care of it. And if we do, I’m sure the spirits of this place will return the favor. I only ask them to protect you- keep you safe.”
“He quickly thanked the stars and the island for returning his daughter safely to him, hoping maybe there was someone or something out there watching over her.”
It kind of feels like he’s really into this spiritual (idk if it’s a right word) aspect of living on the Island, and I don't really remember rest of the family mentioning this (maybe because my memory is shit)
So, to the point, it makes me wonder if there’s something in it connected with Sunny’s current situation? I mean, there’s this whole Mermaid Queen thing, but is this the only thing that leads to Sunny’s Child Of The Ocean trait? Maybe Chad somehow helped there?
Or maybe my guy just had his spiritual girlie phase and Val is just such a Piwniczak* that anyone compared to him looks like a number 1 fan of mother nature.
Sorry for ranting again, I’m literally unable to keep my thoughts short C’:
Also, I hope that anything of what I wrote makes sense xD
Tumblr media
*it’s a Polish term for someone who practically never leaves home, has no friends and spends most of the time on PC
Hihihihi Sorry I didn't get to this sooner! I was shooting the next scene and took like way too many screenshots holy shit.
Piwniczak is my new favorite word thank you
I would attribute most of the mentions of Chad's connection to the island as mostly my way of doing some extremely heavy handed foreshadowing re: child of the ocean. But also I don't think it would be unrealistic to consider that he would be more respectful and aware of the local culture and the belief that the island and the surrounding nature is personified with spirits and gods. Val is too much of a Piwniczak so I couldn't really use him to foreshadow Sunny's connections to the island. Like most people in his life I bet Val has this tenuous relationship with the island and the spirits that embody it. And like most people she encounters, the island has developed a soft spot for baby Sunny- especially the ocean. The stars I see as little prying eyes- like twitter followers and readers, entities far away that live for the drama. And the Ocean of course is very maternal. Anyway it's not perfect but the island definitely likes Chad more than Val aksdjaksl
I hope that helps????? A little? At the end of the day I try to lay on the foreshadowing THICK cause it is a serialized format that I write in chunks, and I want everyone to be able to keep up and not feel too lost. Thank you for your enthusiasm!!! It means a lot :)c
xo, Anne

Yashahime : The sequel that could have been everything
As many of us know we all have a favorite comfort show or movie that brought us much happiness and nostalgia , well for me it was "Inuyasha" (created by Rumiko Takahashi) which was first debut as its manga of the same name before it was later adapted into an anime in the early 2000's. The anime follows the journey of Kagome Higurashi who came accidentally traveled to the feudal era though a mystical well and Inuyasha the young Half-human half-dog demon the illegitimate son of a powerful demon lord as them and their friends Sango the demon slayer , Miroku the cursed monk and Shippo a mystical fox demon child travel around feudal era Japan collecting shards of the sacred Shikon jewel that has the Ability to enhance the spiritual power of those who whether demon or human. While the show itself had its up and downs it still became a memorable series to watch . . . that is until we get to "Yashahime: Half-demon Princesses" the sequel to the anime that did not really live up to the hype that many old and new fans were hoping for as the show had its own that we will discuss.
"Yashahime" is the spin-off series of the original Anime and Manga "Inuyasha" that released in June 27, 2021 which shows us the adventures of Towaqa , Setsuna and Moroha who have set out on journey to uncover their unknown past and reunite with their parents while also fighting powerful demons and getting into wacky high jinks.
While in the original series the focus was on the adventures of Inuyasha , Kagome and their friends however the Sequel takes a different approach as it main centers on Towa and Setsuna the fraternal twin daughters of the great demon lord of the west Sesshomaru and his orphaned ward Rin (who's relationship we will discuss later in this post) its shown in the first episode of the series that when the twins are four they get separated from each other in a forest fire then caused Towa who was desperately searching for her sister when she falls into the bone-eater's well transporting her to modern world where she is and then later adopted by her Uncle-in-law/ Kagome's younger brother Souta Higurashi , a decade pass and time-traveling portal of the bone eater's well finally reopens allowing the sister to finally reunite with until it is discover that Setsuna who shown to have become a harden warrior and demon slayer under that tutelage of Kohaku , Sango's now adult younger brother it is then when it's discovered that when the twins were separated Setsuna fell pray to a demon who not only stole her dreams but as well as her memories of her beloved sister Towa. It is during that time when the twins come across Moroha the quarter-demon child of Inuyasha and Kagome and she later joins their group as they embark on their epic journey together.
Tumblr media
As excited as many fan of "Inuyasha" sequel "Yashahime" i myself do not share the sentiment as the show itself present a lots of issues never discussed in the series but is very obviously noticed by the fandom like the mischaracterization and lack of understanding the values and principle of of character of the original anime like making the character Miroku abandon his family for the of training and don't even get me start on weird character designs and it doesn't help that the pacing of the story is confusing .
while the show did introduce us to Moroha it feels insulting that the show would her the child of the original main character to be pushed to the side for comedic relief, then their the biggest issue with this Sequel is the fact that Sunrise the production company behind Most of Takahashi's works made Sesshomaru and Rin a canonical couple and made Rin the mother of the twin in the sequel which is pretty gross when you think about as in the original aRin was only 8 years old when she was taken in by lord Sesshoumaru after he revived her when she was murdered by a pack of wolves and in the flashbacks in "Yashahime" show her to look no older than 14-15 years old when she and Sesshomaru get together. This shocking discovery did however come with plenty of criticism from fans of the fan base as very clear that their relationship in the original was meant to be a platonic/ familial one where Rin and Sesshomaru had a father and adopted child relationship that work both ways for Sesshomaru he need someone to show him that humanity was something that was worth protecting and fighting for, However these word at the time did not sway Sesshomaru as he was left confused as to why his father would say such things when those very beliefs are what led to his early demise. while these things cant be said to be the same for Rin ,her life before meeting by Sesshomaru was not an easy one, as a young child Rin's entire family was killed by bandits which lead to her becoming a orphan in another village the entire experience causing her to become mute , she later then find an injured Sesshomaru , who despite his attempts to keep her bay did not work on the kindhearted child , we continue to see their relationship progress as Rin start to view Sesshomaru as her protector/ or Father , someone who will anything to protect. Sadly despite all the fact reflecting on the true nature Sunrise production and their director still had the audacity to make this kind of thing happen in the sequel which in my opinion this is not an anime i would recommend to others no how much it had brought in its release.
This is Ashley's Anime Opinions signing off Bye !!!

Why Did John Call Himself the “Disciple Whom Jesus Loved”?
The Gospel of John stands out among the four Gospels in its unique portrayal of Jesus and the relationship between Jesus and His disciples. One of the most intriguing aspects of this Gospel is the recurring reference to the “disciple whom Jesus loved,” a title traditionally attributed to John, the son of Zebedee. This self-designation has sparked extensive theological and scholarly discussion, raising questions about its meaning, significance, and implications for understanding John’s identity and his relationship with Jesus.
Background
The Identity of the Beloved Disciple
The phrase “the disciple whom Jesus loved” appears five times in the Gospel of John (John 13:23; 19:26; 20:2; 21:7; 21:20). Although the Gospel does not explicitly name this disciple, early Christian tradition and most scholars identify him as John, the son of Zebedee, one of the twelve apostles. John, along with his brother James and Peter, formed the inner circle of Jesus’ disciples, often witnessing events that the other apostles did not, such as the Transfiguration and the raising of Jairus’ daughter (Mark 5:37; Luke 8:51; Matthew 17:1).
Tumblr media
The Gospel of John: A Unique Perspective
The Gospel of John differs significantly from the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) in both content and style. It emphasizes the divinity of Christ, the importance of love, and the intimate relationship between Jesus and His followers. John’s Gospel is also more reflective and theological, often focusing on the deeper spiritual meanings behind Jesus’ words and actions. This Gospel’s unique perspective is evident in its portrayal of the “disciple whom Jesus loved,” suggesting a special relationship between this disciple and Jesus.
Theological Implications of the Title
An Expression of Humility
One of the most common interpretations of John’s self-designation as the “disciple whom Jesus loved” is that it reflects his humility. Rather than drawing attention to himself by name, John may have preferred to emphasize Jesus’ love, which was extended to all His followers. By identifying himself primarily in relation to Jesus’ love, John redirects the focus away from his own identity and toward the love of Christ as the defining feature of his life. This humility aligns with the broader teachings of Jesus, who often spoke of the importance of humility and self-denial (Matthew 23:12; Luke 14:11).
A Testimony to Jesus’ Love
John’s use of the title can also be seen as a testimony to the unique and profound love that Jesus had for His disciples. The Gospel of John frequently emphasizes love as a central theme, encapsulated in Jesus’ commandment to “love one another as I have loved you” (John 15:12). By referring to himself as the “disciple whom Jesus loved,” John may be bearing witness to the depth of Jesus’ love, not only for him but for all who follow Him. This title serves as a reminder that Jesus’ love is personal, intimate, and transformative.
An Affirmation of Relationship
Another perspective is that John’s self-designation reflects the close personal relationship he had with Jesus. The Gospel of John highlights moments of special intimacy between Jesus and this disciple, such as when the beloved disciple reclines next to Jesus at the Last Supper (John 13:23) and is entrusted with the care of Jesus’ mother at the crucifixion (John 19:26-27). These instances suggest a bond of trust and affection that sets this disciple apart, at least in terms of narrative emphasis. John’s choice to identify himself in this way may affirm the unique relationship he experienced with Christ, one characterized by deep mutual love and understanding.
Literary and Symbolic Interpretations
The Beloved Disciple as a Model for All Believers
Some scholars argue that the “disciple whom Jesus loved” serves a symbolic role in the Gospel of John, representing the ideal believer. In this view, John uses the title not merely as a personal identifier but as a model for all Christians. The beloved disciple’s closeness to Jesus, his faithfulness, and his role as a witness to key events in Jesus’ life and ministry exemplify the qualities that all followers of Christ should aspire to. By referring to himself as the “disciple whom Jesus loved,” John invites readers to see themselves in this role, embracing their own identity as beloved disciples of Christ.
A Literary Device for Anonymity
Another interpretation is that John’s use of the title serves as a literary device to maintain a degree of anonymity. By not naming himself explicitly, John allows the focus to remain on Jesus and the message of the Gospel rather than on the identity of the author. This technique also encourages readers to focus on the experiences and lessons of the beloved disciple rather than on his personal background. The anonymity of the beloved disciple thus reinforces the universality of the Gospel’s message, making it accessible to all readers who can see themselves in the disciple’s place.
Historical Context and Tradition
Early Church Interpretations
In the early Christian tradition, the identification of John as the “disciple whom Jesus loved” was widely accepted. Church Fathers such as Irenaeus and Augustine affirmed this interpretation, emphasizing John’s unique relationship with Jesus and his role as a key witness to the events of the Gospel. This tradition also influenced the way the early Church understood the authorship of the Gospel of John, attributing it to the apostle John based on this self-designation.
The Role of Love in Early Christian Communities
The emphasis on love in the Gospel of John reflects a broader theme in early Christian communities, where love was seen as the defining characteristic of the followers of Christ. The early Church placed great importance on the commandment to love one another, as seen in the writings of Paul (1 Corinthians 13) and other New Testament texts. John’s self-identification as the “disciple whom Jesus loved” can be understood within this context as a reflection of the centrality of love in the life of the early Christian community.

Theological Significance in the Modern Context
Understanding Christian Identity
In contemporary Christian thought, the title “the disciple whom Jesus loved” offers valuable insights into the nature of Christian identity. For believers today, this designation serves as a reminder that their primary identity is rooted in their relationship with Christ and His love for them. Just as John saw himself first and foremost as the recipient of Jesus’ love, modern Christians are called to define themselves by their connection to Christ and the transformative power of His love.
A Model for Discipleship
John’s portrayal of himself as the “disciple whom Jesus loved” also provides a model for discipleship. It emphasizes the importance of cultivating a deep, personal relationship with Jesus, characterized by love, trust, and faithfulness. In a world where identity is often defined by external achievements or social status, the example of John encourages believers to find their true identity in their relationship with Christ. This perspective on discipleship challenges Christians to prioritize their connection with Jesus above all else, following the example of the beloved disciple.
Conclusion
The question of why John called himself the “disciple whom Jesus loved” is a profound and multifaceted one. It touches on themes of humility, love, identity, and discipleship, offering rich insights into both the character of John and the broader message of the Gospel of John. By choosing this self-designation, John not only reflects his unique relationship with Jesus but also provides a model for all believers to understand their own identity in Christ.
For modern Christians, this designation offers a timeless example of what it means to be a disciple of Christ—one who is deeply loved and who, in turn, lives out that love in their relationship with others.
In the end, the phrase “the disciple whom Jesus loved” is not just a reflection of John’s personal experience but an invitation to all believers to see themselves as beloved by Christ, called to live in His love, and to follow Him with the same faithfulness and devotion exemplified by John. This understanding enriches our reading of the Gospel of John and deepens our appreciation of the profound love that lies at the heart of the Christian faith.

The Oxford Principal: The Precursor to the 12 Step Program followed by Alcoholics Anonymous.
The Oxford principles
At the time, the concepts embraced by the Oxford Group were revolutionary: “no hierarchy, no temples, no endowments, its workers no salaries, no plans but God’s plan.” It was “simply a group of people from all walks of life who (had) surrendered their lives to God.
Tumblr media
The absence of leadership (members believed ultimate leadership resided with the Holy Spirit and striven to embrace God’s will instead of their own), the piety of its members and the focus on carrying its message of hope to others were ancestors to the 12 Steps. A 1936 Good Housekeeping article on the group, in fact, described it as “having neither membership, nor dues, nor paid leaders, nor new theological creed, nor regular meetings; it was simply a fellowship of people who desired to follow a way of life, a determination, and not a denomination.” The group recommended meditation and adherence to Christian principles, and listed sex tenets necessary for a spiritual revolution:
Men are sinners
Men can be changed
Confession is prerequisite to change
The changed soul has direct access to God
The age of miracles has returned
Those who have been changed must change others
(CornerstoneRecovery.com) paraphrased
The concepts behind AA stress the belief in a "Higher Power" and the surrendering of will, to your God. However though, what makes the program work better than anything else is the support system of like minded members and the availability of that emotional support, at a moments notice. Members not only offer emotional support but help with employment and in many cases, partnerships and lasting romantic relationships . Members gain a trust of one another because they suffer the same addiction without judgement. It is a lifelong struggle to maintain sobriety and recovery is a never ending process.
Healthcare professional are usually understanding, caring and sometimes facing the same challenges of addiction.
How does this concept apply or more accurately not apply to the mothers and their teenage daughters who are targeted? Many targets do turn to their faith as a means of emotional support.
They do also use prayer as an effective coping mechanism. Those that may not find this avenue an valid option, use affirmations and mantras. Some women may use both.
All can aid in easing the emotional pain and torture targeted women face not just daily but often minute by minute.
The worst thing a Targeted Woman can do is turn to alcohol or drugs, and in many cases that includes prescription drugs. It will just be another hurdle to overcome in this targeting recovery process.
Targets are repeatedly and purposefully illegally traumatized. Often those tasked as providing help, often healthcare professionals themselves, will actually work against Targets. Minimizing their concerns, gaslighting their experience by attempting to convince them that it is not real or valid, actually knowingly inflicting improper treatment or omitting treatment when required.
Even openly lying and providing false and damaging information.
It's an issue many targets have been faced with, and have shared openly. Targets are denied an emotional support system. The most important positive aspect in recovery, the real primary reason AA works so well in the recovery process in addition to the lack of judgement when members relapse.
For Targeted women, the opposite is usually true.
Their friends and family have abandoned them, and strangers often have an abusive controlling and manipulative agenda.
Targeted women also face a lifetime in Recovery.
In many situations the abusive torture will continue, be reintroduced through the purposeful triggers of covert hypnosis, and overt actions such as stalking, property vandalism, verbal abuse and taunting, physical abuse, and employment issues including Blackballing and Blacklisting.
When Targeted women approach the challenges of no-touch torture, the focus must shift from the problem to the solution. The component of the "why" in the equation, must be omitted.
It's a waste of valuable time.
Targeted Women have done absolutely nothing to deserve the illegal actions of the Perpetrators' Group and those in the community that they have recruited for what they will often falsely deem as an "Investigation" of the Target. It is not sanctioned, it is not real.
Targeted women don't bother other people, they mind their own business, try to simply live their lives and take care of their children.
These groups will do this over and over again as long is it is financially lucrative and/or provides some sort of other rewarding behavior such as an exchange of favors, done under the guise of nobility, honor and as an extension of legitimate Law Enforcement.
In conclusion, Targeted Women though facing a lifetime in Recovery from repeated and purposefully inflicted trauma, will not have most of the essential tools required in the healing process.
The Love and Support of others.

[Creation of my own Wiccan Tradition]
THOUGHTS - PERSONAL MYTHOLOGY
Erikapaios (Orphic God, the Lord, Lucifer) & Nyx ( The Lady Night ) ''give birth'' by Spirit (Blue Fire) to/ or incarnate as - Eros and Tanathos (Divine Twins of Feri) & to all divinities (of Hellenistic Polytheism), including the Witch Mothers (Circé, Hecate, Nyx, Séléné, Medea ~ traditional witchcraft). This Wicca is duotheist (of course) and very Polytheistic.
The Gods are also the Divine Twins, (Feri Tradition) Pillars of the Wild (The World described in Strix Craft) & the Civilised (Helpol), Artémis & Apollo, The Dioscuri..but also the Red and the Green Man of Blue Rose Feri: Pan & Dionysos. Gender is fluid.
The Blue God is Eros. Arddhu is Tanathos.
Quacoralina is Nyx.
Lucifer, the God, is Erikapaios/ Phanes. (Luciferianism), but also Apollo and Helios. He's may be Abraxas.
Lucifera is also Hekate, Séléné, or Hestia (fundation of the cult amongst human).
Being Luciferians, these Gods remains separate individuals: Hekate is not Nyx, Helios is not Erikapaios. Hestia is not Hecate !!
The goddess of the Esbat is Selene. Hecate is honored by the Deipnon. Dionysos, Aphrodite and Pan, Hermès, Apollon, the Kharites, are important, with Artémis (1st Goddess who visited Gaul) ( Zeus, Asclépios, Hadès ,etc) Primal Gods, Titans and Olympians are worshipped. Heroes too.
The Wheel of the Year is informed by Strix Craft. The calendar incluses also famous greek festivals. There is a myth close to Traditionnal Gardnerian Wicca but only as a formula of invitation of the Goddess and the God: the ''Sabbats''honor individual Gods (Hestia : february the first, etc)
There are other festivals for the Theoi and the Witches.
The Queen of Witches is Circé who also represent ontological anarchy (Chaos, Hakim Bey), the Black Heart of Innocence.
She's the (spiritual) daughter of Hekate & She's a Goddess.Witchcraft is informed by the Land spirits and french folklore can be invited as long as it stays under the patronage of Hecate, the Queen Circé, (to be continued) Hecate bears the Witch Fire and Kirke is the one I chose to transmit it. Some special Tools.
The Divine Initiate is Antinous (the Blue Lotus)
There are 3 types of Ancestors.
This Wicca is dynamic equilibrium between duotheism and polytheism in my own tradition. It names Orphic Gods but isn't initiatory and accessible to all. It's not ''Orphic''. It is the Wiccan Twin of Strix Craft. It is Luciferian.
Respect to Traditionnal Wicca: • Circle: insist, but all spells do not fit well with a Circle casting (powder-spells, etc) • 4 Guardians: _______• Elemental workings • Tools •
Death - Hermes Psychopompe > the Garden of Persephone.
There are 3 souls, 3 Worlds, et 4 main categories of Divinities and spirits : Red, White, Glas, Black. The Witch Can work with many spirits (Médusa, Helios, etc) : this Wicca is deeply informed by Feri, but is not Feri.
This Wicca has 4 focus: Relationship (The Gods and the Self) , Nature (spirits) , Witchcraft and Community (Wicca, Helpol, Witches, Strix Craft)The Goddess Can manifest by the Pentacle of Iron, The God by the Pearl Pentacle (or the other way) etc
Values: to be continued. No Threefold Law.
To be continued.
That's all, folks!

...Thinks a lot about how Alerina had a vision of DDD and basically just went “I’m going to love her so much, that never happens.”
And it happens anyways.
And how Alerina thinking “I’ll do something about it” isn’t very Traditional Azarathean of her. I always thought it was just her being In Denial, but no, she’s actually being kind of BRAVE about that.
So, it’s a Long Story, but essentially the way Dove comes into existence is her grandmother, an Azarathean woman, was exiled for breaking the rules a lot, not following protocols, making waves, generally not being a good obedient little spiritual pacifist.
And Dove was only raised in Azarath because her grandmother was pregnant when she was exiled, but after Dove Was Conceived, she sent her daughter (Dove’s mother) to Azarath as a way of protecting her.
And right from the start, Alerina didn’t tell people what was going on. She didn’t want to be treated like Arella; more desperately, she didn’t want her child to be treated like Raven.
Alerina apparently inherited that sort of rebellion. Even though she’s a lot more quiet and secretive about her rebellion. She never thinks of herself as being rebellious, because HER mother (the one who was so rebellious she was exiled) was outspoken and stubborn and honest to a fault.
Alerina is timid and quiet and fearful. (She’s where Dove gets about half her personality form; it’s deeply exasperated by being raised in isolation, but Magena’s more brazen personality gets lost in the shuffle of genes. .....except maybe when Dove’s dark side comes out actually, which is a line of thought I’ll have to follow later because I want to focus on their relationship to Azarathean teachings right now!)
So, honestly, I had never thought of Alerina as being very rebellious either, but suddenly I’m thinking: She really WAS rebelling in her own quiet way.
When she has this vision, her first response (besides her reaction, which is part of the reason I may never actually share This Scene) is to think, “I won’t let that happen!” That’s pretty far removed from the Classic Azarathean Nonresistance. That’s straight-up active RESISTANCE.
She cast so many spells to hide Dove that she exhausted herself. (She knew that if they found out about Dove, they’d probably want to take her away. She didn’t want that to happen. So she simply decided, I’m going to do something about it.
( (( What Alerina doesn’t know is that Azar knows about Dove, Alerina’s not powerful enough to prevent AZAR from knowing. But Azar decides she’s not the kind of threat Raven is, and elects to ignore it and keep this secret from the rest of the populace, because what good would it do to terrify her people with news of another child of Trigon being among them? So she Knows, but she doesn’t DO anything about it. But I only figured that out in the past, like, three years. )) )
Alerina keeps to herself and doesn’t make the kind of waves her mother made, anyways. In most ways, she’s a wallflower. When she’s “in public”, she’s obedient and pious; when she’s talking to people, she’s reserved and gentle. She was never the type of person to draw attention to herself. (And part of this is by design! The more Alerina blends in, the less they’ll
The spectre of Their Secret (that Alerina was raising an entire child, Trigon’s child, and keeping this a secret from every single Azarathean) affected everything from the clothes they wore to their eating habits to how long Alerina left the house. Every detail of her life was an exercise in Keeping This Massive Secret.
So Alerina may not think of herself as rebellious, but she was CONSTANTLY feeding this secret and defying “common wisdom” to protect Dove.
She’s a lot braver than she ever realizes, and more independent and stubborn and just, super ABERRANT
More than even *I* realized until having these thoughts tonight.
Azarath has a great deal of secrets, but its people don’t usually work so hard to keep their PERSONAL secrets.

Rewriting Briarlight and Longtail’s Deaths
So I am disabled, like very disabled, I am %50 of the teenagers ever diagnosed with my special combination of pain disorders, and I also unfortunately hyper fixated on warrior cats, which is bad news for me because warrior cats is super ableist, and to add insult to injury, the fandom can also be pretty ableist.
My biggest problem with the majority of “anti-ableist” AUs is that they “fix” the ableism stemming from the narrative and able bodied characters by making the disabled character less disabled, this so bad for many reasons. I’ve talked more about in other posts. The justification that real life disabled cats are less doesn’t make it not ableist, since when was warrior cats meant to be realistic? If you’re making an au where the disabled cats function like actual disabled cats you also have to make all the cats genetically accurate, and retcon Lionblaze lifting a tree.
My problem with warrior cats is not that the disabled characters cannot become full conventional warriors, I’d like it if they got to choose what duties the perform instead of being crammed into the medicine den, but I don’t care about Cinderpelt not being able to complete a marathon. Most of the fandom seems to think the issue is that the disabled character are not useful enough, instead of the way that able bodied characters deny of them agency and make remarks like “you wouldn’t want to return to a life like her’s would you?”. Disabled people do not need to be “useful” to be worthy and empowering.
It’s very obvious that most of the fandom just wants the disabled cats to be more palatable to abled bodied people, so I’ve decided to make my own rewrite instead to hopefully make myself feel better. A lot of these things are inspired by my own experiences and not every disabled person is looking for the same things in representation, this is totally self indulgent.
The goal of this AU is to highlight the many unique and valuable aspects disability and how being disabled does not infringe upon anyone’s worth, ever.
- Longtail doesn’t die in the storm, Briarpaw is still injured, but he’s found besides her, trying his best to help her cling to life.
- after Briarpaw begins to recover he stands up to Millie and other cats insulting her quality of life, he says her journey will be hard, but it is one worth taking.
- She asks him why he’s an elder, and he decides to request to have his warrior ship restored as Briarpaw is dreading the life of an elder.
- On his first patrol the cats accompanying him insist on speaking to him in an incredibly infantilism tone, and whispering amongst themselves over what he can or can’t do, without consulting him,
- He initially gives up on patrolling after that insufferable experience.
- Briarlight begins to create marks and blobs on the wall of the medicine den using crushed up dead herbs she asks him to retrieve some berries for her, and he complies.
- Jayfeather shows him how he navigates the territory with the help of some of the sighted cats, and Mousefur is quick to volunteer as his guide. He finds her company surprisingly empowering. He realizes that it was not his blindness which was limiting his abilities, but the other cats attitudes.
- Mousefur and Longtail return with mouthful of berries and herbs, Briarlight describes to him what she’s drawing on the side of the den and he helps he mound the materials into paint.
- The cats begin to pop into the medicine den to see Briarlights painting and soon Jayfeather has to kick her out occasionally so they’d stop crowding him, she’s given the walls of camp to decorate instead.
- She begins to illustrate Longtails stories of the old territory and Bloodclan, and this new form of storytelling becomes a tradition amongst Thunderclan.
- because more young cats are aware of the clans history it becomes harder for the dark forest to recruit them, unfortunately, Blossomfall’s resentment towards her sister means she never cared to listen.
- Ivypool is still recruited and trained like in canon, given her relationship with the dark forest was much more emotionally charged and manipulative than just plain lies.
- at a gathering Longtail meets Grasspelt who inquires about Briarlight, Longtail is surprised about how little he knows as the she-cat had mentioned how well they got along as apprentices. Despite Millie nagging him not to tell him the truth about her daughter he does anyways, but puts much more emphasis on how well she’s doing than Millie expected. Grasspelt thinks this sounds really cool and decides that he is going to see her and her paintings, and that nobody can stop him. Longtail makes sure to put any opposing cat in their place, but Briarlight is a very respected Clanmate, so most warriors don’t say anything.
- Briarlight is nervous and doesn’t want to come out of the medicine den at first, but when Grassheart darts into the den holding berries and flowers for her to paint with she quickly warms up to her visitor.
- Grassheart is happy to tell Briarlight that he’s never been able to be a “functioning” warrior, and that he has always imagined that his spirit is shaped different, the medicine cat says his body is normal, but he’s never been able to keep focus in a fight or react as quickly as he should be able to while hunting. (He’s autistic because I say so)
- As dusk nears he’s visually hesitant to return to Riverclan and when Longtail inquires on why he says that he hasn’t felt so “here” for a long time. On the way back he wanders off and comes back with a chipmunk, when returning to Riverclan territory his father, Mintfur, is shocked to see his catch. After talking with his family a bit he realizes that it was the noise from the river that was making him so tense and dissociated, Brackenfur, who was escorting him, notices that he keeps rubbing himself on the ground and wincing.
- For the next couple moons Grasspelt returned to Thunderclan to bring Briarlight plants that only grow in Riverclan territory, he begins trying to fish from the quite lazy stream in their territory and soon both him and Briarlight have got it down.
- Longtail notices the sadness present whenever Grasspelt left and exclaims that it’s rather stupid that he’s living somewhere so unsuited for him just because of words long repeated.
- Grasspelt confesses that he feels the same, but knew he wasn’t supposed to say anything. Briarlight tells Longtail that her and the Riverclan warrior had been thinking of each other as mates for moons.
- Longtail accompanies Jayfeather to the next half moon meeting where he proposes his addition to the warrior code, “no cat should be confined to laws which harm them due to an inherent physical or spiritual difference.” (Cats don’t really know how brains work, so they see mental disabilities as a difference within a cats spirit)
- A moon later the leaders meet to discuss this proposition, it is accepted and Grasspelt makes the journey to Thunderclan for the final time.
- Grasspelt is renamed Grassspirit when becoming a Thunderclan warrior, unlike prior renaming of disabled cats this is a celebration.
- Grassspirit spends most of his time taking care of the elders and kits, he’s incredibly compassionate especially with kits and is able to solve many problems within the nursery.
- When twigkit and Violetkit arrive in Thunderclan Briarlight and Grassspirit help raise them, after Violetkit is taken Briarlight and Twigkit paint her on the side of Thunderclan camp.
- Briarlight still gets sick and her illness progresses without any treatment, Grassspirit notices her trying to hide it and when Longtail finds out he’s very upset. Jayfeather frantically treats her, expressing his frustration that she didn’t tell them sooner, the second Millie steps out she breaks down and explains that she just wanted to deal with it herself, and perhaps if she were successful Millie would finally treat her like an adult.
- Longtail gives Millie a stern talking to, he tells her that Briarlight is a warrior of Thunderclan and as her clanmate she should show her some respect.
- Millie is inherently very reactionary, as she had not realized the full extent of her suffocation, but eventually after a couple moons her and Briarlight begin to rekindle their relationship, like adults.
- Blossomfall sees how Brairlight wasn’t basking in their mother’s attention like she imagined, and feels the urge to seek out an actual sisterhood after ignoring Briarlight for moons and moons.
- Briarlight isn’t really mad at her sister, and understands why she felt the way she did. Jayfeather suggests that Blossomfall help Briarlight with her painting, Blossomfall seems put off with the suggestion of being her sister’s assistant.
- The interactions that follow are less than ideal, Blossomfall commends Briarlight’s able friends (Thornclaw, Poppyfrost, Alderheart, etc) for being so nice to her, as if that’s not what friends do. She seems very sad the entire time, sighing when her sister dragged her legs around with her mouth to sit more comfortably, even though she was completely fine. When watching her paint she comments that it’s good she has “something to keep her busy”, and finally she expresses her view, of Briarlight’s injury and her (Blossomfall’s) suffering being all worth it because of her talents, as if her life was not worth living to begin with.
- Briarlight tells her that if that’s truly what she wants she’s going to have to put more effort into understanding and respecting her way of life, and that she won’t apologize for their mother’s actions.
- When Blossomfall has her kits they take a liking to Auntie Briarlight, and Blossomfall seems to have reflected on their past interactions, trusting her sister to watch her kits. Briarlight teases a bit, a subtle way of telling her not to rush things, but they do begin to feel like something close to sisters.
- Right before Briarlight’s Nieces and Nephews are made warriors Longtail dies of Greencough. Throughout the entirety of his sickness he kept his sense of humour, his mean streak, and his immense love for what he had made of his clan.
- At his vigil Grassspirit began whaling like a bird in new-leaf, he insists that the vigil is too sad, and that Longtail wouldn’t want everyone moping around, for Starclan’s sake, his life was good. Standing amongst them, Longtail’s spirit can feel every cat in Thunderclan standing around him, singing the song of a life well lived.

1, 11, 24, 40(Aiko & Reiki)
💙💙💙.
1- Do you listen to music when you write?
Yes a lot ! Except when I'm proofreading otherwise I can't focus. Someone ask me the same question I went more in details that might interest you here
11- Books and/or authors who influenced you the most
Oh there is too many people but I'll say what inspired me for this fic especially
Eiji Yoshikawa who wrote a fiction about the life of famous swordman Musashi Miyamoto (who will inspired Takeshi Inoue to draw Vagabond by the way).
Miyamoto Musashi himself wrote his memoirs in the book of five rings.
Sun Zu and the Art of War.
Sei Shonagon she was a writer from the Heian court in the 10th century
Murasaki Shikibu, an other noble writer from the Heian court, she wrote the famous book The tales of Genji, and my Genji Hikaru is a direct hommage to hers. In her book, the prince is a poet running for honour and ladies and mine is like the dark version : "Naahh I don't want to do poetry...I wanna fight Madara Uchiha and conquer the world."
Ibn Khaldun a 14th century historian and philosopher, who wrote a universal history book called Muqaddimah. There is theories about civilisations cycles, sociology and economy.
G.R.R. Martin for his way to always surprise and trick the readers. I love how he built his plots.
Michel of Greece who is an actual European prince and an author, he wrote a lot of fictions based on historical figures. My favourite is Louis XIV, the other side of the sun a fiction about the life of the King of France who took back his power after having beeing traumatized by a nobles rebellion in his youth.
The clan of the Otori from Lian Hearn.
J.K. Rowling for the whole Harry Potter saga. I love her world building it's not too big like GRR martin, it's the right size.
Victor Hugo for Les Miserables and his poetry.
Talking about poetry hard to not mention, Arthur Rimbaud, Baudelaire, John Keats and Rumi. I'm obsessed by them.
Not a book in particular but the real japanese warring state era (from 1467 to 1615 BC) is a source of inspiration with his most famous figures : Oda Nobunaga, Ieyasu Tokugawa, Hideyoshi Toyotomi
24- Favourite genre to write and read
Without a surprise I like historical stories, with large world building intrigues and conspiracy. It's just an excuse for me to talk about everything at once lol : society, politics, psychology, war, love, family issue you name it... In future I'd like to write a romance, it's a bit a challenge because I don't think I'm really good at it. But I love true romance, not teenage love where there is nothing to loose. but when two characters have to deal a relationship which challenge their values and involve the world around them.
And a tend to read less fiction nowadays because I watch tv shows instead. But now I read more things who will teach me something like essay on philosophy and sociology and spirituality.
40- Share some backstory for one of your characters
Ok I need to be careful not to spoil my future chapters...😋
Aiko
I'll take this opportunity to clarify who she is since I talked with some of my readers and there was some ambiguity (I'll rewrite it later when the book is finished) . She's not blood-related to Madara or Izuna. She has her own family. Madara's mother were her wet nurse and she breastfed both Izuna and Aiko in the same time. Both families were very close to the point Aiko can come inside Tajima's house without knocking the door. She was very loved by Madara's mother. In a way she was the daughter she never had. For Madara she was like a little sister.
Reiki
The idea for this character came one day while I was scrolling instagram and I saw this video :
youtube
At the time I knew I wanted an OC who won't be a kunoichi to force Madara out of his comfort zone. But I have no idea of who? how? where? when? Then I see this mysterious girl dancing on a beach with so much grace and confidence, and yet we can't see her face... I knew that was this energy I was looking for. And then her backstory slowly flourish from there. For now (chapter 6) you don't know enough about her, but later it will make sense to you all.
thank you for your questions !
here the original list of questions

About the white tree (lol why): I tried to match the scene in Akallabêth and the scene in Mariner’s Wife and felt like they fit, so I’m quite convinced it’s Nimloth indeed. That adds a new layer: it’s also called Ancalimë (by Aldarion), which matches with your name idea Míriel? I like it as a symbol of the beginning and ending of queenship plus the spiritual mother of Númenor?Maybe I’ll post that white tree standing alone scene later that feels quite profound but also 👀 Tolkien what…?
The white Elven-tree alone he spared; and when the woodcutters were gone he looked at it, standing amid the desolation, and he saw for the first time that it was in itself beautiful. In its slow Elven growth it was yet but twelve feet high, straight, slender, youthful, now budded with its winter flowers upon upheld branches pointing to the sky. It recalled to him his daughter, and he said: ‘I will call you also Ancalimë. May you and she stand so in long life, unbent by wind or will, and unclipped!’
My brain had absolutely, completely, a hundred percent erased this fact from my memory??? Oh my god?!?! 😭😭😭😭 I'm a fake Nimloth stan... And I thought Aldarion thinking the Tree reminded him of Ancalimë was a headcanon I had come up with... URGENT reread needed...Now I'm wondering if Aldarion ever told Ancalimë about that, and if she also had a special relationship with the tree! Despite everything she doesn't strike me as a gardener-type, you know? But now I'm wondering! Thanks for reminding me of this I'm 🥺🥺🥺🥺 omg...
And now I'm wondering WHEN she started being called Nimloth - we don't know if she had a name when she was given to Aldarion? (And yes you're right, even more basis for my HC that either Isildur or Elendil or both would call their sapling "Míriel" 🥺🥺🥺🥺 Thank u for thinking about it... I know it's so silly but. Absolutely attached to that idea...)
It had literally never occured to me to think of the connection between the tree's life span and queenship but wow, it really adds up, huh! One more point for Nimloth the Fair as the symbolic female to Earendil's symbolic male <- I typed this in a jokey tone, but um, thinking about the divide between expansionist kings and insularist queens... well! Huh.*
@echoofthemusic One more thing (sorry): Aldarion compared to Eärendil is interesting but I read about that in the past under [a context I dislike] so I’m conflicted… I’m into more nuanced takes on Eärendil! But I feel like some takes gave him…I dunno…a kind of ego that I don’t see? But the sea-longing is actually quite similar? I think there is also a theme of various Númenórean projections on Eärendil: Elros-affinity to Men, Atanamir-immortality, Pharazôn-power, Amandi-plea for mercy?
(do NOT apologize for sending me cool messages) Earendil and ego, really? I believe you have seen this because I believe Tolkien fans are capable of producing any take on Earth, no matter how divorced from the source material, or bad-faith, or boring. Earendil's motivations in sailing range from curious to heroic, but where does ego even factor in it? It is not even framed as selfish or childish. He's not doing it to prove himself to anyone... Unless there is some HoMe thing I don't know and probably don't care about.
I agree SO MUCH with Númenoreans fighting over what Eärendil means as a symbol! Everyone loves him and everyone wants to identify with him. I absolutely agree Aldarion and other expansionists after him would focus a lot on Eärendil as a mariner, his passion for sailing; King's Men on his sailing West, Faithful on his respect for the Valar... Honestly, this is my personal taste, but generally speaking I think the First Age is at its most interesting when we're looking at it through the eyes of the Second Age Númenorians. I love the historical dispute over heritage and symbols and history and what... specially on what concerns the Edain and their heroes. I think of King's Men presenting themselves as the ones who are true to their legacy, who want to claim their birthright to choosing immortality as descendents of Eärendil and Elros while the Faithful are mere "elf-lovers"; meanwhile the Faithful can say they are the ones honoring their biology, not wanting to change into something they're not. Elros chose mortality; tradition says so would his father have, if not for Elwing.
And like, are any of these assessments completely wrong, really?
Amandil-plea for mercy is definitely the one that haunts me the most because it is the most on-the-spot one, after all! This is the true legacy.
Then Amandil said farewell to all his household, as one that is about to die. ‘For,’ said he, ‘it may well prove that you will see me never again; and that I shall show you no such sign as Eärendil showed long ago. But hold you ever in readiness, for the end of the world that we have known is now at hand.’
He even takes three shipmates with!! But he has no Elwing to come flying in wings of pale flame to him, with a light to guide him west,
Men could not a second time be saved by any such embassy, and for the treason of Númenor there was no easy absolving.
You bet I think early Gondor and Arnor they bore this in mind a lot :(((

— PERSONALITY & PREFERENCES —
Personality:
Willa is often outgoing and cheerful, and nearly always has a smile on her face. She loves to make new friends and has no trouble interacting with strangers or crowds. She was very shy and withdrawn as a child, but as she grew older Willa grew into her confidence and enjoys being around others. However, she is an introvert at heart and prefers to surround herself with a smaller inner circle and needs frequent alone time to recharge.
Willa is kind and gentle, seeking to help others whenever she can. She seeks harmony and often finds herself as a peacemaker in times of conflict. Willa cares deeply about those she loves and is loyal nearly to a fault. She can be very stubborn, and when she’s decided on an opinion of someone it is difficult for her to change it. She likes to be right, and she likes doing things her own way. Willa can be a bit particular, but it comes down to her stubborn belief that her way is the best way. She likes to help others, and can sometimes help too much and risk suffocating or being clingy with her loved ones.
While she has a wide assortment of acquaintances, her inner circle of close friends and family are her focus and she is always willing to drop anything to help them. Though she loves to help others, Willa is very independent and does not like to rely on others. She can be impulsive and loves to try new things, often jumping from one hobby to another without finishing previous projects. History:
Hidden on the cliffs of the Rosmare sea lies a small village called Armara. Under a near constant deluge of rain, a small community thrives on farming and fishing. Willa’s family has always lived in Armara, and they always will. The family farm goes back through many generations and it has always been expected that Willa will be there to see it through the next.
Born to Torin and Una Clary, Willa is the middle child of three and the only daughter. When she was little, her older brother Finnegan was her best friend and she spent her days following him around the farm and learning how to take care of the animals. At three years old Willa told her mother that the sheep could talk, and her mother laughed— thinking it was simply childish imagination. But Willa insisted, the sheep really could talk, and so could the cows and the pigs and even the birds who nest in the trees. Her mother often found her talking to the farm animals, seemingly carrying on full conversations. As she got older, her parents tried to break her from this “childish fantasy”, it wasn’t real and there was no place for fantasy in Armara.
When she was six, Willa’s younger brother Eoghan was born. From birth he was perfect, everything their parents had hoped for in a child. He was kind, quiet, and more than content to do farm work and listen to his parents unlike his older siblings. Finnegan had always been a dreamer, never content to stay in one place or live the simple life laid out for him. He spent his time writing poetry and music, and dreaming of going somewhere —anywhere — other than Armara. Willa took after Finnegan, and she spent most of her childhood longing to be somewhere else.
Willa found this escape in her dreams, which were vivid and even frightening at times. She often had dreams about a city, a place she’d never seen in real life. In her dreams Willa was an adult, grown up and able to do strange things, magical things. She tried to copy the magic when she was awake, lifting leaves without touching them, changing the color of her hair to whatever she wanted, and she found that the powers she had in her dreams were real. Willa showed her parents her newly found powers but instead of being excited, they were terrified.
Generations before Willa was born, Armara had been a place steeped in magic. People worshiped the old gods, they used magic freely and passed it on to others, they lived at peace with nature and with the spiritual forces of the land around them. But over time the old gods faded away in favor of a new one and magic was branded as witchcraft, wickedness, evil. Those who practiced it weren’t welcome in the village, and by the time Willa was born Armara had become a deeply superstitious place. The name “witch” was given to anyone different, and the only way to thrive in Armara was to fit in.
So Willa was told to hide her magic, to never show it to anyone and to forget she had ever had it. She spent every Sunday morning at the old stone church with the rest of the village listening to a priest talk about the horrible fate that would befall anyone who chose to practice witchcraft. Aside from attending church, Willa’s parents tried to keep her away from others, always afraid she’d slip up and reveal her powers to someone else.
Inevitably, one of her neighbors spotted Willa practicing magic behind the barn, and the whole village was caught up in the panic. Her parents were told to send her away, out of Armara to somewhere she could be “safe” and learn to repent from her wicked ways. Her parents refused, but Willa was ostracized and forced to stay away from the others. She was no longer allowed to play with any of the other village children lest her evil was contagious. Willa was a witch, and witches didn’t belong in Armara.
Despite her relative isolation, Armara was a beautiful place to grow up. Willa had her animal friends and her brothers, and she made her first real friend when she was 9, a girl named Isolde. Her parents didn’t understand her and the village hated her, but she continued to study her magic in private, learning the bounds of her abilities. She continued to have dreams about the city, and she often asked her parents if she could someday travel to find this city. Every time they forbid her from leaving— Armara was her home, she had a duty to the family and the land. Willa felt trapped, she wasn’t accepted in Armara but she couldn’t leave.
One night under the light of a full moon, Willa went into the woods after dark, something she had been warned against since childhood. The people of Armara did not believe in the old gods anymore, but they still feared their power which was said to be strongest in the woods. The villagers did not worship the old gods, but that night Willa did. She prayed to the spirits of the wind and the trees, she dipped her toes in the freezing cold stream and prayed to the spirits of water, but no one answered. Finally in desperation she began to pray to the shadows, the very darkness around her, and she got an answer.
“What is it you want?” the shadows asked.
“Nobody ever listens to me!” Willa cried, “I want a way out of here.”
The deal was struck, though Willa did not know then how dearly she would pay for her new found power. When she returned home she found that suddenly, everyone listened to her. She asked for something and found three hands holding it out for her, she told her mother she wanted to go into town and, for once, was allowed to go. Her wish was everyone’s command and at first the power was intoxicating. But one day, she found that the unlimited power she’d been given could have grave consequences.
Willa had an argument with her younger brother Eoghan, a simple sibling squabble over whose turn it was to do a chore. She generally got along with her brothers, they were among the only people in Armara who didn’t look at her in fear or derision, but Eoghan was mad. He called Willa a witch, a term only those who hated her used. Willa was angry and hurt, and when she shouted, “You shut your mouth Eoghan Clary!” she didn’t expect her magic to take over. Willa watched in horror as Eoghan’s mouth snapped shut, his lips pulling together like they’d been sewn closed. She tried everything to fix it, commanding him to open his mouth, telling him to speak, but the magic stuck.
As the days went by with no change, her family panicked. Eoghan’s mouth was still stuck shut and it was only a matter of time before he died of thirst or hunger. So Willa went back to the woods at night to beg for the shadows help once more. She didn’t want this power anymore, she only wanted her brother.
“What will you give?” the shadows asked.
“Anything.”
When she returned home Eoghan’s curse had been lifted, but she found her parents even more furious than before. Eoghan had nearly lost his life as a result of her magic, so it was decided that Willa must be sent away. She had wanted out of Armara, but when faced with the prospect of leaving her family behind, Willa was terrified. She begged them to stay, but she had lost her power of manipulation and her parents were resolute.
The next morning, Willa went to pay her friend Isolde a visit before she left. When she knocked on the door, Isolde’s grandfather opened it, his tear-streaked face shocking Willa. She learned that her friend had died suddenly the night before, healthy and alive one moment and gone the next. Though there was no proof, Willa knew her deal had caused this. A life for a life, Eoghan had been saved in exchange for Isolde’s life.
The next day, on her 15th birthday, Willa’s parents sent her off to a city called Vesuvia to live with her Great Aunt Fiadh. Fiadh was her grandmother’s sister and many years earlier she’d been sent away by her own family under similar conditions. Witches were not allowed in Armara, but it seems they were welcomed with open arms in Vesuvia. When she arrived in the city, Willa realized that this was the place she’d been dreaming of for so long. She loved Vesuvia, she finally had a chance to practice her magic in a place where people accepted her.
Willa flourished in the city, though she missed the nature that had surrounded her at home and the family she’d had to leave behind. Away from Armara, she began to heal, and though the guilt of what happened with Isolde didn’t go away, it was easier to deal with in a new place. She met a new friend, a magician named Asra, and began to learn how to control her powers. When the plague came to Vesuvia, she knew she needed to help as many people as she could. Willa still felt as if she had sins to atone for, and she couldn’t ignore the suffering around her even as Asra and her Great Aunt Fiadh begged her to leave the city.
When Willa contracted the plague and passed away, Fiadh ventured back to Armara to share the terrible news. Finnegan travelled back to Vesuvia with her and they held a proper funeral and mourned Willa together. He decided to stay in Vesuvia with his great aunt, and when Willa was miraculously brought back to life, Finnegan was there to help her recover.
As she got her memories back, Willa remembered the deal she’d made and the terrible price she’d paid to obtain power. She never forgave herself for what happened, and vowed to never use her powers again. But over time, and with the help of her friends and family, Willa began to move on and learn to control her powers again instead of running from them.
Post-canon, Willa still runs the apothecary shop with her Great Aunt Fiadh, but she spends most of her time out at her farm in the forest. She’s done enough world-saving for one lifetime, and enjoys a quiet life of creativity and spending time with her loved ones. Though her life is mostly peaceful, Willa still finds herself wary of the woods at night and she sometimes feels as if the shadows are watching her.
Five facts:
Willa uses her magic to enchant her knitting with protection and warmth charms
she carries her sketchbook with her everywhere and often stops to draw a passing stranger or a pretty flower in inspiration strikes
she’s a vegetarian
she’s left handed, which was seen as a bad omen in her hometown, her mother tried to train her to use her right hand but she refused to change
Willa knits sweaters and hats for the animals she cares for, and she lets them pick out the yarn

scandalous star: gary cooper -an analysis
“I don’t like to see exaggerated airs and exploding egos in people who are already established. No player ever rises to prominence solely on talent. They’re molded by forces other than themselves. They should remember this – and at least twice a week drop to their knees and thank Providence for elevating them from cow ranches, dime store ribbon counters and bookkeeping desks. ” - Gary Cooper
He didn’t say much, but when he did, it carried a lot of weight. He was the archetypal hero of the Old West; the quintessential masculine ideal of the stoic and “strong silent type” that most Taurus men are. But for famously laconic Gary Cooper, his good looks and earnest, haunted eyes for decades made him the quintessential lonely American of motion pictures. He was a more equanimous, human protagonist versus boisterous, bigger-than-life Hollywood supermen. He was renowned for his quiet, understated acting style and his individualistic, emotionally restrained, but at times intense screen persona, which was particularly well suited to the many Westerns he made. He was a man’s man...as well as a ladies’ man. Cooper became a hero to many, even as he developed a reputation as one of the most notorious philanderers in Hollywood. Privately a debonair ladykiller with a taste for high society, he crafted an image as just the opposite from his prototype cowboy image he materfully portrayed on the silver screen. He was insatiable, before and during his marriage. How did he reconcile his moral righteousness onscreen (Taurus sun) with his philandering offscreen (Sagittarius moon)? That was the work of the fixers, gossip magazines, and the studio system at large, which ensured that Cooper was never caught, never denounced, and held up as a paragon of American values.
Tumblr media
Gary Cooper, according to astrotheme, was a Taurus sun and Sagittarius moon. He was born Frank James Cooper in Helena, Montana, the second son of an English farmer from Bedfordshire, who later became an American lawyer and judge, Charles Henry Cooper (1865-1946), and Kent-born Alice (née Brazier) Cooper (1873-1967). As a child, he met a freed slave woman named Mary Fields, otherwise known as Stagecoach Mary, and so awed by her was she that he later wrote an account of his memories of her in Ebony magazine. His mother hoped for their two sons to receive a better education than that available in Montana and arranged for the boys to attend Dunstable Grammar School in Bedfordshire, England between 1910 and 1913. Upon the outbreak of World War I, Cooper’s mother brought her sons home and enrolled them in a Bozeman, Montana, high school. Upon graduation, he eventually matriculated at Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA, where he attempted to nurture a passion for drawing - until a serious car accident ended his college days in the summer of 1920. He would recover from his severely injured hip through an odd but painful therapy, horseback riding.
When his father retired from the bench and moved his mother to Los Angeles, Cooper gave up agriculture classes to try his hand as a Hollywood extra. Cooper played an extra in a handful of silent films before arriving on the set of The Winning of Barbara Worth in 1926. The actor cast as the second male lead didn’t show, and someone shoved Cooper into the part. He appeared with Clara Bow (who soon became one of his conquests) in her star-making film It, but it was his appearance in another Bow vehicle Wings, released later that same year, truly launched his career. He plays a World War I flying cadet, and although his screentime was still relatively short, there was one scene — an extended close-up shot, the light streaming in from outside — in which he looked gorgeous. In 1929, he filmed The Wolf Song with Lupe Vélez. He soon had an affair with Velez, who purportedly claimed that Cooper “has the biggest organ in Hollywood but not the ass to push it in well.” For more on their relationship, read my star analysis on Lupe.
Cooper filmed The Virginian — his first real “talkie,” and the film was a major hit and cemented the foundation of Cooper’s image. His ability to project elements of his own personality onto the characters he portrayed, to appear natural and authentic in his roles, and to underplay and deliver restrained performances calibrated for the camera and the screen helped make him a cinematic success, often lauded by those he worked with. However, his good looks and charisma made him a success with women, whether he worked with them or not. Over the next few years, Cooper was paired with the most gorgeous and promising female stars in Hollywood —with Carole Lombard in I Take This Woman (whom he slept with), Claudette Colbert in His Woman (whom he allegedly slept with), Marlene Dietrich in Morocco and Desire (who he famously slept with more than once), and Joan Blondell in Make Me a Star (who he allegedly slept with). In 1932, Cooper and his Paramount “rival,” Cary Grant, were cast against Tallulah Bankhead in Devil and the Deep (1932). Like Lupe Velez, Bankhead was a loose cannon, with most famous quote being:
“The only reason I went to Hollywood was to fuck that divine Gary Cooper.”
Amidst all his public and private action, Cooper began courting Veronica “Rocky” Balfe, a starlet who went by the stage name of Sandra Shaw. She was also best known as the blonde dropped by King Kong. The two were wed in late 1933. Balfe retired from the screen to become a wife and mother, with her giving birth to their only child, Maria, in 1937. Cooper portrayed a new type of hero—a champion of the common man—in films like Mr. Deeds Goes To Washington and 1941′s Sergeant York (which won him his first of two Best Actor Oscars). Cooper met Ernest Hemingway at Sun Valley in October 1940 and they were friends for the rest of his life. He co-starred with Ingrid Bergman (with whom he had a year-long affair with) in a the film adaptation of Hemingway’s For Whom the Bell Tolls. He kept starring in more films and bedding his female co-stars until he got more than he bargained for when he made The Fountainhead. Naturally, the 47-year-old Cooper had an affair with his co-star, the 21-year-old Patricia Neal. However, this time things got crazy: Neal wound up pregnant with Cooper’s child. He insisted she have an abortion. When Cooper’s long-suffering wife found out about the relationship, she sent a telegram demanding he end it. This didn’t work; he also confessed that he was in love with Neal, and continued to see her. Cooper and his wife legally separated in May of 1951. Cooper’s daughter Maria, by then in her early teens, famously spat on Neal in public. Neal later claimed that Cooper hit her after she went on a date with Kirk Douglas. Neal ended their relationship in late December 1951. Amid all this drama, Cooper starred in what is now regarded as his defining role: the beleaguered sheriff in High Noon, which won him his second Best Actor Oscar. In later life, he became involved in a relationship with the costume designer Irene, and was, according to Irene, "the only man she ever loved".
Maybe all his previous actions had an affect on him because Cooper converted to Catholicism in 1958, and reconciled with his wife and daughter. Also, he began starring in films that centered around searching for redemption, such as Friendly Persuasion (1956) and Man of the West (1958). In 1960, Cooper fell ill with prostate cancer, which quickly spread to his colon, lungs, and bones; he died of it shortly after his 60th birthday in 1961. A year after his death, Irene committed suicide by jumping from the 11th floor of the Knickerbocker Hotel, after telling Doris Day of her grief over Cooper's death. Regardless of his philandering, regardless of the arduous work of his studio’s publicity departments, there was something plaintive, almost childlike, maybe even innocent about Cooper, so he can easily be forgiven his sins. He acted out what mattered to millions of people, and that act made him a star beyond measure.
Next, I’ll focus on his former paramour Lupe Velez’s arch nemesis. A woman who happened to be wife of MGM art director Cedric Gibbons (Gary Cooper’s wife Rocky’s uncle). She was another pioneer of Mexican cinema who was arguably the first Latina to successfully crossover to Anglo audiences: Leo Dolores del Río.

Overall personality snapshot: He was torn between an instinct to roam free and a determination to find security and make a solid, lasting contribution to the world. As he repeatedly changed horses in search of both ultimate certainties and high-spirited adventure at the same time, he could find himself deeply divided and uncertain. He sought to earth the fire from heaven and put it to work, but he found all too often that it would not let him rest. In his search for stability and security, he became a farmer and was immediately confronted with the changing seasons. He embraced the solid certainties of geology and are hit by an earthquake. He liked to feel the solid earth move. He sought certitude and permanence, yet his endless inquiries constantly confounded yesterday’s certainties. When he got his own uncertainties together (by accepting he wanted the best of both the changing and the unchanging worlds), he could have been a brilliant teacher, conversationalist, counselor, entertainer, wit, creative artist or entrepreneur – in fact he could have been anything he wanted. Once focused, he could be a human dynamo, and wonderfully humorous, witty and entertaining with it. As he discovered, his quest for solid material certainties did not make a happy bedfellow for his yearning for excitement and larger religious and spiritual understanding. In one way or another, be it through philosophy and the spiritual quest or through writing, music or art, he needed to put together and formulate a total vision of the universe which is based on unassailable facts yet satisfying to his idealism.
Constantly seeking, he was a natural agnostic, applying the criteria of science to counter woolly speculations, yet at the same time highly skeptical of the limited and statistical pronouncements of unthinking science. The danger, if he did not marry these elements within him, is that he would swing from one to the other and undermine the virtues of both. A restless changing of jobs, careers, partners, visions or aspirations left him drunk with his own spinning. When he deliberately tried to remain sober and commonsensical, it seemed to make matters worse for there was something of the gambler in him. This all-or-nothing streak can temporarily overcome your natural caution and enable you to burn your bridges (though you will usually ensure there is something tucked away for a rainy day). He felt an impulsive need to do things on a grand scale, to live with commitment, to feast on the world, and to understand what it was to be alive in all possible ways. He seemed to be called both to explore the reaches of the imagination and to build secure foundations. He brought far-reaching visions into manifestation, and these visions injected his conservative desire for stability and security with flair and colour. His vision of tomorrow and the larger world gave spice to any project he undertook. He saw endless possibilities and wanted to make them real. In this he could be the natural entrepreneur who saw economic opportunities at every turn, an inspiring counselor and teacher, and a stimulating companion whatever he did.
His well-shaped body displayed a warm attractiveness and ripeness. In his later years, he may have needed to watch the tendency to gain weight too easily. His strong broad shoulders supported a very large neck size. His most outstanding feature was his eyes and his gentle smile and voice. He was big-boned. He enjoyed dressing well, preferring soft colours. He was practical, steady and patient, but he could  be inflexible in his views. One thing he did have was plenty of common sense and good powers of concentration, although he tended to think that purely abstract thought was a waste of time. His thought processes weren’t as quick as others, but his decisions were made with a lot of thought behind them. He also had the welcome ability to bring people together. He needed to be able to show his originality and independence in any job for complete satisfaction. His work should also satisfy his scientific bent and humanitarian leanings. He needed scope for his inventiveness, because he was able to bring a fresh view to any job. Ideally, his work should permit him to express the idealistic side to him character and allow him to help as many people as possible. He could be extremely efficient in the way that he tried to get maximum result out of minimum effort. He didn’t like extravagance and waste. He was a thoughtful and resourceful person, who was well-informed on many subjects. Success came gradually and as a result of hard work. Success and growth, for him, were expressed by material and financial achievements, bringing status and prestige.Worldly success was well within his reach, because he possessed all the necessary talents to gain power, influence and status. He was practical, determined and patient. When there were hitches in his plans, he simply worked around them. He knew where he was heading to, and had already figured out the best way to use his talents to reach his goals.
Although he could be fairly pessimistic about life in general, it didn’t put him off aiming for the top. He could be very single-minded about reaching his goals, and was prepared to put his career interests above his personal happiness. He was extremely aware of his own worth. He was prepared to work beyond the call of duty. His strong sense of ambition gave him a certain rigidity, arrogance and selfishness in the eyes of others. He belonged to a generation with fiery enthusiasm for new and innovative ideas and concepts. Rejecting the past and its mistakes, he sought new ideals and people to believe in. As a member of this generation, he felt restless and adventurous, and was attracted towards foreign people, places and cultures. As a member of the Gemini Neptune generation, his restless mind pushed him to explore new intellectual fields. He loved communication and the occult and was likely also fascinated by metaphysical phenomena and astrology. As a Gemini Plutonian, he was mentally restless and willing to examine and change old doctrines, ideas and ways of thinking. As a member of this generation, he showed an enormous amount of mental vitality, originality and perception. Traditional customs and taboos were examined and rejected for newer and more original ways of doing things. As opportunities with education expanded, he questioned more and learned more. As a member of this generation, having more than one occupation at a time would not have been unusual to him.
Love/sex life: His sexuality was a wonderful combination of sensuality and basic laziness. He let himself be carried along by his pleasure-seeking instincts, greeting every new experience with fresh eagerness and then slowly draining from that encounter all the joy it has to offer. This passive, easy-going approach to sex not only made for good technique, it also conceals the egocentric strength and stubbornness that was at the core of his erotic nature. People don’t realize that beneath all that luxurious hedonism he was always the person in control. He was a conservative lover for whom appearances were always important. There may have been occasions when his sensuality lured him into indiscretions but he was quick to cover his tracks and hide the evidence. The quiet practicality of his sexual nature served as a handy antidote for his Martian braggadocio. He knew that he was the best there is but he was willing to sit back and let the world find out the good news on its own. In his youth Cooper was endorsed by several female “experts” of the time (such as Clara Bow, Marlene Dietrich and Tallulah Bankhead) as Hollywood’s sexiest man. His soft spoken and manly sex appeal projected just as well on the screen. After marrying at age 32, Cooper’s sex life became somewhat more sedate though he never lost his ability to attract women.
minor asteroids and points:
North Node: Scorpio
Lilith: Scorpio
Vertex: Libra
Fortune: Capricorn
East Point: Taurus
His North Node in Scorpio dictated that he needed to be careful not to let the more emotional side of his personality overwhelm him. Instead, he should have set out to consciously develop his more practical abilities. His Lilith in Scorpio ensured that he was dangerously attracted to those women who seduced and conquered on a daily basis; who liked life intense and was judged for her sexuality and general vibe and learned early on how to deflect moral judgments. His type of women may have been tried in the court of public opinion but no way were they going to show up for the sentencing. His Vertex in Libra, 6th house dictated that he llonged for a union of souls that was based on a model of pure peace and justice. Images come to mind of a mythical life on Venus, the planet of love, where there is never a discordant beat between lovers, but rather, continual harmony even if played in the minor chords. Physical lust was certainly a necessary aspect of two beings eternally intertwined, but the platonic component far outweighed it in importance for him. He had an attitude of duty, obligation and sacrifice when it came to heartfelt interactions. The negative side was the tendency to become hypochondriacal or martyristic to get the love he so desperately wanted. There was a need for others to appreciate the sincerity of his intentions, to the daily tasks he executed in a conscientious and caring way and for others to know that his actions, no matter how routine they may seem, were based on devoted love. His Part of Fortune in Capricorn and Part of Spirit in Cancer dictated that his destiny lay in creating practical and long-lasting achievements. Success came through hard work, determination, responsibility and perseverance. Fulfillment came from observing his progress through life and seeing it take a form and structure that will outlive him. His soul’s purpose guided him towards building security in his life, both emotional and material. He felt spiritual connections and the spark of the divine within his home and family. East Point in Taurus dictated that he was more likely to identify with the need for pleasure (including the potential of liking himself) and comfort.
elemental dominance:
earth
fire
He was a practical, reliable man and could provide structure and protection. He was oriented toward practical experience and thought in terms of doing rather than thinking, feeling, or imagining. Could be materialistic, unimaginative, and resistant to change. But at his best, he provided the practical resources, analysis, and leadership to make dreams come true. He was dynamic and passionate, with strong leadership ability. He generated enormous warmth and vibrancy. He was exciting to be around, because he was genuinely enthusiastic and usually friendly. However, he could either be harnessed into helpful energy or flame up and cause destruction. Ultimately, he chose the latter. Confident and opinionated, he was fond of declarative statements such as “I will do this” or “It’s this way.” When out of control—usually because he was bored, or hadn’t been acknowledged—he was bossy, demanding, and even tyrannical. But at his best, his confidence and vision inspired others to conquer new territory in the world, in society, and in themselves.
modality dominance:
fixed
He liked the challenge of managing existing routines with ever more efficiency, rather than starting new enterprises or finding new ways of doing things. He likely had trouble delegating duties and had a very hard time seeing other points of view; he tried to implement the human need to create stability and order in the wake of change.
house dominants:

He had great interest in the unconscious, and indulged in a lot of hidden and secret affairs. His life was defined by seclusion and escapism. He had a certain mysticism and hidden sensitivity, as well as an intense need for privacy. Traveling, whether physically across the globe, on a mental plane or expanding through study was a major theme in his life. He was not only concerned with learning facts, but also wanted to understand the connections formed between them and the philosophies and concepts they stood for. His conscience, as well as foreign travel, people and places was also of paramount importance in his life. He loved the totality of the human experience and embraced the whole cycle of human life, including birth, sex and death. His darker side, and the complexes and emotions that he preferred to keep hidden, even from himself was a theme throughout his life. His ability to undergo deep personal transformations and spiritual regeneration was also highlighted.
planet dominants:
Venus

Sun
He was romantic, attractive and valued beauty, had an artistic instinct, and was sociable. He had an easy ability to create close personal relationships, for better or worse, and to form business partnerships. He believed in the fact that lessons in life were sometimes harsh, that structure and foundation was a great issue in his life, and he had to be taught through through experience what he needed in order to grow. He paid attention to limitations he had and had to learn the rules of the game in this physical reality. He tended to have a practical, prudent outlook. He also likely held rigid beliefs. He had vitality and creativity, as well as a strong ego and was authoritarian and powerful. He likely had strong leadership qualities, he definitely knew who he was, and he had tremendous will. He met challenges and believed in expanding his life.
sign dominants:
Taurus
Sagittarius
Capricorn
His stubbornness and determination kept his around for the long haul on any project or endeavour. He was incredibly patient, singular in his pursuit of goals, and determined to attain what he wanted. Although he lacked versatility, he compensated for it by enduring whatever he had to in order to get what he wanted. He enjoyed being surrounded by nice things. He liked fine art and music, and may have had considerable musical ability. He also had a talent for working with his hands—gardening, woodworking, and sculpting. He sought the truth, expressed it as he saw it—and didn’t care if anyone else agreed with him. He saw the large picture of any issue and couldn’t be bothered with the mundane details. He was always outspoken and likely couldn’t understand why other people weren’t as candid. After all, what was there to hide? He loved his freedom and chafed at any restrictions. He was a serious-minded person who often seemed aloof and tightly in control of his emotions and her personal domain. Even as a youngster, there was a mature air about him, as if he was born with a profound core that few outsiders ever see. He was easily impressed by outward signs of success, but was interested less in money than in the power that money represents. He was a true worker—industrious, efficient, and disciplined. His innate common sense gave her the ability to plan ahead and to work out practical ways of approaching goals. More often than not, he succeeded at whatever he set out to do. He possessed a quiet dignity that was unmistakable.
Read more about him under the cut.
Actor Gary Cooper was born on May 7, 1901, in Helena, Montana. Spanning from the silent film era to the early 1960s, Academy Award-winning actor Gary Cooper built much of his career by playing strong, manly, distinctly American roles. The son of English parents who had settled in Montana, he was educated in England for a time. He also studied at Grinnell College in Iowa before heading to Los Angeles to work as an illustrator. When he had a hard time finding a job, Cooper worked as a film extra and landed some small parts. After his appearance in
The Winning of Barbara Worth
(1926), a western, Cooper's career began to take off. He starred opposite silent movie star Clara Bow in Children of Divorce (1927). Cooper also earned praise as the ranch foreman in
The Virginian
(1929), one of his early films with sound. Throughout the 1930s, he turned in a number of strong performances in such films as A Farewell to Arms (1934) with Helen Hayes and Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936) directed by Frank Capra. Cooper received an Academy Award nomination for his work on the film. Cooper continued to excel on the big screen, tackling several real-life dramas. In Sergeant York (1941), the played a World War I hero and sharpshooter, which was based on the life story of Alvin York. Cooper earned a Best Actor Academy Award for his portrayal of York.
The next year, Cooper played one of baseball's greats, Lou Gehrig, in The Pride of the Yankees (1942). Again, he scored another Best Actor Academy Award nomination. Appearing in a film adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's For Whom the Bell Tolls,  Cooper starred opposite Ingrid Bergman in a drama set during the Spanish Civil War. This role garnered him a third Academy Award nomination. In 1952, Cooper took on what is known considered his signature role as Will Kane in High Noon. He appeared as a lawman who must face a deadly foe without any help from his own townspeople. The film won four Academy Awards, including a Best Actor win for Cooper. In addition to his excellent on-screen performances, Cooper became  known for his alleged romances with several of his leading ladies, including Clara Bow and Patricia Neal. The affair with Neal, his co-star in 1949's The Fountainhead, reportedly occurred during his  marriage to socialite Veronica Balfe with whom he had a daughter. Their marriage seemed to survive the scandal. By the late 1950s, Cooper's health was in decline. He made a few more films, such as Man of the West (1958), before dying of cancer on May 13, 1961. (x)

Part two of the kiddos!
WARNING CENOBITE STYLE BODY MODS
Tumblr media
Tahllulah Abigor Tudor, daughter of Sister Nikoletta and Gregory Tudor
The worst little girl™, the first thing Tahllulah does when she walks in a room is scope out any weaklings. She’s very resentful and always out to get someone, looking for a reason to hurt them. Many people never find out what they did to upset her in the first place.
Being nasty doesn’t make you many friends, which is why the only people she treats worse than...well strangers, are those who encroach on the ones she loves. A handful of people know that she actually has the ability to use her natural aggression for some good. When she isn’t picking unnecessary fights she’s got a nose for injustice, not being afraid to stand up and call it out where she sees it. So if the one who's getting picked on just so happens to be a weakling she’s fond of, she doesn’t mind coming home with a bloody nose.
She’s also a huge hypocrite. Antagonizing the ones she loves and making them feel less than is a death sentence...but this is literally what she spends most of her time doing to others, this is something she’s somewhat aware of but she doesn’t seem to care.
Fighting, whether that be physically or verbally, is one of the times Tahllulah feels secure with herself. It's not that Nikoletta and Gregory are bad parents, they just weren’t very prepared and their methods of handling Lus behavior aren’t the most effective. She’s very loved by them both and they’re some of the only people she’s ever soft around. Her mother will read to her when she gets overwhelmed, knowing that talking about their feelings isn’t something either of them will be able to do well. Greg in the kitchen like usual making them all something sweet for comfort.
-------------
A bit of an explanation. This backstory isn’t fully fleshed out, I’m still working on it. Just don’t focus on how this happened too much sdhodshgg I based it somewhat off the soul splitting from Cult of Chucky. A soul is just a spiritual or immaterial part of a living being, so Santa has one its just more of a demonic essence. Long story short, there was a magical accident and they ended up with 3 little doll children. Their relationship started out as a “I guess we have to do this for them”  co-parenting thing and slowly blossomed into something more. It wasn’t too bad, since in addition to two dads they also had a drove of elf nannies.  --------------
Eric Ulysses Claus (Puppet), son of Charles Lee Ray and Santa Claus
On average he gets along with both of his fathers very well. After all, he has Santas brains and composure with Chuckys toxicity and temper. What’s there for them to take issue with? Erics true personality lies under a thick shiny plastic veneer. Always quick with a charming smile, a witty remark, or a...convenient anecdote. In fact he’d often be described as quite solicitous if you’re stupid enough to trust that.
When he wants to get something done he’ll stop at nothing, no matter how cruel he has to be to do it, or the opposite. He’s not opposed at all to pretending to be your friend. In fact he’ll show way too much enthusiasm to get to know you, especially with new people who come into his life that he hasn’t had time to study and observe yet. Eric absolutely cannot stand being out of control of a situation though. The easiest way to see him at his most true self is to knock him down a few pegs. He turns into something akin to a malfunctioning robot.
This is why to his family...he’s completely harmless. His dads get along with him great, every member of his family loves him just as much as they love eachother. Arthur is up his ass all the time with his “moral policing” but at the end of the day he knows that the twerp still cares about him, and Helga is just...well generally annoying and wears her heart on her sleeve. There’s no arguing there.
Helga Felicity Claus (Baby Doll), daughter of Charles Lee Ray and Santa Claus
Helga is a doll who can open and shut her eyes, even if she wasn't possessed! And open them she does….the crybaby doesn’t shut them that often though. All the world is a stage and she gives a sensational dramatic performance, about every little thing. Every problem is the end of the world. This isn’t always necessarily selfish, she has a killing streak of her own but she also often finds herself getting teary eyed over the plights of others.
Chucky does have a bit of a weakness for her tears, hence why she goes to him with her woes the most, much to Santas chagrin. He’s not like a great confidant or anything but hes always there to pat her back and buy her a snack. They talk a lot about this and that, Helga curiously asking a lot of questions about his experiences. Santa doesn’t necessarily think she’s trying to manipulate Chucky on purpose, but he’s not an idiot and crying brats are one of his biggest pet peeves.
Her and Santa don’t get along sometimes not because of any grudge towards her, but because Santas the one who actually disciplines her.
She is incredibly honest, often in her pursuit to talk about her problem as much as possible she ends up revealing too much information. Helga also tends to get herself and her brothers into trouble this way. Other than that, she values sincerity. Which is why if someone is willing to admit they need help or need something from her, she’s often willing to help. Instead of trying to appeal
Arthur Preston Claus (Cabbage Patch Doll), son of Charles Lee Ray and Santa Claus
Arthur is just a happy little ball of sunshine. His piranha teeth aren’t his fault, he’ll swear up and down that he’s never used them and he never will. He has the spunk to accomplish anything that he puts his mind to, especially if it's making a friend. Artie is a pacifist but not a quiet one by any means. He will consistently call his family out on their behavior, trying his best to make them understand that he can love them deeply and still protest what they do.
He’s a very compassionate person so he gets along with Helga the best, she respects his candor and confidence in what he believes in. Arthur will often talk her into being on his side when Eric tries to drag them into one of his horrible plots. He and Chucky butt heads a lot, he’s not exactly the kind of guy who likes being told what to do or being talked back to by his kids. Arthur really doesn’t have an angry bone in his body. So these conversations are usually Chucky getting angry and Arthur jokingly pretending to be angry back.
However, he’s the apple of Santas eye. He just can’t stay mad at a kid with such an adorable face and such reasonable points in a debate.
Millicent Krueger-Firefly, daughter of Freddy Kruger and Baby Firefly
Oddly normal? Just a nice southern lady who finds her familys horrible antics incredibly endearing, will participate but it's more like the reluctance of playing monopoly with your parents than forcefully betraying her morals. She wants a simple quiet life where she can care for her animals and her crops...oh and time to catch up on her reading. Milly can be a little flighty but not irresponsible, just difficult to track down. It’s like she lives in her own little world sometimes.
Not a lot gets to her. She knows she’s letting down her father in a way, he’s not above comments with a varying range of subtlety, but it slides off her back. Milly has a skill of reading people so she can tell when he’s just trying to appease her too. Her strategy is to just...ignore him.
She doesn’t spend more time with her mother persay, even though their relationship isn’t bad. They just don’t have a whole lot in common. When the two of them do talk its usually pleasant (unless baby is oversharing the plans for that nights spree) and her mother will ask her how she’s doing, if she’s upset because her book characters are having difficulties. Millicent actually spends the most time with her Uncle Otis, shes content to silently eat ice cream and read a book in the corner while he rants to his victims.
Charlene Brackett, daughter of Winona Brackett and Judd Campbell
Charlene has never really been allowed to be herself. Her mother died in childbirth so she was raised by her grandparents, whose old world views immediately placed her into a box. Ma and Pa Brackett do “love” her in some decrepit definition, they never thought something so beautiful could come from their daughter. They want her to get married to a nice man with money so they can be taken care of in their twilight years. Most of the conversations she has with her grandfather is him saying no to her or criticizing her ideas and what she’s wearing. Ma usually backs up her husband but if he goes too far she will stick up for her, little moments Charlene cherishes deep down.
Usually, she isn’t one for confrontation and will easily go along with what she’s told to do. She really doesn’t like making trouble for people. Charlenes whole life revolves around her looks, because of this there are some days she’d rather not be seen OR heard at all. When salesmen come to the house she doesn’t try any less than her best, but not because she wants them to sweep her away from her life. It took her some time to catch on but she realized, even if they ended up dead, she could learn something from every one of them. She’s come up with a repertoire of scams and lies of her own, mostly using them to get out and get some fresh air.
